    Knight's eyes widened in panic as Slick explained the situation. [colour=#b22222]I... I drowned...? I drowned?! [/colour]He basically shut off all of his other senses as he began breathing deeply. Slick seemed to finish with his lecture, but Knight had no idea what he said after saying he wasn't breathing. [colour=#b22222]"I drowned?! I... I almost died?!" [/colour]Knight's eyes began tearing up, and he started breathing deeply. [colour=#b22222]"How could I... I thought... No..." [/colour]Knight fell to the ground as he started balling. [colour=#b22222]"I'm sorry!" [/colour]He apologized to himself[colour=#b22222], [/colour]as he lay on the ground in his tears.

    Looking around, Marble giggled silently when he noticed that the whole gang was back that day. Shadow seemed to beckon them down, so Marble naturally flew down. [colour=#ff0000]"Hey Shadow." [/colour]He greeted him. While their first meeting wasn't exactly great, Marble not being good with new ponies and all, after becoming Wonderbolts they became much more acquainted. [colour=#ff0000]"It's been a while. How're you?"[/colour]

    Leif seemed rather overjoyed at being out of the hospital. Showboat was thankful that he could hide his nervousness. [colour=#0000cd]"Okay... Does anypony know the way to Octavia's?" [/colour]He asked, after realizing that he had no clue.

    Before Knight could enter the cabin for a much needed sleep, Slick stopped him and turned him around. He for some reason wanted Knight to tell Violet that he was alright. He looked at him with confusion. [colour=#b22222]"Erm... Okay...?" [/colour]Knight trotted slowly over to the fillies cabin, wondering when he was ever NOT okay. He knocked on the door and entered, not really liking that he was in a room full of fillies. He ignored them, and went over to Violet, who was nearby. Knight had NO idea what to say. [colour=#b22222]"Just so you know... I'm okay..." [/colour]He told her, still clueless to what he was talking about. [colour=#b22222]"So... Yeah..." [/colour]He backed away towards the door awkwardly, then closed it and galloped back to the colts cabin. He entered, and saw Slick again. [colour=#b22222]"So... I told her... Was there something I missed while I was sleeping? What had her worried exactly?"[/colour]

    Lightning Dust agreed with Marble, and gave him a kiss. She seemed eager to go then. While Marble was a bit startled at first, he nodded and flew up with her. They hadn't ordered anything thankfully, so no worries about paying. Marble took the lead, and flew off to the academy. After a few minutes of flying, he landed at the runway. Some of the ponies there almost didn't recognize him without his Wonderbolt uniform. He heard Spitfire shouting in the distance, and silently flew off to find the source. He then found Flashbomb in front of a group of cadets, in his uniform and his mask. It seemed like he was about to be speaking with all of them. Marble lay on a nearby cloud, waiting to greet him as soon as he was finished with whatever he was doing.

    Lightning Dust didn't seem to mind him being late. After sighing with relief, they began their normal small talk. She mentioned the mentor system that Spitfire recently put in place. [colour=#ff0000]"Yeah, I've heard that. It definitely sounds... Interesting." [/colour]He told her, not sure of another way to explain it. [colour=#ff0000]"Speaking of Spitfire, I wonder how everypony else is doing. I haven't seen Flash in a while..." [/colour]He spaced out for a moment, remembering the last time he saw him, before returning abruptly to reality. [colour=#ff0000]"We really oughta' go back to the academy sometime. Say hi to everypony, and maybe see some of the new cadets."[/colour]

    Marble's eyes began opening. He had slept in again. After all, it wasn't winter, so he had no snow to make, and as he was part of the media team, he usually got to work his own hours. He jumped from his bed, feeling well rested. He laughed as he remembered his days at the academy where he NEVER got a restful sleep. It felt awfully nostalgic, looking at the picture of him with all his friends in their Wonderbolts uniform after they graduated. He looked up at his calendar and remembered the day, then checked his clock. [colour=#ff0000]"Oh no! I'm late! For a very important date!" [/colour]He rushed over to his closet, and began looking through the little amount of actual clothing that was in it. His Wonderbolt uniform hung rather casually amongst the tie and shoes. Having nothing else, he grabbed the single, black tie, and began confusingly tying it around his neck. His rush made it tangle around his hooves and neck. [colour=#ff0000]"Okay... Let's do this slowly..." [/colour]After a few minutes of fidgeting about, he found himself untangled, and slowly tied it up around his neck. Only to realize he forgot the collar. He facepalmed again, took it off, put his collar on, then repeated the process. He looked over to the clock, and rushed out of his house, but not before grabbing a bag of bits. He arrived at a small cafe, and ran about quickly, until he found a table, with the beautiful mare that he was seeing for the past 4 months. [colour=#ff0000]​"S-sorry Lightning! Hectic morning." [/colour]He told her as he sat down. [colour=#ff0000]"Or I guess afternoon. I slept in again." [/colour]After dating her for so long, he was becoming much more confident with the relationship. But he still took it slowly, as they kept it to nuzzling and sometimes kissing. [colour=#ff0000]"So four months... Is this some kind of milestone?"[/colour] (Marble's so cute when he's in a rush X3)

    Showboat was thankful that Big Mac was being much more assertive. Leif was also insistent though, and Showboat knew he'd be no help. [colour=#0000cd]"W-well... Let's go then!" [/colour]He said, giving a fake smile to suppress his nervousness with the situation. [colour=#0000cd]"Just... Tell us if you're feeling lightheaded, or need a moment to rest or anything."[/colour]

    Leif slammed open the door after he closed it. Showboat jumped up, but quickly calmed himself down. [colour=#0000cd]"I-I don't know Leif..." [/colour]He didn't want to tell her no. He wanted very badly to tell her to go back and rest, but he always had troubles with things like this. [colour=#0000cd]"Sh-shouldn't you rest up a bit? I-I guess if you feel fine..."[/colour]

    After showing that she could walk in a straight line, it seemed everypony was ready to go. [colour=#0000cd]"Okay. I believe we were going to see Octavia?" [/colour]He asked them on their way out. [colour=#0000cd]"Bye Leif!" [/colour]He called, closing the door behind them.

    Leif gave a sarcastic response, with more of her gibberish, though she at least knew her name. Showboat sighed with relief. [colour=#0000cd]"Well... It's not TOO bad, at least." [/colour]Showboat told them, as he stepped away. [colour=#0000cd]"She'll most definitely need lots of rest though. That's as much as I know." [/colour]Showboat then remembered their original plans. [colour=#0000cd]"Leif, is it okay if we leave you alone for a while? We have things to do... Right?" [/colour]He nudged Big Mac to get some support from him.

    Leif said some gibberish that Show couldn't make out (lol he doesn't know Spanish). She focused on his hoof, but didn't seem to be able to answer. [colour=#0000cd]"She may need to stay here a while. I think that train wracked around her brain a bit too much." [/colour]Show told Delilah and Big Mac. He turned back to Leif. [colour=#0000cd]"Do you know your name at least?"[/colour]

    Somepony bumped into Knight! He was bugged at first, until he saw that it was conveniently Slick! He gave him another brohoof, as Slick began telling him about his day. Knight as only half paying attention, as he was talking about some filly he was into. Not to say he wasn't happy for Slick, but fillies still bugged him. [colour=#b22222]"Um... Good job?" [/colour]He said to him, confused as to how to respond. Slick then seemed eager to introduce himself to Bomb. That reminded him of their original goal. [colour=#b22222]"Oh yeah! So, you know how I totally saved him? He's buying ice cream for us! Totally awesome!" [/colour]He gave Bomb an eager brohoof then. He saw some of the other ponies seemingly returning to their cabins. It made sense. The sun WAS setting, after all, and they were suppose to be resting at that point. [colour=#b22222]"Maybe tomorrow, I'm still kinda' sleepy." [/colour]He gave a loud yawn, and walked off to the colts cabin.

    Leif's eyes eventually began opening slowly, as Showboat started stirring from his daydreams. She appeared dazed, though it was completely understandable. [colour=#0000cd]"You were out for... I don't know, an hour? I don't have a watch." [/colour]He tried telling her, with slight notes of snarkiness in his voice. [colour=#0000cd]"You okay? How many hooves am I hold up?" [/colour]He lifted up a single hoof in front of her.

    (Sure! Not much else we can do really.) The group sat around rather silently as they waited for Leif to at least begin stirring. Showboat didn't want the guilty feeling of abandoning somepony, though was letting his mind wander to thoughts about what he'd do once he got out. He at least wanted to ask Leif if she was alright before he'd leave.

    Bomb offered to buy Knight ice cream as a thank you for saving him. [colour=#b22222]"That would be SO awesome!" [/colour]Knight agreed, jumping with joy. [colour=#b22222]"Slick will be pretty happy! Where is he?" [/colour]He raised a hoof and looked around the beach. [colour=#b22222]"Keep your eyes on the skies, he's probably hanging from a cloud." [/colour]Knight joked, remembering Slick's funny habits.

    Lightning Dust was called up for her award. Marble wasn't surprised that she won one, after all, she was an amazing cadet. He was still slightly stunned that he himself won something, though felt slightly guilty for avoiding his speech. Lightning Dust gave out her thanks, and when she returned, she nuzzled Marble, making him blush even more. He was still frozen in his spot from his nervousness, despite his part being over. Flashbomb then won the award for being the strongest, and once again, Marble wasn't surprised. After the awards were finished, they began giving out positions. Marble fluttered his wings in excitement when he was assigned to the media team, though was a bit disappointed that he didn't share a squad with Lightning Dust. After everypony was given out their positions, Marble decided not to give a speech, but to at least tell his friends what was on his mind. [colour=#ff0000]"H-hey guys..." [/colour]He began, calling their attention. [colour=#ff0000]"I-I just want to say thank you... You may not realize it, but you were all really helpful. You've helped me see that... I-I don't need to hide or be ashamed of my emotions... A-and that's really something I needed to understand..." [/colour]He turned back to Lightning Dust. [colour=#ff0000]"And uh... Th-thanks for understanding." [/colour]He didn't quite want to elaborate on that, but he believed she knew what he was talking about. He ended it by nuzzling her nervously.

    Lyria walked up to accept her honors. She gave a speech, and thanked everypony. Naturally, Marble managed to blush through his coat when she spoke with him. He then realized what she said. "[colour=#800080]Marble, your a good friend too, and I hope you and Lightning Dust will always be happy together." "always be happy together." [/colour]Marble blushed even more as he looked over at his younger brother in the audience, who was giggling childishly and giving him a look. [colour=#ff0000]I guess that's one way to tell him. [/colour]Angel continued his speech. Marble didn't notice nor believe that Angel had called him up for the Most Loyal! When he saw nopony else walk up, he finally believed that it must have been him. He stepped up slowly, and slightly shakily as he continued trying to pretend the audience didn't exist. Angel handed down the scroll with his award in it. Marble was hesitant at first. Was he suppose to say something? Give a speech like Lyria? Or just take it and go back? [colour=#ff0000]"Er..." [/colour]He was frozen on the spot for a moment before coming up with what to do. [colour=#ff0000]"Thank you." [/colour]He said, as he took the scroll and quickly trotted back to his place by Lightning Dust.

    After being told he got extra points, Knight went under the impression that he won the contest. He laughed at Bomb's joke about time flying when drowning. [colour=#b22222]"I thought they were all swimming." [/colour]He took a look over to the sea. [colour=#b22222]"Still looks like they're swimming. I don't really wanna' swim though, I don't think it's a good idea after I fell asleep under water." [/colour]

    Bomb explained a bit about Cloudsdale. It sounded cool, until Bomb mentioned that anypony who wasn't a pegasus would just fall. [colour=#b22222]"Darn. Would have been awesome to see your place." [/colour]He said, with notes of disappointment in his voice. [colour=#b22222]"Aw well! Could be worse. I grew up mostly in Ponyville, but I originally came from Canterlot... I don't really wanna' talk about that though." [/colour]His voice was letting out some sadness and shame when mentioning Canterlot. He then remembered something else. [colour=#b22222]"Oh yeah, so do I win the diving competition? I fell asleep before I could read my depth, but I think I should get a few extra points for saving your life."[/colour]

    Rainbow Dash and the other Wonderbolts announced that it was time for their celebration. Marble began getting slightly nervous, though was able to hide it like he usually did. He followed the others as they shuffled out the building to a the stage. Outside, there was a large crowd of ponies cheering for them all. Marble hesitated in leaving. There were A LOT of ponies out there! He hated being in even a small group of ponies he didn't know! How was he suppose to be out in that crowd? He cleared his throat again as he turned his face back to stoic mode. He closed his eyes so he wouldn't have to look at the crowd, though it only managed to make their cheering louder. He eventually bumped into Flashbomb, and saw that they all stopped. He turned to face the crowd. He was getting REALLY nervous. He tried finding something to help calm himself down. In the middle of the crowd, he saw a pair of chocolate brown eyes on a blue unicorn. He felt slightly comforted that his brother was there, though it didn't help much. He then saw Lightning Dust next to him. He took a step closer to her. Her presence was most definitely what was keeping him from flying off, as he began calming down, focusing on acting like it was just him, Lightning Dust, and his little brother in the audience. Angel was the announcer it seemed, as he started the ceremony off with a short introduction, then began handing out the honors, starting with Lyria as the fastest flyer. [colour=#ff0000]It seems I owe Flash a few bits.[/colour]

    Flashbomb explained that it was actually rather tough to fly, though he was use to it. He then asked what it was like being a unicorn. [colour=#b22222]"It's pretty cool! I only really know how to float things though, and even that can be tough. My dad just REALLY pushed me in learning magic. I don't know how I could do anything if it weren't for my horn." [/colour]He told Flash, with slight amounts of gloating. [colour=#b22222]"So, are you from Cloudsdale? I heard that's where most pegasuses come from."[/colour]

    Bomb agreed with Knight's opinion on awesome things. [colour=#b22222]"So, what's it like being a pegasus?" [/colour]Knight asked him. [colour=#b22222]"Being able to fly must be so awesome! Plus, it opens up so many doors for possible cutie marks!" [/colour]Knight remembered that he was attempting to get his cutie mark. [colour=#b22222]Oooo, I wonder what I should try next![/colour]

    Flashbomb reminded Marble of what happened. [colour=#ff0000]"Oh... Right..." [/colour]He blushed again, though this time didn't faint. After having several more pancakes in 10 seconds flat, Marble burped loudly with satisfaction. [colour=#ff0000]"I guess that means I'm done." [/colour]He said, as he lay back to relax.

    Marble laughed at Flash's fear of spiders. Then Lightning Dust gave a quick kiss on his cheek. His coat immediately turned a darker red, as he fell over frozen. He twitched for a few moments, before getting up again. [colour=#ff0000]"What just happened?" [/colour]He asked, rubbing his head where he hit the ground.
