Bleh indeed.

When EA first came around, they wanted to make their programmers household names..So when you purchased one of their games, they came in album type boxes with big photos of the head programmers in the box. Now they just exist to purchase my favorite companies and ruin them.

I normally don't drink pepsi, but after seeing pepsi man I had the overwhelming urge to buy some. Help! I'm under his spell!

Oh, and world domination through emotional manipulation.

I don't know man. Anyone who interacts with the world through animated teddy bear avatar immediately gets negative style points in my book...

Who's interacting through a teddy bear? I control myself, and hey, the person who created me did manage to make the world kill each other, and worship her, and I don't know about you but all that death and hopelessness turns me on.

Not sure if anyone else does this, but I have text file after text file on my HD on little details on each of my characters....What their favorite foods are...who they dated in HS....Or that Fire Walker has a cousin named Dog Walker. Hmm. Wonder what he does for a living?

omg this is my biggest problem, too!

I get carried away, and start writing a full on fanfic in the bio/backstory/history section of character apps. I have to stop myself and say "Hey. nobody cares that much about your OC. just keep it brief" lol

Well yeah. Also, remember Dungeon Keeper? Or Sim City? Or how they Killed Ultima?

I mean after the last and all the previous years the bar for the company was steadily and confidently sinking in the mud.

Which I guess equalizes them in 'Screw Up' department with Uwe Boll and FIFA executives.

Of course EA being EA, they had to defy the expectations and aforementioned bar is now beneath

the lithosphere. Next things, we will hear is them merging with Konami and...OH JEEEZ I CAN"T GO ON!

Of course they keep going still anyway, because after rolling in the turds for so long it doesn't matter if it's fresh or not, you reek regardless!

And also killed Origin....Bullfrog...Maxis...Bioware...Popcap...Westwood..Pretty much every video game company I've loved, they have purchased and sucked the life out of them before shuttering them...And while some of those guys exist in name...They're basically dead.
