  1. I'll be gone for a little bit...I've been unexpectedly out of town the past week or so, and now I have way too much homework to catch up on. I'll be back...sometime.
  2. Alright, I finished the last few tweaks and I think it's good now...
  3. Alright, cool. (: I'll fix that up then, hooray!
  4. Thank you! And I added an extra bit about her troupe. (:
  5. Okay, it's finally finished! x3 Took long enough...
  6. Yes! (: I haven't posted anything yet, because it's still not quite finished, but I've got the all kinks ironed out, for the most part.
  7. That's what I was thinking. It just makes sense! More sense than Vinyl and Octavia.
  8. I was definitely expecting lots of comedy as the story progresses. (: The prologue and first chapter are up here.
  9. Beginning the first chapter of my PinkieScratch fic~! x3

  10. Willow turned back to Candy and the rest of the group just in time to see the Professor Clyde Krashkop rolling to a stop at Candy’s feet. He tilted his armored head slightly, resisting the urge to crack a grin at the elderly pegasus’s slightly less than competent appearance. Though he was sure the professor would be a wonderful addition to their team, Will now hoped more than ever that ‘Tiny’ wouldn’t escape or decide to go mental on them. They would already have a Manticore on the loose; the last thing they would need is an old pony getting in the way and being eaten. Finally allowing the smile he had been holding back to spread over his face, Willow dipped his head towards Candy. “It’s nice to meet you Professor Krashkop.” A giggle escaped, unbidden, from his lips. “And yes, you may call me Will.” The pegasus’s ears perked up suddenly as they picked up on the faintest hint of thunder out in the distance. His smile slowly faded and he bit his lip, glancing around at all the other ponies around him. “Erm… Shall we go then? Though I don’t think the rain will be here any time soon, I would prefer to not take any chances at getting wet…” Will loved the rain, but there was nothing more annoying than getting itches under his armor, and little crawling drops of water, he knew, were sure to annoy him partially to death. He trotted a few more steps toward the Orca, impatient to see this mysterious Tiny, as he had never seen a Manticore in person before.
  11. Huh. I never thought of that. I'm usually not one for...more introspective stories unless they're just one shots, but this would be a good way to practice that, now that I think about it. Hm.
  12. Well, I have an idea I've been toying with for awhile...but I've been kind of putting it off because I don't know how it would go, and it doesn't seem very realistic. It's basically Pinkie Pie and Vinyl Scratch. Maybe a little shipping, I dunno, but the main plot was gonna be something like Scratchie comes to Ponyville and plays a show and Pinkie comes (obviously) and turns out to be an awesome dancer and Scratch wants Pinkie to travel with her and dance for her shows. (That was a horrid run-on, I'm sorry.) I was gonna have them go to Canterlot and do...stuff that I haven't thought out yet, but it's not really that detailed yet. The problems I'm having is that I don't think Pinkie would just abandon her friends to go dancing with somepony she doesn't know very well, and I'm just not sure how the whole thing would work out. I would really love to do something PinkieScratch, but...well yeah, anypony have any thoughts? Ideas? Anything would be awesome~
  13. Well, the part with Rarity crying and everything was the same, but it was Twilight who came to make her feel better. I got...maybe two chapters, but hated it and deleted everything up to a few paragraphs into the first chapter and rewriting it completely.
  14. Rarity, rare...? I thought it was funny... I love them! They're the only two figures that I have too. (: I never really thought of them being together either, until I started writing this. Believe it or not, it started out as a Rarity/Twilight fic. I had to delete a bunch and start over 'cause I didn't like it and ended up with this.
  15. Hurrhurr 'rare'. ... ...Punny. I have to sometimes. But yeah, it is rather scarce these days. Rarity and Rainbow Dash are my two favorite Mane 6, so I just had to do a fanfic with them!
  16. Erm, not at all. I'm still writing stuff out on my computer, so it's no where near finished, as it says in my comments at the bottom. (:
  17. Thinking always gets me all confused. xD Probably why I suck at school papers... >___>
  18. Hmm...well, maybe I'll have her come back early or something. I don't really think too terribly far ahead when I write, which is probably not good, but it serves me well enough. I'll probably do quite a bit of planning before I continue, 'cause I need to get some stuff worked out. (:
  19. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Spectrum Star Nicknames: Spectrum, Spec, Star, Starry Sex: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Earth Pony Eye Color: Light Violet Coat Color: White Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Mane: Neon pink, yellow, green, blue and purple ((every color of the rainbow EXCEPT orange)) kind of bun...thing... ((Check the reference pictures, it's hard to describe. Tail: Same colors as mane, kind of wavy and always kind of messy and put up in a...'pony tail'...always held with the same band. Physique: Taller than usual and thin, with lean muscle Cutie Mark: Pink, green and blue 'rainbow' with a golden-yellow four-pointed star over the middle. Origin/Residence: Grew up in and around Fillydelphia and the Saddleveil plains. Now has a permanent residence in Canterlot, but travels quite a lot. Occupation: Traveling in a troupe as an acrobat/performer. Motivation: To entertain and excite her audiences. There's nothing she enjoys more than seeing other ponies awestruck by her acts. Likes: Cool weather, thunderstorms, music of almost any type, performing, chatting with random ponies, calm conversation over hot chocolate, bright colors Dislikes: Stupid ponies, annoying ponies, failing at anything, especially her acts Character Summary: Spectrum is generally calm, cool and collected. She always appears sweet and polite, and is very good at keeping her emotions in check. Her demeanor is one of elegance and sophistication, and she only really lets herself go when she's performing. Her lithe body and long limbs have helped transform her into an accomplished acrobat. She's a little OCD, and always has to have things clean and organized. Bad or unfamiliar smells get on her nerves, and her house in Canterlot is pretty much immaculate. Though quite smart, she never finished school because her parents took her to join a troupe of traveling performers. She can't read very well and hates to write, but she's quite good at solving real-world problems. Background: When her parents decided to leave Fillydelphia with Spectrum in tow, the filly learned to love the traveling lifestyle. Her parents left the troupe within a few years, but Spectrum refused to go with them, deciding instead to stay with the troupe and further her career as an acrobat. She has since gotten a few offers to leave the troupe and perform elsewhere, but she always refuses; nopony knows if it's because she loves her troupe, or because she's waiting for a better offer. She has some communication with her parents now, but hasn't seen then since they left her with the troupe. Spec's Cutie Mark- Spectrum got her Cutie Mark only a few months after moving in with the troupe. She had begged for weeks to try some of the trapezes and other equipment, but hadn't been allowed to because she was too small. Eventually, she decided to ignore her parents and older troupe members and tried by herself. Though she had no idea what she was doing and broke her leg falling off a trapeze, she loved the experience of ponies watching her (whether screaming at her to get down or not) and knew she was destined to be a performer. The star stands for her love of performing in front of an audience and being a 'star'; the rainbow represents her calm, kind, graceful personality and her love of making others happy. Spec's Outfit and Hair- Though she has often been complimented on her beautiful white coat, Spectrum loves colors too much to resist the gaudy troupe outfits. She always wears her 'boots' and corset when performing, and a lot of the time she isn't as well. She got the tattoos under her eyes and her ears were pierced the day after her parents left the troupe, and show that she is a member of the traveling lifestyle. No pony really knows why Spectrum's mane and tail are such bright colors; her parents assumed that their ancestors must have passed it down, because they couldn't remember anyone in their family with hair as outrageous as Spec's. Spec's Performing- Spectrum is the acrobatic part of a several pony performing troupe. It's basically a circus, and Spectrum is the one that flies around on trapezes and does gymnastics and stuff. Her's is the biggest part of the show, as she is swinging around most of the time as the other acts below her are going on. Some other acts include clowns and other comedy, daring stunts, exotic dancing and firebreathing, and other classic traveling carnival type acts. ~~~~~~~ Alright! Finally finished and ready for feedback and review. (:
  20. Ahh... Going to fast and complex sentence structure are always what people jump on me for first. Some people love my style, and others think it's too wordy. There was a little debate on FiMFiction about that... Maybe I'll go through and do some sentence trimming. Added a link to FiMFiction, that was a good idea. Thanks for reading~ And there's no Applejack because I wanted to get to just Rarity and Rainbow Dash as quickly as possible, and Applejack would just be somepony else to get rid of somehow.
  21. Finally! Chapter four is short, but it took almost a month. I couldn't think of a way for Pinkie to go away...but I found one. (: Still looking for any feedback! o3o
  22. Willow listened carefully to Swift’s second little speech, resisting the urge to butt in here and there. Though he was still a little skeptical about some of the unicorn’s supposed facts, his mindset was better to be safe than sorry, and sky pirates were something he would much rather be safe about. After all, Swift seemed extremely confident and competent and his reasoning was sound, so there was no reason not to trust his judgment. Looking over at the other pegasi as Wild began to speak, Will saw Candy touching her wing and his brows immediately furrowed. It was obvious what had happened; somepony as proficient as herself would not be so skittish about griffons unless there was some very specific reason. The marks on her wing were clearly carved there by talons, creating a nasty scar and mental trauma just as debilitating as the wound itself. Will couldn’t imagine having his wing mutilated like that…it would be ages before he could fly, and that would be awful. Resolving not to ask the mare about the incident to avoid causing her discomfort, Will pushed his curiosity to the back of his mind and focused on Candy’s words, waiting until she had apparently finished before talking quietly. “I’m guessing ‘Tiny’ is the Manticore? That seems to be a…fitting name.” Will chuckled softly, a smile twitching the corners of his lips. “I would love to see him; I think non-pony creatures are quite fascinating.” He glanced at the other ponies around him, hoping he wasn’t making himself look like an idiot in front of all of them. A sudden strong breeze ruffled his wings and he looked up, a shadow flitting across his features. Large thunderheads, which had seemingly sprung up out of nowhere, were perched on the horizon, hovering ominously over the land. “But we'd better hurry. It looks like rain, though I didn’t think we were supposed to have any today…” Slightly puzzled, Willow took a few steps closer to the airship before looking back at the others once again, waiting for some sign that his idea was a good one in the form of a guide or agreeing word.
  23. Willow lightened up a little as he saw Dunder embrace the unicorn, but his stance remained at attention as he listened to the stallion’s speech. Though there were several well-made points, it seemed to Will that the unicorn was overreacting quite a bit. Sky pirates? Though he knew they existed, it was extremely rare to see them over the Everfree forest. Will had patrolled the skies above the forest many times, and had never gotten so much as a glimpse of a pirate vessel. He glanced over at Candy and opened his mouth for the first time in awhile. His voice was quiet and relaxed, quite the opposite of his body language. “I would have to agree with Dunder here. I’ve flown above and around the Everfree quite a lot, and have never had any trouble with pirates or large storms. I’m sure everything will go fine, though I don’t think any of us would turn down extra supplies and help.” He dipped his head in the unicorn’s direction, trying to recall if he had heard a name. “It’ll be good to have someone so qualified on the mission, considering Manticores’…dispositions. I’m Willow Wing, pleased to meet you.” A small smile lit up Will’s face, making the previous second’s serious manner vanish in the blink of an eye.
  24. - Will landed hard on a random street in Manehatten, panting slightly as he flapped his wings to cool himself down. There was no cloud cover that time of year, and the sun was blazingly hot on his dark coat, and the glinting from his armor, though it usually didn't bother him, got extremely annoying after hours of the little sparkling lights hitting his eyes. His saddlebags seemed much heavier than usual as well, and the straps were beginning to chafe his stomach and sides. Unsure of exactly what to do now that he was in the city, Willow began to walk around, using occasional breezes to dry the sweat all over his body. He got many strange looks, being clad in armor and saddlebags that were obviously designed for traveling. It was quite apparent that he wasn't from around Manehatten, and some ponies edged away from him as he passed. Though Will didn't consider himself intimidating or anything of the like, he understood why some ponies might think he was slightly scary; a strange pony in armor that had never been seen before wasn't always a cause for greeting. It did confuse the pegasus a little however, that these ponies weren't used to seeing unusual travelers like him. Putting these thoughts out of his head, Will began looking for somewhere to have some dinner, as it was getting close to evening. He didn't know his way around, and had no idea what kind of place to be looking for.
