Roleplay Type: Equestria "Mane" RP Name: Jade Blossom Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Unicorn Eye colour: Violet-Blue Coat: Jade Blossom's coat is a pure, shimmering, dark teal. She uses her knowledge of herbs to make special shampoos to keep that healthy gleam! She is usually wearing a tan vest full of pockets and a saddlebag, just in case she finds any useful plants while out and about! Mane/Tail: Jade Blossom's tail and mane is a mix of luscious grass greens and sea greens. Her mane is styled to be curly, and her tail kept in a braid as it is exceptionally long... but you know, it looks pretty good that way! Physique: Somewhat skinny, but not too skinny... healthy, to say the least. Also, just a tad short. This picture is temporary. I'll draw one soon, if it's ok! Residence: The city of Hoofington, where she has access to, with a bit of travel, the Whitetail Wood and the Gallopicus Islands, where she can find plants to study and some for medicines and such. Occupation: Herbalist. Cutie Mark: History: Jade blossom was born and raised in Manehatten. She was a late bloomer as far as cutie marks go, and it wasn't until she moved with her parents, Bloom and Quickshot, to Hoofington and went on a camping trip that things fell in place for her. She wanted to be a florist like her mother, but on the trip, Quickshot ran into a patch of poison ivy. Not wanting the trip to end so soon, she recalled a use for some of the flowers her her mother found that she had read about. Within hours of applying a crudely-made paste to the rash, the poison ivy no longer spread, and within seconds the rash didn't even itch anymore! And thus she learned what she was meant to do. The best part was that a lot of it consisted of using flowers, so any extra she had left could be used in arrangements! Jade Blossom has always gotten along with her parents, and was a relatively easy filly to handle, luckily for them. She had no brothers or sisters, and her relatively shy nature as a young one yielded few, but strong, friendships. Her family wasn't the richest, but they didn't live in poverty either. Now days, Jade Blossom has overcome her shyness and is actually quite outgoing, living off of medicines and other things that she makes with herbs. Ask about her shampoos... they really make the mane, tail and coat not only look healthy, but make them soft as can be! One day, she hopes to become well-known for such things! Character Summary: Being an herbalist, especially one who makes herbal remedies to most any common ailment under the sun, she hates seeing others who are sick or in pain. Luckily, she can usually help. Unluckily, she tends to be too nice, often not charging enough or nothing for these services and products if she sees someone in need. Also due to her herbalism, she has a fondness of plants and flowers of most sorts, especially ones that smell great! Other then her main talent, she loves to make floral arrangements, and enjoys making cards for various occasions. On the other hand, she finds herself unable to sing very well, her singing voice being less then average. She's also somewhat of a doormat, but push her really hard and she'll realize she's being used and will speak her mind about it. Somewhat outgoing. especially compared to when she was a filly, she loves making friends. She finds herself fitting into many different social groups. However, in the event she's invited to two places at the same time by different ponies, it'll be very difficult to tell one of the other no. Outside the social scene, she is still full of anxiety over many things, especially insects and being bitten by them. She doesn't mind things like butterflies and caterpillars, or even moths, but things like spiders, beetles (lady beetles excluded), bees, wasps, and other small things. Oddly enough, not included in the fear of spiders are tarantulas, as she can see what it's going to do, and drop it in time for her not to get bitten. She actually wants to own one, relating them to "small, eight legged kittens". Another fear of hers is heights, and yet another are large, untamed beasts like one might find in the Everfree Forest, though she has never been there herself. Mantacores are a good example of this.
