Clive Barker's Undying is still my favorite horror game. Creepy atmosphere along with the right music/sounds do it for me all the time.

Maybe a canon version of the Griffin Kingdom. I wouldn't want it to be a tribal order living in caves but something medieval in nature.

Sounds like the premise for an awesome Stephen King novel.
