I'm gonna break with tradition by getting in on this one on time... I'm definitely up for another drawing, and a line too if that's allowed.

I should have done this months ago, and it's coming up to New Year, so this seems an ideal time to stop procrastinating and actually do stuff. So, here it is; BrainedBySaucepans' Clinic of Dilettantism! The rules are simple, make a request and I'll draw it. Well, it's slightly more complex than that, but not too much. Here's the basics: 1. Make your request as detailed as possible My psychic powers only work on a specific type of honey bee and certain brands of furniture, so if you want something included in the picture, be specific. It helps if you include reference images of any OCs, and if you have a specific pose in mind, post a pic of something close to it. If you want to give me free reign on how I draw something, that's fine with me, but don't be surprised if you're surprised by the surprise of a surprising interpretation of your request. 2. More ponies = more time = lower priority = even more time Feel free to make your requests as elaborate as you want, but be aware that this will take longer, and as such I may well choose to focus more on the easier requests. This does mean that I'll have more time to think about how best to complete your request, so it may well end up better than if I'd just focused on it, but no guarantees. 3. One request per person Please wait for me to finish your current request before asking for another one. Pretty self explanatory I hope. 4. Requests will be uploaded to my gallery I will sign and date all requests, and I reserve the right to use them elsewhere to showcase my work. I will make sure to credit the owner of all OCs depicted wherever I use them. The person making the request is free to use their piece wherever they wish, as long as they credit me as artist and make no alterations without my permission. 5. My To Do list has 6 slots Why 6? Hi all! As some of you may know, I'm one of the hosts for the Canterlot Voice podcast (the unofficial podcast of canterlot.com). Recently, we've been putting more RP related content into our show, but we've hit upon a slight stumbling block, in that while we love talking about ongoing RPs, the RP section is a pretty big place, and not all of us are as involved in the RP section as we could be. That's where you come in. We're looking for two things at the moment; established threads with a high standard of roleplaying, and new threads that have a lot of potential but are still easy enough for people to jump into without reading through pages and pages of what's happened already. So, this is an opportunity for you to get some exposure for your thread, whether you want to let everyone know about a great new RP you've just started (or are planning to start), or showcase your own (or others') excellent writing, let us know here! We'll go through the thread and if we like it, let all our listeners know that this is one to watch. Also, we're still fairly new to this whole podcasting business, so we really appreciate all the feedback we get, whether you love the show or think you know how we can improve it. I really picked the wrong time to go for a pony detox, looks like I missed out on taking part in this one. You'd better already be planning #7 Mr Havok.... can't wait to see how this one turns out.

Right, my hiatus/inactivity from Canterlot has just been extended indefinitely, this time for personal reasons. Basically, there have been some massive MLP related issues with my LARP group (don't ask), and it's really coloured my view of the show and the brony community as a whole. This has nothing to do with any of the friends I've made here; you're all wonderful people and I'd love to continue to interact with all of you outside the context of the fandom, but when I sat down to watch the latest episode, all I could think about was the ongoing drama, and I had to turn it off within a minute. My plan as of now is to take a week-long pony detox, avoiding anything to do with the show. Then I'll sit down, watch an episode and see how I feel. I expect I'll be back to my usual lurking here at that point, but if not, I wish you all the best. This forum has been directly responsible for reigniting my artistic spark, for which I expect I shall be eternally grateful, so I'm really hoping this will all blow over. If not, my best wishes go out to everyone I've every interacted with in this fantastic community, you made me feel like I fit in, a previously unheard of feat. I really hope I won't have to miss this place. All my love, Saucy P.S. - I'm immensely proud that my face (plus various hats) is officially the 14th best thing on Canterlot since records began. No one can ever take that away from me.

You like weird and random stuff? I once had a three hour conversation about a crab with the tongue of a kitten. We decided to call him Citizen Snips, and he lead a movement to recognize Cornwall as a separate country, which we all agreed was a terrible idea. We still haven't forgiven him. I should stress that no illegal substances were involved, this is just the kind of discussion me and my friends have all the time...

So, I've started up a little mining/build project far enough away to be out of people's way, but close enough to be sociable... and now the server's down. Either that or my computer's derped.

That's pretty darn awesome. Consider me thoroughly impressed.

This seems to be how regular ponies socialise, and the novelty of having friends outside academia may be worth cultivating...[/colour] So thinking, Ashen put on one of his less tattered suits and followed the directions he had been given. He was starting to feel more than a little apprehensive; for years, the closest thing to a party he'd attended had been the launch of a new book, or perhaps a welcoming dinner for a new member of the faculty. He'd come to dread such occasions as dreary and full of the insufferable and self-important who seemed to make up Canterlot high society, along with the bores who held tenure at the University. [colour=#008080]Well, considering those frightful functions this has to be an improvement, whatever it may be.[/colour] His spirits so buoyed, he fixed a grin to his face and approached the door of Midnight's house. He had just raised a hoof to knock when a frightful crash sounded from inside, as if a hole had just been knocked in one of the walls. Professor Smirk hesitated, considering turning and leaving there and then, before swiftly knocking hard twice on the door so as to avoid changing his mind. This had the unintended side effect of significantly denting the woodwork, and Ashen could only stand stunned at his own accidental vandalism, the ever-present grimace on his face becoming even more fixed. Right, planning for my next LARP event has kicked into overdrive, so it looks like I'll have very limited time for Canterlot for the next couple of weeks. Expect me back as a regular on 3rd December.
