    Official characters and Anime Expo

I draw the mane cast too, you know! I mostly draw them for Anime Expo and other such conventions.
  2. sarcatsic

    Commissions!

Stuff I draw for other people! For those interested and who have Paypal, I usually charge $15 for two characters and a simple background! ^^

    OCs and Gift art

I draw stuff for people when I can, and also featuring my original characters! Both ones with and without a profile.
  4. She'll be in the next batch. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!
  5. Yea this is pretty much exactly how they wanted it. I wanted it draped to one side, but they wanted it more like how the reference was, but the reference only had like... one side half the length of the other and that just didn't make sense xD As for the makeup, it was based off a google image. It was weird, but looked cool to me, so I went with it. I don't know if she's supposed to be based off anyone important, but she is supposed to be Egyptian-ish (my original idea for her was much more Egyptian-y, and less like someone trying to dress Egyptian-y xD)

    ponyland

It's not a good show, if that's what you're wondering.
  7. It is, that's also what's on her country's flag. Why that is, I don't know, but it's a question better suited to the commissioner LOL
  8. Thanks hahaha, I learn from the best (FiM)
  9. LOL her cutie mark is actually her country's flag, but it's not shown in the picture.
  10. Whatnot didn't see any reason not to try something new. The local potter Fire Clay was nice enough to give her lessons on pot making, so he trained her for a couple weeks. Whatnot was just starting to get used to the pottery wheel, using her hoof to spin the table, and her magic to slowly shape the clay into a form that looked alright. Fire Clay asked her to watch the shop for a moment while he went to deliver a particularly large pot on a cart. He was taking it to Canterlot Castle, for Princess Luna, who loved his work enough to make it a part of her home. The blue unicorn was perfectly content multitasking, keeping an eye on things while she spun away on the wheel. But then something distracted her and the clay ended up flying off the edge and right into her face, making a loud, thick, splatter noise. "AHH ponyfeathers!" she cursed, scrambling around carefully to find a towel, or a fountain to wash up in. She tried very hard to use her instincts to direct her away from the pottery shop. It would be fine for the moment alone. It would be better than her tripping through the store in hopes of not breaking anything. Her ears detected the sound of Main Street's fountain, the one that had a large swirly stallion statue in the center. She fumbled around for the stone, flopped over the edge, and dunk her face into the cool water. She splashed around a bit to get the clay off, that had begun to dry before she made it there. She reared her head up, gasping for air, making a big "Brrrrrr!" as she shook her head of water. (whatnot profile: http://www.canterlot.com/topic/411-whatnot/ )
  11. Twilight Sparkle / Pinkie Pie: I mean think about it, I think Twilight is around Pinkie Pie more out of ANYONE. They gotta have SOMETHING going on. Provoked my Pinkie Pie of course. Applejack / Pinkie Pie: I admit, I pretty much just ship these two because my bestie and I cosplay as them, and quite adorably I might add. Rarity / Fluttershy: They're together alot. They always go to the spa together, They're either drinking tea together, about to drink tea together, or inviting the other to drink tea. They respect each other a LOT. Rarity compliments Fluttershy on her grace and beauty, Fluttershy blushes more around Rarity than anyone. And is also more honest to her than anyone, which is saying A LOT. Rarity even treats her more gently than others as well. And after an episode like Green Isn't Your Color, if that scenario happens to two best friends, it makes their friendship even stronger. Big Mac / Cheerilee: I think that even after they were enchanted, the two saw something in the other that they really liked. Cheerilee is bold enough to even Big Mac out, and he's very supportive and well-mannered. Plus I like the idea of Big Mac NOT being shipped with a mane cast member xD Lyra / Bonbon: Of course. Rainbow Dash / Soarin' / Spitfire: A threeway relationship. It'd totally work. Spitfire flirts with Dash every chance she gets. And she loves it. Braeburn / Little Strongheart: C'mon Spike/Rarity fans, interspecies relationships is not THAT uncommon in this fandom. Snails / Sweetie Bell: An adorable little sweetheart of an outcast paired up with a lanky nerdy outcast. Is there anything more adorable? Pipsqueak / ANYONE: When he's older anyway. Thunder Land / Blossomforth: You don't think he'd feel bad getting her sick? ;D Octavia / Vinyl Scratch: I admit, I didn't like this one at first, but thanks to the fandom, I've actually come to like it. Two musical artists with completely different tastes and personality, and yet they make an amazing couple hahaha. Princess Celestia / Discord: Well, a relationship meant to be doomed. But love is pretty darn chaotic, there's no reason Discord wouldn't fall victim to the plague himself. Photo Finish / Sapphire Shores: And why isn't this more popular? Photographer/model relationships TOTALLY work.
  12. Well, you have to admit, Francis did warn you LOL And considering what the movie's about, it would hardly work as a kid's movie.
  13. LOOOOOVE those movies, dude. I don't really dig on what Rotten Tomatoes says, but they're at least okay to see what people think if you don't really care. But some of my favorite foreign movies outside of the US are: You Are Umasou: A Japanese movie based on a children's book of the same name. This is the only dinosaur movie I personally find good since The Land Before Time. It's about a young Tyrannosaurus, who was adopted by a mother Maiasaur and raised as a plant eater. He's lived most of his life malnourished, being able only to eat berries, that is until he discovers that he is a meat eater. For a child, this is beyond frightening, you can imagine. But later on, he himself adopts a young Ankylosaurus and names him Umasou, which is Japanese for "Delicious." The movie has a very simple style, similar to that of the books, but is animated incredibly well. Jungledryet Hugo and Hugo the Movie Star: A Danish film about an unusual animal who natives call Hugo. He's a mischievous bear/primate type of animal, very cunning and playful. Since he's the only animal of his kind, he gets abducted by humans. He escapes onto a banana boat and finds himself in the city, where he meets an equally spunky fox named Rita. It's a story about true friends and what lengths Rita goes through to make sure her best friend gets on the banana boat back to his homeland. Hugo the movie Star has a similar plot, but expands on their relationship, and shows how Hugo would really function in a forest. Again, movies with great fluid animation. I prefer the Danish version to the English version. The singing is better, and more scenes are left in silence and leaves a really big impact on the mood. Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild: A Korean movie about a hen who escapes her barnyard and lives in the wild. Well, it goes way deeper than that. She meets a duck warrior, wards off a fearsome one-eyed weasel, and adopts a duckling as her own. It sounds very simple, but this movie has a way of yanking at your heartstrings when they've just been tugged. It's a beautiful combination of 2D and 3D, with amazing characters, designs, acting, with stunning visuals. It hadn't been translated into English yet tho. Felidae: A German 2D animated movie, FOR ADULTS. I want to make that quite clear for those interested. It has a Disney-esque plot, about a cat named Francis who tries to solve a murder mystery. Sounds cute right? Yeah, about that. This movie is not cute. The first line in the story told by Francis himself is "I have a story to tell you, and it's not going to be pretty." And that's your fair warning. It's a frightening movie that hardly spoonfeeds it's audience, and really makes you think about more than the case our hero is trying to crack. I prefer the English version to the German version. Summer Wars: A Japanese film about a young boy who goes to meet his girlfriend's family during the summer. Being quite computer savvy, he solves a mysterious riddle he received through email, and that sets lose the Apocalypse of all viruses called Love Machine. In this world, everything is run by one company who goes by the name of Oz, and Love Machine brings fourth unfathomable chaos to the world. It deals with the scary concept of everything being digitally run, and important family issues that I think everyone should learn. It's animated by the same people who animated The Digimon Movie and has similar concepts, only directed towards a teen/adult audience. Since animated movies are my movies of choice, I only listed animated movies xD I recommend them to anyone tho. Well, I don't recommend cat lovers, or the easily disturbed folks to check out Felidae. I really don't.
