1. "The all-supreme Eggman has no need to mention any living organism other than himself when speaking of his great accomplishments! That includes pesky aliens who sided with annoying blue hedgehogs!"
2. Death Egg Robot Roleplay Type: Crossover Name: Doctor Eggman Sex: Male Age: Unknown Species: Human Physique / Hair: The awesome and magnificent Doctor Eggman is the very model of physical wonder and superiority! With his egg-shaped upper body, his sleek and slim legs support his frame while his equally slim arms work their supreme genius at the beck and call of his equally magnificent mind, positioned with its wild and wide, toothy grin beneath a glorious and well-groomed red moustache that grows from a long, dignified and pointed nose, upon which rest thick-rimmed spectacles that only a true master of science would wear. The top of his head sports a completely smooth and shiny, bald surface of reflective genius, as who needs hair when all it would do is weigh down the brilliant mind underneath it! Settled atop his bald head rest a pair of goggles, which are well-suited for activities involving the deployment of explosive substances, firing of laser arrays and most importantly, the piloting of fast-paced aircrafts in order to pursue pesky critters that would dare attempt to defy his brilliant plans! All this wrapped up in a set of black tights and a red overcoat! Is it any wonder that this scientific mastermind would rise to rule all? Didn't think so! Residence: As any genius would, the magnanimous and wonderful Doctor Eggman has many secret bases scattered around, including a carrier vessel and a magnificent moon base. All Eggman bases come with standard defense measures including robot minions, heat-seeking missiles and laser cannons. One can never be too safe, after all! Occupation: As would befit a man of his great and awe-inspiring intellect, the spectacular Doctor Eggman makes his living by ruling every last one of you through his powers as a scientific extraordinaire. History: Sometime after dropping out of teaching school (those people just didn't know how glorious he was, after all!) the awesome Doctor Eggman dedicated his life towards sharing his wisdom, genius and most of all his vision for the whole of the planet with the rest of the world. This included erecting magnificent structures in his likeness, creating robotic armies with which to regulate his future citizens and the building of factories with which to sustain the utopic Eggmanland which he dreamed of creating! That dream was then shattered when that foul blue hedgehog interfered, and interfered, and then continued to interfere at every turn with each and every one of his superb plans! Even when he sought the Chaos Emeralds on South Island, that horrid little hedgehog somehow managed to show up and mess the whole thing up! And then there was that time on the Miracle Planet, when even though he had managed to secure his rule across the Past, Present and Future, he was foiled yet again! And let's not forget how he wasn't even able to conquer the world by taking control of the aquatic God of Destruction, or the dark spirit of the planet itself. And then, most recently, there was his amusement park that was utterly destroyed even though he was on the verge of finally being victorious! What a horrible mess that blasted hedgehog would make of everything, every time! Yes, over and over, and through absolutely no fault of his own, the magnificent genius that was the great Doctor Eggman was foiled by the blue rodent and his clingy little sidekick, as well as the rest of his annoying party of pals. But that doesn't mean this time will be the same.. Oh no, not at all! A new place, one without any annoying speedy rodents to get in his way - yes, this would do perfectly. At long last, the Eggman Empire would find its place of justified and well-deserved rulership! And not a thing will stop it. Really, this time! Not a single thing! Character Summary: Naturally, the sensational Doctor Eggman is a pure genius, and that is all that one needs to know! With a superb genius IQ of 300, a knowledge of many magical myths, metaphysics, machinery and scientific invention, how could one not admire such a brave, fantastic, and not to mention handsome genius like him?! And that's all you will ever need to know! Now go away! "Well, that seems awful threadbare, don't you think?" "Yeah! It's like he didn' put any effert inta answerin' the question, like, at all!" "I'll say. Perhaps we should add our own take on the boss instead." "I reckon that's mighty smart indeed! So, uh, where d'we start?" "Hmm, perhaps we ought to talk about the boss' other qualities? He seems to have already talked enough about how smart he is, after all!" "Yeah, though s'more like braggin' out the ears if'n ya wanna be speakin' honestly." "True enough. The boss is pretty full of himself a lot of the time." "And bossy." "And he does get a bit overexcited a lot of the time." "Plus there's all that thar yellin' about Sonic." "Oh yes, how could we forget Sonic. Even though the boss loses to him all the time, he never calls it quits, does he?" "Nope! Although I reckon half the time it's the boss' own fault he loses." "Careful not to say that around the boss. He'll dismantle you for sure!" **WHAT'RE YOU TWO IMBECILES DOING, CHATTING AWAY LIKE THAT? DIDN'T I GIVE YOU CLEANUP DUTY?** "Yes, boss!"
3. Well, Word of Faust was that Luna and Celestia'd of had parents, at least, so who knows how that all worked out. Either way it still does feel like it heavily undermines the mystique of alicorns - especially when neither Twilight nor Cadance were intended to be alicorns (or at least Twilight wasn't meant to become one this early) in the original ideas Faust had. But hey, gotta push those gender stereotyping pieces of merchandise, so who cares about narrative cohesion.
4. Yeah, you're still stuck in the slums with me, SilverSwirl. lol Let's go back, eh?
5. The same one wherein the level five adventurer was granted demi-god rank simply for completing a 99.7% finished spell created by a level 20 mage, rather than actually create a new spell. Also, if the creating of an entirely new spell warrants ascendancy to demi-god rank, I can only assume that Starswirl the Bearded was already an alicorn, given he had created time travel, and 80+% of the magic used in Equestria. Similiarly, anyone who created the other 19% must of also achieved alicorn ranking. And if we're assuming that the storybooks aren't a total nonsensical canon-break, then you don't even need to succeed in creating a new form of magic, since Cadance became an alicorn through little more than stopping a single villain with the power of love - and not even creating a new form of magic in the process. So yeah. Level 5 adventurer tier = Alicorn rank
6. Not sure what's so impressive here. So you randomly singled out singular letters within the names to form one word that has nothing to do with the names, show or overall genre. Anyone can do that. Princess Celes(t)ia Princess L(u)na Rai(n)bow Dash Applej(a)ck Twilight (S)parkle R(a)rity F(l)uttershy Shining (A)rmor Princess Ca(d)ance
7. I think given that Hasbro has decided to suck all the mystique and grandeur out of alicorns by making them as easy to become as clearing a 5th level adventure campaign, then it's safe to say that alicorns are no longer 'level 20 mage' tier.
8. Not with some of the clingy girls I've seen.
9. Or! She's just really, really clingy and people are reading way too much into it. If you correlate this with another study, called Occam's Razor, then you'd find that this is far more likely. And more right. Seriously, diagnosing her as Schizophrenic because she's clingy and needy is basically like diagnosing a kid that's bored at school as having ADD. Oh wait, people already do that. Guess the fault lies with the poorly researched diagnostic studies.
10. What I took from that episode is that she's clingy and incapable of being by herself for longer than five minutes without throwing a fit. Sorta the same conclusion I derived from the Cranky Doodle episode.
11. Can't help but agree here. He didn't need to be redeemed since in the first place as he wasn't ever really that malevolent. I've always viewed him as the same as the character they heavily took from in forming him: Q from Star Trek. Q could be arrogant, haughty, self-absorbed and entirely out for his own amusement and entertainment, as well as a highly disruptive and chaotic force - but that never necessarily made him 'evil'. Same with Discord. I never viewed Discord as being 'evil'. Just a self-serving trickster. Heck, Discord could of easily served as a 'neutral' character, amusing himself but in the process providing the necessary conflict for the protagonists to learn new lessons in life by dealing with this adversity.
12. Welcome to the site. I imagine it's not hard to tell where my interests lie. lol
13. The hedgehog retracted his finger from his ear, blowing on it to rid the digit of any dirt that he'd cleaned out as he listened to the swordpony retell his adventures.. or would they rather be misadventures, given the manner in which he was telling the turn of events? His characteristic grin never lowering for even a moment, he simply nodded in acknowledgement that he was listening, briefly looking around at the road, and the skies for any signs of interest. It was certainly a quiet day, and while he could spot some of the ponies working the apple farm, the road itself seemed to be more or less void of anyone passing through at the present time. No doubt most were either soaking in the sun at home or busy in the town itself. Finally, the pony finished his tale, and turned the question back to him, which caused the blue speedster to shrug. "Eh, I've just been takin' it easy and seein' the sights. It's a pretty big world out there, so there's more than enough for me to explore," came the short and simple response - ever the adventurer and explorer, there wasn't much else to it. He had no need for money, usually, unless it scored him a bite to eat, and so therefore he didn't make a habit of part-time jobs and the likes. With a lazy stretch, the hedgehog flexed his legs and leaned down to touch his toes, "So what's your next big plan, anyway?"
14. The sound of a lazy 'hmm?' would roll down from the branch and to the swordpony's ears, signifying the rousal of the hedgehog up above. Lazily, he opened his eyes and began to stretch, releasing another yawn in the wake of his nap being disrupted, and then sat upright and scratched behind his ear with a gloved hand. Leaning over to look down below, the corners of the blue hedgehog's lips curled into a confident grin of amusement, as he called out, "Yo, Bowie! Long time no see!" and then swung his legs out around him, pushing off the branch and nimbly leapt off the branch, landing effortlessly in front of the pony with just the smallest bend of the knees and dusting himself once he stood upright afterwards and faced the sword-wielder. "Ain't seen ya since the teahouse! What's up?" he casually inquired, acting in that same old familiar fashion with his most recent friend as he did with any other friend he'd make. The way in which he said it conveyed an attitude that said it didn't matter if the time had passed between days or months, every meeting was a 'hello again!' as if they'd barely even been apart longer than a few minutes at best. The hedgehog shifted his weight to one side, cocking one leg a little while the other supported his body, and rested his hand on his hip, while the other raised to push a pinky into his ear and scratch the insides, providing the very image of laziness in this summer heat.
15. It's fun to tease him - also, it's always fun to have a fellow nord to meddle aorund with and poke fun of each other and the other nords with too.
16. Current Music: ]Current Location: Ponyville, (Road between town and Sweet Apple Acres) Sun shining, birds chirping and a cool breeze in the air. Now this was living! So thought the blue hedgehog as he lay back against the body of a tall tree, atop one of its long and sturdy branches, his eyes turned towards the sky while he watched the lazy crawl of clouds passing overhead, pressed against an otherwise clear blue sky. Back in Ponyville after a hypersonic trek across to visit the capital, he figured he'd earned a relaxing break before he'd speed off to check out the other cities that he'd heard about in this land they called Equestria. After all, if he was stuck here without a clue as to get home, he might as well enjoy the ride anyway and see the sights! He hadn't really kept count of the days since he's arrived in this strange new world - though in truth with a peaceful world like this one, why would anyone even care to keep score? - and while his thoughts occasionally wandered back to the safety of his friends, he merely shrugged away such cares. After all, they were his buddies - there's no way any nefarious old McNosehair would be able to pull a fast one on them! Well, okay.. maybe all but one of them he didn't need to worry about, the hedgehog let out a chuckling grimace at the thought of the troubles everyone would face if that darned echidna went wild on trickery again. The sunshine decided to turn it up a few notches, bathing the whole town of Ponyville in its warm glow, and in turn drowning out any lasting concerns that anyone might of had that day, drawing forth a lazy yawn from the hedgehog in the process. A short distance away he could hear the sound of the apple farm being worked on, and a little further away the sound of goings-on in the town, though neither sound was intrusive. After all, that's why he picked this spot! It was just close enough to keep an ear out for anything interesting, but at the same time, safe from any annoyances that might disturb his relaxation. Another yawn escaped the blue blur's lips, even as his eyes started to close.. maybe an afternoon nap wouldn't be such a bad idea, come to think of it..
17. Speaking with no uncertainty implies that you think your canon is the one and only - that might as well make your way official, by the way you present it. >_____>
18. The hedgehog got its name because of its peculiar foraging habits. They root through hedges and other undergrowth in search of their favourite food - small creatures such as insects, worms, centipedes, snails, mice, frogs, and snakes. As it moves through the hedges it emits pig-like grunts — thus, the name hedgehog. Hedgehogs have about five thousand spines. Each spine lasts about a year then drops out and a replacement grows. The spines are hollow and springy with a flexible neck and they are erected by muscles, meaning that a hedgehog is actually very soft to hold unless it's feeling threatened. At the base there is a smooth ball which bends on impact. There may be up to 500 fleas on one hedgehog but the specific hedgehog flea (known as Archaepsylla erinacei) rarely bites humans.
19. Problem is when you speak as though your particular choice in canon is official, which is what you did here.
