3. Making his way into the gardens, the hedgehog let out another impressed whistle of appreciation for the amount of work put into the decor. Finding a seat, he settled into it and placed the pears on the tableside, raising one leg to rest it over the other's knee, "You really run a sweet-lookin' place." He commented, before glancing over to Bowie as he responded to Elderflower's inquiry. "Heh, so there's other places out there that have talking hors-- err, ponies, as well, eh?" the hedgehog chipped in, managing to correct himself on what seemsed to be a bit of a verbal faux pas in these parts of referring to the equine locals as horses rather than ponies. Not letting that hamper him from grinning back at the bird rested atop the hostess' horn, he proceeded to wink and held aloft one of the pears he'd brought with him, offering the feathered companion to have a few nibbles from it if the bird so pleased.. With the topic of bearings and where people were from, he expected his turn to come up eventually, but didn't see any cause to bring it up himself. After all, he was just a visitor here like he'd been in so many other worlds before - and besides, how many people would buy into tall tales of genies and alien amusement parks? Well, okay, genies might fly in these parts, he chuckled inwardly, as the two magical ponies talking right next to him would surely attest towards the existance of such things.

9. ~MUSIC~ Stepping Wind Roleplay Type: Crossover Name: Klonoa Sex: Male Age: Klonoa's exact age is hard to place, what with his youthful and carefree nature. As such the best applicable label for his age would be to place him at 'Young Teen'. Species: Cat (Possibly a cabbit) Eye colour: A bright citrine orange. Coat/Mane/Tail/Style: Klonoa is feline, meaning that essentially all of his body is covered in hair, with most of his fur being black, save for a few choice places, such as his exceedingly long, floppy ears which flare and puff outwards towards the ends, turning white around halfway down their length, and the short, white tufty tail at his lower back. He sports a set of black bangs at the top of his head, as part of a somewhat scruffy, short hairstyle that is normally hidden underneath a large, blue cap - worn sideways - sporting a pecular, rounded yellow emblem eating a yellow dot. His muzzle is white, and sports a fuzzy, fluffy appearance around the cheek areas, whilst centered on his muzzle's features is a small, triangular, peach-coloured nose. His mouth sports a set of large fangs, and above his muzzle is where his large, round and expressive eyes, with feline pupils, sit. Klonoa's attire varies from time to time, dependant on circumstance and activities, though his most usual outfit is that of a blue shirt, adorned with an especially large zipper pin at the neck, accompanied by a pair of shorts of a darker shade of blue that sport a pair of gold buttons on light blue straps around the waist. He normally wears a pair of yellow gloves, and red sneakers with white soles and lines atop them. At other times he wears a pair of red shorts with a belt buckling them on firmly, and a small red jacket, sporting a gilded neckline. When wearing this getup, he wears gold-yellow gloves with white palms and white-brown mountain shoes. Regardless of what he's wearing, however, Klonoa is never seen without his trademark Wind Ring, a strange, oversized golden ring with a large, green jewel mounted on it. Physique: Given his young age, Klonoa is fairly short-statured, but not diminutive, perhaps standing a little below the average height of most young adults if one were to compare statures of him and Equestrian natives. Though his physique is slim and his arms and legs are thin, he is still rather athletic, able to participate in a variety of sports and activities. Origin/Residence: Klonoa comes from a village called Breezegale, in a world simply known as Phantomile. The village is built near the ruins of an ancient Wind Kingdom that had once stood but has long since been gone. As the name of the kingdom, and the village itself, implies, the villagers harness the power of the wind, shaping and processing stone using purely concentrated air, and using windmills to power things there, and at the center of the village lies a gigantic windmill. The village itself is fairly rustic and a little medieval European to a certain degree. Klonoa lives here with his Grandpa, and it is generally assumed that this is where he returns to whenever his adventures are over. Occupation: Dream Traveller - The exact nature of Klonoa's status as 'the Dream Traveller' is hard to specify. All that is known is that he involuntarily visits other worlds wherever the state of dreams is in danger. However, this state of dreams can simply refer to the state of that world overall, as Klonoa's presence in these worlds is described as being 'like a strange dream'. In essence, the worlds that Klonoa visits are as dreams seen in a vision to him, and to the people of those worlds, Klonoa himself is as though a dream come to life, strange and foreign, and not entirely real somehow, but still tangible. Cutie Mark: None! He’s a cat, err, cabbit, uh, thing, after all. History: Little is known of Klonoa’s true life in his own world of Phantomile, save that he lives with his Grandpa in the town of Breezegale. His nature as the Dream Traveller is also a mystery, alongside of the Wind Ring that accompanies him on every journey. To Klonoa himself, these adventures are a mystery and a puzzle that he does not comprehend, coming to him as visions or dreams that at times he remembers, and at others does not when he awakens again. "It’s strange… Sometimes I can’t remember my dreams, though I’m sure I saw them. Where do these dreams go? But I remember this one dream, as clearly as if it were reflected in a mirror…" "There’s a forgotten dream. Was it a dream I can’t remember? Or a dream I won’t remember? Have I forgotten the dream? Or has the dream forgotten me? But surely there was a dream…"Of his adventures as the Dream Traveller, there is a wealth to tell, of friendships forged and enemies vanquished. Of the ‘dreams’ which Klonoa remembers strongest is the memory of travelling to a Phantomile not unlike his own, where there was even a Breezegale and a Grandpa there for him as well, and a friend that he found in a strange creature named Huepow, the prince of that world’s Moon Kingdom, who had called Klonoa there to protect it, though had in turn created fake memories for Klonoa of their friendship, and of him belonging to this Phantomile, rather than the one which he had originated from. Together the two had been the closest of friends, until that world came under threat from the Dark King, Ghadius, who sought to throw the dreaming world of Phantomile into eternal darkness and nightmare in retaliation for the hatred and scorn which the people of Phantomile showed him, simply because of his dominion over nightmares, by using the power of the entity Nahatomb, which was born of evil and negativity. Klonoa, with Huepow’s aid, defeated both, but to great tragedy, as with the world’s balance restored, there would no longer be a place for the Dream Traveller to exist in this Phantomile. Despite the two friends desperately trying to hold onto one another, Klonoa was taken back to his own world against his will. This adventure seems to have left a lasting impression on Klonoa, no doubt owing to the fact that he himself confesses that the dream of him and Huepow was one that he remembers with perfect clarity, as in his later adventures, though he remains unaware of his nature as a traveller between worlds at first, he no longer feels as upset over having to depart once his journey ends. Another of his ‘visions’ took him to the world of Lunatea, where he was tasked with fulfilling a prophecy to save that world from a mysterious enemy by ringing the four bells of that world’s kingdoms of Tranquillity, Joy, Discord and Indecision. On this journey, he made new friends, and rivals, though as they journeyed on it seemed clear that there was more to the prophecy than first was known, revealing a fifth kingdom , with its own bell – the Kingdom of Sorrow, which seemed to be forcing its way into Lunatea. However, as Klonoa and his friends would discover, the King of Sorrow, the ruler of that kingdom, had in fact called Klonoa there himself, revealing that the fifth bell, and the Kingdom of Sorrow, had always been a part of Lunatea’s world; its people choosing to shun it, simply because they would rather run away from sadness, than face it and endure. Driven by loneliness and grief, the King of Sorrow sought to destroy the world of Lunatea by drowning it in sorrow, rather than accept being rejected by its people. Armed with the emotions of Tranquillity, Joy, Discord and Indecision, Klonoa brought the King of Sorrow to his senses by reminding him that the world was made of all these things, Sorrow included, and promised him that the world would no longer forget or run away from sadness, as it had before. The world of Lunatea saved, the Dream Traveller was once more forced to leave it, and the friends he had made behind. Though he was sad to say goodbye, the encounter with the King of Sorrow had since taught him that it was alright to cry, and to be sad, and so he parted ways with his friends with a smile instead, hopeful that they might one day meet again. And his hopes would come true, as through more dreams and visions, Klonoa would often be reunited with his friends, even among them being Huepow, and journeyed on many more adventures, defeating more evils, and saving more worlds, and each time returning to his own Phantomile once the balance had been restored… the Dream Traveller continuing his journeys and adventures, so long as he had dreams to recall. Character Summary: As a person, Klonoa is a kind and gentle, fairly optimistic individual, who displays a strong will. While he can be professed as having a number of qualities such as being rather accepting of people, despite their faults, he can at times be a little flakey, and at other times just a little bit laid back and neutral, making him seem careless, particularly as he has a tendency to be quite absent-minded and leaning on the unclever side as well. He can also be somewhat childish, at least in regards to his tastes in food, hating certain vegetables like tomatoes and carrots, while favouring hamburgers. He makes up for these shortcomings with his kindness and bravery, however, as he is shown to be a steadfast protector of his friends and will go out of his way to help others in need. Despite remaining relaxed and full of confidence when faced with the likes of ghosts and monsters that would make others quake in their boots, though, Klonoa is not without his own fears and worries. Heights, for example, cause him distress, and he becomes quite uneasy in the presence of water, on account of his inability to swim. Despite these limitations, however, Klonoa does not back down from a challenge, especially in the face of evil-doers, and neither is he without his own talents to pick up the slack where he cannot perform, such as displaying an experienced and proficient skill at surfing and riding on a hover board, and playing sports. He is able to temporarily cross jumping distances he’d normally not be able to make, or to gain a little more height to his jump, by flapping his long ears and hovering for a few brief seconds. As well as this, his trademark Wind Ring has the ability to envelop or fill creatures and objects with some magical energy that makes them float, allowing Klonoa to lift them over his head effortlessly. Being still young, Klonoa doesn’t seem to have any plans for his future, outside of simply having fun with his friends and enjoying life, or going on adventures. Above all else he values the friends that he makes, and clearly places importance on their happiness, as well as the happiness of others. Of the things he likes, fun and friends seem to be the main thing, and of what he dislikes, the cruelty of others and those who would selfishly put others beneath them for their own benefit. ~FIN
10. Stepping into the teahouse, the hedgehog stretches a few times, lazily turning his wrist in a way that allowed him to roll the lone pear from his palm to the back of his gloved hand, and then back into his palm again. As he moved forwards, he noticed the weird look he was getting from the establishment's hostess, which only drew a good-natured grin from the blue-quilled visitor. He was more than used to looks like that since coming to this strangely pastel world, and so he offered a cheerful, "No worries! I get that all the time!" as he stepped in a little further, just in time to quickly side-step what would have been a pretty major bump from another incoming customer, instead making it more of a brush of the shoulder, followed by him responding to the second apology he'd received in those few moments with another grin - people sure were polite around these parts, he mused. As the hostess proceeded to then invite him, and the other pony, to find their seats, he took the time to look around the place a little more keenly, taking in the sights and the scents that wafted through the place and gave it that welcoming and warm sensation. It was hard to dislike a place like this, where the atmosphere felt so natural - not that he disliked fast food joints and fast living, after all he still hadn't seen a single place here that served a chili dog, much to his chagrin and dismay. But there was always room for a nice, relaxing time to be had on any adventure, he'd learned, and this place was perfect for such an occasion. Upon hearing the hostess introduce herself as Elderflower, his grin widened to a cheery and pleasant smile, as he began to flip and bounce the two pairs he had palmed up and down in a minute little juggle, chiming "Nice to meetcha, Elderflower. I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog," he proclaimed with the carefree attitude and ease of someone who had probably introduced himself that way countless times, to a variety of people. At the very least, his demeanour certainly seemed to be that of someone troubled by little, as nowhere did his expression show offense at her previous staring. Following his introduction, he then added, "And it's a great day out, how 'bout a seat in the garden?"
11. I didn't mean to imply that China's plans were explicitely aimed at 'destroying the U.S.'. I meant to imply that the U.S. has outlived their usefulness in China's eyes. China's got their eyes set on everything - they even tried to take a huge chunk of my country when rumours started to float around that we had oil off the coast.
12. China's on-and-off support of North Korea is mostly to serve their agenda of keeping the U.S. focused on that business, while China gets ready to settle into Africa, where they'll have a ton of business opportunities, and then pull all of their financial business out of the U.S. because they see it as a wasted investment. Why does this matter enough that they'd want N. Korea keeping the U.S. busy? Mostly because the U.S. without China will collapse in on itself like a house of cards on a damp surface.
13. "Nice~!" The blue hedgehog chimed as he strolled along the streets of the city that he'd come to know by the name of Canterlot. Pastel whites, purples and blues as far as the eye could see, tinted with yellow and gilded linings here and there. The place was the very definition of regal and upper crust - but still so very impressive as far as architecture went! Red-white sneakers carrying him in his slow, lazy walk with the dull tapping of sole on cobblestone, he took his time enjoying the sights and the sounds of ponies at various cafés and restaurants, others rushing from store to store carrying the latest trends in fashion and designer brands. It seemed that whether it was one world or another, life had a way of going on its merry way pretty much in the same way as it might anywhere else. As he walked on, he noticed however that he seemed to be getting a far amount of sights set on himself as well, the hedgehog only managing a carefree grin in exchange. Was it because of his looks, so clearly alien and completely foreign to this world of ponies, even amidst the presence of creatures like minotaurs and dragons, perhaps, or was it because of the steady and constant momentum of his left arm, currently set in a light wrist-flicking rotation? His hand catching and then launching the trio of pears that he had aquired for his 'road snack' in a fairly impressive display of one-handed juggling. To him, of course, it mattered very little, flashing a smirk at the snooty-looking ponies as they drank their coffee early in the morning and turned their noses up at the realization that he was looking back at them. He took the moment to chuckle, though that proved to be a bit of a mistake, as a loose tile on the sidewalk caused him to stub his toe painlessly, but brought the blue hedgehog to a stumble through his lack of paying attention. His balance off for only a split second, it was still enough for him to miss a beat in his juggling, and dropping one of the pears, "Hey now, you get back here." the foreigner tutted irritably, watching the fruit roll along as if of a mind of its own.. eventually stopping on the doorstep of one of the numerous establishments he'd already seen on his tour of the city. Coming to the door to pick up his snack, the hedgehog dusted it off and peered inside.. the place was certainly an impressive-looking little teahouse. Far more modest than the extravagant ones he'd seen down the road, but the humble decor gave it its own unique sort of charm. On top of which there was the sweet smell of baked goods permeating through the air of the place, giving it a pleasingly homely atmosphere that was surprisingly welcoming. Bouncing the pear up and down a few times in his hand, while sheltering the other pair in the palm of his other, he stepped inside to get a better look, letting out an audible as an appreciative response to the look of the place, "Nice digs - anybody home?"
14. 'Hot Rod'-style character gets in Princess Twilight's way. She gets magically sealed in a crystal for 'the rest of time' (or until they need to resell Princess Twilight toys around Season 10).
15. Told ya in the chat earlier, but welcome to the site.

18. You know, objections should usually be followed by statements. Otherwise you'll just get thrown out for wastin' the Judge's time.
19. So based on that colossal debate a few pages back.. does this mean Turnabout Storm is canon to this RP as far as 'past history' goes? *Snicker* I kid, of course.
