I thought about having her say "I foresee a romantic evening with a beautiful gypsy in your near future." But if you can think of something more suitable for her, do tell - I wouldn't want to use something out of character for her.

I want to put some kind of witty dialog in the blank area beside her head. I still plan to finish this with colour in Adobe Flash, so if there's anything you'd like changed, let me know, because Flash is like art with cheat codes.

I tried to make her look older than the CMCs, but younger than the mane cast, but I've always been terrible with young/pre-teen characters. Plus, I'm still getting used to drawing ponies.

An interesting idea, but I was hoping to focus more on OCs. Right, sounds good. Is there any particular pose or situation you’d like her in? So... A flirty gypsy pony? I can do that. Did you want me to draw her in that scenario you described? If so, could you tell me a few more details, like who she was with, where they were, etc? I’ll queue these up on a list and get started as soon as I can, but do remember that it may take a while, as I have other things to work on as well.

[Closed to new requests until I can catch up] Hello there! I’m fairly new to the site, and I figured I could use this part of the forums to get some drawing practice. I’m an animation student, currently attending Westwood College, but with my school’s heavy focus on 3D art, and my tendency to get distracted when drawing on my own time, my fundamental drawing skills have gone a bit stale. Fortunately, I tend to do better when working for someone else, and so I would like to take your requests (preferably stuff with OCs). This is my first time taking requests, so I welcome any advice on doing so. I also welcome critique on my work, regardless of how brutal. As I mentioned, I am a college student, and also already working on a side project, so it might take me a while to get around to and complete requests, so please be patient. I draw with vectors directly in Adobe Flash, so it’s possible to add animations to the drawings (I’d prefer to keep these as simple as possible in the interest of time). Roleplay Type: World of Equestria RP Name: Sporange Brew Sex: Male Age: Stallion (recently reached adulthood) Species: Zebra/Donkey Eye colour: Saffron (orange-yellow) Coat colour: Beige (light tan, almost white) Mane/Tail/Markings colour & Style: His secondary colour is taupe (dark gray-brown, almost black), which is most prominent in his zebra stripes. The tips of his ears and muzzle also have this colour. His medium length mane is droopy and wavy, much like a willow tree. His tail is long, and bushy only at the base, where there are stripes of his primary (beige) and secondary (taupe) colors. Physique: He's small for a stallion, but lean and agile - excellent at fleeing and hiding from predators. Origin/Residence: He grew up with his parents in their small cottage deep within the Whitetail Woods. He currently lives in his own house, a giant mushroom hut, in a shallower section of the forest. Occupation: Alchemist – he mixes ingredients to make experimental concoctions (including but not limited to potions). However, most of his experiments do not succeed. He occasionally travels around Equestria to try to sell his "inventions", favoring small towns and villages, as he can't stand the hustle and bustle of big cities. He takes a very humble and ethical approach to selling his wares, as he is more interested in helping others than making money, but this approach often minimizes his success. Motivation: He dreams of revolutionizing the world with his discoveries, though he'd be happy just to make a valuable contribution. He doesn't care about fame or fortune. Likes:Mushrooms, exploring the unknown, relaxing in dark places, occasional solitude Dislikes: Excessive sunlight, large crowds, loud noises, feeling restrained Character Summary: Parents & History: His father is a zebra herbalist, who traveled to Equestria in search of ingredients for new medicines. His mother is a donkey cook, who specializes in mushroom recipes. The two met in Froggy Bottom Bog (one of the many places they both often venture to acquire exotic ingredients), while hiding from a monster. They currently still live in their cottage in Whitetail Woods. Sporange Brew was very close to his parents while growing up, and he has learned many things from both of their professions. He now lives alone in his own hut, not far from his parents, and he visits them frequently. He usually doesn't mind being alone, but to keep him company while he is by himself, he has recently adopted a pet frog. Cutie Mark Story: His flank mark is a zebra style symbol of a mushroom. This represents his love for mushrooms and his ability to use them in alchemy. He discovered his talent when he invented a mushroom-based "food tonic", which can keep one fed for longer than an equal amount of normal food. Flaws: His biggest flaw is that, in his profession, he ultimately doesn't know what he's doing. He has made a few successful discoveries, but most of his experiments end in failure. He also tends to be too curious, sometimes getting himself into dangerous situations. He is sometimes socially awkward, but not in a shy way – instead, he is the one who, unintentionally, makes others feel uncomfortable by being bluntly open and honest. Personality: He tends to have a serious, gloomy presence, though this is often deceiving, as he is usually content and warm-hearted. He is very ambitious, but willing to settle when he cannot achieve perfection. He is easily satisfied with the simple pleasures of life. He is empathetic and generous, hence his desire to help others with his creations, but also somewhat of a coward, who rarely stands up for himself or his friends. Ironically, he is also reckless in situations where the danger is not immediately apparent; he will ignore warnings, but then panic when actually faced with a threat.

However, I'm definitely in need of more practice - my school mostly focuses on 3D animation, though I'm more interested in cartooning (hand drawn work). Was looking for a good MLP RP community and this one seemed to be the most active and organized. How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: Saw references popping up here and there on the net. Gave the show a try after Know Your Meme posted about it on Tumblr. Became hooked just before season 2 started. My favourite main cast pony/s: Pinkamina Diane Pie Ahoy! I just found this site recently, and I'm excited to get back into roleplaying. I've only tried RP once before on another (less organized) site, MLP even... though it did not turn out pretty Anyway, I'm also here to get more involved with the fandom, as I've mostly been a lurker until now. When it comes to styles of stories and roleplays, I particularly enjoy those that are dark, but in a quirky and playful sort of way, like what you'd see in Tim Burton's style of work. I don't have an OC ready yet, but I'll be starting with some doodles soon (hopefully something to replace my current avatar ), and then I'll work on the backstory, etc. With that, I'll be off for now, but I hope to see some of you in an RP soon!
