Fun fact: I've always been a sucker for anime guys with white hair. Especially if they have darker or tanned skin. Don't know why, but that look has always appealed to me.
I know right?! <pant>

It looks great, how do you do flat drawings that well? Any tips?
Sure! Here are some of the things I do with this kind of drawings!
- Keep shading to a minimal. The simplistic (as the name suggests) style is meant to keep things simple and 2D looking.
- Outline only when you need to, but with a shape. It's best to use different colours to show the shape and to use other shapes to define two separate shapes if they are the same colour instead of a dark line eg. the hoof and his face. Also use colours that are darker but close to the shape's colour when you are defining it.
- Use a vector program! It is much easier to create shapes and straight edges on a vector program. I use Inkscape for all of my drawings because it's free and it is easy to use. It also goes well with drawings that are "MLP" styled.
That's about it!

Looks fantastic - I'm a sucker for parrot hippogriffs/griffons, and I'm actually making one myself .
The color scheme has a bit too much orange though, it makes him a bit oversaturated to look at.
I based him on a rainbow lorikeet which usually have bright yellow or orange feathers. But now that I look at it, I can see what you are trying to say about the colour. This was only a rough design so i'll keep that in mind when I draw him again

I won't search it then.
Sorry for inconveniencing you. =/
Don't worry about it. I'm actually glad you asked because I don't want to be accidentally copying someone's idea

Undertail? The title sounds sort of familiar, though I'm not sure (No, I do not mean Undertale, I mean UnderTAIL).
Wasn't there already a comic with that sort of name? Or is this like some sort of remake of that comic?
Tbh I have no idea. I just changed the name because ponies have tails. I googled it before and you don't find pleasant images...
