  1. I love playing with Punk Walker... He's the only OC I have that I can post with in the middle of the night and it doesn't matter how silly it becomes. It's still in character.

  8. This was supposed to be comment on Sexism in the MLP fandom but I realized that this one would do better as a topic on its own. As the 'true neutral' person I am; I guess I should step in with a couple of thoughts for the first time. Just note that I really haven't read the essay, I'm just adding some thoughts about the subject in general. Thus you don't have to go and read that essay; if you don't really want to do it of course. I have divided my thoughts into two opinion-provoking staples and personal theories that I've chose to call: "Ignorephilia" and "The equalizers" Ignorephilia This "sexism" topic appears everywhere in different approaches but similar genres. "Sexism in fandom", "Homophobia in sport club" and "Racism on internet", to name a few. These topics appear in each and every larger community where a larger group of people are 'forced' to interact with each other. We humans have an inborn cruelty as well as an inborn goodness. I won't argue about that; it's a stated fact. I can personally admit that I've done a lot of things that I regret, I've been mean, I've been ignorant and I've allowed my mood to make my actions for me, even on this site. Not everything could and shouldn't be blamed on my age and maturity. My belief is that a whole lot of people are like me, and even worse. So, does this problem exist in our brony community? Undoubtedly; yes. Is there anything we as individuals could do about it? Yes, a little, but that doesn't mean we'll do it. A big flaw with the, for us, well-known ideology "Love and tolerance" is the second word in that sentence. A synonym to "tolerance" is "acceptance" and close to "acceptance" lays "Ignorance" since to "accept" or "tolerate" one's behavior would be equal to "ignore" said person's behavior. Our general community today is soaked with "ignorance" and we're encouraged to "Not feed the trolls", "don't fish", and are forced with a general "Don't stick out and make sure no one else will" propaganda. Maybe these acts to ignore 'attention seekers' will make people more and more desperate to actually be noticed and does rather be stamped with things like: Sexist, racist and homophobic, than not being seen at all. Maybe what we need to do is just to show people what's good and what's wrong and encourage them to do good things by giving them cred for doing them. The equalizers Every day we hear "Sexism is bad!", "Homophobia is badder!", and "Racism is baddest!" and for good reasons. Non of us could stand here and truthfully say that any of these are good things. Only someone stupid and with an IQ of a slug would have missed the flow of "anti-bad" chants hammering at your head since the day you began walking. And you agree! There's no reason you shouldn't. Bad things are bad and bad things should be good things instead. Of course was the napalm use in the Vietnam war bad. Of course is the starving in Africa bad. Calling girls bad because they are girls are bad. Calling blacks bad because they have a different skin color is bad. Bad, bad, bad, bad. A lot of things are bad and those things should be fixed. There's a lot of groups and organizations who does a great job in making these problems less bad. But there's this thing, these groups, that are going way too far in their work. Instead of saying that we should be proud of our differences and love each other for who we are, or even saying that we are beautiful the way we are, they try to squeeze in every one into one single square centimeter. In this spot there's no differences between men and women, black and white, human and animal, fat and thin, long and short, poor or rich, Swedish and English nerd and geek, fanfic and fiction and schoolgirls and ponies. Everyone should be squeezed into one single unit where every differences is denied. Every unpopular opinion like, sexism, homophobia and racism should be suppressed and those with these opinions will be denied a part in the community. No, I'm not saying we're there yet, but it isn't impossible that we eventually will. Our world is changing, the surveillance increasing, who are you to say that we wouldn't end up like this? There you have some of my many thoughts. This is mostly based on my observations of the world in general and nothing in here are stated facts. These are theories. As a seventeen year old immature, philosophical dude who desires more knowledge than is offered; I sometimes make theories but I lack the equally intellectual group of people who can help me evolve them. Don't take me wrong, my pals are awesome and smart in their own way but they don't care much for my kind of thoughts. I'm basically here for a second and third person perspective. Thank you for your time and consideration! Here's an eggplant

    Once again....

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a terrible adviser, not even out of my teens. Thus, my advice is that you two should seek professional help. Yeah, sorry, I said it. It's often very sensitive and the man in the couple is often hard to convince. Just try once, is my advice, it's often worth it. You are a wonderful person Lilia, and I don't think you two should give up too soon. And a little something to make you smile: http://9gag.com/gag/...En?ref=fsidebar

  13. Now lets see if I can make an REA character without failing horribly :v

  14. Welcome, welcome! Have a wonderful stay!
  15. Alright! Let me explain it to you! First of, we have the FFA (Free For All)roleplay area. You won't need to make an application here as you will in the other sections and the limits are only bound to the rules of the site. Secondly we have the the CC (Canterlot Chronicles) at your service. This section has more rules and limits but it's still fairly loose for those who which more of an adventurous Roleplay. Note that you'll have to make an Chronicle application in order to Roleplay which is of course bound to follow some of the CC's rules and structure. If you're not certain if your character is allowed, you can check in the species list. The latest link is also a great help for you to understand the essence of the CC. Finally we have the WoE (World of Equestria) which is the strictest and most accurate of them all. Here you'll find the most high quality posts and characters which are well thought through and many in there are experienced Roleplayers who are often willing to help if asked. Now you'll need an application made for the WoE and note that all applications that has been approved in the WoE is playable everywhere on the site. You could make a character in WoE and then play it without issues in the CC. This requires of course some more quality than the other applications and you should make sure to check our fabulous application form before you start. A roleplay helper will come and help you and then you should be able to handle it! A tip is to check other RP's and take some inspiration from them in your Roleplaying when you get to that. Now, Welcome! Have a wonderful time roleplaying and I hope you'll meet many new friends!
