1. Fuchsia picked up the quill with a levitation spell, the feather glowing faintly pink with her magic. She dipped the quill in the ink bottle, and signed her name with an elegant flourish: Fuchsia Blooms She looked at the price on the invoice, and shook her head. "I just made a deposit at the bank yesterday, so I don't have a big bag of bits to pay for all these. It's going to have to be a bank note." Keeping the quill hovering above the counter, she removed her bank book from its drawer and wrote out a cheque for the flower delivery. Setting the quill down after wiping the tip on a rag to prevent ink spots, she tore the note from the book and placed it on top of the invoice with her signature on it. "So, Bramble Rose, you seem to be very interested in studying unicorn magics. Why aren't you also teaching at the university, or studying full time there? I would think that a stallion as intelligent as yourself would rather be in a library with his nose in a book, than pulling a flower cart." "Well," she thought to herself,"maybe it's his father's influence. Perhaps he can't stand to be cooped up inside all day." Fuchsia waited to hear what his reasons were, and if her thought had been correct.
2. Snickerdoodle yelped in surprise as the armed stallion burst into the spa lobby. He looked nervous and frantic, which scared her. He demanded to know if a strawberry-scented red mare was on the premises. Thinking he was addressing her, she squeaked, "I...I don't know! I just got here myself. Please don't hurt me!" This was turning out to be a bad idea, she could feel it. A day at the spa was supposed to be nice and relaxing, wasn't it? But now her nerves were jangled, shaking with adrenaline caused by the sudden appearance of this brown stallion. He was no longer standing near the door, but he was looking around anxiously. Maybe... if she was quick, she could get to the door and get out before he could react? Snickerdoodle stood up carefully, eased her wings open, and made a dash for the door, wings flapping to gain speed. She hit the door hard, tumbling through it and cracking the frame around the hinges as it slammed open. Not looking back, she zoomed upwards into the sky and away. She was definitely going to need some time on a quiet, relaxing cloud away from everypony before she was remotely ready to try a spa treatment again.
3. Snickerdoodle reached into her change purse again and removed twelve bits. That seemed a little low, so she took two more bits out and hoofed the pile of coins over to the pink mare. "Thank you kindly, miss Cherry! And you too, miss Bon Bon! I'll look for your carts again the next time I'm in Ponyville for my shopping!" The custard coloured pegasus placed the bag of jam and veggies carefully in her saddle bag next to the delectable chocolate candies, and waved goodbye to the shopkeepers, as they continued to talk business with each other. Now, she needed to get flour and sugar, fresh churned butter and eggs too for baking cookies. Snickerdoodle turned towards the dry goods store and flew off, careful not to jostle the contents of her bags. [exit]
4. Durham Red eyed the flyer suspiciously. He'd never considered a matchmaking service before. However, he'd already tried (and failed) to get a date with most of the Appleloosa mares, and made a fool of himself in the process. What could it hurt to try letting somepony else set him up for a change? And they were out of Fillydelphia, so maybe this 'Matchie' could find him a girl from his hometown. That would make his mother happy, that's for certain. Although he didn't know if any mares from the city would want to move out to the edge of the desert where he lived. Still, it was worth a shot. Hi there! Thank you for choosing One Plus Another, Equestria's choicest blind-date and matchmaking service! Just a few minutes of your time, and you'll be on your way to finding that special match chosen just for you! 5. Snickerdoodle hated to interrupt the two sales ponies chatting, but she still had a few errands to run in town before going home. And cherry jam was a treat she didn't often indulge in. Not quite as rare as a jar of zap apple jam, but seldom enough. Her mouth watered as the pink pony listed off her jam flavours. "Oh, they all sound so good! Can I get a jar of the sour cherry, one of the apple cherry, um, a head of broccoli and a small bunch of parsnips please?" She would definitely have to go to the dry goods store now. Jam thumbprint cookies were very popular among her coworkers. Made with apple cherry preserves, they'd fly out the door faster than a F1 tornado! The chocolate bon bons, though, those would be her special treat. No sharing
6. Snickerdoodle approached the door of the day spa with hesitation. She had never done anything remotely like this before, but it was her birthday soon, and her parents had sent her some bits and told her to do something nice for herself. A massage and a hooficure counted as something nice, right? And the Ponyville spa was having a special right now on all their services and products. She hoped that it wouldn't be too busy, since she hadn't made a reservation. Did one need to make a reservation? She wasn't sure. It was early enough that if she needed to wait a few hours she could go get something to eat and come back. As she walked in, the lobby was empty. Nopony at the desk, and no one waiting. "Hmmm, they must all be in the back, getting their treatments started," she thought to herself. "I'll wait here for a little while. One of the spa ponies has to come out soon." Snickerdoodle signed her name on the registration log, then found a seat in the waiting area, sitting patiently until someone came out to greet her and get her checked in.
7. From the album: Pony Scribbles and Stuff

My pegasus OC Snickerdoodle with a tray of cookies for the oven. I was experimenting with using Sketchbook Express on my iPad with a stylus to colour this. Not bad for my first attempts. Still a little rough, but I'll get better with more practice.

8. Fuchsia Blooms paused, and blinked once or twice, trying to parse what Bramble Rose had said about phenotypes and magical aspecting. "So, what you're saying is, unicorns with earth magics, like my affinity for growing things, are more likely to have earth ponies in their family tree? I suppose that makes sense... I admit I had never really thought about it. I got my love of growing things from my mother, and she got her love of nurturing from my gran, who was a nurse." She surveyed the shop, making sure that all the flowers she had ordered were inside and put in their proper places. The cut stems were in the display cases up front, and the potted plants were on their shelves in the back. "Well, I think we got everything in. Was there anything else you needed from me?" Suddenly afraid it seemed like she was giving the purple unicorn the brush off, she hastily resumed, "Of course, you can stay to chat if you don't have somewhere else to be right away. There are no other customers at the moment, so I have some time." Fuchsia smiled at him. He was a nice pony to talk to, even if half of what he said went over her head. Maybe she should investigate taking some evening courses at the university...
9. Snickerdoodle hoofed over the five bits she had taken from her change purse and retrieved the two bags of chocolates from the candymaker. "Here you go, miss Bon Bon! Plus a little extra, to help you cover the damage to your cart." She dropped the small bags of candies into her pack, then turned to the new cart that had just arrived in the square. This one was pulled by a pink pony and had a variety of goods on display. She trotted over to inspect the produce for sale. "Hmmm, I do need some carrots, and a head of broccoli would be nice. Ooh, cherry preserves! I could finally make some jam thumbprints for the breakroom at the factory! Excuse me miss..." Snickerdoodle snuck a peek at the salespony's cutie mark and made an educated guess, "um, Cherry? How much for a jar of jam?"
10. Snickerdoodle watched Derpy fly off, and shook her head. She fervently hoped that the ditzy grey mare wouldn't cause any more trouble than she already had. Visions of sawblades and hammers danced in her head, and she suppressed a shudder. Bon Bon kindly refused her offer of assistance. Which was just as well, she probably knew the local craftsponies better than someone who lived in a different town. But it made Snickerdoodle feel better for having offered. "My father is Sliderule. He's an engineer up in Cloudsdale, like I mentioned. Mostly he oversees new buildings in the cloud city, but occasionally he does woodworking projects. He's actually pretty good at carving designs into wood, it's one of his hobbies." Snickerdoodle looked over the chocolates arrayed in front of her. Spitfire had gotten the Excalibur collection, which did sound absolutely amazing. But miss Bon Bon did say that even her regular collection was the best in Equestria, which she didn't doubt at all. "Hmmm, they both sound tempting. May I have six of the Excalibur, and six of the regular collection? I want to leave some for your other customers. Besides, I'm in Ponyville every other week to shop for supplies, I can always get more when your cart is rebuilt." She rummaged in her pack and pulled five bits out of her change purse. That would be enough to cover the cost of the candies, plus a little extra.
11. I actually did use this one with two of my OCs (they're siblings). To be fair, they did attend school, just not all the time. They were removed from class when they were needed to help with the family business. And they aren't completely uneducated, what they didn't learn in class they were taught at home, or learned from library books.
12. Snickerdoodle smiled gratefully at Bon Bon. She hadn't really wanted to spend her afternoon dodging debris and errant lightning, anyway. As long as miss Derpy wasn't going to do any more damage, it was probably safe. "Ah, thank you! Yes, I wanted to get some of your delicious looking chocolates. What varieties do you have left?" Snickerdoodle looked down at the trays of candies laid out on the grass. They enticed her with their glossy chocolate shells. Then she glanced over at the ruined cart, and felt a pang of sympathy. "Listen, miss Bon Bon. My dad's an engineer up in Cloudsdale. He built my house for me over on the Numbusgait lakeshore. If you like, I can ask him to rebuild your cart for you. If he can't help, he might know a local carpenter pony who could."
13. Fuchsia Blooms got off the train from Canterlot and adjusted the flower baskets slung across her back. Then she picked up her valise and started trotting towards the Ponyville town hall. This was going to be exciting! A convention for just the ladies of Equestria. A chance to meet new ponies, and have a relaxing weekend getting to know her new friends. Being a shopkeeper in Canterlot meant that she didn't have a lot of spare time to go out and meet new folks, aside from customers coming in to the store. As she arrived at the doors of the building, she saw several mares gathering already. She danced a little with giddy glee, then approached the green pegasus behind the registration table. "Hello, I'm Fuchsia Blooms, and I'd like to check in! I've brought some flowers from my shop, if you wanted to put them on some of the tables as decorations, or snacks. I've got daisies, carnations, gladiolas, some tea roses, and a few lilies. I'm so excited, this is going to be great fun!"
14. Okay, my character's little sister Sorghum Sweet just got approved, so I'd like to bring her in as well. Who else are we waiting on to join the RP?
15. Thanks! Still not sure if it needs anything more.
16. Martini Paradise brought out a plate of fritters, and explained that the pie was sadly all gone. Snickerdoodle glanced over at the table where Soarin' and Rainbow Dash still had their heads together, no doubt talking about awesome stunts or some such thing. She saw the pile of empty plates and sighed. Ah well, the fritters were warm, and just as delicious as apple pie. "So is your brother enlisted or officer? What does he do in the REA?" "My brother, Slingshot, is currently a Staff Sargent. I think that means he's a non-commissioned officer, but military ranks confuse me. He's a scout, and flies border patrols mostly, but his goal is to move up the ranks and become a member of the Royal Guard. I'm not sure if he will end up stationed here in Canterlot or in the Crystal Empire. He's probably hoping for the latter, since he has a school colt crush on Princess Cadence." Snickerdoodle took a bite of a fritter, and her eyes crossed a little as she slowly chewed the pastry. Either this fritter was really that good, or she was really that hungry. She had to deliberately eat slow, or the plate would have been licked clean in seconds. At the mention of a drink, she replied, "The hot cocoa is fine for now, but it could definitely use a little shot of peppermint schnapps to spice it up a little. Thanks." She turned towards the unicorn stallion sitting near her as he addressed her. Snickerdoodle smiled what she hoped was a friendly smile, and not an exhausted grimace. "Hmm? Yes, I do work at the weather factory, in the rainbow department. I was on shift this morning when this terrible storm blew in. Why do you ask?"
17. Fuchsia blinked at the explanation for what Bramble Rose said his dam taught. It went straight over her head, too. She never attended university, just the regular schooling all Canterlot foals got. Her magic was limited to simple cantrips and levitation spells. "Oh my! I never did any advanced studies like that. Most of the specialty magic I know my mother taught me. The rest I learned from books I borrowed from the library." Fuchsia Blooms continued to make space for the cut stems in the display cases in front of the store, and to carry the potted plants to the shelves in the back while she chatted. It was nice to talk and work at the same time. Most of the other delivery ponies just unloaded their carts at the door, had her sign the sheet, and left without passing anything more than a few pleasantries. "My father actually took the sales job as a way to earn money while seeing all of Equestria, without having to join the REA. Not that there's anything wrong with military service," she interjected quickly. "He's just a very laid back and informal sort of pony. All the formality and discipline required for being in the army was just not his style. Sales is definitely his calling. Ma says he can talk the bark off a Timber Wolf." She laughed. It was true though. Fullerton was a very distinguished Canterlot unicorn, but he was also very gregarious. He could strike up a friendly conversation with anypony, about almost anything. It was an asset for when he traveled to some of the more remote parts of the country, where the locals were a little wary of fancy city ponies like himself. So, um, this is a bit out of the Everfree, I know, but just from curiosity, um ... do you happen to have an Earth Pony in your ancestry ... ?" Fuchsia was a little startled by the question. However, they had been talking about family, and Bramble did say his own sire was an earth pony. "Actually, yes I do. My great granddam, on my mother's side, was an earth pony. Wisteria Lane, a society pony from Manehattan. Why do you ask?"
18. Snickerdoodle looked up in alarm, worried that Derpy might try again to zap her with a lightning bolt. “Hey, I know; I can make a new cart for you, Bon Bon. Just give me thirty minutes to a hour, and you’ll be owning the most spiffiest market stand that Ponyville has ever seen! Of course, I could get the job done faster if I have somepony to help meeeeeee...” She looked left and right, then the realization dawned on her. "You mean me? Um, sure, I guess I could help. I do have a little experience building stuff, I suppose." Snickerdoodle was pretty darn sure this was not going to go well, but if she could help, or at the very least try to keep the clumsy grey mare occupied for a little while, then maybe it would be okay. She was definitely going to earn her chocolates, at any rate. "Terribly sorry, Miss Bonbon," she whispered to the candy mare. "I'll do my best to keep her out of your mane for awhile." She looked up at Derpy. "Okay, what do we need to do first?"
19. I have two female characters, but only one would likely attend this event, so I'll register her. 1. Fuchsia Blooms (Canterlot) 2. NA 3. NA
20. I'm not sure what else this character needs, so I'm marking it ready for feedback.
21. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Mane RP Name: Sorghum Sweet Sex: Female Age: Young Filly (a 'tween) Species: Earth Pony Eye colour: Azure Blue Coat: Amber Waves of Grain Mane/Tail: Dark Leaf Green, kept in braids Physique: Average for a filly her age. Long legs she hasn't quite grown into yet, and a slender frame. Residence: Fillydelphia Occupation: Student, works in the family gristmill Cutie Mark: None yet, to her consternation History: Sorghum Sweet lives with her parents, Einkorn and Caraway Rye, at their mill upriver from Fillydelphia. Her uncle Emmer and aunt Wilhelmina also live in Fillydelphia, and they help out at the family mill. Her older brother, Durham Red has a mill of his own in Appleloosa. She goes to school more often than her brother did, but she still gets pulled out of classes when it gets busy and they need the extra help. She does well in class, but doesn't have a favorite subject. Sorghum Sweet has a few friends among the other blank flanks in her school. If they knew about the Cutie Mark Crusaders, they would definitely have started a FIllydelphia chapter of the club. Character Summary: Sorghum Sweet is an adventurous pony. Or at least, she would like to be. She is always chafing at the bit to go out and do things, if only her parents would let her. She is quite sure she could find her destiny and get her cutie mark if she were allowed to go out and explore. She isn't much interested in book learning. She wants to learn by doing. Reading books can be interesting, but it just makes her want to go out and actually experience the things she read about. Sorghum Sweet is not sure that the mill is her destiny. She doesn't mind helping with the family business. Sweeping up the fallen grain and spilled flour can be relaxing, allowing her thoughts to wander. And she's gotten pretty good at sewing up the finished bags of flour. But it feels more like a placeholder, not her final destination. She is allowed to go visit her older brother in Appleloosa, but even then she's stuck at his mill, because he's too busy working. Not fair. At least the town he lives in is small, and she can wander down main street without getting into trouble. Sorghum Sweet is a very friendly and easygoing filly. She's quick to make friends and willing to try new things. She does get teased occasionally for still being a blank flank, but never maliciously. She enjoys roughhousing and playing games like kickball, tag, red rover, basically really physical sports. Between working at the mill, her schooling, and playing with her friends, she doesn't really have much time for hobbies. She hasn't found any that hold her interest at any rate.
22. This isn't of a pony from the show, but my personal pony avatar. It's done by Amara from flyingarmadillo.com http://www.furaffini.../view/10359304/ I also love this painting of Big Macintosh, by SophieCabra and Kenket http://www.furaffini...t/view/9910545/ EDIT: I don't know why my images won't show up, so I just deleted them and left the links instead.
23. From the album: Plush Ponies

This is a pegasus plush I made using a pattern by Eva Schiffer (digitalchangeling.com/ponypattern). I used blue plaid fleece for the pony, and navy blue yarn for the mane and tail. He has black plastic eyes on circles of white felt. He also sports a blue bow around his neck, with white polka dots.
