1. Fuchsia Blooms blushed to her ears. She was quite sure her cheeks matched the bright pink of her mane. "Thank you very much. These orchids are my pride and joy. I'm glad you appreciate them." Flit picked this very moment to zip down from his birdhouse near the ceiling and buzz around the orchids Fuchsia had brought out. He loved to sip their nectar, but wasn't often allowed near the delicate flowers. "Flit! Not in front of the customers!" Fuchsia scolded. "I'm so sorry about that, Light. My hummingbird friend can get a little over excited sometimes." Flit made a rude noise and sulked off to perch in a bunch or gladiolas. "So, did any of these catch your eye, or perhaps your nose?"
2. Fuchsia was really flustered now. A prince! Oh goodness. She blushed a little as he asked her name and offered his hoof to her. "It's a pleasure to have you in my store, Pri... er, Light. My name is Fuchsia Blooms." She placed her hoof over his, and wondered if she should curtsey. She wasn't sure she knew how to curtsey. Se settled for merely bowing her head a little while she smiled at him. "Oh, um... it's a bit messy and crowded in the back, lots of potting soil and such laying about. I don't usually allow customers back there. Please, let me bring a few out to show you. I breed them myself, it's a passion of mine." Fuchsia dropped her hoof from his and quickly retreated to the back room, where she let out the breath she had been holding. She scanned the shelves, and using her magic took down a selection of her best orchids. Then she carefully levitated them in front of her as she returned to the shop, and gently placed them on the counter.
3. Fuchsia Blooms was delighted that as soon as she opened the shop, she had a customer! And such a handsome stallion, too. "Hello and Welcome! Yes, I do grow some of these in my greenhouse, but others are delivered here from nearby greenhouses. Is there anything special you were looking for today? I have some lovely and quite fragrant roses over here." She pointed her hoof at the display shelves along the wall, filled with pink and yellow roses, and a few calla lilies. Fuchsia smiled her most friendly smile and waited for the unicorn... wait, was he an alicorn? Now she was a bit nervous. She had never entertained royalty in her shop before, despite being located in Canterlot. "Or, if you were interested in something more exotic, I do have some potted orchids in the back. Would you like me to bring a few out?"
4. Fuchsia Blooms made one final check around her shop, to make sure everything was ready for the day. She had plenty of roses and lilies in many colours, plus daisies, carnations, gladiolas, and asters. She was short of tulips, daffodils, and iris, but she was expecting a delivery later that morning. The ribbon spools were hung by the counter, ready for wrapping up bouquets, and she had cards ready and waiting for sweet messages to be written on them. Her little hummingbird friend, Flit, buzzed excitedly around the shop. "Okay, Flit, I'm ready if you are!" She laughed. Fuchsia Blooms went to the door and flipped the sign over. The Green Hoof Floral Shop was open for business!
5. I haven't abandoned this character application, I've just been a bit busy. Will get back to this as soon as I can with more backstory.
6. Snickerdoodle was in Ponyville to do her weekly shopping. She considered getting something a little different for dessert while she was in town. Perhaps some cupcakes from Sugarcube Corner, or maybe she would stop by Sweet Apple Acres and see if Granny Smith had any pies. The pony who coined the phrase "Easy as Pie" clearly came from the Apple family. Snickerdoodle could roll out sugar cookie dough all day long, but pie crusts were problematic. As she trotted through the marketplace, she saw a stall marked Bon Bon's with several ponies around it. "Hmmm, some chocolate candies might be nice." Snickerdoodle thought to herself. She started moving in that direction, until she saw a familiar flame coloured pegasus in line. Crud. Snickerdoodle wasn't sure if Spitfire remembered her after her disappointingly short stay in the Wonderbolts Academy, but she didn't want to find out for certain. She decided to hang back a bit and wait until the Wonderbolt made her purchase and moved on.
7. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Mane RP Name: Durham Red Sex: Male Age: Young Stallion Species: Earth Pony Eye colour: Washed out Denim Blue Coat: Terra Cotta red, like sun baked clay Mane/Tail: Silvery leaf green, kept short and out of the way Physique: Tall and broad shouldered, with strong legs Residence: Appleloosa Occupation: Miller Cutie Mark: Two ears of golden wheat Durham Red worked in the family mill since he was old enough to push a broom. At first, his chores consisted of just sweeping up the spilled grain and flour, but as he grew older and stronger, he started helping unload the grain bags and filling the flour sacks. When he had a few moments to himself, he studied the mechanics of the mill, learning how the gears and shafts worked. Once, when he was a young colt, an order came in for one hundred sacks of finely ground cake flour to be delivered to a bakery in Fillydelphia. Unfortunately the night before a storm upriver had sent a felled tree right into the mill's water wheel, breaking some of the paddles so it couldn't turn properly anymore. It would take at least a week to fix, and the order was due in three days. Durham Red thought hard, studied the machinery, and came up with a solution. He created a makeshift belt drive, attached it to the axle of the water wheel on one end, and a treadmill on the other. Then he jumped on the treadmill and started running. The belt drive turned the axle, which turned the gear wheels, which turned the main drive shaft, which turned the millstones. His sire, hearing the noise coming from the mill, ran in to see what his son had done. He was so proud that he just stood there for a moment, admiring the ingenuity of the solution Durham Red had come up with. Then he joined his son on the treadmill, and together they ground the wheat until the flour order was completed. Durham Red was so exhausted that he didn't notice his cutie mark until the next day. If you were to ask him what it meant, he would tell you it stood for dedication, to one's work and one's family. History: Durham Red comes from a long line of millers. His grandparents emigrated from Germaney when they were newly married, and built a gristmill on the Manebrush River, just north of Fillydelphia. Farmers on the Saddleveil Plains would bring their grain to the mill to be ground into flour, and then transported downriver to the city to be sold. Business thrived, and eventually they passed the mill on to their sons, Einkorn, Emmer, and Spelt. Durham Red's sire, Einkorn, met and married a pretty mare named Caraway Rye, who joined him in the family business. Eventually they took over operation of the mill as Einkorn's two brothers got married and moved away. Einkorn and Caraway Rye had two foals, Durham Red, and his little sister. Sorghum Sweet. Durham Red spent his foalhood in the mill, helping to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. He did get some schooling, when it wasn't too busy and his parents could spare him. What he didn't learn in school, he learned from books. He was at the library in Fillydelphia as often as he could get there, and checked out books on everything from Equestria Ancient History to modern engineering and mechanics. When Durham Red learned about the new pony settlement of Appleloosa, he decided to try his hoof at running his own mill. A different sort than the water wheel run grist mill his grandsire had built. He wanted to build a wind powered mill, just outside of the town. That way the farmers could sell their grain and flour to the townspeople rather than sending it downriver, and needing to ship it back at greater expense. Fortunately his uncle Emmer and his wife, a pretty donkey named Wilhelmina, had moved back to Fillydelphia, and could take over his place at the mill. His cousin, Franz Mueller, decided that running a mill on the edge of pony civilization would be a great adventure. He volunteered to accompany Durham to Appleloosa and help him build and run it. Durham's sister, Sorghum Sweet, was annoyed that she wasn't allowed to go with her big brother, but she was still to young to be any real help, and probably more of a hindrance. Durham promised her she could come visit when the new windmill was all set up and ready for business. Character Summary: Durham Red's windmill is located just outside of Appleloosa, nearish to the railroad tracks. Local farmers on the Saddleveil Plains send him grain, which he grinds into flour to sell to the Appleloosans. And with so many members of the Apple family living there, they go through a lot of flour. The great pie battle with the nearby buffalo tribe used nearly one hundred sacks alone! Durham Red is dedicated to his work. He prides himself on the quality of his finished product. Even though he is the mill owner now, he still sweeps the floor every day, to keep himself grounded. And on days when the wind just won't turn the sails (and there isn't a pegasus around to bring a breeze), he and Franz take turns running the treadmill that turns the shaft. Durham Red and Franz Mueller are still young males though, and like to have a bit of fun every now and then. Franz learned how to make moonshine liquor from an old prospector pony, and Durham set up a still in back of the storage shed. They take the leftover grain and turn it into firewater whiskey, which they will sometimes share with their friends among the other young stallions in town. They also have races every so often with the young buffalo bulls, to see who is the fastest on four hooves. Durham usually loses, but it's great fun anyhow. Living with his cousin is fine, and a lot of fun, but Durham Red would love to have a fillyfriend. Goodness knows there are a lot of pretty fillies in Appleloosa, but he's never been able to ask one on a date. Franz, being a mule, is completely unhelpful in this regard. "What do you want some filly around fer?" he asks. "They're nothin' but trouble, I tell ya." His sister is the complete opposite. "Why don't you have a filly friend yet?" Sorghum Sweet will ask every time she visits. Worse than his mother, who also reminds him with not so subtle hints that she would love some grandfoals someday, preferably soon. It isn't that he is shy, it's that if anything, he's too bold. Durham Red always shows off around the pretty fillies in town, and inevitably hurts himself, or otherwise embarrasses himself in front of them. Then they laugh and walk away. Every darn time *sigh*. One day, he'll learn. Maybe. His head can be as hard as a millstone sometimes. Durham Red's two loves are his job, and his family. He loves being an independent pony, running his own windmill. He loves having his little sister visit, even if she can be annoying at times, and he loves living with his cousin and sharing the family business with him. He dislikes the weevils and mice that sometimes get into his grain and flour sacks, making a mess and ruining the product. He also dislikes the splitting headaches he gets from drinking too much homemade firewater whiskey. And he really dislikes his mother nagging him to have babies already, but not enough to stop talking to her. She is his mother, after all.
8. Fuchsia Blooms finally arrived at the front doors to the convention building. She would have liked to get there earlier, but she had to take care of the morning deliveries before closing the shop for the day. Even so, she wasn't too terribly late. Sure, she had missed the opening ceremony, but there were still interesting panels to attend. Fuchsia giggled to herself. Imagine, a full grown pony like her attending a Daring Do convention! She wasn't a huge fan of the series, but she did like a good adventure story, and there weren't many better than the Daring Do books. Even if they were written for fillies and colts. But she had heard about the other conventions held around Equestria, and decided it sounded like fun. And it was good to get away from the shop every once and awhile. The line outside looked daunting. Dozens of dejected looking ponies milled around. She caught parts of their conversation, something about the tickets being all sold out. And something else about a pegasus making extra badges, but who had since disappeared. It was a good thing she had pre-registered for her badge. It would be terrible if she had come all the way to Ponyville only to have to turn around and go home again. Fuchsia Blooms walked up to the pre-paid line, claimed her badge, and went inside. What chaos! Tons of ponies, of all ages, many dressed in character costumes. How delightful! She made a mental note to visit the vendor area to peruse the many items available for sale. But first, she was just in time for a panel on real archeology in Ballroom B.
9. I am interested as a veteran con-goer. How can I join?

11. Yay, my favorite pegasus from the original generation of My Little Pony! I love the fierce expression.
12. I picked Rapidfire because no one else was playing him, and even the Wiki page doesn't know what his colour scheme is. He seemed to be a good mystery pony to crush on. But I can change him to another Wonderbolt if necessary. EDIT: Changed the stallion in the story to Tornado Alley, former Wonderbolt recently retired. As for the cookie cutie mark, I think she equates baking cookies with happiness. Spending time with her grandmother, the warmth in the kitchen, the smells of melting chocolate. And sharing cookies with folks makes them like you more. As a shy pony who has a hard time making friends, the offering of a homemade cookie really helps break the tension of meeting someone new, or keeping up friendly relationships with others. Thats what her cutie mark means to her, being friendly and sharing happiness.
13. Edited to add character history and profile. Ready for review!
14. I need to do some research for the history of this character. Specifically the Royal Equestrian Army and the Wonderbolt Academy. Since she is loosely based on myself, her father and brother will military ponies.
15. Unless there is anything else you think she needs, I believe this application is ready for final approval. Do I need to change the title?
16. Okay, I've added a non-flower related hobby, dancing, and a dislike, spiders. I think more of her personality will reveal itself once I start roleplaying with her.
17. I'll flesh her out a little more. I just wanted to get her ready so I could start working on my other RP character, Snickerdoodle.
18. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria, Mane RP Name: Snickerdoodle Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Hazel green Coat: Vanilla Custard (off white) Mane/Tail: Cinnamon red. Not bright red like the candy, but soft brownish red like the spice. She wears her mane with bangs that curl around her ears, and her tail is medium length and straight. Physique: Snickerdoodle is a little taller than the average mare. She has strong shoulders, but is a little thick in the rump. She has double pierced ears, but doesn't always wear earrings. She likes to wear hoodies in winter, but usually not in the warmer months. Residence: She has a cottage near Froggy Bottom on the Great Nimbusgait Lakes. Occupation: Snickerdoodle works in the weather factory in Cloudsdale, making rainbows. Cutie Mark: Snickerdoodle was a late bloomer. She was already a filly, and still a blank flank. It wasn't fair! Her brother had known what he wanted to be since the first day he spread his wings and took flight. Slingshot was going to join the REA just like their father had. He wanted to work his way up the ranks, and ultimately become a member of the Royal Guard. He was one of the first foals in their class with a cutie mark, a star and chevron. Snickerdoodle was sure her cutie mark would be weather or flight related. After all, both her mother and grandmother were weather pegasi, wouldn't she be one too? But cloud busting just wasn't that interesting to her. And while she did love to fly, mainly she used it as an escape from the teasing of her peers. What Snickerdoodle loved, really loved, was baking cookies. Every summer she and her brother would stay at her Nana Noctilucentia's house in Trottingham. While Slingshot was outside playing soldier with the neighborhood colts, she would be in the kitchen with Nana, baking cookies of all sorts. Nana didn't use written recipes, she made each batch from memory. It didn't matter what you wanted to make, she knew exactly how much butter, flour, and sugar each type of cookie required. Snickerdoodle was fascinated by the process. She fluttered by her nana's side, and absorbed everything. Noctilucentia was happy to pass her knowledge on to her granddaughter. They spent many happy afternoons in the kitchen, making batch after batch of delicious cookies. Winter was raging across Equestria, and it was almost time for Hearths Warming Eve. Her class was having a party, and Snickerdoodle decided that she was going to bring her home baked cookies. After all, maybe her classmates wouldn't tease her about her blank flank with a mouth full of sugary goodness. She flew to Nana's house for a marathon baking session. Noctilucentia was delighted to help. They made chocolate chip, ginger snaps, oatmeal raisin, mint thins, macaroons, spritz, and of course, snickerdoodles. Snickerdoodle arrived at the party laden with bakery boxes. She was right, her classmates had indeed stopped teasing her. She was a blank flank no longer. Three perfectly delicious looking cookies adorned her hip. History: Snickerdoodle's father, Sliderule, is an authoritarian pegasus stallion, tall in stature with a brush cut mane. Her mother, Snowserra, is a sweet and bubbly pegasus mare. Her parents met when her father was still enlisted in the REA. After he retired from active duty, they got married and moved to Cloudsdale, where he became an engineer and she worked in the weather factory, making snowstorms. Snickerdoodle has a twin brother, Slingshot, who proudly claims he is the oldest because he was born a whole fifteen minutes before she was. She merely says she was enjoying having some space all to herself for awhile. Snickerdoodle and her brother Slingshot are opposites of each other. He is a gregarious, rough and tumble pony, and makes friends easily. She is more quiet and reserved, preferring to keep to herself. Growing up in Cloudsdale was pretty easy for both of them. There were plenty of foals for her brother to play with, and when she got overwhelmed, there were always lonely little clouds where she could retreat and enjoy the view in peace. In flight school Snickerdoodle excelled at the technical aspects of flying. She wasn't as fast or strong a flyer as her classmates. She would often hang back a little, to get a better view of how the course lay and where the obstacles were. She never finished first, but she never came in last, either. Some of the other foals in her class took this as a sign of weakness, but her accuracy scores always blew theirs out of the water. Also, Slingshot was her popular 'big' brother. Any pony who picked on his sister didn't stay in his good graces for long. Snickerdoodle applied to the Wonderbolt Academy partly to appease her father, who was proud of her brother for his military aspirations, but also because she had a fanfilly crush on Tornado Alley (recently retired from the Wonderbolts). She was accepted due to her technically precise flying skills, but she wasn't as fast, strong, or competitive as her classmates. And then there was… the incident at the bar. After a hard day of training, she joined a group of ponies going to the local watering hole. A few of the Wonderbolts were there, including her crush. Snickerdoodle drank a little too much cider, got a little too bold, and made an absolute fool of herself, flirting shamelessly with him in front of everypony. To his credit, Tornado Alley was an absolute gentlecolt about the whole thing. He made sure she got back to her dorm safely, and never mentioned the incident later to anypony. Snickerdoodle was absolutely mortified though, and left the academy shortly afterwards. Snickerdoodle works in the weather factory, making rainbows. It's a fine job, she enjoys working with colour, but it isn't really her passion. She would love to open her own bakery someday, but she knows that would be a lot of work for just one pegasus. She is saving up to visit her aunt Farratelle and uncle Spumoni in Roam, Itaily, where they have their own little corner sweet shop. Then she can get some real experience working in a professional kitchen, and some valuable advice in running a business. Character Summary: Snickerdoodle has a little house near the Nimbusgait Lakes that her father built for her. She likes the quiet of living on the ground, away from the larger pony settlements. In the evenings, when she isn't baking something in the kitchen, she is relaxing with a good book, or outside enjoying the evening air. She loves to fall asleep listening to the crickets and frogs chirping from Froggy Bottom. In the summer, she likes to go swimming in the lakes, and practices complicated dives from high above the deepest part of the water. Snickerdoodle usually keeps to herself, except when she drinks. When she's had a little too much, she looses her inhibitions and becomes very chatty, and flirtatious. She remembers all too well the incident at the Wonderbolts Academy though, and tries to have only one drink when she is out socially. When Snickerdoodle first meets new ponies, she will be friendly, but shy. If she has cookies, she will offer them one. She can make polite conversation, but unless the topic is one she cares about, the chatter will eventually die away into awkward silence. She is a very good listener though, and especially likes listening to other ponies tell stories. Sometime she will go out to open mic nights or poetry slams just to sit in the back with a lemon water and listen. Snickerdoodle doesn't have many friends. She is friendly with everypony, but not really close to them. She frequently brings cookies to work for birthdays, holidays, or when somepony is retiring, or getting promoted. Many of her coworkers like her and appreciate the baked goods, but she doesn't hang out with them around the water cooler, so they don't really know her that well. Snickerdoodle does have a few work friends though. Lime Jelly works in the cloud department, and they often eat lunch together. Nana Knits was friends with her own Nana Noctilucentia when they were young mares, and will often tell stories about their adventurous youth. But aside from an occasional trip to the bar after a long day, she doesn't really see her coworkers outside of the factory.
19. Crescent - By making things I mean knitting, crocheting, sewing, that sort of stuff. I also enjoy baking cookies and making jam.
20. I still need to write the story of her cutie mark, and her family history and character summary. I have ideas, but they need to be fleshed out some more. EDIT #1 Cutie mark story finished. EDIT #2 History story finished. EDIT #3 Character summary finished. Ready!
21. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Fuchsia Blooms Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Unicorn Eye colour: Lime Green Coat: Creamy White, with freckles on her nose Mane/Tail: Wavy, not curly, hot pink with paler pink streaks Physique: Fuchsia is average height for a mare her age. She is curvy, rather than slender. Residence: Garden Gait Occupation: She owns and operates a flower shop called The Green Hoof in Canterlot. Cutie Mark: The story of Fuchsia Blooms' cutie mark begins with her mother. Ever since she was a small foal, she would follow her mother around as she puttered in the garden. Fuchsia loved to help water the plants, and pull up the weeds. Sometimes the particularly stubborn ones would send her flying rump over teakettle when they finally gave way. For her birthday, her mother gave her a spot in the garden, and a packet of flower seeds. This patch was to be all hers to care for. She took to it with zeal. Fuchsia carefully planted the seeds, kept them watered and fertilized, and made sure they had enough sun. She mercilessly pulled any weeds that threatened her little seedlings. She watched them grow with pride. One day she noticed the buds were just about to open. She watched with bated breath, as the first bloom slowly opened. It was like magic! Fuchsia ran with giddy excitement to the house, calling "Mama, Mama come see!" Her mother, who had been watching out the window the whole time, came out to the garden with a smile. "Look Mama, look!" Fuchsia cried. "I see," said her mother. "But haven't you noticed something else, dear?" "No, Mama, what?" Fuchsia asked with confusion. Did her mother not see her flowers were blooming? "Look at your flank, dearest." Another flower had bloomed. A perfect pink five petaled blossom, with pale green leaves. History: Fuchsia Blooms was born and raised in Canterlot. Her father, a distinguished looking unicorn named Fullerton, is a traveling salespony for Equus Libris, He travels all across Equestria selling almanacs and encyclopedias. Sometimes he also sells recipe books and collections of fables for foals. He always made sure to bring a little trinket home from each city or town he visited for his little girl. Her mother, a soft and gentle unicorn named Morning Glory, is a gardener, and keeps several plots and patches in the yard behind their modest home. She grows tomatoes, carrots, beans, broccoli, pumpkins, and radishes in the vegetable patch, and crocus, daffodils, tulips, iris, lilies, asters, gladiolas, and chrysanthemums in the flower beds. Not roses, though, she doesn't like their prickliness. (Aside to Bramble Rose - her great grandmare, Wisteria Lane, was a genteel earth pony from Manehattan) As a foal, her mother would bring her out into the garden every day, and let her chase butterflies, watch the ants, or just nap in the sun. Soon, Fuchsia Blooms would start helping her mother with the gardening tasks. Morning Glory taught her daughter everything she knew about gardening and growing plants. She taught spells to keep the bugs off the leaves, and to prevent blight. She taught her how to test the soil, and make adjustments in the moisture and acidity levels. She taught the best times to plant, and when to harvest. While all this was useful information, Fuchsia was far more interested in the flower beds than the vegetable patches. Carrots and tomatoes were okay, but she didn't care for radishes or pumpkin. And definitely not broccoli, yuk. But flowers, those were another story. They were bright and colourful. They drew bees and butterflies to the yard, and sometimes hummingbirds. Often they also drew neighboring ponies over for a visit, to enjoy the lovely blossoms in the spring and summertime. School for Fuchsia Blooms was not terribly difficult. The worst part of the schoolday was being stuck inside when the weather was nice. She always preferred to be outside, and would often be caught staring out the window rather than paying attention to her lessons. When she would get home, she would always take her homework out to the yard and sit in the grass, or in the shed at the potting table. The smell of flowers and soil was comforting and helped her think. When she became an adult, Fuchsia Blooms moved out of her parents home to a little house in nearby Garden Gait. She converted the back yard into a greenhouse, so she can grow flowers year round. She opened a flower shop in Canterlot called The Green Hoof, named in honor of her mother, where she sells bouquets, corsages, and other floral arrangements to the local ponies. Character Summary: Fuchsia Blooms absolutely adores flowers. To her, flowers mean love. She enjoys growing them from tiny seeds to full grown plants. She likes to cross breed them for interesting and beautiful new varieties. She especially loves roses, lilies, and orchids. Fuchsia Blooms runs a florist shop because she wants to share her love of flowers with everypony. She especially likes it when shy young colts and not so young stallions come in to her shop to buy flowers for their special somepony. She delights in being able to help them pick out the perfect gift, be it a full bouquet, or a single stem. When you first enter The Green Hoof, Fuchsia Blooms will greet you from behind the counter, where she is most likely creating new floral arrangements, or checking on delivery orders. She wears a green apron with a five petaled flower embroidered on the front. If you seem uncertain about what you want, she will happily come out into the shop to show you the different blossoms she has, and ask questions in order to design for you the perfect bouquet. Before you leave, she will cast a spell on the flowers so they will stay fresh and fragrant for twice as long as they normally would. It's part of the service she offers, and doesn't cost any extra. Fuchsia Blooms does this because she wants the recipients of her flowers to get as much enjoyment out of them as possible. The shop also has a resident hummingbird. His name is Flit, and he has his own perch and a little birdhouse in the rafters. He prefers to fly free among the flowers though, and sometimes takes a nap in Fuchsia Blooms mane, right behind her horn and between her ears. When she's at home, Fuchsia Blooms likes to putter around in her greenhouse. The orchids and roses take a lot of work, especially when she is trying to create a new hybrid. Afterwards she will relax on her sofa with a book on botany, or the language of flowers. Sometimes she likes to read adventure stories set in wild untamed jungles, and dream about visiting such places. What beautiful flowers must grow there! In the spring and summer, she invites a few of her neighbors over for garden parties, or attends their parties. She covets an invitation to the Grand Galloping Gala, so she can spend the evening happily wandering through the castle's gardens. And maybe, just maybe, meet another unicorn there who loves flowers and growing things as much as she does. As much as she loves helping other ponies with their romances, from a corsage for a first date to bouquets for a wedding, Fuchsia Blooms really doesn't have any pony to call her own. She would like to find a nice stallion someday, but it seems every one she meets is already involved with somepony else. It doesn't worry her though, she is happy on her own for now. She has her neighbors for company, and Flit to amuse her in the shop. When she isn't at the shop or in the greenhouse, Fuchsia Blooms loves to dance. She prefers more formal ballroom dancing, but an old fashioned country hoedown is great fun, too. Sometimes, when she's in a particularly good mood, she will hum quietly to herself and sashay around the shop, daydreaming of a dashing stallion with a rose caught between his teeth, who will sweep her off her hooves and lead her in a passionate Tango. She likes bees and butterflies and ladybugs, but Fuchsia Blooms does not like spiders. Yes, they can be beneficial, eating other bugs that might nibble on her plants. But they're also kinda creepy. She won't kill them, though. She sweeps the corners regularly to remove cobwebs, and any spiders she finds get carefully shooed outside.
22. From the album: Plush Ponies

This is a unicorn plush I made using a pattern by Eva Schiffer (digitalchangeling.com/ponypattern). I used orange plaid fleece for the pony, and red and orange yarn for the mane and tail. She has black button eyes, inspired by Neil Gaiman's novel Coraline. The flower pin is crochet.
23. Rosewind - I found him easily. He was gracious enough to let me use his drawing of Nightmare Moon as my new user icon.
