Starburst

If you have a chance you should boot and run the original server that we had created. We had a complete recreation of Ponyville, Sweet Apple Acres, etc. I'm sure if you rooted around through the odd 60 pages of archive you could find a really good picture or three of what it all looked like.

I know i disappeared, but would any one be willing to play. Sad to see the server died while i was gone. 

It's not so much that it died its that I stopped deciding to pay for hosting and all to run it, I was mostly using community donations to

pay for the server hosting costs, and most of the time the server didn't have more than 2 people on it at any given time.

I believe I still have the basic map files. You can ask anyone on skype on the website that knows me and I can get them to you.

I haven't kept the servers up since I discontinued its hosting. I don't really have any intention at the moment of continuing this as it requires a portion of my available memory to run while I'm doing other things. If one of the other moderators of the server wants access to the map files used for the server along with the save data I can zip the file and send it to them, but otherwise this is pretty much the end of the Ponyville Minecraft Server.

The server hasn't been updated yet, so don't update your client yet.

I don't know what to tell you. All of the ports are open and the server is up. Other people aren't having issues connecting, perhaps update your client?

I'm disappointed. After upgrading to 20 slots I still see barely enough ponies to count on one hand.

It's a convenient thing that Starburst wasn't wearing any clothes at the time, else she might have to peel them from her sweat soaked hooves.

Thank you I didn't have anything that couldn't be replace so if it was lost its fine. Thank you again for all the effort you put into the creation of this server and world it is the best i've ever played on.

it happened again I came up to the door to my house in ponyville at 245,-464 and i disconnected and cant reconnect try just deleting my character info ill start over at the spawn all i had was 7 bread and 11 wheat seeds like I said above nothing that can't be replaced.

Shadowrunner, you need to download Feed the beast and update direwolf20.

Wise, I might have to delete your character information because an action you did caused a bug in the server, that would delete all the items you had on you at the time, but anything you had stored in a chest should be safe.

Edit: I've pulled your character information from a backup yesterday. You should be able to connect now, with the items you had yesterday.

There are new terrain features generated at the following coordinates:

Volcano: 1363, 1763

Ice capped mountains: 1449, 1750

Three rubber trees: 990, 2087 ( Bring a boat )

With that comment, she picks up the Eclair she was given and takes a bite. [colour=#4b0082]"Not bad."[/colour] the mare says with a bit of enthusiasm. After finishing the eclair she licks her hooves and wipes off with a napkin, proceeding to wash the dessert away with a little bit of milk. She stands up from her chair and starts walking over to the bar to get a drink and suddenly feels a bit weak, falling over after tripping a little. She blinks a couple times and stumbles back to her feet, slowly moving over to the table to grab a glass and pour milk into it. She manages to pour a sip and drinks it, making her way back over to the table. When she arrives back she's a little short of breath. Is anyone else enjoying the server so far?

I've seen you attempt multiple connections, Perhaps the server software is a bit behind, or the client was updated. Let me update the server software.

Twilight forest is a good one to jump into first, its easy to gain access to.

I think I had an Ash tail coat when I quit playing and I was using the Vile striker with a Dark Thorn Shield.

I actually logged into my account a little while ago, I have the following:

Ash Tail Coat (Increased Freeze resist)

Ash Tail Cap

Mighty Defender

Cold Iron Carver

Vile Striker

1607 Unused Crystal Energy

100 Mist Energy

It still costs energy to delve down into the Clockworks but you can buy passes for the elevator with real money that disables the mist energy cost for using the elevators. I believe they may still have power surge weekends where lift costs are cut in half.

Ugh.. That's ridiculous. Ten floors a day isn't worth my time to be honest. I like the game. ( I've advanced quite far within the Clockworks, I have 4 Star gear ) but its disappointing when games have such a cash grab like that. It's not like there's any other way to upgrade your equipment.

You're obviously trying to connect using regular minecraft.

Re-read the first post of this topic. It has since changed. New software is required. Regular minecraft no longer can connect to the server.

You need to download "Feed the beast". Google it or go read the first topic.

I don't think Voxel Bronycraft has FML.

I used to play Spiral Knights.. Does it still cost energy to descend into the maze or did they remove that to make people play more?

I went way past the first un loaded chunk and i still cant find rubber trees. Has anyone found one?

Rubber trees spawn in a certain biome that you have to find. Specifically, the forested hills biome.

If you find an area that is about 99% trees, 1% other, you've likely found the right place.

Look for trees that have two leaf blocks sticking up from the center of the trees. Those are rubber trees.

Download Feed the beast, run it.

Create profile with your minecraft username and password.

Choose "Direwolf20 pack" from the list of mods to use and click log in.

When the client boots go into multiplayer and enter the server information, then click connect.

If you're still having problems after that let me know and I'll walk you through it on skype.
