I'd say fanfics are a highly possible source. After all, Derpy was deemed a mailmare before she even showed up as a delivery mare in Feeling Pinkie Keen. And that job seems to have stuck ever since. All it takes is one poplular person doing something for it to catch on.

So are all the main six required for this? Are the characters like baby babies, or like toddlers? Can they talk yet?

That whole Luna's Moon Colony thing the writers joked about might actually have the a little truth to it.

This was a great issue! I can't wait for the next one! Also, apparently there is oxygen on the moon, or ponies just don't breath. Though this comic might add a little fuel to those that think Luna was trapped ON the moon rather than in the moon. I'm excited for the next issue though! Maybe I'll wait to read it when it comes out until the arc finishes.

Don't forget that Princess Cadance was recently elected a new player as well. Gees, that's EVERY canon princess right there. What's up with that?
