This is what happens when I see a Magic card, and think "I could Pony that . . . . " Unfortunately, the scanner washed out some of the colours, like the grey tones in the mane/tail, and some of the bone accoutrements.© Immersa 2013

You know, I never even noticed all the Wonderbolts in that scene . . though there's Soarin' walking with a pie, and another Soarin' at the foreground table second from the right. Nine unique Wonderbolts, huh? Okay, maybe *all* was a bit much, but I can see getting another 3-4 names canonized. That would bring to total up to what? Eight? Or maybe there's only ever an active roster of 6 pegasii at any one time, going by the flight team in the Sonic Rainboom episode. Either way, December 15th isn't going to come fast enough.

MyLittlePonyTales, you took the exact thoughts out of my head. Can't begin to express how excited I am to see Dash, Spitfire and Soarin'. Unless I missed a memo somewhere, we'll probably get official names/designs of all the 'Bolts as well?

I dunno, Wizards of the Coast prints the cards ^^ I just altered the art (read: painted on the cards) at a friend's request because they wanted something 20% cooler for their Commander/EDH deck -

Drawn for EqD's Artist Training Ground II, day 11 {words removed by Staff} Been a while since I've put anything up here, let alone anything that has colour on it! Diamond Tiara receiving some care from Pulse (paramedic OC pony I sketched a while back). DT looks rather adorable, I think. This must have taken place before she became the unpleasant filly she is now. . . . unsure about Pulse's colour scheme. Going to work on that when I find time, maybe . . .© Immersa 2012

I haven't played CoH/CoV in a long time, even after they made most of it free to play. . . . I might have to do something similar to my characters ^^ -

I wasn't along the path of the full eclipse this time, only a vaguely partial one for me, and right around sunset . . . the pictures I've seen of it are absolutely gorgeous! That one in the first post is kind of haunting with the annular ring visible through the cloudcover.

There are some similarities I can see as well, but the record player is fairly standard and easy to animate upon. The CMCs vs. Angie, I can see shared expressions, but the CMC are moving too fast for my eyes to pick out whether Angie was a recolor, or hand-drawn pixels. It's definitely different frames than the Vinyl one that 'Tales linked to, though. Similar, derivative, copy, whatever, it's still good work. I'm not going to split hairs about it ^^ -
Elementals, nagas, lamias, flan, dryads . . . . those are just from the top of my head that havent' already been mentioned. D&D monster manuals and Final Fantasy monsters are a huge resource for this kind of thing ^^
