Equestrian (7/9)

  1. Adventivia cautiously listened to the Cyborg, who said she was LDEL6....something something. Adventivia didn't quite catch, or remember, the whole thing, so she'd just call her L for now. Adventivia had never heard of this 'CDSM' place L was talking about, but with the mention of seizing the world for resources and extermination if she didn't cooperate she didn't think it was as friendly a place as Equestria. "What should I do?" Adventivia pondered, "If I help her, she says I'll get some kind of 'house cell', but what even is that? Like, a jail cell? No. That's not what a hero would do. But.....what can I do? She seems to trust me. I could tell her how strong heroes are! But....then she'll come back with strong people to fight us with. If I tell her heroes are really weak though.......ugh, then she could start attacking everypony she meets! What if I...." Adventivia trailed off in her mind, having thought up the perfect solution. "Sure!" Adventivia said gleefully, "I'll help you. I don't know what kind of work you're talking about, but if you want to know more about heroes then the only way I can tell you is to teach you what it means to be a hero. From this day forward, you're my apprentice!" She said with a determined look on her face that showed confidence, pointing a hoof at L. If this plan didn't work out for her she'd probably have to resort to plan B: subdue the villain.
  2. Gotta say, I probably love the art work the most! It's so well done!
  3. Adventivia covered her face when the being crashed in front of her, shielding her face from the dust and debris, a learned habit of hers from watching ponies that were actually affected by it. When she was able to see what exactly had landed in front of her she saw what appeared to be some sort of cyborg pony. She'd heard of many ponies that augmented themselves with suits of metal, or more direct implants, and had even worked with a few. This pony, however, was very odd. Even the way she spoke seemed out of the ordinary. “bio-magitech life from? No marks of ownership or magitech. Explain yourself. Added wanted info: are you a ‘hero’ if not, ware may ‘heros’ be found? Explain or have wanted date removed by force.” "Bio-magi wha? Ownership?" Adventivia began, trying to make sense of everything while slowly backing away from the black tentacles, "What do you think I am? Some kind of house plant? Yeah, I'm a hero, but who, and what, are you?" "And what does she mean by 'removed by force'?" Adventivia pondered, not really wanting to know the answer to that question. She shuddered just thinking what the cyborg planned to do with the tentacles. Was it some form of telepathy? Or, more like mind control? Either way, she had a feeling her luck just turned bad......again.
  4. Adventivia was strolling along on her journey across Equestria. She'd been making good progress so far, and was learning a lot about what being a hero meant to different ponies. As an added benefit, ponies were also becoming gradually less afraid of her as word spread faster than she could. She took out her map once more, deciding which town she should visit next, when suddenly there was a loud crack of thunder. It made Adventivia jump upright, dropping her map. She began scanning the skies searching for the source of the thunder. "That's weird," she thought, scanning lower and lower for some sign of a dark cloud, "where'd that thunder come from?" Eventually, her eyes were scanning the horizon, and off to her left she saw a large plume of dust starting to rise. "What in the...?" She began, when she saw a figure flying away. Unsure of whether it was a hero or villain, Adventivia figured her best bet was to find out first hand. "Hey!" She yelled as loud as she could, waving her viney hooves to flag down the flyer, "What's going on in that city? Is everything okay?" She waited for a response. With luck, she wouldn't be making another mistake.
  5. Dang. I'm sorry to hear about that too. Take all the time you need.
  6. Storm was probably thinking along the lines of the show, seeing Twilight as the "leader" of her friends. But, yeah, since MrCry didn't put themselves as one of the elements I suspect they'll be the storyteller and NPCs.
  7. I was hoping to be the Knight of Laughter. Was planning on him being a sort of clumsy rogue character.
  8. 5 outta, what, 7 or 8? Yeah, we're doin' pretty good right now.
  9. Had a con this weekend, sorry for the wait! I'm still here and willing!
  10. "Wh-what?" Adventivia stuttered, peeking out between her hooves, "Y-you mean you're - you're Blade Runner?!" She had heard the stories from the other students. It seemed so far fetched, how could they have been anything more? I mean, ghosts, demons, seriously?! Then again, the teachers had never outright denied Blade Runner's existence. But, everything about this guy matched the stories! Well, except for him being 20 stories tall. It was a lot for Adventivia to take in. "W-wait a sec! Hold on! You said that little filly I saved, she was a demon? How was I supposed to know?! All I saw was some guy swinging a sword at a filly and-" Adventivia's confusion began to mix with some anger as she picked her head up from the ground pondering this recent development. "Why the hay didn't you just tell me who you were from the beginning?!" She stood up, pointing a hoof at Runner. "I mean, you're the Blade Runner! You made me think you were some kind of villain!" With her anger burned off, reality began to sink in on Adventivia. "And.....I'm the one that helped a demon get away." She sat down and groaned, putting her head in her hooves. "And here I thought I was finally starting to become a hero. Instead, I've let a villain get away." If Adventivia could physically cry, she would. "I'm the worst hero ever!" With that last outburst, she ran off into the misty town, not caring where she ended up.
  11. So, has anybody gotten any word from MrCry on this? It's been a while, and I'd hate to see people lose interest because it sat for too long.
  12. Adventivia was beside herself, figuratively speaking, out of confusion of what her next move should be and because her soul might as well have jumped from her body as soon as the Unicorn began screeching. She could hardly believe it. He'd seen her sneak attack coming a mile away! And what exactly did he mean when he said he could see all of her? Like, he could see through the ground? Those questions, however, were as likely to get asked as Adventivia's chance of winning this fight. "Just what kind of villain is he?" She hadn't even managed to grab hold of him while he was right in front of her! To make matters worse, there was far from enough energy for her to absorb from other sources to even the playing field. 'Sometimes it is wiser to run than to fight, but always remain calm, not just for yourself, but for those around you as well.' a teacher's lesson echoed in her head, unfortunately drowned out by her fear. She...........she didn't have a choice! She had to run! She looked around frantically, but where could she go?! He was so fast, no matter where she went he'd catch her! She fell to the ground, covering her face in hopelessness. There wasn't anything she could do, but she had to get away from this.........this '......monster......' Was he like she'd been? Surely she couldn't have been the first, or the last, who misunderstood the difference between good and evil when they first started out. Could she even talk any sense into someone that looked like......that? She certainly wouldn't have when she was in a rage, but this seemed like her only hope right now. Still cowering, she began to speak. "Wh-why do you have to be evil?" She cried, "You don't have to be evil! I used to be bad too! Ma-maybe we're not so different! You can be good too! It's not as hard as it seems! We can be good together! W-w-w-we....." She began to babble. She had nothing left.
  13. Well, anyway, if we're saying what elements we'd like our characters to be I'd like Laughter, if nobody minds.
