  1. Hey bronies, know it's short notice, but there is an interview with Tara Strong, the voice actress who plays Twilight Sparkle, here: http://918thefan.com/. It's in an hour, so after it's over I'll probably delete this topic. EDIT: For those who missed it, the interview was recorded and will be up on the 91.8 The Fan site in a few days.
  2. We haven't really seen any parent ponies in the series, I know. However, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom at least have sisters. We haven't seen anything of Scootaloo's family yet. Also, I brought this question up in the chat, and someone mentioned that Scootaloo doesn't live in Cloudsdale. Which is odd, the only other two Pegasi in Ponyville that we've seen are Rainbow Dash, who does live in the clouds, and Fluttershy, who may or may not live in the clouds. Was Scootaloo adopted by Earth ponies?
  3. I was thinking that if a Unicorn and a Pegasus had a baby, they could potentially give birth to a unisus. So I was wondering if different types of ponies (Earth, Unicorn, Pegasus) could have babies together. I mean, anatomically, there doesn't seem to be a problem. But is that something that's a taboo in pony society?
  4. I think you mean Daft Pony.
  5. Sadly, given the logo those are actually G4 toys. The G3.5 logo was different... But admittedly the toys don't look like their cartoon counterparts very much. Princess Celestia is PINK in most of the toys, yet WHITE IN THE BOX ART AND CARTOON... Ah, you're right. The ponies remind me of the G3 babies, with the large heads. Anyway, I don't think this toy exists. Couldn't find it on Amazon, not to mention if it's G4 that is totally Scootaloo and not Apple Bloom.
  6. Can we make a private RP about this?
  7. Ya'll have seen this already, right?: http://msmagazine.com/blog/blog/2010/12 ... ming-pony/ And Faust's reply: http://msmagazine.com/blog/blog/2010/12 ... -rebuttal/
  8. Heard about it, hadn't gotten to see it yet. Thanks. Godamnit. I hate it when non-furs twist stuff like that. Makes a bad name for the rest of the fandom. She is a local to my general area; the ironic part is that she doesn't participate in the fandom at all, doesn't do conventions, or associate with the locals, etc. She just likes to dress up in that fursuit, and well get the $$$ for dong so for TLC. YOU KNOW WHO SHE IS?!
  9. Hold up, it appears Apple Bloom WAS in the G3 series. At least the toy line. But that LOOKS a lot more like Scootaloo...She's even a Pegasus. Toy fail?
  10. I was going to a site one day, and generally I had to sit through an ad before fully being able to enter the site. For some reason, that day I decided to watch, instead of flipping to a new tab and doing something else until it was over. It was an ad for www.hubworld.com. I noticed as it flipped through different shows that one was a new My Little Pony show. I was a fan back in the day, and I was curious. I'd also seen some of the G3 videos...Let's not talk about those. So I checked it out, and it was actually a good show.
  11. Raspberries with sugar sprinkled on them. Also, we we don't have apples in the house, I'm like--MOM, I AM EATING THIS JUNKFOOD BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE FRUIT Naw, not really. But I don't eat oranges, and canned fruit is not teh real fruitz.
  12. Did anyone see the episode of My Strange Addiction about the furry? Edit: I tracked it town for you:
  13. But she also makes weird brews and wears a hooded cloak.
  14. Someone is always not going to like your work. They thing is to always keep writing. Do it for yourself, not anyone else. If you're happy with it, that's what's important. Write for YOU.
  15. So far as I see, Celestia has been ruling Equestria for a long time. What happened before that is anyone's guess. Since we don't have any lore dating back more than a thousand years, anything (reasonable) is feasibly possible. If you want to make up some lore that comes before the thousand years, that would probably be fine, just clear it with the Admins before it becomes part of the RP story. Beyond that, Celestia, and now Luna, are the divine rulers of all of Equestria. They are Goddesses living on the Earth (or whatever planet the ponies live on). Now, Zecora comes from Africa, so her religious views could be more tribal. As for the other ponies in the rest of the land, they worship the Goddesses of the sun and moon. That may also be why Zecora lives in a forest rather than a town. She may not have the same beliefs as the other ponies do. Being alone let's her practice her magical (Wiccan?) arts, without interference or skepticism.
  16. We were chatting just now, and someone said something about Canterville. I assume they meant Canterlot. Anyway, I wrote this in the chat, while others threw out a few other ideas. (PS: It was Derpy.) That would be an intresting fic... Long ago, the city of Canterlot was secured to a mountain stronghold. But it was not to last. The shining city overlooked the peaceful village of Ponyville. And even with all her power, Celestia could not prevent the tragedy. Several years after the accident, ponies are looking for the true cause of the monstrous avalance that covered their city and brought it to ruin. Conspiracy? Sabotage? Perhaps this was Luna's true revenge... Forced to live their life in the ruins of Canterlot, and what is left of Ponyville, they have combined forces to create: Canterville! Still suffering from the events all those years ago, the fillies and colts of that time must now pick up where their parents left off. The brave and few, they must do all they can to unravel the secret of Ponyville's demise...and Centerville's creation. The young ponies must discover who their true friends are....and who is planning to betray them to Princess Celestia. Amidst all their trials, they must uncover the secrets of friendship...and what lies under the ruins of Ponyville. Until then, their ancestors cannot be put to rest.
  17. Also, the colors seem a bit bright on the RD one. Same with the Vinyl Scratch, but just on the hair. Maybe it's just too late in the evening to be looking at a computer screen.
