  1. Well, I (unfortunately) have the terrible benefit of WORKING at McDs.

The toys are actually pretty nice. If other McDonalds are set up like mine the boxes come in orders of two:

1st box: Rarity & Pinkie Pie with a higher ratio of Pinkie.

2nd box: Fluttershy & Twilight Sparkle with higher ratio of Twi

3rd box: Applejack & Lily Blossom with a higher ratio of AJ

4th box: Cheerilee & Rainbow Dash with more RD

    5th box: Whatever's left.

after that, it goes to a mixture of whatever toys are left, or the cycle repeats, depending on how many boxes are ordered. My store has ~10-12 boxes, and after being on the toys what...2 days, having started on the 9th around 6am, we're already almost out of our second box.

So, these toys are going like wildfire. Get 'em fast. RULL FAST. Every time I see a little girl get one I get one I'm like 'onelessforme onelessforme onelessforme'....even though I have all that have been put out...and have dibs on the display case......o///o' heh.

    Bon Bon

Bonnie could barely look up from the pavement as she walked next to Lyra. They were close--she could feel it. Every inch of her body was trembling with apprehension. Oh, how she longed to get this over with. She was already completely positive that there would be no approval from either of their parents, and so in all actuality, this was all just a formality. She wanted the most important ponies in her life to know--she was a filly fooler--through and through, and Lyra was the light of her life.

As they neared Lyra's home, Bon Bon felt her feet stop, glued like anchors to the bottom of the see, and she stared forward, her heartbeat thudding in her ears noisily. She was absolutely terrified.

[[sorry so short, but it's a start, right?! :D]]

  3. Cerena turned to Princess Luna, mouth open, her tongue still barbed as she spoke, "Well, even if it is from your mother, that's no excuse to treat somepony that way!" She tried to maintain a look of anger, but at the glum, hollowed look on Luna's face, she found she could not hold up such a front. She sighed, blowing her hair up out of her face before turning away from the princess of night, "You don't have to be all perfect, y'know? Even....even if you are a princess....you're still a pony deep down..."

She couldn't even stop the words as they plummeted out of her mouth. A moment ago, she would never have spoken so freely to Luna, and yet here she was now, letting the words flow like a waterfall from her lips, "You're really pretty and nice and all, but you're also kind of.....well, you're so STIFF! Like....like you don't even enjoy what you're doing or something....like even your sister does fun stuff every now and then....I've heard she likes to play little jokes on ponies and stuff....and that she's always out with the ponies that beat Nightmare Moon and--"

She stopped, as she realized she had just brought up the princess' dark past, and bit her lip tentatively, still refusing to look at the princess, "I--I think....in my own, personal opinion, anyway...that one mistake--no matter how grand--isn't worth living....a forced life afterwards...."

She huffed another sigh, "Listen to me. Babbling on about stupid things...I'm sorry about your crown. It really was an accident--I would never normally put any sort of jewelry in my mouth...especially that of princesses such as yourself...."

  4. "Are...are you sure that's alright...? You could be turning down some business..." Even though he said it, as he glanced at the empty streets outside, he doubted it would occur. Today was a very quiet day, even for the normally hustle and bustle city of Canterlot, "But if you're sure....a cup of tea does sound absolutely wonderful...perhaps we could continue our talk...maybe you'd have a good idea of what would be a nice fit for my daughter."

He quietly followed the stallion off towards his living quarters, mouth watering at the thought of a hot cup of tea.

  5. Flitwink blinked and gave a soft smile to the stallion, "Uh, well, actually I don't work today....so I thought, since I said I'd stop by and maybe check out some clothes for my daughter....maybe I'd do it today....y'know....before I forgot or something...."

He paled at that. Well, that was rude. Just saying that this pony was forgetful. How thoughtless, "I mean...not that I would forget, I mean. It's not like you're just another patient or something---not that any of my patients are....I mean, that is....I.....um..."

He stopped talking, fidgeting uncomfortably, "S-sorry....I don't know what I'm saying....let's start over....." He chuckled, "I'm just Flitwink today---and my friends call me Flink--not that we're friends..well, I'd like to be, of course...but I mean you don't have to be if you don't want to be friend it's just that it's hard for me to make friends because I don't get out of the hospital much and....."

He bit his tongue on purpose to stop himself from further embarrassment, "Thorry..."

  6. Finally! A day off. It had been a busy couple days, but he at last found himself able to take some time to get some things done--like stock up on food, and get a nice massage to relieve some of the stress he'd been feeling lately--but all of that would have to wait. He had felt bad not being able to go the very first day he had inquired about it, and now, two days having passed since he had spoken with the cobalt stallion, he was finally making his way towards the shop that he had spoken of, and as the sign came into view, he could barely help it as his feathers ruffled up suddenly with excitement, and he had to take a moment to stop himself from crashing into the store with a forced, calming breath.

When he finally calmed his oddly bundled nerves---a thing he had grown used to, despite the fact that he still did not fully understand what it was about this stallion that had him so riled up-- he proceeded to enter into the shop, and with a small tinkling of a bell, he slipped silently into the store, looking about at all of the garments that decored the shelves and walls, and finally, found his eyes drawn to the slumped over shape of a blue stallion, who looked bored to tears at the counter.

"Um....hello, Cross Stitch," Flitwink said softly, the base of his mane stood on end as he said the stallions name. Weird, "Um...I....I'm here...like I said I'd be...."

  7. Flitwink immediately brightened up with a wide, beaming smile, "Great! That sounds absolutely wonderful! I'll uh...I'll try to get there as soon as I'm able...."

He nudged the small package closer to the stallion, "Do remember to take this, as I've told you, once a day until it's gone, just munch a couple leaves. And if there is exceptionally bad pain, feel free to munch a little extra--but try not to use too much..."

Flitwink nodded politely to Cross Stitch, "Well, I'll be seeing you then..." That said, he headed out the door and headed for the next room, feeling altogether rather lightheaded--though he couldn't for the life of him figure out why. When he stepped into the room, he blinked a couple times as he saw a female mail pony--looking soaked to the bone, and trotted up to her, "So....what might your name be, miss?"

  8. Cerena looked, bewildered at the ungrateful princess, and suddenly she didn't care who she was--that was just rude!

"I'm sorry, your majesty, if I got my normal-pony germs all over your perfect little crown--but at least I FOUND it, didn't I? YOU were too busy trying to maintain your stupid appearance to even look for it!" She humphed at the princess angrily, whipping her head away, "If you were anypony else I'd say you were a stingy, self-centered little....GRRR!!"

Cerena stormed away, leaving the princess to continue or cease whatever it was she was doing with an agitated, "You're WELCOME!" as she vanished over the next hill rise.

  9. [[i'm going to go ahead and assume that you're referring to the front desk of the hospital, as it wouldn't make much sense if you were referring to someplace else. XD]]

The nurse at the counter, normally used to the male mail pony that came this way, took one look at the soaked, quivering mail mare before her, and dropped all the letters she had received, "Oh my poor deary! You're not going anywhere like that! You'll get sick!"

She rushed over to the pegasi and ushered her with a firm shove towards an exam room, handing her a few soft towels to dry off, "Here, dear. Now you just rest on that table--a couple ponies can go thinking they have no mail for the day. You NEED to rest! Now, dry off while you wait. The doctor will be in in a few moments."

Without letting the pegasus argue, she was out the door and politely knocked on the door that doctor Flitwink was currently in, "Doctor, you have another patient that needs to see you as soon as possible."

Flitwink looked away from the small stallion before him, an odd bit of interest piqued within him, and for a moment he wished he could have more time with the blue earth pony, "Listen, I..." he had to think of a reason quickly, "I...would love to see some of your work sometime!"

Why was he asking this? He didn't normally take an interest in patients. He'd heard whole life stories before....why was he...? "Perhaps....we could meet when the hospital is not so busy..? Maybe....maybe I could purchase something from you for my daughter--fillies can never have too many gowns, you know!"

He chuckled awkwardly, hoping he didn't sound too...brash.

  10. Cerena cocked an eyebrow curiously at the princess as she tediously groomed herself, and plucked through her feathers. She looked at her filthy self and felt a little bad . With the princess distracted, she turned her attention to her tumbling trail, and rose to her hooves, quietly heading off towards a faint glimmer she saw near the first place where the flowers were smooshed to the earth.

As she approached, and cast her shadow over the area, the glimmer faded from the moonlight, and she had to squint to find the odd shape in the dark, and ultimately ended up finding it only by the coincidence of tripping over the pointy thing. She lifted off the earth and held it in the pearly sheen of the moon, checking to see that the regal crown of the night was not tattered. She debated a moment on where to carry it. Of course, it would be easiest to place it atop her head where it was supposed to rest, but that.....that would be most inappropriate. Not that she didn't want to, of course.....who didn't love a dashing tiara upon occasion?

She tucked it under her wing awkwardly, the round shape giving it a mind of its own as it slipped about, and as she headed back to Luna, she had to stop frequently to nose it back into her wing.

"Uh...here....here is your crown......uh..." with a light plop her wing slapped to her side and the crown popped forward, smacking her in the jaw just as she turned to reach for it, but she managed to turn quickly and catch it in her teeth--something she had avoided completely--with a soft CLAAANG---that seemed all too loud as it rang in her ear. She quickly put the crown in her hoof, looking as though she had just done something unthinkable, "S-sorry! I'm so sorry! Here!"

She thrusted the crown forward on her hoof towards the princess, trembling nervously, "And I...I'm sorry I laughed when you fell---are...are you okay...?"

  11. Cerena, for a brief moment, let out a ruckous laugh as the princess beamed at her, half-hovering next to her, having used her wings to catch up to Cerena. Then her laugh faded as the princess' hoof caught on an out of place rock, and sent her tumbling head over hooves forward.

Cerena could not help a polite curse under her breath as she watched the cobalt blue princess tumble through the petals, sending leaves and grass alike about in a whirl all around her, before finally coming to a halt as she arrived at the bottom of the hill. She raced after the alicorn, using her wings to propel her forward faster than she had been galloping, and was relieved when she saw the princess' head poke up, looking a little askew and mussed up from the tumble.

She sighed as she arrived at the princess' side, and collapsed on the ground next to her, "My goodness! You gave me such a fright, I thought you were seriously injured!" She panted lightly as she spoke to the princess, and could not help but to smile at the grass and petals thrown askew in her mane, in place of her crown that must have fallen from her brow in her tumble. Her eyes twinkled as she said light-heartedly, "Your highness, you seem to have lost your crown--and replaced it with a halo of grass!"

She giggled lightly at the notion, and as though to make up for the princess' moment of uncouth appearance, she too rolled around in the flowers a little, getting grass intertwined in her mane and petals in her feathers, "There!"

She beamed at the princess, "Now we're both the same!"

  12. Cerena opened her mouth to protest initially, then simply closed it and replaced her hoof on the ground from that of the Princess' receding hoof. She gave a modest shrug, "Suit yourself, then.....I'll wait at the end of the field if you can't keep up. But you should know..."

Cerena spread her wings and reared back, tossing her mane from her eyes before lunging out into the expanse of glowing buds, "You're missing out!"

Cerena ran quietly, though there was a peculiar mindless devil-may-care attitude to her as she galloped, letting the fragrant wind gust into her lungs, inhaling deeply with both her mouth and her nostrils flared as she galloped hard across the large clearing--much larger than it had seemed from above, it expanded a small surmount of two rolling hills, dancing wistfully in the night air as the moon brought out their pearly sheen.

Her wings flapped as she ran, though they did not take her off the ground, and though her hooves began to stain with the blush of the soil, and a few blades of grass tangled themselves in her hair, there was a certain...elegance to doing what she did. Frolicking, dancing, nickering among the milky flowers, catching petals in her mane, growing intoxicated with the scent of the flowers.

As she ran, doubling back on herself upon occasion to catch a second site of another flower, it seemed like the far side of the clearing was so far away. She was already panting, but the sweet intoxication of the night air kept her heart galloping forward, even as her body grew sore. She had almost lost all thought of the princess.

    BOWF BOWF BOWF!!

Holly wheezed as she tried to keep up with the excited animal, who had caught site of Gladwin again and was running back towards the griffon. Who....didn't have her cart. Holly slowed a bit as she approached Gladwin, looking about him, expecting it to be near. It was a good ways off--not a block, but a decent ways left behind the griffon. She frowned in annoyance and trotted to the cart, magicking the harness onto her own waist before huffing and heading towards the griffon, who appeared to have tackled somepony.

She inhaled a heated breath and huffed it out, glaring at the brown wings that faced her as she approached the farm thinking to herself in a huff, 'It'd better be one of the princesses fer him to leave mah cart!'

  14. Cerena was initially overjoyed with the princess' first statement of being her friend, but as it was clarified, she couldn't help but withdraw a little--though the smile on her face gave no hint of it--she was just like any other subject to her. Of course. How silly of her to think she may make friends with with the beautiful princess of night. Well, friendships didn't happened through words, did they?! She'd have to put some effort into MAKING friends--actual friends--with the princess.

"Well, that's wonderful!" She half-giggled as she spoke excitedly, "Well, I don't know about you, but I want to run in these flowers! Care to join me..." She extended a hoof towards the cobalt princess, "Friend?"

  15. Cerena smiled at seeing--if only for a moment--the princess' formal attitude slip into a brief state of awe at the overwhelming sensual onslaught--the beauty of the view, and the delicate perfume of the night air had gotten even to her. For a moment...she could swear she saw a glimpse of a normal pony--an immortal goddess of night--but a normal pony....somewhere deep....

She blushed, thinking she may have seen something she shouldn't have, and averted her gaze, "Um...I...I'm glad you like it....." She pawed the earth with a hoof, "Um....I don't know if this is....improper or anything....but....I know lot's of places like this.....there's quite a few you can fly to around different places....where you can see certain things...that only come out at night....astrological things...." she blinked and rolled her eyes away nervously, "Um....if...if you maybe...had some free time or whatever.....maybe we could um...do this again some time....maybe we could be....."

She swallowed hard, shaking in her horseshoes as she willed up the courage to say the last word, "F-friends!?"

  16. I was 6'4", the last time I bothered to check, or about 193 cm. for those of you who use metric or SI.

I don't know why, but I found this startling. O_O' Maybe it's because I associate you with quiet, huggable Armony....who is a tiny pony.....huh.

EDIT: YAAAY! BRONY STATUS!! this is my 500th post. I <3 you, Armony.

  17. Doubtful.

If the silly nilly antics of lying AJ, hateful Pinkie and FlutterB. is considered the 'dark side' of the pony characters, it just seems unlikely. I could see maybe something sad happening, but then turning out that it was nothing. Like....a pony gets called away maybe cuz their parents are sick or something, they overreact, then it turns out to be a stubbed hoof or something.

There has to be the element of gag somewhere.

  18. I understand. I feel dumb sometimes too. ._.' And sometimes useless. Like....why am I not in college right now....I never thought I'd be 20 and working FT....I wanted to be something.....I hate it when I talk to friends in college and they know smart things. It makes me feel like all of the knowledge I accumulated in High School and life is just nothing.

    .......

    Those stupid sandbags.
