  1. Breezy Swift- Favour 4 - Stress 0/20 Is summoning demons cheating? It can't be cheating, can it? They never said what wasn't cheating, and I'm just using my natural skills! The pegasus nodded at the purple unicorn. "The storeroom sounds like an easy place to start, and it sounds like the place where we could get the most items fastest." She swept her gaze along the other ponies, waving at the Zebra. She had a thing for them, after they'd helped her learn some of her dark summoning arts. Speaking of which... Breezy Swift half turned away and clapped her hoof down a half dozen times, looking at the swarm of eyes in front of her. Go to the bedroom and see if you can snare me anything from this list. she told them, laying her list down for her demons to see. In particular, look for the diary, but don't damage anything. Good luck. 1d6*3=15 (Luck roll for demons to find anything/avoid damaging things) The eyes vanished and Breezy scooped up her list, turning back as if nothing had happened. "After that I think the dining room would yield the most. But what if we have to cook things?" her imagination took a leap forward. "That would be bad!"
  2. "Why do you do the work of somepony all the way in Ponyville? Couldn't they come here themselves?" Free inquired. "You say it's part of your job, so what exactly do you do?" He snorted and brushed his mane aside. "Ah, sorry. That was probably too many questions at once. I didn't mean to intrude so much, my lady." His eyes followed the tilt of her head down to the overlay of the carpet, then up the rich oak shelves, all the elderly books and the wonderful scent of old books that followed them. One of the titles caught his eye, and he leant in and plucked it out delicately. "Ahh, Donkey Ote. Apparently it was the first actual piece of fiction, you know. Not political, or mythological, just the tale of an old donkey wanting an adventure. I think that it should be mandatory reading for everypony, but it's just such a loveable tale." he grinned winsomely. "I just recalled as well, I think there's a book in my own collection here..." He nosed the pile aside and pulled out the book she was looking for, placing it next to Donkey Ote. "I was planning to loan it myself." he admitted.
  3. "I was planning to hold this party within the consulate. It's pretty big and empty, I'm pretty much the only one there at the moment." Free told the others. "So I thought a nice cheery party would liven things up. Fancy dress, maybe, or just come as you please for those little nibbley things on sticks... and hor d'oeurves, of course. I'll try find someone to help cook as well." He looked at Hayseed, with a perfectly straight and sincere face. "I'm sure that juice harp of yours would be a big hit."
  4. Breezy Swift- Favour 4 - Stress 0/20 "Hmph." Breezy snorted. "Didn't see too much there at all." She tapped a hoof again and the eyes vanished just as she turned to the other ponies, Moonglow and Silver Stare, the unicorns, next to her. "Hi there! I'm Breezy Swift, nice you ship you! I mean, see you. Hi!" she grins easily. "I was just trying some things out. I might not be a unicorn, but I do have some supernatural skills."
  5. After what might have been a few minutes or as much as an hour, Valentine turned back to his Acrolytes, practising his stern yet inspiring gaze upon then. (Or at least hoping that was how it appeared.) "I'll get right to the point. As my acrolytes, you will be tested constantly, even when you sleep. Especially when you sleep." he glared at the two Imperial Guardsponies as he said that. "Regardless, my observations have come to the following conclusions. The planet of Buckinum will at this rate fall within three days. Given the deplorable state of the economy and their crime rates, I find this fact..." he paused for maximum effect. "...Irrelevant. However, the taint of the Dark Gods created this unrest and civil war. This taint is coming from Buckinum palace. It is my intention for us to strike their palace and remove the taint. I confess, the exact repurcussions of this are as of yet unknown, but at the least it will dishearten the Royalists." He used the term passingly, knowing they had no clue what it was about. "Lord Verrin will be pushing his forces hard, so we shall have to be rapid. I do have several ideas, but first I would like to hear yours. Tell me, acrolytes. The enemy king is in his castle. How shall we strike him?"
  6. Breezy Swift- Favour 4 - Stress 0/20 Breezy Swift looked slyly to the left and smiled at the other pony who has just spoken. "I dunno, but have you seen that dragon? Such a Tsundere." she whisperered. "He might look grumpy, but I bet he's quite romantic deep down. I wonder who he'd go with..." Breezy looked up, thinking to herself of perfect pairings and strange fictions once again. Her bronze outfit looked almost like armour, which was enhanced by the giant sword slung across her back. There simply wasn't anywhere else she could keep it, except in plain sight. "Well... I guess there's an easy way to find out just what that dragon's writing! I bet it's a confession about who he likes the most or something." Breezy Swift clapped a hoof down, her cutie mark glowing red for a moment. "Shadows... sneak up behind that dragon and read what he's writing!" she commanded to a small set of invisible eyes that had just appeared before her. "Find out what he thinks about me! I bet he loves my blue pelt, right?" http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3244746/ (Cunning roll = 5 x 2 = 10 ) Almost completely hidden in the shadows, her demon slunk towards Grimsby to read the note.
  7. There's no official post order, if you have something to say or do, then post. Try to post at least once a week, and obviously don't try and take every other post if you can.
  8. Free slumped back and closed his eyes, letting the music wash over his ears, and wash away his worries, at least for the time being. "Two beautiful skilled musicians... ah, you ladies have made my day all the much better." he smiled softly, tapping his hoof in time to the music. "Do you attend parties, I wonder? I was planning to hold one soon, for most of Canterlot... I'm sure some talented musicans would be more than welcome."
  9. Free coughed politely, trying not to glance at his own collapsed pile of books, where 'The Elements of Suprise' was hiding. "Ah, yes... I've seen that one recently..." Good, yes, that was entirely true, "But it doesn't look like it's where it should be, now does it? Why, out of curiousity, were you looking for a book like that?" he asked with a smile. Free lived on conversation, made his living out of it, and so he always tried to ingratiate himself to other ponies, or at least get a good working knowledge of just what everypony in the city did. "What's a pony such as yourself doing cramped away in this library anyway?" he asked. "It's an amazing day outside... it's where I'd prefer to be, you know?"
  10. ((OOC: The picture given wasn't quite intended to be the actual inquisitor, just to give an idea.)) "Ah, excellent. Well, now that we're all here..." he began, consulting his data-slate. "Or, almost all here. I believe we're still waiting on somepony, and Empress protect them if they aren't here within five." He looked around the group he had so far, running though his mental assessment. Chimera seems the most reliable, but perhaps not quite suited to leading just yet. Sergeant Hooves seems reliable enough, but all guards serving life crimes should be watched carefully. Frost... seemed like quite a pedantic psyker, hopefully his abilities would be useful though. Corporal Leadfarmer is something of an unknown, but he seems too headstrong. I suspect the chief acrolyte will have to be the Hospitalier... He made a point of ignoring the acrolytes in the room, checking in with the crew instead. "Are the drop pods prepared? Is my equipment ready in the armoury? I need a full analysis of Chaos taint across the planet." I wonder how long I can leave them there before one of them cracks. Valentine thought wryly.
  11. All fine. Anypony here played Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader/DeathWatch? Those are quite cool games, I reckon so.
  12. Looks fine, Boss. Only question is why he has a bolter round for a cutie mark, given that guard don't really use those sorts of weapons. Other than that, go ahead with it
  13. All characters are looking fine and dandy. The thread is up now, so report to the briefing room, ASAP! Others, feel free to appy here if you wish.
  14. The Gelded Mare, 100 kloms above planet Buckinum. "Would all acrolytes please report to the briefing room, repeat, all acrolytes to the briefing room. By the Empress's will, tarry not." A soft voice over the tannoy echoed through the long ship, bringing some sembelence of life back into it. The Gelded Mare had been parked above the planet for the past week now, and all the crew sat waiting orders. Only those few repair bots rushed about, their squeaking wheels ominously screeching down the corridors that in some cases stretched for over a kilometre. Checking his hooves absently in the briefing room sat the Inquisitor, a young looking stallion, black with a white mane. He wouldn't look out of place anywhere, really, but the telltale =][= shaped necklace gave off a deadly aura of it's own, marking this pony as one of great power, who could condemn a world to burn with a simple clap of his hooves. Behind him, and the thick tinted glass, the planet of Buckinum shook under the treads of many ponies fighting for their planet, and those warped ponies trying to snatch it from them. Some of the fires could be seen even from here, but for this last week the Inquisitor Valentine DeMare had done nothing but watch, watch and wait. Well, now that would change. He just prayed to the Empress that his acrolytes didn't end up as badly as the last batch... He straightened his black cape, mentally preparing himself for their arrival. "Thought for the day:" he began, as a small servo-skull, a pony skull implanted with cybernetics, flicked to life. "Ah... Friendship... is... hazardous. Yes." He coughed, and opened the doors up. It was only 1.2 kloms to their bunks, so they should be here soon... Valentine began to work his speech. "We shall strike their headquarters on our own, lightly armoured and armed. THey outnumber us only 100,000 to 1...." Putting his hat aside, DeMare thought that one over. Might need some work.
  15. Teleportation doesn't count, as it's instantaneous travel, so there's no actual speed. So I can cross Twilight and Pinkie Pie out... So running goes to AJ, and flying/fastest overall goes to Rainbow Dash Sonic Rainboom aaaaaaaaalllll the way
