  1. The warm sun beamed down on the Pink and her intrepid gator as they bounced their way down the path. There was a slight breeze and Pinkie found herself wanting to stop and whip a picnic out of nowhere. But no, she was in a race! She glanced around. There were ponies here and there though most not in view. Then she spied a cloud of dust coming closer and closer to her. "Woowee! Gang way everypony! Somepony's going all out through here!" The thunder of hooves sounded in her ears and she moved to the side of the trail so as not to be run over! And who should be coming down the path? It was Abby! The filly was galloping about as fast as Pinkie had ever seen a filly gallop! She was certainly of Apple blood! The only family with speed to compare would have to be Rainbow Dash's! "Wow! Way to go Abby!" Pinkie couldn't help but exclaim as the filly came running by. She waved and Abby didn't slow, whipping Pinkie around in circles and leaving her in dust and falling leaves. "Whew Gummy! These ponies are super serious about this!" The gator blinked. "Here comes somepony else!" A smaller could of dust was coming up fast! It was Zappers! Pinkie stayed where she was and cheered the young colt on! "Go go go! Run Zappers, you're doing great!" After a little time Pinkie continued her bounding pace, keeping her right on the heels of the other races without looking winded at all!
  2. Rainbow had been back and forth from AJ's room several time s over the past few hours. Each trip she tried to do something to help AJ is some small way. A pillow fluff, a glass of water, whatever she could think of. She wanted to make sure AJ knew she was there, that she was supportive, that she was strong for both of them! She was de termined to do this right. The whole thing! Basically the rest of her life with AJ. She was gonna be a changed pony! Of course she wouldn't get it right all the way, but she would try! She had checked in a Abby and Zappers even though she knew Big Mac was there to take care of them. She'd checked in with nurses when she saw them until they started to avoid her to get out of answering the same questions again and again. Rainbow knew somewhere in the back of her mind that she was tired but there was no way she was gonna act on that. Not with AJ going through such a painful time. She wished there was something she could do to take the pain away. That wasn't gonna happen. She just had to wait for their daughter to make her appearance! After a while a certain tall broke horned unicorn appeared on the scene. At first Rainbow couldn't figure out why Tempest had come to support them until she realized it was just that. Tempest was there to support them. They had become something of friends since the unicorn and her mare had begun frequenting Ponyville. There was something about Tempest that Rainbow had always liked. If anypony was a pillar of strength it was Tempest. The mare pushed up from her chair and took a step towards Tempest. “Dash, how’s she looking? Is she doing ok?” "Hey Tempest," She glanced back at AJ through the door. "She's uh, yah! She's doin' just fine. This one is just a little more difficult than the last one." She managed a weak smile. She knew AJ was strong enough to handle this but she wished it wasn't so painful for her. "AJ's strong, she and Ammy will be just fine!" She smiled again, this time a little stronger. "Thanks for coming." Then Moonlight appeared. Rainbow relaxed a little at the sight of her. Moonlight was always a breath of fresh air. She was the freshest pony around after all! Totally! Fer sure! She smiled. "Actually yeah, a glass of water would be good!" She was going to walk out into the waiting room but glanced back at AJ. "Could you uh, bring it in the room?" She didn't really want to be gone from her mare's side.
  3. "Now this is more like it!" Pinkie squealed with delight as she bounced into the glade. "It's so sunny here, and warm, and nice!" She wrung out the last bit of damp from her poofy mane and it sprung back it it's puffy place. "This would be a great place for Fluttershy's next birthday!" Bounce, bounce, bounce, down the dirt path leading through the idyllic scene. There were birds, and squirrels, and deer oh my! "Oh my gosh!" Pinkie planted her hooves on the path and started frantically sorting through her mane and then her tail. "Where, where, where? Ah!" She pulled her hoof out of her tail with a certain gator attached at the end. "Hey there Gummy! All the crazy of that stream back there made me totally forget you were along for the ride!" She held the gator out in front of her and grinned. "You're not made at me are you little guy?" The gator was still for a moment and then blinked his purple eyes in succession. "Whew! Thank goodness you're not mad! I don't know what I'd do if my favorite little gator in the whole wide world was upset with me!" Pinkie got up and bounced on. She glanced over her shoulder. "I wonder where Abby and Zappers got to?" The mare slowed her bounce, hoping the two younger ponies would catch up to her. Sure this was supposed to be a race, but that wasn't very fun without your friends by your side! (not gonna go all out)
  4. "Oh come on now Bons!" Lyra couldn't help but giggle at the mare's words. "You're gonna make me blush! I wonder if that would help sell our treats?" She winked at Bon Bon and then nodded as a certain unicorn made her way over to the cart. "Hi there Glitter Drops!" Lyra called out. It seemed Glitter and Tempest had become regulars in Ponyville as of late. That would have been fine and dandy except for...well...except for pretty much every pony in town was either slightly awkward around Tempest or downright afraid of the soldier turned wanderer turned northern warden and Glitter's paramour. "Just wait til you try these amazing bons bons! Made by Bon Bon herself of course!" Glitter smiled, trying not to notice the slight quail that passed over Bon Bon as they spoke. She knew her beloved had quite the reputation and only time had a chance at healing some of the trouble that had been caused. It was in the past now. Of course Tempest was still an imposing unicorn and she still had the power and strength to make ponies tremble, but her motives were changed. It wasn't worth trying to explain. As she'd thought before, these things just take time. Bits levitated to Bon Bon's cart and she looked through the assortment before her. "Hmmmmm, what do you think I'd like?" She asked Bon Bon while the scent of sweet treats tantalized her senses. Then the sounded of a dragon in the sky assailed her ears. Glitter glanced up as Spike gave a quick run down of what he could see. She smiled as she heard that Temmy was dropping her lead to assist some young ones in their quest. See, Tem Tem was changing, one heroic deed at a time! ---- Spike leaned over the side a little and waved down to Bon Bon as she called up to him. "Hi Bon Bon! Hi everypony! Yeah, doing good! Speaking of which, gotta get back to it!" The dragon used the scope to view what was happening out on course. "Spike and Owlawicious here with Eye in the Sky! Looks like events are unfolding out on the track! We've got a bunch of ponies on the far side of the bridge now, and others taking the high ground and avoiding the whole scene! There's Strong Copper and Tempest, galloping out in front, the bridge waaay behind them! Tongue Twister has made it over! Here comes Pinkie Pie! And we have Apple Bloom and Zap Apple too! Over they go! Wait...the water is raising! This flood is getting pretty intense! The water is going over the bridge and it looks like Apple Bloom is having some trouble out there! And she's back up! All of them are across!" Spike took a breath. That was a lot of action! "Good thing they all made it safely! Whoa! And there goes the bridge! Swept away by the storm! The others on the high ground are making their way back to the main trail now. This is quite a race mares and gentlecolts!"
  5. Pinkie bounded up ahead, the bridge growing smaller to view behind her. She was determined to find the end to this storm. It was totally ruining her party vibe, not that she would tell anypony that! "Hmm hmm hmm!" She hummed as she went, the gale roaring around her. She glanced back after a moment and... "Oh Celestia!" She shouted as she saw Apple Bloom get swept of the bridge. Pinkie had bounded back in a trice and was prepared to step back onto the bridge to haul the filly back up. However, Abby was strong and she managed to pull herself up and soon her and little Zap were safe on the far side! "Wow! That was a close one you guys!" She grinned. "This is some Running of the Leaves huh?" She wrapped a protective foreleg around Abby and Zap for just a moment. She couldn't help it! The pink really hoped the rest of the course wouldn't be as dangerous as this leg had been! Just as she was thinking that, she heard a huge cracking sound. Pinkie turned around just in time to see the whole bridge get swept away by the raging waters! "Uhhhh, maaaaaaybe we should try to catch up with the others." She suggested, trying to keep what she had just seen as light as she could. "Tempest and Strong Copper busted tail outta here a little bit ago! Those two are so so so serious! Ha! Either way, let's get moving, this storm is no bueno!" Pinkie made her way back up the trail. She should probably try to stick close by these two. They were pretty grown up now but hay filly, even grown ups needed help from time to time!
  6. She'd never felt so safe. There was something about Tempest, something that brought her fears to ease. She was a pillar of strength on the outside even if the inside didn't match. The nuzzle made Glitter feel warm despite the freezing cold of the wasteland they traveled through. "No, I think it's best to keep going." She tried to rearrange herself. Having her head lower than her heart was not good. It made her injury throb and ache. She was able to settle once her chin found Tempest's crest. She pushed through the mohawk of mane and closed her good eye. "It's not too much further. Couple hours at most I think." She let out a breath and it crystallized in the air. Up ahead Koda began barking. There was a stream up there, large enough to pose a bit of a threat. It was iced over however and with the amount of cold would probably support he weight of at leas tone pony...
  7. (sorry for delay...) Luna listened intently as the conversation flowed between Sombra and Twilight. He own magic flickered from time to time at any notion of an attack on Equestria. She would stand in the way of anything that came for her beloved lands. But, what was coming? By the sound of it, there might be a threat that would know the chinks in their armor. This did not bode well at all. The Princess sat in the throne, maintaining composure for the time being. She still did not trust what thus tyrant was up to. How could the ruler of the land trust a pony who had more than once sought to destroy it? But, the words he was giving seemed accurate for the time being and this threat he spoke of a real and present danger. "There seems to be only two possible solutions to this." She sipped her water as she mused. "We must either discover who owned this Stone of Remembrance or we must face this sorceress before she gains any more knowledge from the artifact." "Best course of action?" Luna knew that ruling meant deliberating and discussing for lengthy periods of time. This was something Twilight was good at, but Luna lost patience fairly easily these days.
  8. Glitter took her drink in her magic and headed off after her mare. She was impressed that Temmy had ventured down to the main gathering of ponies at all and now she' d be happy to enjoy her drink with Temy away from the others. She didn't mind. There was really only one pony Glitter had interest in spending quality time with right now. That was a certain pony who had perched once again on the bales of hay set up far in the distance. As she trotted towards their seating, Glitter thought back on all that had happened. She'd never felt so connected to somepony else. She hoped it would last. Temy seemed happy enough to stay in the cabin in the Frozen North with her...but for how long? Would she want to leave? Even the thought put a knot in Glitter's tummy. She wasn't sure how she would deal with being all alone again. For a while it had been fine. When her heart was broken and the only medicine was to gather pets and care for them. To range far and wide and put herself in the way of danger often. She wasn't broken anymore. Well, not really. Even the little time they had spend together had did a world of good. The pony that had caused her so much hurt, that Glitter had put on herself by her actions, was with her now. They had worked on some of the past, enough for Glitter to finally see a future. That future entailed Tempest. She wanted to be as close to the unicorn with the shattered horn as she possibly could. Glitter took a seat on the bales, watching the ceremony play out. When the two mares kissed and Tempest leaned on her, she felt her heart about to burst! Glitter leaned back, pressing herself as close as she could. She looked over and saw Tempest smiling. Smiling! "Oh!" The word escaped her muzzle before she could stop it. She blushed and smiled back. Then without think, she leaned in and kissed the mare at her side.
  9. "Wow Zappers!" Pinkie bounded towards the bridge. The contraption had begun to sway slightly in the wind. "Looks like every pony wants to race alongside you!" She commented with a giggle as not only Tempest but Strong Copper raced in to rescue the little guy. "Not sure what you guys are so worried about!" She called out, taking her first step onto the swaying planks. "Zappers is a big guy now. He's gonna be just fine." The last words came out through gritted teeth as Pinkie took a gander upstream. The river was swelling and fast! If they were going to get across while the bridge was still in one piece they better shake a leg! "Everypony across that's going across!" The Pinkie one shouted as she bounded forward. Her bouncing was probably not exactly what the bridge needed to keep itself together but too late for worrying about that too. The Pink one glanced back to see who was following her. She was about half way over when a big gust of wind made her sidestep into the rope 'railing'. "Eeek!" She narrowed her eyes and continued on. With her in front and those others behind Zap would be just fine...right? Bridge crossed!
  10. Lyra couldn't help but use her tail to swat her mare on the flank. "You got me wanting some bonbons, that's for sure!" The unicorn gave a sly wink before using her magic to levitate a tray of samples for the cart. She giggled and quickly chomped a piece of a sweet. It was chocolate, and brown sugar, and a little sea salt. It was heaven! "Dang filly! You've gotten better at making these... if that's even possible!" Lyra moved towards the stands, ready to help Bonnie Bon sell her delicious wares. "Get your ROFTL special bon bons here! Delicious treats you gotta eat! Try a sample and then buy a bag full!" She glanced back and smiled. "How was that?" --- Glitter Drops had watched Tempest until the unicorn was out of sight. She mused, somewhat giddy about the number of times they had been coming into town as of late. She hadn't realized how much she'd missed socializing. Now that her and Tempest were on the mend, Glitter felt good about taking strides back in to normal life. She still loved her job in the frozen north of course buuuuut, it was comforting to come into Ponyville with Tempest by her side. She heard the call for buying bon bons and her interest was peaked. Glitter got up from the stands and trotted down to Bon Bon and Lyra. "Those look really good!" She smiled with what she hoped was a natural smile. Having a partially blind eye to get used to did sometimes make her feel awkward. She was about to say more when a certain hot air balloon drifted into view. If one were to glance up they might be able to make out a purple and green young dragon with a mega phone... --- Radio static crackled through the air as the dragon tapped the receiving end of the bull horn. "Is this thing on?" He muttered to himself without realizing it was amplifying all through the stands. "Come on..." He growled and then realized it was indeed on. "Oh um, h-hi?" He cleared his throat and officially began speaking. "Welcome ladies and gentle colts to this the annual Running of the Leaves! I'm Spike the Dragon coming to you live from the air with coverage of this spectacular event!" "Who?" Owlawicious hooted from his vantage out the telescope lens Twilight had let them borrow. "O-oh! Oh yeah, and of course the famous Owlawicious is here to!" He nodded his head to the owl and continued. "I hope you all are ready for an action packed day as our runners have now entered the second phase of the race!" Spike ducked over to take a quick of the events. "It looks like the runners are making their way towards the babbling brook and it's uh..." He grimaced as he looked again. "It's doing a bit more than babbling today! There seems to be a storm brewing and the contestants are taking two different paths. The high ground, away from the water...(that would be my choice) cough... and the bridge across the water!" "As you all know we have some young runners this year, namely Apple Bloom and Zap Apple! I sure hope that little guy doesn't get himself into trouble out there." He took another look. "They are heading towards the bridge. It looks like Strong Copper and Tempest have come to aide the young colt!" "We'll give you more as it develops here at Ponyville's Eye in the Sky!" Spike turned to Owlawicious. "Eye in the Sky?" "Who?" "Eye in the Sky. That's us, I just thought of it now!" "Who?" "Us! I thought of it... oh never mind!" ---- Glitter's ears had perked up at the mention of Tempest. She wondered how her mare would respond. She'd seen lots of change in Temy over the past few months and so much of it for the good! Time would tell how much of that hard exterior would crack away from the unicorn.
  11. Hi Jupiter! Welcome to Canterlot! I hope you have fun here!
  12. Hi! Welcome! Hope you find what you're looking for in RP here
  13. Bridge! "Weeeeee!" Pinkie bounded up the path. "Hee hee hee!" The pink mare shouted with much unplaced jubilation as she faced the storm like a champ! "This is fun!" She turned to a very determined Tempest that was making her way down the same path, towards a swelling river and torrential storms...possibly. or maybe the weather pegasi would getting managed and it would be all butterflies and rainbows. You know, the lense through which Pinkie almost always saw the world? Yep the rose colored one! Well, unless she needed to get serious. She could do that, if she had to. But hay now, this was a fun race! She was gonna bring the party! "Hey you guys!" She bounced up to Abby and Zapper. "Can't believe you're already grown up enough for Running of the Leaves!" She reached over with her hooves wide to muss up the forelocks of the young mare and colt. "It's gonna be a party out here today!" As they neared the split in the path she went along the way Zap was taking. "Mind if I join you?" She smiled a huge smile and then giggled. "Not to help you or anything, you're grown up now Zap! I'll just bounce right along with you!" Pinkie bounded up ahead, noting the river and it's turmoil. There was the bridge, swaying slightly. It looked survivable enough... for the time being... "Whew! This is gonna be an adventure and a party huh?" Pinkie spoke to nopony in particular as an errant gust of wind puffed her poofy mane out to the side. "Where's Daring Do when you need her?" Pinkie giggle and made her way closer the the bridge...

  15. Hi! Yep still would love a pic if you're down to make one Thanks!
  16. "Ok now," Rainbow grimaced as some young fliers made their way towards a row of hoof. "You gotta bank!" She sighed, watching one of the youngsters careen over to the side and puff into a soft cloud. "Bank! Bank!" She yelled at the few still in the air. She'd thought they had been ready for something a little more interesting but maaaaaybe not! In the end only two of the fliers made their way through all three hoops. She let out a breath, puffing her forelocks up. "Alright you guys, bring it in!" tink tink tink She'd been working at the young fliers training program for a little while now. It had given her even more responsibility but it was good for her. This plus part time professorship at the Friendship school pus taking care of Zappers during the latter part of the pregnancy plus the duties of helping out at the farm house plus... All these things ran through her head s RD watched the little fliers make their way in. tink tink tink "Hey!" She patted them each on the back as they trotted in towards her. "Nice work everypony! What did I tell you guys about banking though?" One of the fillies was eyeing her oddly. "Um, what is it?" "Rainbow Dash?" The little pegasus huffed. "That bell you've been wearin' lately? tink tink tink "Yeah?" "it's um glowing and um," Rainbow sucked in a breath! It was time. "Ok, class dismissed. You guys get home safe, I gotta go!" She spoke the last words while already shooting through the air that divided Cloudsdale from Ponyville. "It's time!" She burst into Ponyville General and made a bee line for AJ. She didn't really ask she just followed the...well, the groaning screams? "Applejack!" RD entered the room and trotted up to her mare. "Are you ok? What do you need? Is the baby-" She took a step back, calming herself. She was going to be supportive and not get all crazy. "Looks like Ambrosia will be here soon!" She took a towel and dabbed AJ's brow quickly. "I'm here for you." ----- The next day came. RD wished fervently there was something she could do to lessen AJ's pain but sadly there wasn't much she could do. She stayed near AJ and was ready if she needed anything. Thankfully the Apple family had lots of delegates to to watch the little Zappers. She must have dozed off for a few minutes somehow. When she startled awake due to AJ's yell back in she went! "I think we might need a nurse in here!" After a few minutes she poked her head out of the room nd noticed Zapper and Big Mac had appeared! "Hey there big guy!" She ruffled Zap's head. He hadn't heard that last yell but he might hear the next... "Big Mac, you want to take Zap for a walk around the hospital to find," She thought for a moment. "Um, apple snacks? You know, the kind AJ likes?" (hopefully this post works sorry if I messed the order up or what someone was doing... can edit if needed )
  17. (post written between myself and SteelEagle) It was time! The music had changed to the processional, the atmosphere was balmy with just a hint of autumn chill to the breeze, the guests were waiting on bated breath! Windy Whistles, mother of the bride came first. It was easy to see she was giddy with pride as she made her way to her and Bow's seats up front. Next there was quite a line of bride's maids. They walked two by two up the straw covered isle. First came Fluttershy and Spike. The dragon trotted next to the pegasus only fussing with his bow tie once on the way. The two made their way side by side and then split one to either side when they got up front. These were followed by Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. The two fillies strutted up looking a little nervous and very excited. Scoots blushed furiously as she missed a step and almost stumbled. Thankfully Sweetie was by her side and they made their way up taking each side. Next came Gilda and Coloratura. A few ponies gasped to see the famous star at the wedding. The stage was flanked by friends and family as Pinkie Pie, RD's best mare walked out onto the isle. As per usually she couldn't keep with the processional rhythm and ended up bouncing her way to her place! Scootaloo raised an eyebrow and Pinkie mouthed "what?!" Before smiling and turning to face the guests. Now came Bow Hothoof with his beloved daughter on his arm. Having her supportive if not overly so father there helped calm Rainbow. She strutted down the isle smiling at friends, trying to ignore the thrum of her heart. Her father kissed her cheek and went to sit next to Windy while RD stood up front. Twilight walked the isle next, keeping in perfect beat with the music. She smiled and gave a wink to RD as she stood next to her good friend. "Relax," she smiled to her friend. RD visibly relaxed, her wings settling deeper next to her sides. Rarity was next, right before the flower fillies and then the bride! Rarity was stunning and caused a few more gasps as she made her way to stand opposite of Pinkie Pie as AJ's best mare. After all of this, the music changed again. Every creature stood and turned to face the back of the aisle… Applejack made her way down the aisle, or what counted for one, as the music reached its crescendo. Now that she was doing it, it felt like all the worry and all the concerns she had melted away. She saw RD, she saw her friends, she saw her family and she knew this was perfect. She walked down the aisle and reached where she was intended to be, Granny Smith there with her the whole way. When she reached the end, Granny Smith leaned in, gave her a kiss on the cheek with tears in her eyes, and let her go as she went to take a seat. They weren't going to force the elder Apple to stand and take part too much. She took her place across from RD, looking into her eyes and smiling to try and stop herself from crying with joy. She felt like such a little filly right now, giddy as could be, and forgetting for the moment just how tired she felt. Love could do that. Twilight looked at her friends. She wanted to explode with how happy she was for them, but they had chosen her as their officiant. She had taken that responsibility seriously and even now pushed down her trilling sense of happiness. As the two took their positions she smiled, and a book levitated in front of her. She had written down her remarks and other notes and had memorized it, but wasn't going to take chances. This needed to go perfectly. They deserved it. The music calmed and silenced itself when the book was raised, and Twilight began. "Hello everypony and welcome. We are here on this beautiful day to witness the act of love." "Love is the magic that has brought Applejack and Rainbow Dash together and through that magic, we are joining them today. But what do we mean by love? When we love, we see things other ponies do not see. We see beneath the surface, to the qualities which make our beloved special and unique. To see with loving eyes is to know inner beauty. And to be loved is to be seen, and known, as we are known to no other. One who loves us gives us a unique gift: a piece of ourselves, but a piece that only they could give us. We who love, can look at each other’s life and say, “I touched her life,” or, “I touched this life,” just as an artist might say, “I touched this canvas. Those brushstrokes in the corner of this magnificent mural, those are mine. I was a part of this life, and it is a part of me.” “Marriage is to belong to each other through a unique and diverse collaboration, like two threads crossing in different directions, yet weaving one tapestry together. The secret of love and marriage is to be in love and in trust, to know in your hearts that you want only the best for each other. It takes dedication. To stay open to one another, to learn and grow, even when it is difficult to do so. And it takes belief to go forward together without knowing what the future holds for you both. Belief in each other, and belief in yourself. The true art of married life is an inner journey unique to each yet jointly shared through trials and tribulations as readily as successes. It is a mutual enrichment, a give and take between two personalities. A mingling of two endowments, which diminishes neither, but enhances both. It is, ultimately, the emergence of the best selves of each pony. It is a supreme sharing of experience, and an adventure in the most intimate of relationships a pony can have. It is the joyous union of two ponies whose comradeship and mutual understanding have flowered in romance.” “Today Applejack and Rainbow Dash proclaim their love and commitment to the world and we gather here to rejoice, with and for them, in the new life they now undertake together." Twilight took a breath and looked at her friends. She wanted to just commit them to this union right then, but there was a way of doing this in a traditional sense and she knew if nothing else Applejack would appreciate it. "Now I ask you, Applejack and Rainbow Dash to take into consideration the magnitude and significance of the vows about to be taken. There are many implications involved when two people commit to a lifetime of love. Let us take a moment to reflect on those implications and acknowledge that along with the celebration of marriage there is depth and meaning in the pledges you will be making to one another and it is with much determination, acceptance, forgiveness, respect, loyalty and love that builds the foundation for a strong and enduring marriage. Rainbow Dash, having taken this into consideration, what do you have to say?" She asked, setting the stage for Rainbow Dash to say her vows. Rainbow's heart swelled as Twilight mentioned her element in her list of pledges towards the end of her words. She could do that, she could do all of the things Twilight was talking about! She could be that pony for AJ. RD had decided for herself after a long list of mess ups that she was going to be different. Especially now that their second little one was being born. She would be there. She would be loyal. She would... oh Celestia! She was supposed to be saying this out loud! RD cleared her throat, dropping the emerald gaze of her beloved for a moment to pull a crumpled paper from her vest pocket. She glanced at it and then held it down. She could do this without her notes. "AJ, you're..." She sucked in a breath. "When I think about..." she shook her head. No that wasn't right, it wasn't what her heart was saying. "I love you Applejack. Plain and simple, I love you." There, this was feeling better. "You are the piece that puts my everyday together. You are my everything. I don't know how to tell you the depths of what I feel for you, I can tell you again, how I fell for you." She gazed into AJ's eyes, her mind going back to that special Running of the Leaves. "You were my biggest adversary, the hardest competition I've ever had, or will have. I trained for that day. I had to beat you. I had to be the better of us. I was focused on winning, focused on crossing that finish line before you." She swallowed lightly. "I remember that moment my focus shifted from the finish line to you. Just you. Your drive, strength, determination. You went from my biggest adversary to my heart's desire in an instant." Blush. "Of course I couldn't tell you that!" "That’s not how Rainbow Dash does things!" She smiled as some chuckles went up from the guests. Everypony knew that wasn't RD's style. "So the competition waged on! It was the best way to spend time with you and get to know you better. All the while I fell harder and harder." Her voice softened. "Our first kiss, first dates, all of that. Then our living at the farmhouse with you. Our little Zap Apple... our new little one." Her heart pounded with excitement and pride. "And I get the honor," she spoke gently. "The privilege to stand by your side. There's no pony else, nothing else for me. It's you AJ. From that magic moment when I saw you for real until my last breath, it's you." She ruffled her wings. "I love you Applejack, and I'm so stoked to spend my life with you!" Twilight wasn't surprised at all by the display of emotions that came flowing from Rainbow. Twilight knew of their vows but not how they'd be delivered, and the infectious excitement. A smile couldn't help but grow on her face though as she turned to Applejack. "Applejack, having heard Rainbow Dash's vows to you as her intended, do you wish now to respond?" Applejack was a traditional mare at heart. Rainbow Dash had said a lot about how she came to love, came to honor Applejack, and expressed it in words that were strikingly earnest and completely hers. Applejack didn't think she had to do that. She had evidence of their love walking around and another stark reminder inside of her, ready to burst out at any moment. Instead, she would rely on a variant of vows Apples had given for time immemorial. Looking straight into Rainbow's eyes, her own hazel eyes clear with intent and affection as she spoke. "Ah make this vow before friends and family, in tha land of Apples long since passed, An' in this space and with mah words Ah do make this vow of love and commitment. Ah, Applejack, take Rainbow Dash ta be mah wedded wife, and ta live together in marriage. Ah promise ta love you, comfort you, honor an' keep you for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness an' health, an' forsaking all others, be faithful only ta you so long as we both shall live. An' that's tha truth," she said, adding that last line impromptu, her emotions getting the better of her ever briefly. Once the vows were said and done the exchanging of symbols was to take place. Scoots trotted forward, bearing a simple oiled wood box on her back between her tiny wings. This Twilight levitated between the two mares. RD was doing her level best to keep herself together. All she wanted to do was nuzzle AJ tightly and fall into those hazel eyes of hers, but she couldn't yet. Ceremony and then the reception after. Of course she was enjoying it all but she found herself longing to just be near her beautiful mare. Soon the box was opened revealing a pair of hoof rings. The rings were at the same time beautiful and simple, a style both mares had agreed on. They were also magically enhanced and when the right hoof came into contact they would size to fit perfectly. Soon Rainbow had AJ's ring in her grasp and reached out to meet her mare's hoof. The ring fit snugly and once secured on shrunk even more, magically adjusting itself. Applejack admired it for a moment before doing the same to Rainbow, securing her ring on Rainbow's hoof. She wanted to continue holding it, but there'd be time for that and much more later. "Because Applejack and Rainbow Dash have desired each other in marriage and have witnessed this before our gathering, affirming their acceptance of the responsibilities of such a union, and have pledged their love and faith to each other, sealing their vows in the giving and receiving of rings, I do proclaim that they are married. Let all creatures here and everywhere recognize and respect this union, now and forever. You may now seal your union with a kiss." Rainbow felt a sudden wash of peace flow over her as Twilight spoke the final words. She stepped up to Applejack and swept a wing gently around the farm, pulling her close. "Now and forever." She repeated the words softly before kissing AJ with tender passion. Not a long kiss, but a true one, one with all the heart in the world.
  18. Howdy and welcome to Canterlot! I hope you have a fun time here! Please let myself or any admin know if you need any help with the site
  19. Before she really had time to think about it Temy had come up under her and lifted her from the ground! Glitter could feel the strength pulsing from Temy's body and it instantly made her feel safe. She hadn't had to accept this much help from any pony...probably ever and that was well, if it was anypony else it would have been really tough. But things were different between her and Tempest. She already knew they cared for each and Glitter knew from what she'd done with the bear she would do anything for Temy. Somehow she knew the same to be true the other way around. Glitter shifted herself a little, finding a way to get comfortable enough laying across Temy's back. She shifted her head to rest on the other mare's neck, wrapped her front legs around Temy's shoulders and let her hind legs drape down her sides. Sure it was a little awkward but it had to be done. She didn't have the strength for any length of travel. She breathed in Temy's scent as the trotted out into the drifts, feeling comforted by the smell of mare, sweat, and the outdoors. Koda bounded out before then, prancing around and generally acting like a dog. He was however, also leading them in the direction of home. "Good boy Koda!" She encouraged the big guy as he bounded through the fresh drifts. Glitter didn't talk much as the traveled. She worried about the burden she was on her friend, literally at the moment. But Temy never faltered or slowed. She was as strong as anypony she'd ever known. At least in the physical sense. She'd heard the strain in her voice talking about her past though. You couldn't be strong in all ways. Glitter hoped she could show Temy that she could be trusted. On they went until a few hours had gone by. The cabin was probably only an hour or so out from where they were. "You need to stop for a break?" She muttered softly to Temy as they trotted through a stand of trees.
  20. Hi there! As long as your character fits the application as presented in Rarity's Application Form and is in keeping with what is allowable on the site I don't see any problem with an FimFic character. If the character does not fit into the WoE application, they can still be played in our Free for All section.
  21. OOC: Note for everyone We will be posting the procession/vows post in about a week! If you've got stuffs you'd like your characters to do before that just thought we'd give you the heads up! Glitter began trotting down towards the table where it appeared Berry Punch was serving drinks! She was feeling good, and nothing helped with feel good like a little fire water! She wasn't planning on doing lots of drinking...well, at the moment...there would be time for that later. The mare glanced back, wondering if the unicorn was coming along with her. She wasn't sure Temy would want to come closer to every pony else. She was an outsider and felt more comfortable that way. Glitter understood. If Temy wasn't coming down she'd bring her something. "Hey there," She cleared her throat, blushing a little. She'd not actually spoken with many other ponies, well none actually, since her and Temy's ordeal in the icy heights. "What do you have by way of adult drinks? Something not too sweet?" She glanced at the young filly nearby and smiled. "Hello there!"
  22. Welcome! I hope you have a great time here!! 😀
  23. RD shooved the crumpled paper around on the counter in front of her. The Apple family had set up an armoire in the silo to help the bride get ready. The mare couldn't imagine herself primping in front of the mirror, dabbing on mascara and blush and whatever else a pony like Rarity would do. As it was she did lean forward the quickly use the mirror to adjust her bow tie. "So, um," She glanced at Pinkie as the energetic mare came up next to her. "Are we forgetting anything?" Pinkie thought for a moment. "Hmmm, nopsie wopesies! You have your vows, Fluttershy has the hoof bands," She peeked her head out the door. "The guests are here! You got it all Dashie washie!" Dash gulped again. She'd all but forgotten all their friends and family would be there to watch her preformance. She better not mess this up! Dash found herself wishing she'd asked AJ to do this in private and not with like every pony and creature in Equestria along for the ride! "AJ you're the most special pony to me in the whole world. I um... I remember the first time I thought of you as more than a friend. It was after the Running of the Leaves. It was like the first time I ever admitted not winning to someone and you.... and you were right there with me, we lost together!" Dash smiled, happy she could at least remember the beginning of her vows without looking at the paper. The vows actually helped relax her, remembering all the great times they'd shared. She really just wanted to be done with the wedding and be snuggling her amazing AJ on the couch in the farmhouse. Glitter batted playfully at her nippy mare. Temy got her ear and she flinched a little as she gently closed her teeth. Then she moved forward and nuzzled the stalwart and moody mare that was the love of her life. "You get a nuzzle for every nip!" She giggled and flicked her ears back and forth once. "Come and get em'!" She wouldn't be so playful but for the fact that they were far from the attention of others on their haybale in the field. Glitter watched every new arrival with intrest, focusing on the Chaos God as her mare did. "Yeah, leave it to Discord to choose now to show up." She mused noting that it appeared he intended no harm. She shifted off the bale after a little longer and glanced at Temy. "I need a drink." A little smile and then a wink for her nippy mare.
