I get it, people are picky about their coffee, and I can respect wanting something your way, however what I can NOT respect is when you decide to nitpick, lecture, and INSULT people that have different preferences than yours! Why is someone "less a man" if they want their drink with milk? or with Syrup? or with Whipped Cream? They arn't! And quite frankly I should be able to order my "Froo froo" drink without ridicule! If I want my Decafe, half caf, frappe mocha whatever, what right do you have to insult me over my drink? Coffee is coffee, it is delicious in many forms, I can understand enjoying it just straight black, but I don't like it that way, I like mine with tons of creme and sugar, and flavours to mix it up , and yes sometimes I DO want whipped cream on top >( Maybe a caramel drizzle! HECK maybe even SPRINKLES! Respect other peoples choice to enjoy their caffeine any way they please, I'll respect your right to drink yours how YOU please, but don't imply someone is "less of a man" or a 'Sissy" because they have different tastes..

[colour=#ffffff]. [/colour] Coffee Rush unlocked the doors of her dark coffee shop. It was early in the morning and fog covered the streets of Manehatten. The creamish tan unicorn walked inside and flicked the shop's lights on. In the back of the shop was her office. In her office, she placed on her green Ponybucks apron on and checked into work. "Hopefully, I get customers!" The unicorn said groggily with hope. "And I hope I get some of my own coffee." She walked to the door and flipped the sign that read "Open." Ponybucks was in business. -
After a brisk walk to gather the plants with a dragon on her back QuickLime soon entered her home which was a rather nice building, the storefront and living space sorta seamlessly fit together, with a large hearth, walls lined with books, and assorted dried plants hanging from the ceiling, there were several pots, tea kettles, coffee makers, and the whole air smelled of spice and other such goodness. "Alright Spike let me brew you up some tea" She said and moved to let the dragon get down, once he was down she sat her saddlebags down and took out the rather sweet and relaxing smelling herb, and took it and put it in a cup, and got some hot water on to boil, pouring the nearly boiling water over the fresh leaves caused them to instantly dissolve into nothing, leaving a rich golden tea in their place. "Here ya go" Lifting the cup with her wing and sat it on the table, before going to poke around her house a bit, before returning with a few small gems, and sat them on the table "I heard dragons like these, is that correct?" -

It was another brand new day, and the sun was high, and all the birdys sung while the hay bacon fried merrily in it's skillet, Ginger was humming a merry tune to herself as she finished making her breakfast, which was quickly downed in one gulp. After eating she brushed her mane and slapped her hat on, brushed her teeth, and smiled her best smile at the mirror "Yep, yep yep, t'day is gonna be a good day for sure as shootin!" She fluttered her wings and headed down to the cafe part of her shop, perched on a big fluffy cloud near the weather factory! She hummed as the coffee pots started to perk, and she put in some fresh baked goods in the display case, whistling as the windows got open and all the resturant sparkling once she gave it a good cleaning! Yes siree Robert! It was a great day to be alive! Once the first coffee pot of lite brew coffee was finished she poured herself a cup, added just a little cream and sugar, and took a sip,making her teeth brushing..er null and void... she let out a content breath once she had finished her sip, perfect ! Just how she liked it...one thing left to do now! She flew over to the window and flipped the closed sign to open before hunkering down behind the counter and took another content sip of her coffee. -
Breve grinned as he got the coffee brewing for the day, the air sweet with the scent of fresh beans being ground, and the perfect matching scent of Vanilla Cinnamon Sticky Buns fresh out of the oven, resting on the countertops to cool. Once he was content with the set up of his shop he flipped the closed sign to open , and threw the shutters open to let the teasing aroma's waif through the air to tantalize and tempt passing patrons. The soft apple green stallion checked himself in the mirror, moving a hoof up to smooth back his blonde mane to make sure it looked professional, blue eyes twinkling as he was always excited when he opened the shop up in the mornings, however today was the first time that he was selling the buns, usually he only sold various coffee drinks, but if his Pap could sell deep fried apple fritters with his coffee then dang it Breve could sell Vanilla Cinnamon Rolls! "Let's hope I get some customers" He said glancing to the sun as if he were talking to the Princess herself "Thank ya Celestia fer this fine day t'day"

The air in Ponyville was strangely quiet instead of it's usual hyperactive buzz, a silence had drifted over the town like a thin layer of frost over a window pane. Quicklime stood infront of the window which was open, the cool Autumn breeze blowing through her green and black striped mane, a shiver going down her spine as she sat a pot of coffee on to brew to drive away the chill. The town seemed almost void of life for the moment but she hoped that soon it would liven up and become full of life and sound and joy. Right now it was damn depressing... As the pot did it's duty to brew the slightly bitter drink she watched the glass pitcher slowly fill with the rich chocolate brown liquid. Crossing her arms loosely on the counter as it filled up and when it was done took the handle in her mouth carefully and poured a cup of the steamy liquid then adding cream, sugar, and a little flavoring to it before clasping it between her hooves and bringing it to her lips and taking a sip. She flinched because she should have blew on it first , her tongue scalded from the liquid but she just blew on the cup before taking another sip being more careful this time as to not kill MORE taste buds. Quicklime let out a soft satisfied sigh once she had taken her sip, the coffee warming up her insides and getting rid of the chill in her bones, it was a good feeling one that she enjoyed about the fall season in summer the only coffee she drank was iced and the chilling feeling just didn't measure up. When the cup was empty she made sure to wash and put it up before going to rest her forelegs on the window, hoof pressed against her cheek as she watched the empty streets hoping, no PRAYING for somepony ANYPONY to appear and to release the town of its rather boring silence. Yet still nopony appeared to relive the haze of silence that hung like a thick fog over the town, it was almost like it was under a witches spell because not even the birds were chirping, not even a little whistle... it was a sad sad state of affairs it really truly was..
