[[ A continuation of this RP. ]] Bakery, bakery. Where the buck was the bakery? Since arriving in Appleloosa, Inkbrand had done nothing but wander in circles, become increasingly dehydrated, and partaken in somewhat one-sided conversations with ponies, mollies, and one rather interesting griffon with a penchant for shedding feathers at inappropriate and inopportune times. Still, he now had a green mare sufficiently broken to his will following along as his side, which the grey stallion supposed was as good as anything else. Especially considering that, for all his griping and complaining, Flora Bloom really was allowing him to stay the night at her…place. Saved him the bits for a room at the local inn, and gave him enough left over for the train ticket back to Manehatten. Though, Inkbrand still couldn't say how much he was looking forward to sleeping out in the desert. Flora better have a deluxe suite set up with a four-in-one heating system. "Bakery would be great if we could actually find one," the tattoo-clad stallion groused, head twisting this way and that as he watched ponies going to and fro about their business, "or maybe they'll have 'em down at the orchard? Don't suppose your little hiding spot has…er…" Inkbrand slowly trailed off as he happened to glance back at the green mare, only to find pretty much her entire face shrouded in green mane, like she was actually trying to provide a barrier between the two of them. Something he had noticed her doing several times, in fact, but with just the two of them together, seemed an added insult over inane shyness. Buck. Couldn't be having that. "'Ya know," Inkbrand drawled out loudly, sliding over in one smooth movement and sticking his muzzle directly in her face, "in most cultures, it's generally accepted social behavior to make eye contact with the pony you're talking with." One grey hoofed raised to carefully but rather messily tuck the fallen green strands away from Flora's face and behind one ear, effectively clearing up the area to reveal - green eyes. Bucking of course. Still, much better, and a self-satisfied smile spread over Inkbrand's face, even as he remained exactly where he was. "There, better. See? I'm not so ugly you have to shield me from your gaze, now am I?" he teased, with a coy wink. He knew he wasn't anything to scoff at, but if Flora Bloom needed some help in figuring out what she was missing behind her hair, well. Dr. Inkbrand was here to enlighten.

Character Summary: Beat Match was born to Harmony and Fugue from Fillydelphia. As a filly, she never liked her parents classical music, it was always too slow for her. One day, she was with her parents at a music festival when she got seperated from them. She tried to find them but got even more lost. She had just about given up when suddenly, she heard a very loud beat. It was something she'd never heard before! She checked it out and what she saw, she liked! The dancing, the partying, the dj's and most importantly, the music! She partied to the beat until her parents finally found her. Inspired by what she had seen. She decided she would become an DJ/electronic musician herself! It took her many many weeks but she finally saved enough bits. The very next day, she bought a turntable, Neighbleton Live and all the latest songs by artists such as DJ Pon-3, Sapphire Shores and all the other great artists out there. She also bought a synthesizer and some speakers just incase something went wrong. She spent many months perfecting her magic and technique with the turntable and keyboard but she had finally gotten good enough to perform. She convinced her parents to let her perform at the concert hall they usually performed at as part of a music festival that would be going on that weekend. The big night had come, the place was packed, Match was ready. The Glue Factory had just got done with their set and finished with their latest song "Enter Sandpony" and it was time to perform. She stepped onto stage and yelled into the microphone "Let's get this party started, everypony!" She began by playing "Manticores n Stuff by DJ Pon-3" The crowd was getting pumped, she could tell! Beat got lost in the music, the beat and the energy of the crowd when she suddenly heard a fizzle. "Oh, for the love of Celestia" The mare thought. The turntable was shorting out, Beat tried to stop it by putting her hoof on it but that just cut her hoof. She winced in pain but she had more important thing to do than worry about a little cut. She yelled "Sorry guys but we're having a small technical difficulty, I'll be right back!" She sprinted as fast as possible back stage, picked up the synth with her magic and ran back to the stage. She unplugged the turntable and everything else, plugged the synth into the speakers and played. An hour later, she finished to a standing ovation. As Beat left the stage, she looked at her flank to see she had gotten her Cutie Mark! It was a turntable and synthesizer. Now, she knew what she was meant to do. After the show, she was approached by 3 different record labels that all wanted her to join their label. After much consideration, she turned them all down. She had only played one show and she didn't want to be famous quite yet. She still had to get better, after all. So now she's often found at raves all over Equestria, studying and learning how to become a better DJ/Electronic Musician so that one day, she can hit the big time and spread the music to everypony.
