I realized the other day that I didn't have any non-pony OCs. I also realized around the same time that all of my characters are pretty much jerks - I don't have any genuinely nice characters. Those two realizations combined into my new OC, an eastern dragon named Yuri. It was tough trying to MLP an eastern dragon, but I think I made it simplistic enough. Coloring came out a little wonky, but I'm pretty happy with the overall design.- 2 comments

Felt like fiddling around with animation today, so out came this little doodle. Click on the picture and scroll a bit to see the animation! For those of you that don't know, my eastern dragon Yuri is just a little bit fascinated with ponykind. She and another dragon are currently traversing Equestria in hopes to meet several different kinds of ponies, and their first run in is none other than Prince Blueblood. For having to deal with two strange dragons essentially barreling their way into his home (including one that has a very poor concept of personal space), he's being a pretty good sport about it. Maybe, roughly...two hours of work, for this one? Like many dragons, greed is one of Yuri's character flaws, though it's yet to really come into play in an RP. Still, I got inspired to draw an adult Yuri who was unable to fight a greed-induced growth spurt, resulting in her rational mind deconstructing down into an unthinking and avaricious beast. It'd be a pretty sad end for a character like Yuri - luckily, she's accumulated quite a few friends who could potentially snap her out of it. A rampaging Yuri might be fodder for a future RP. The face was heavily drawn from Miyazaki's work, because I could not figure out how the world to make a dragon snarl. Turns out it's all in the furrows of the snout/eye ridge and creases of the mouth.- 13 comments

Another "I felt like drawing but didn't know what to draw" evening, so I decided to try practicing humans again by sketching a MLP character of mine I've yet to "human-fy". I like how she came out, though her expression looks a little bland. Though I'm not good at conveying expressions with this semi-realistic style, it's just something I need to further practice with. But otherwise, yeah, not too shabby. Her hair was especially fun to draw, trying to translate that waving, hair spine onto a person. I think it'd be neat if I was able to eventually conceptualize all my OCs as humans at some point. At this point, Yuri makes...five? ...So that's like, ten more human drawings to go, lulz.- 10 comments

M'not kidding with the title. I'm not really sure what I intended Yuri to be. Actually, I don't think she was meant to really be anything, except sort of dressed up for the festivities of costuming. The sash that is flowing around her body was sort of reminiscent of sashes some eastern dragons are depicted trailing while they hold pearls in their claws. I always loved how they constantly moved along with the dragon's hair, never falling and sometimes not even fastened to the body at all, like in this picture. Just held aloft by the dragon's innate magic and aura. The hat is... There. It's just there.- 4 comments

Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Jasper Sex: Male Age: Young adult Species: Dragon Eye colour: Silver Coat: pale blue Mane/Tail: NA - White Horns, Darker blue spines Physique: small for a dragon Residence: ponyville (living with Azure Ignine) Occupation: layabout, occasional fire starter. Cutie Mark: NA Unique Traits: due to a botched spell of azure's, the smoke that precedes Jasper's flame looks like translucent wisps of steam, leading some to believe he is an ice dragon (his breath weapon is, of course, fire) History: Jasper was the runt of the litter, which was quite large, so while he still revived the required nourishment, he never really learned a lot about dragon culture. Other dragons would often exclude him from their groups and events because of his size, ribbing him but not outright bullying the blue dragon (though he proved he could more than hold his own in lava surfing - which only contributed to his ostricization) when the molt came, it hit jasper hard, making him push away from what little semblance of belonging he had. Of course, dragon culture being what it was, they weren't exactly trying to make him feel any better. Finding that the cool deep ocean waters helped ease his condition, Jasper unfortunately got caught up in a tsunami. his survival was little less than a miracle, but it swept him far out to sea, eventually landing him on the coast of an alien land. Because he was still undergoing the molt, he hid himself away, making the ponies who had never seen a dragon before, even more curious what the strange creature they only caught glimpses of really was! This was what lured in the kirin that would change jasper's life forever - Azure Ignine. Azure indeed sought out the illusive creature, using her magic to her advantage and finally tracking him down (and upon finding him, using her magic to help soothe his condition). But unlike the other ponies or dragons, she was friendly to him - not treating him as a curiosity, but as a friend. This left a mark on Jasper, finally giving him a place to belong, and once he finished molting, the two left the coast and have been near-inseparable ever since. . . even if he'd rather not share her with Cloudy. . . Character Personality: Like most dragons, Jasper has a sharp, serrated tongue, which drives away most ponies when they disturb him. While he has managed to learn to be less abrasive than most dragons, thanks to the combined efforts of Azure and Cloudy, he has very few friends, even among dragons. While some might hear tales of a certain other dragon living among ponies, and assume Jasper is similar, they'd be sorely mistaken. Jasper is a lazy dragon, preferring to spend his time napping, listening to heavy metal, reading adventure novels (when alone - he doesn't like admitting he enjoys reading, or even can read at all) or even all three. If asked to do some menial task by Azure, his response (if he gave one) would be along the lines of "do it yourself!" But this does not mean he doesn't have a soft spot in his heart for his friends. If Azure or even cloudy was in true danger, not even the gates of Tarterus would stop him from protecting them. While Jasper prefers not to fight, if forced he will start with mostly-harmless judo-esque throws and sweeps, if this does not serve to deter his opponent he switches to a style that would best be described as an "amateur" version of Drunken Monkey. He does not use weapons outside of his claws/fire and his spiked jewelry (see below). Unless there is no other option, he will always attempt non-harmful take-downs of his opponents, preferring if they just give up out of frustration instead of injury. Character Summary: "Big, Strong, Tough, Dumb" are all words Jasper would use to describe himself, even it he isn't any of those things. While his tongue can be razor-sharp, he never forgets a debt or a friend, and woe be unto any who get in the way of either of those... after his nap, at least. Physical Description:Slightly more muscle definition than most dragons (more like Ember than spike/smolder) roughly the same height as the average pony. His eyes are outlined in the same dark blue shade as his spines and very angular like a curved downward pointing triangle (no its not natural though he will claim it is). His spikes are styled in a more 'sawtooth' shape, curving upwards ending in a mohawk. His horns are mostly straight coming from the side of his head and curved to point upwards Being a metalhead/punk rocker, he wears a spiked collar as well as spiked bracelets/anklets along with a spiked band around the end of his tail along with a dark blue septum ring and a tshirt (with sleeves torn off jaggedly) showing a band logo.

IDK why but i really wanted to make a mlp dragon OC. This is Rusty! That's his nickname though, his real name is Copper. I actually have no clue where i want him to live or what his proffession will be. I mean dragons don't need jobs but he should be good at something! I luv him though, even if he gave me a tough time drawing him same as GoldenGlow. My best babies just have to be naughty... ANYWAYS who has ideas for jobs he could have? I'm not sure what would fit -

After discovering I can draw (ish) and I can vector them, I just can't stop! Shan Pui is my eastern dragon I have been trying to draw/app for a long time, but I either don't have the time or skill (until now that is) Shan Pui is a mix between a chinese dragon and Haku from 'Spirited Away' who, almost like Haku, is a guardian of a river that he was named after. I named him after the Shan Pui river because it was in my home country (before moving to Canada) and I wanted an oc that represented my chinese heritage. Of course I can't exactly mention 'chinese' in my app and the fact that he's a guardian of a river, so I'll have to adjust some stuff. ...I really need to start studying... -

I really enjoyed that episode. My art was a little rusty when I drew this because I hadn't drawn in awhile. It's also closer to the show's style than I intended but I seem to do that when it's the first time I draw a character. There's a fair share of things bugging me with this one but overall I'm pretty happy with it. *nodnod* Edit:: Because of the dark backdrop, some mistakes are showing up that I didn't notice before. Eh, I'm too lazy to edit it right now. It might be magically fixed later though. :I -

======FRAULE ====== While it obviously isn't much of a Pony nor will ever be gazed upon by your eyes on this forum, Fraule is a grievously wicked Ice Wyrm whom Umekile(my Pony OC) encounters in the Far North of Whitescar. He is an Enormous and Overgrown dragon who's breath is strong enough to frost over full villages and leave a Tundra in his wake. With great power comes his Greed and unbridled lust for Gold - the Essence of all great dragons - and thanks to the abnormal level of magic emanating from the Spine of the World Serpent's close proximity to the heavens it has afflicted the behemoth with incredible size, causing him to Dwarf most others. Wicked, Corrupt and highly Intellectual it takes a master riddler, clever mind and a double-dose of insanity to want/successfully trick this tremendous calamity of a dragon. Drawn in College Seminar Class on the backpage of a Notebook lol -

Name: Pepper Gender: Female Age: Young teenager Species: Dragon Eye colour: Yellow Character colour: Light gray Mane/Tail/Other: She has freckle-like splotches of black and grayish markings on her face and a few other places, and black spines. Physique: She's a bit awkward and gangly, and has lost a lot of her 'cuteness' from when she was a baby dragon, and is roughly the size of an above-average sized pony standing upright. She also has a bit of an overbite coupled with large front teeth. Residence: She travels the land, in search of excitement or adventure. Or gems. (but sometimes returns to her boss' tower to keep the place from collecting too much dust) Occupation: Adventurer! And gem hunter. Novice magical trinket dabbler. Hobo. Unique Traits: She carries a small, battered and junky sword she found with her...but it's mostly for dully whacking things with. She doesn't really have the stomach to actually stab anything. She has a rudimentary understanding and skill when it comes to common magic trinkets and spellbooks and whatnot, and knows enough to use them. Also, she can breathe fire, of course, and has the strength that comes with being a dragon. Though, she's still getting used to the latter. History: Pepper doesn't have a very 'storied' history(which she hopes to change). She was hatched by a wizard unicorn--not for any test or anything, but just because they wanted a dragon to research. And a helper around their tower... She was named Pepper for her markings, and after she was grown a bit, started her life as an assistant without much incident. As years went by, she couldn't help but become interesting in just what was in all of the books and whatnot she often fetched or returned. With her unicorn caretaker's approval, she began to learn the basics of magic and the world, though what really seemed to interest her were the more speculative books, and fiction. It was the few adventure and fiction book, along with myths and tales, that most likely had the greatest effect on her personality. Except maybe the ones where the villain was a dragon... Even though she was content enough to stay in the tower, only going out for the occasional supply run, she often daydreamed about witnessing an adventure or going on a quest for real. From the bestiaries and history books, it sounded like even crazier and more exciting things were possible in reality. She never expected she'd get a chance to ever experience it, though, seeing as her boss didn't get out much... Her somewhat mundane life went on, until one experiment in particular that her wizard friend was attempting. Something with teleportation, or a portal, or something--she really wasn't sure then, and remembers even less about it now. All she knows, is that something went wrong, and her unicorn friend just...poofed away. Along with the book and notes they were using to do it. So she had no lead on how to help or where they might have ended up. After a great deal of panicking an running around in circles, Pepper eventually came across a note, telling her that if their latest experiment went awry, then she was free to go, because they likely wouldn't be returning for a very long time. Though, they would appreciate it if the tower was in order whenever they got back. At first, with her entire job and purpose in life now shattered, Pepper merely stayed at the tower, sadly dusting the shelves and reordering books and whatnot. It didn't take long to consider doing as the note said and going off on her own. However, it was boring and lonely by herself there... So, soon enough, she packed some essentials, and wandered out into the world. Luckily, the experiment before the last had involved allowing her to grow into a 'teenage' dragon, so she had the strength and size to afford blundering into a bit of trouble--many creatures that might attack a pony avoided her entirely, making her learning process at the beginning of her outside life a lot less painful. After orienting herself a bit, she decided to use this chance as a chance to try and live out some of her fantasies, and go on some adventures herself--as the hero, even--unearthing forgotten knowledge and rescuing people, and having fun ,too. And maybe finding some gems to snack on... Maybe, even find out where her boss and fiend ended up along the way. Seemed as good a way to go about it than any other. It sounded fun, at least. Character Summary: Pepper basically wants to live her life like some kind of storybook hero--even though she's the dragon. Which, she is still rapidly learning, is not so easy in the world outside the tower she grew up in. Despite this, though, she tries her best and does a half-decent job sometimes, and remains as enthusiastic and excitable as ever. Even pushing aside her often ridiculous and naive(and often grating) behavior, she is still a very happy and kind dragon, willing to help out with even mundane tasks when she has the time(possibly due to her time as an assistant), and can even display some legitimate bravery and strength when it really matters. Another trait that's likely left over from her assistant job, is her desire to learn about magic and things in general, and despite her energetic tendencies, enjoys reading through books. Though, if they're very technical, she's likely to just skim through them...which usually results in botched magic use or something later on. She's also clumsy in other ways--and awkward--, not yet used to her own size and strength, often bumping her head or spines on doorways or shaking someone's hand or hoof too tightly. Even though she's usually positive, she does have moments where she mopes about certain things, especially when she fails at something, since she always tries so hard. Or, sometimes when she realizes just how gut-wrenching and dangerous adventuring and fighting can actually be, and feels like a wimp. She also gets lonely sometimes, what with her aimless questing around the land, and even gets homesick occasionally along with missing her caretaker and boss. Pepper also has a very pronounced weakness for gemstones... She'll sometimes even go so far as to ask for the jewelry that someone might be wearing if her cravings get the best of her, which leaves her feeling ashamed afterwards. For the most part, she doesn't really want a hoard or anything, though--she's only interesting in eating them.

Roshina al-Majed You don’t know what you’re dealing with; I guarantee it. RP Type: Canterlot Chronicles Name: Roshina al-Majed Sex: Female Age: Late “teens” Species: Sky Dragon Eyes: Auric Body: Blue. Deep pelagic blue for most of her body. Lighter blue for her belly scales. The ribbing in her wings and the spines on her back are the same color as her primary scales, with wing webbing being a dull flesh color. Body markings: Thin gold lines that trace odd right-angle patterns over her upper arms, shoulders, and spine. They glow faintly whenever she uses dragon breath. Physique: Lithe and flexible for a dragon. Her size is nowhere near that of the behemoth monsters of Equestrian lore, but she is significantly longer than the average earth pony. Her long body and thin build give her a snake-like profile. Residence: Stalliongrad. Occupation: “Scholar at large,” which translates to artifact dealer/hunter and alchemist for hire. Unique Traits Roshina is a self-trained alchemist, artifact hunter, and mercenary. She is an adept flier and hand to hand combatant, having lived on the road since leaving home and learning how to care for herself and protect herself against feral beasts in the wild. Her alchemical knowledge and mental catalogue of the arcane come from extensive personal study and cultural osmosis. Character History Roshina was born to the Majed clan, a small, loosely-affiliated family unit of dragons in the Badlands. The clan made its home in a geothermal oasis in the mountains, giving their children the advantage of safe upbringing and plentiful food. The elders even talked of grooming her to be their successor. But Roshina had bigger plans. She could be better than this little hollow in the ice. She could be greater. She declined the offer of succession and without a further word, left the oasis. She hasn’t looked back since. Her journeys took her across northern Aquellia, the Equestrian Frontier, and areas not charted or protected by any nation. In those harsh lands, Roshina hardened herself, honing her talents into finely-tuned skills and improvised tricks that gave her an edge in any confrontation. Whether it be griffon pirates, Equestrian outlaws, or wild beasts, Roshina found ways to best them all. She soon gained a reputation for being a capable mercenary. Her big break, however, was in the discovery of an old set of jewelry in the wastes. Roshina routinely sold gems and archaeological finds she unearthed to dealers to support herself with tools and food on the road. When a dealer offered her an exorbitant sum for the set, Roshina’s curiosity was piqued. Her research led her to many books on Equestrian history, allowing her to date the jewelry back to the time of the Great Equestrian Migration. Armed with this knowledge, she was able to bargain for even more money, enough to start an investment fund that continues to supply her to this day. It was then that Roshina realized that the more knowledge she gained, the better off she would be. Her travels eventually took her to Stalliongrad. Audits from the university provided her with arcane knowledge and contacts from her old jobs provided a steady stream of both artifacts to move and clients to service. She now runs Axiom Group, a network of researchers and contacts that she can tap whenever she needs information, hard assets, or leads on tracking the latest artifact or investigating the latest disturbance. Roshina uses Stalliongrad as a base of operations, as it is both an important transport hub and a melting pot that provides all sorts of leads and clients for her profession. Character Summary Roshina is highly intelligent and well-traveled. She voraciously consumes knowledge and relentlessly hunts down leads in her search for artifacts. Though money and gems are excellent rewards for bringing in items of significance, Roshina considers them luxuries that can be done without if the need arises. Far more valuable to her is extracting the knowledge bound up in dusty tomes or figuring out just what makes an ancient piece of artifice, chemical reaction, or enchantment tick. She always does her best to ensure that her already formidable knowledge of the arcane continues to grow with each job. While Roshina is amicable, it becomes apparent after a few conversations that she thinks highly of herself. Her arrogance comes off subtly with cleverness of tongue and inflection rather than blatant disrespect. That said, she has learned to temper her pride with cunning over the years. Sometimes, a silver tongue is more devastating a weapon than adamantine claws and fiery breath. Though she is not accredited, her knowledge of arcana rivals that of degree-holding scholars. Roshina has not continued to pursue formal education on principle, feeling that she needs no vindication in her line of work; her word of mouth reputation is enough. Her intellectual hubris is perhaps her greatest flaw. Roshina maintains a large network of business contacts, but few friends. Her heart is firmly in her studies and her business. Only those she finds highly interesting individuals are accorded a relationship more in-depth than business acquaintance. These would be individuals with similar interests, even if they have differing opinions. Roshina welcomes challenge so long as it comes with effective scholarship. She has no time to waste with those that spout hot air without the ability to back their claims. Roshina doesn’t go looking for shadier jobs, but she will not hesitate to take them if the payoff is substantial. Money is rarely enough to sway her, as she has plenty of it, but artifacts, tomes, and other arcane goodies might be enough to buy her services.

It's amazing how well the brony fandom takes ownership of the Hasbro IP, practically by accident. Not justifying its morality, but rather just observing how deeply the show creators and the fans blend together as far as level of creativity. Of course, not every fanfic and original music piece is going to live up to the fandom's entertainment standards, but then again, sometimes the show doesn't either. Well, I guess I'm being a bit harsh. It's not like this fandom has forums in which people disagree weekly on the quality level of the episodes and the significance of some of the plot lines. Right? Episode 7: Dragonshy No Soundcloud was found for this one. YouTube will be my backup embedding process. This Song Made Man a Fluttershy Foozogz (PepperBrony) Orchestral Techno Yikes! Hearing this song makes go from considering Fluttershy as one of the weaker mane six characters, to thinking that if I say anything bad about her, I will be scolded so hard by her that I will turn into a pony. You know, actually that doesn't sound so bad. Maybe I will get in Fluttershy's face and tell her whats what. Of course, the fact that I'm human might fascinate her enough anyways where she might have me beat on the forwardness level. Meeting a cartoon pony in person? That's crazy. Meeting another living being? That's just part of Fluttershy's nature and purpose. But enough of the nonsense talk. Foozogz has made a few brony musics that defined the earlier months of the community, songs inspired of exact events in certain episodes. I'm not usually a fan of direct quotes placed from the show into a song to add spice, but this song orchestrates a good theme you can feel and the words Fluttershy speaks in it are only meant to guide the imagination along. The whole time I'm thinking of someone actually being disciplined by Fluttershy's calm, yet forceful words. And then the guy turning into a pony or cowering to the point where his man card dissolves in Fluttershy's flutter. It's pretty scary. I'm sure he had a good reason. After all, that rainbow one kicked him. Episode 8: Look Before You Sleep Tubby Wubby Pony Waifu (ElectroKalposion Cover feat. Feather) FlimFlamPhilosophy Original Parody Ok, so yeah, it's kind of a stretch. But 'Look Before You Sleep,' despite being a great episode with great character development, and a foundation for one of the best quasi-canon ships of the MLPFiM universe, there doesn't seem to be much dedicated music for this great combination of characters. So, I decided to share this one, an original song made for Rainbow Dash Presents: My Little Dashie. It's a great song and works well for it's humor purposes in the video, but then also doubles as a fun song to cover and karaoke with (especially since the song was actually started as karaoke in the video). If you don't know what a waifu is, basically its derives from anime where female characters were so attractive visually and mentally, that fans of the show would fantasize with the complexity of having them as a life partner in real life. Basically, its a fantasy wife. So if you didn't before, now you see the hilarity of the lyrics of the song. It's definately making fun of itself when the two characters, who can best be described as fat Rainbow Dash and a monkey dressed up like the Joker, apparently fall in love with each other, completely unaware of the stupidity that they ensue around them during the song. This cover is my favorite cover, because it is well sung. The fandom has some good pipes if you look hard enough. If it wasn't for FFP's desire to keep the show organic to his own voice, but then also have the gender swap with the character voices, I would have wished that these two would have sung it originally.
