Roleplay Type: Any Name: Caramel Cream Sex: Filly Age: Foal Species: unicorn Eye colour: Sapphire Blue Coat: Caramel Brown with cream white patches Mane/Tail: Cream white, with streaks of Caramel Brown Physique: Chubby, puffy cheeks, poofy mane and tail similar to Pinkie Pie in nature. Residence: None known. Transient Occupation: None Cutie Mark: A large caramel sweet with a dollop of cream on it. Discovered her talent for making sweet treats in the orphanage during cooking duty when she crafted a caramel pie without any prior instruction. Unique Traits: Deaf, can speak poorly but uses broken sentences and usually scribbles words using a stick on the dirt. Natural Talent for cooking. History: Caramel was the unfortunate survivor of a house fire when she was still a baby. Born with very impaired hearing, she is very far behind her peers in learning because she can not understand the teacher. Her reading is sub par, and her communication is scratchy at best. She is, however a fastidious worker form the day she could walk on her own. Being placed in an orphanage in the village near her home, she grew up a few years. However, she was the subject of a good deal of bullying due to her imperfect speech and inability to hear properly. After a few years, she ran away from the orphanage, coming to live in the wilds around Equestria. She relies mostly on the generosity of others, however she also works very hard to make her own way. She often tells ponies she meets that she is from a near by village and that she is coming to town to work and earn bits to help her parents. Most ponies buy the act, however there have been several times she was caught and had to make a quick escape to keep from being sent to another orphanage. Her wanderings have taken her by train and cat, often sneaking aboard when no pony was looking. She has seen Manehattan, Fet Loch, and Appleloosa. There have also been points where she stole food, or rummages in a garbage can to find something to eat. However she always tries to be clean, and frequently baths in the streams, lakes, and ponds she finds. Her skill in magic is average for one her age, having nothing to do when not working but practice. Character Personality: Caramel is a very happy foal, and a hard worker. However, she is highly susceptible to bullying. Character Summary: Caramel is a sweet foal, and loves to meet new ponies. She is always looking to make friends. However she has a hard time with her disability. She tries as hard as she can, she just has strikes of bad luck now and again. Her transient lifestyle often puts her at odds with other ponies, leading to her having to leave before she can make more than a few friends.

And here is the first "painting" from the Peachy's Portraits thread! I have to admit, I was getting pretty worried during the early part of drawing this. However, I'm really happy with how it ultimately turned out so yay! The adorable Wind Walker belongs to tacobob. Edit: I cropped the background because I think it looks better this way.- 5 comments

Whoohoo! The first pony art I've created with my drawing tablet! The original sketch was done by Rin in his free time, and this art is a gift from him, and now back to him~ Thanks to Zoebel for coming up with Celestiny! Such a cute name~ This is the second legitimate piece of artwork that I've created with my tablet, so cheers to me for not creating a Frankenstein. I messed up the "Rin" writing part a little, but any artist out there would no how difficult it is adjusting to a tablet . A lot of things happened to Momo during the event thread. Among getting her cutie mark (which I haven't designed yet) she acquired some interesting accessories. Among them was a scarf from Silver Belle and a crown from princess Cadence. (Plus a flower crown form Hugo that she re-gifted to Silver Belle) I imagine Momo doesn't really wear the crown everywhere like she does the scarf though. Since the crown symbolizes a lot to her, she usually has it stored in a safe place.© art and character belongs to me

Doing some updated pony images of my OC characters as I am not happy with the old images anymore. In addition to the updated art and mixing in my own style, made subtle changes for each of the characters to make them more in line with the color schemes of the ponies in the show; Sunrise's only change was her coat being a little less saturated. Sunrise Beach is Martini Paradise's rambunctious and robust daughter who is now a young filly (a little older than the CMC). Through the RP she came to live in Ponyville sponsored first by Tea Cozy (who had to move away) and then Twilight. Today she "earns her keep" by being a page for the royal guard of twilight in her new castle.© © Brianblackberry 2014

In addition to the updated art and mixing in my own style, made subtle changes for each of the characters to make them more in line with the color schemes of the ponies in the show; Purple Haze was given a much more pastel coat and her mane was more aligned with it in a color triad. Here is the original by comparison. Purple Haze is another of Bramble Rose's OCs and Carrot Field's energetic little sister in P, who was sent to live with him on his farm. An expert cook and exoverted, she not only makes numerous carrot based dishes, but sells much of the farm's product at the marketplace. She is an older filly who likes to think she is already a young mare, much to the chagrin of her brother.© © Bramble_Rose 2014

Filly Force Five Disbanded!?

Well. I've not been properly involved in any form of RP here in a very long time. I had characters I loved and adored but I just couldn't find the drive. So I spent a lot of time thinking about what I did have and how I might use them and I've came up with new ideas on how I plan to move forward. Firstly! The Filly Force Five, my first set of OC's and my personal favorites are no more-ish. Vivre Vrai singer and love interest for Rabble Rouser my main OC will be leaving! Now I might cover this in some fanfic if I ever decide to pick them back up but basically it means that Rabble is lead guitar and singer now. This works in a number of ways as it gives the band a form that would produce the sound I would expect the Filly Force Five to have. Obviously the Filly Force Five cannot remain just that so the name will become The Untutored Youth. No changes will be made to the others as of yet. My personal OC Pale Ale will be accompanied by a new Earth Pony Lager & Lime soon and I'll be starting a bar/hub RP for people to just simply drop in and out of. Ursa Growls won't change at all and may possibly be removed. I'm really not quite sure yet. -

How I found Canterlot.com: Randomly found it through google by typing my little pony forums. How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: I was a fan of mlp since the 80s I grew up watching the old previous mlp show. My favourite main cast pony/s: Twilight Sparkle Greetings every one I am a new filly here and hope to meet lots of wonderful people on here. And hopefully I can make some wonderful friends on here as well during my stay on this site x3..

"And the meanie called me a stupid blank flank. What do I do Miss Asty, they are so mean," a young filly wept in a clearly distraught voice, her blue eyes red from crying as she sat at the black hooves of a stoic looking unicorn mare. The earth pony child was having a bad day in her orphanage, the other children deciding to tease her, for not discovering her special talent. After running into the local park, she spotted one of her few friends, a strange unicorn who donated goods and toys regularly to the understaffed orphanage in Fillydelphia. The black unicorn mare paused for a moment to examine the wailing of her little friend. Her naturally red eyes looked the scene over carefully and could detect that the pony was indeed crying with the most sincere tears she could probably muster. Asteria blinked her eyes as she thought the situation over, her tall cloaked form lightly shifting beneath her cloak as she thought up a rationalization to make to her younger counterpart. "Lady Sapphire, the children tease you because they are insecure about their own abilities. Some fear that you may be assigned a more diverse set of skills than them and they believe that you are currently less skilled than them. Their estimation is poorly conceived though because your innate skills are currently undefined, giving you unlimited potential until the parameters of your skills are more clearly defined," she explained in a rather objective manner, not exactly stating that the earth pony was superior or inferior to her mean peers. This explanation served only to further confuse the young filly, causing her to weep at an even greater degree. "But what do I do about it. They never stop teasing me," she snorted in a sad tone, not sure of what to do about the other children. Asteria blinked, not one manipulate the actions of others herself. "Lady Sapphire, if you rationalize that their words lack no merit, they can cause you no harm. They would simply be lying and such actions would eventually discredit themselves. If you seek additional protection from their words, you would need to ask for the assistance of other adults," the black mare explained calmly to Sapphire, her words ringing true, but in such a manner that were not the most comforting. "You don't understand! You're just like them, everyone says to go to an adult but they never do anything. You don't really care about my problems!" the young filly screamed into the ear of Asteria before running back to her orphanage, still crying as she did so. The black mare didn't as much as flinch at the scream, standing up as her young friend fled for home. Asteria's eyes traced the movements of Sapphire, seeing that she was safely returning to her home. "Perhaps I have been ignorant of the needs of young children, perhaps it is inconsiderate to believe that others can adapt to situations in a manner that worked specifically for me. I need the opinion of an objective third party to assist in my diagnosis of her treatment," she reasoned in her mind, Asteria lightly dusting off her cloak with magic as she left the park and entered the vibrant city. The unicorn felt that her response was partially responsible for the outburst caused by the child and she felt that it was necessary to find assistance for the filly within the city. Of course this lead to another question in the mare's mind, who in this town was qualified to teach self defense tactics to a filly. After roaming the city streets in the twilight of the evening, the black mare came upon a flyer for a dojo that helped orphans on the edge of town. The stoic unicorn took a long trip into a mountainous area near town and spotted his dojo. Luna's moon was not out that night, Asteria unable to make out any of the fine details of the manner as she approached the entrance. She knew that martial arts taught self discipline and tactics for defending one's self, the stoic mare carefully knocking on the door of the dojo. She hoped that whomever answered would be able to assist her in the tutoring of her young friend.

It is said, among a certain family, that when the moon shines brightly in the week before winter begins, that a the oldest filly will gain her cutie mark. This family, has passed this tale down through many generations, and still it has never come true. While everyone in this family believes it to be true, it has never come to pass... Untill now. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Embermane didn't know how long she'd been wandering. It was night, and she was quite hungry. She stopped in the forest she was traveling through, to chew on some odd looking flowers by the roadside. They were chewy and tasted like fresh lemons. She swallowed and teared again, as she'd been crying for a few hours now. She began walking again as the light started spanning over the horizon. She looked through the forest and smiled. The end of the forest was near, She had not noticed in the dark. Embermane bounded forward through the trees and saw she was actually on a small cliff in the forest, the trees spanned out for a little way more, before she could see in the distance, a town, in it's middle what looked like a large tree. The timid little filly with the blank flank, didn't know what the town was, but she knew that it ment safety, and this forest was anything but safe. She took off in a trot toward the edge of the forest. Embermane didn't really know where she was going at first, until she found a small path in the forest, She came to a tree that was carved out in the shape of a house near mid-day, but she was afraid of the things she saw there and ran the other way. Embermane walked until her hooves were sore and her eyes dry, She'd cried a bit more. She layed down in the shade of a very large tree, lost again. Not knowing she was only a little way from the edge of the forest. She lay there for a little while dozing in the fading light of the sun, When there was a noise. A rustling of leaves. She turned to look, and paled. It was a ferocious looking Manticore. Embermane screamed shrilly and bolted from where she was, the manticore close on her heels. She Ran faster then she'd ever imagined she could, and soon broke through the trees onto the plains closest to ponyville. Ember chanced a glance behind her and still the terrible beast followed. She screamed again, and kept running. Right into Ponyville.
