I got a computer game problem and I'm hoping someone could help me. Two days ago I bought Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 on steam, after installation ME crashed with a 'Windows has encountered a problem wait for a solution to be found', I looked it up everywhere and all the results I got were the same. I tried starting ME 2 and I got the same result, so I looked again and apparently people with Windows 7/Vista seem to have this problem with ME/ME2 crashing. I tried logging in as Administrator in both steam and the games, I also tried the 'Verify Integrity Of Game' on both. The only thing I haven't done is re-installing both games yet. A lot of the forums I've seen, people suggest it might have something to do with the drivers and DirectX, some say it might be Nvidia that needs reinstalling/uninstalling and others have methods too complicated for a technologically inept person like myself. So far what I've done is check if my DirectX was updated and it is, I read that ME might have trouble running under 10 so maybe I might have have to re-install DirectX 9? I checked if my drivers were updated and my computers says they are but I might need to check the manufacture's website like Emerath suggested or I could sweep my drivers and install new ones, but I don't know where to start on that. Here's my System stuff Any help will be appreciated!

This is a slightly forced Intro, but I'm ok with that. I want to keep this open to any comments. If you have a sugestion for the game I want you to say IT NOW! pre-text for coming here, I figure a forum would be a good idea to ask for help with ideas and revisions, I tried newgrounds, but ummm yeah... Now here is the game thus far The main character is named Ethan Varvosov (i'm keeping it) and the concept is still up in the air, but the main theme is that there is a rift from a ALTERNET UNIVERCE that is making imposible things happen yadda yadda. Ethan is a ex-personal opperator for an orgnization called the New American Army. With all that being said, I will most likely make a story scrip and put it some where. This isn't my only reason for here I also want to find some of the Brony comunity.

I love to play Team Fortress 2 (username: Rifleman005) The first time i got interested was not from the show itself, when I was on YouTube, they had a death battle between rainbow dash and star scream, but then I gave my heart away to Fluttershy on the first episode Fluttershy is best pony ^_^(she is so cute :3) So now that's out of the way I'd like to say it is an honour and privilege to be part of this brony community since the month of November, because it has helped me to smile more every day even though I never really talked to anyone or any pony, its really the kind of content and stuff people come up with. I still still love the show to this very day. by the way if anypony wants to add me on steam its rifleman005, i play tf2 mostly. Thanks
