  1. Roleplay Type: WoE Name: Johdpur, Alias Lope Lighthoof Gender: Male Age: Stallion Species: Earth Pony Eye colour: Blue Coat: Sky blue with a white strip down his muzzle Mane/Tail: Navy blue Physique: Fairly average physique for a stallion, think the Doctor Hooves template Residence: Manehattan Occupation: Secret agent of the Secret Monster Intelligence League of Equestria (S.M.I.L.E.) Cutie Mark: Johdpur’s cutie mark appeared as a colt when he ran in the Running of the Leaves in Ponyville, where he was born. He wasn’t a part of the main event, of course, because he was too young, but he ran in the foals bracket. He and a pegasus wound up neck and neck in the last hundred metres of the track, and he was able to push himself forward, winning by a horse length. His cutie mark (three hoof prints) appeared, affirming that his athleticism was his destiny. Unique Traits: As a trained agent, Johdpur has picked up several skills along the way. He is a gifted charlatan, which makes him good at undercover operations, as well as a good lie detector; he was trained back before the transformation of the changeling hive, and therefore was trained on how to spot them, facial expressions and gestures being one of those methods. History: Johdpur was born and raised in Ponyville, and grew up with all the accompanying traditions, including Winter Wrap-Up, the Running of the Leaves, and many more. He was always outgoing as a colt and enjoyed all sorts of outdoor games and sports. he even seemed to have a knack for them. After winning the foals’ bracket in the Running of the Leaves one year, he earned his cutie mark in just the kinds of games and sports he loved. As a young stallion, Johdpur tried out for and made the Ponyville buckball team, replacing Pinkie after she retired. He made his name as a talented player, though he never gained national popularity like his predecessor had. On a return trip from the national championships, Johdpur’s train was derailed suddenly by a passing Ursa Major. Enraged by the pain of being struck, it began to tear the cars apart. Johdpur was still recovering from the impact as the car before them was crushed beneath the great bear’s paws. He knew he had to act fast. Adrenaline propelled him through the nearest opening just before the car was ripped apart. Only two other ponies escaped the carnage. And the monster still had several cars to go. Suddenly, popping sounds were heard all around as unicorns in black vests and sunglasses suddenly appeared around the Ursa, confusing it. They brought with them earth ponies and pegasi in matching attire, who immediately began rescue efforts on the other cars while the unicorns kept the Ursa Major at bay with magical beams. Johdpur did what he could to help, and managed to rescue a couple of foals who were trapped near the front. Most of the ponies were evacuated by the time the engine exploded. At length, the Ursa Major was tranquilized, and aerial support arrived to move it out of the area. Airships also landed to supply trauma support and medical care for the wounded while they awaited another train, which took it’s time in arriving. Before boarding, each pony was shown a hoof mirror by a unicorn and was explained where their injuries had come from and why they hurt the way they did. Their story was that the train had derailed, but that paramedics had helped them. No one on board would remember the Ursa Major or the Mares in Black. Johdpur was one of the last to get on. He had sustained a fairly severe hindquarter injury which he did not notice until it was pointed out to him by the paramedics, who treated him for it immediately. He looked into the mirror, unaware, as the others had been, that his memory was about to be altered, when the unicorn stopped. She commented on Johdpur’s bravery and skill in the situation and invited him to join their secret agency. He would have to leave his Ponyville life behind. According to everyone who knew him, he would have died in the train accident. The unicorn gave him a choice between not remembering the traumatic experience as it was, or becoming an agent of the Secret Monster League of Equestria. After some deliberation, Johdpur signed on. Training was rigorous, and lasting effects of his leg injury often held him back, but it was worth it. Johdpur moved from city to city, confirming changeling sightings, capturing escaped prisoners of tartarus, and running damage control on various monster attacks. He was no longer known as Johdpur. He was officially Agent Lope Lightfoot of S.M.I.L.E. Currently, he operates out of the Manehatten Hidequarters, but he is prepared to relocate at the drop of a hat. He works closely with his Unicorn partner, Agent Delta Hoof (to be apped later) Character Personality: Lope is friendly and able to fit himself into virtually any social situation (part of what makes him such an effective agent). He is confident in himself to the point of being somewhat prideful. Character Summary: Lope Lighthoof is a proud but overall kind pony who was involved in a traumatic event as a young stallion and as a result became a member of a secret monster defense agency which is in danger of collapse due to replacement by the STAR force. He has no friends, and according to all those he used to know, is dead. He can fit into virtually any social situation and is a proficient runner, though his back leg makes this more difficult for him than it used to be.
  2. Roleplay Type: Friendship is Magic CastName: Discord, Lord of ChaosGender: MaleAge: Unknown, most likely as old as the world itself. The first known documentation of him was 1,000 years prior to the events of the Friendship is Magic seriesSpecies: DraconequusEye colour: Yellow eyeballs with red irises and white pupilsCoat: Predominantly brown, though with different colours to correspond to the different creatures that make up his body: Grey head and neck (pony) Brown torso (Eagle) Yellow/tan right arm (Lion) Brown/tan left leg (Goat) Green right leg (Lizard) Red tale (Dragon) Light blue left wing (Pegasus/Bird) Dark blue/black left wing (Bat pony/Bat) Mane/Tail: Black mane on his head but pink plates running down his tail and ending in a white tuftPhysique: Tall and thin, very much like a snake or Chinese dragon. He has four limbs but unlike most Equestrian creatures is bipedal. The level of muscularity varies from limb to limb but is proportionate in size to the creature it is from. He is comprised of at least ten distinct creatures (listed above, in addition to the horns, described hereafter). He has two horns (one from a gazelle and another from a deer) and a single fang. He has two wings but rarely uses them, preferring "snap travel" to any other form of transportation. He can manipulate his own shape, size, outfit, and form at will, which he often does for comedic effect (or to bring together four of Equestria's worst villains).Residence: Chaosville, EquestriaOccupation: Protector of Equestria: After being reformed, Discord is occasionally called in by the Princesses to help assess and neutralise threats to the kingdom. However, he does this only at his own pleasure, cooperating only if/when he wants to. He knows that the magic of friendship is sufficient (and is in many ways more powerful than his own) for the protection of Equestria, and so will more often encourage its use than employ his own. On the side, he is an avid Ogres and Oubliettes player and professional mischief-maker.Cutie Mark: N/A Unique Traits: Discord is the only known draconequus in Equestria. His magic gives him total control of all reality, and should he choose to use its full potential, he could thrust the world into eternal chaos (which he has attempted three times, twice being thwarted by use of the Elements of Harmony and the third time ending of his own free will in order to keep his only friend, Fluttershy). Chaos is a part of him and is actually one of his sustaining features. Without chaos, Discord would fade away out of existence. For this reason, he is often seen in random positions or outfits, usually comedic in nature, regardless of how serious the situation is. History: Discord's origins are unknown, but his first appearance was in Equestria 1,000 years prior to the events of the Friendship is Magic series. During his reign, he transformed Equestria into his personal playground of chaos, inverting gravity, spreading chocolate rain from cotton-candy clouds, changing textures of the world, etc. Only after Celestia and Luna discovered the Elements of Harmony and used them to turn him to stone did his reign end and he was imprisoned in the Canterlot Garden Maze for a millennium. At some point, the powers of chaos within Equestria became strong enough to break the spell binding him (pushed over the edge by a nearby argument between three fillies whose names we will not discuss for personal privacy reasons [it was the Cutie Mark Crusaders]) and he was released to corrupt reality once more. Discord is more interested in the thrill and fun of games than he is in being totally victorious and so he left open a way to defeat him, provided the Mane Six could figure it out. After corrupting them individually against their own natures, he practically cemented his own victory and resumed the storm of chaos that the Elements had halted one thousand years prior. However, Twilight soon learned how to circumvent his tricks and unified her friends once more, then used the Elements to turn him back into stone, ending his reign once and for all. Not long after his second defeat, Celestia ordered the Mane Six to bring him back as she felt he could be a powerful ally. With time, love, and friendship from Fluttershy, Discord soon reformed and proved Celestia right, making himself a powerful ally to the kingdom. It took him a while to warm up to the other ponies, however, and for some time, Fluttershy remained his only friend and sole motivation to do anything in Equestria's favour. He refused to lift a finger to assist when his seeds of chaos planted before his first entombment sprouted and kidnapped the princesses. In fact, his bond with the other ponies was so weak at first that on his first mission, he quickly defected, choosing to side with Lord Tirek in his attempts to overthrow Equestria. This taught him a difficult but meaningful lesson, and he has remained loyal ever since. He often acts selfishly but typically has the best intentions in mind. He has been known to feign disability and injury in order to prove the power of his friends' friendship, and even went so far as to stage a massive, elaborate attack on Canterlot on the day of Twilight's coronation for the sake of boosting her confidence (a plot that backfired terribly on him and the rest of Equestria). Character Personality: Discord is the picture of chaotic good. He acts only if and when he wants to, and is not a fan of work. He is more spontaneous and random that Pinkie Pie herself as it is within his very nature to be so. Though he is loyal to his friends, he tends to act in his own self interests first (unless of course Fluttershy is involved). He shares a powerful bond with Fluttershy that many take for romance, but is in fact simply a very strong friendship (he has already displayed in the series his distaste for and lack of understanding of romance and love). He is optimistic and incapable of not finding humour in any situation. It is in his nature to be as chaotic and comedic as possible. Character Summary: Discord is arguably the most powerful being in Equestria, having control over all reality, but only if he wants to be. He typically only exercises his power to the extent of entertaining himself or benefitting (in however roundabout a way) his friends. Once, he was the most powerful villains Equestria has ever known. Now, he is one of its truest friends. His best friend is Fluttershy. He loves Ogres and Oubliettes and all things chaos. He requires chaos to survive, in fact, having nearly been wiped from existence in an incident in which he tried to behave normally. He is the only being of his type and the only known creature (other than perhaps Tirek) capable of safely harnessing the powers of chaos magic. He loves to be the centre of attention and often does things simply for their comedic impact. In the end, he is a loyal and powerful friend.

Think the CMCs.Residence: Formerly Canterlot, currently the School of FriendshipOccupation: StudentCutie Mark: A white, glowing circle (filled in), orbited on either side by turquoise comet-like shapes. It appeared one evening when her parents left for the Grand Galloping Gala, leaving her home alone with her two siblings, Nebula Star and Starshine, both of whom were younger than her. Starshine was still a baby at the time, and Nebula Star was only a couple years beneath Morning Glow. Morning Glow loved her siblings, of course, but they could be a bit... much. Nebula seemed to have nothing better to do than to follow Morning Glow around and marvel at her every action. Had he not been a colt, he would have even copied her manestyle. She much preferred having a sitter. That way, she could shut her door and read or practice her magic while an older pony looked after her siblings. But this time, her parents decided she was old enough to be responsible for them, and so did not go through the trouble of asking anyone to look over them. While she was occupied with changing Starshine's diaper, Nebula Star snuck into her room and looked at the open book on her desk. It had been left open to a spell she had been practicing. In an effort to impress his older sister, he attempted to cast it. However, instead of reversing the decay of a rotting apple on her desk, he missed and hit the desk itself, causing it to begin to revert to a tree. Hearing her brother's cry for help, Morning Glow raced to her room and assessed the situation. Nebula clearly had no idea what he was doing, and the tree was already beginning to push against the ceiling. In desperation, she attempted to cast a failsafe spell her father had taught her, which essentially neutralized any magic currently active in a given area. She had never successfully cast it before. But that night, either because of the weakness of her brother's unrefined magic or because of the sudden necessity behind her concentration, the spell echoed from her horn, bathing the room in her turquoise aura and reverting the tree back to a desk instantly. Unique Traits: Morning Glow has an uncanny ability to pick up on organization systems, particularly in libraries, without having them explained. It makes her very good at finding things in what appears to others to be chaos. It also makes it easy for her to navigate unfamiliar buildings without a guide, so long as she can get a general idea of how the building's various rooms are organized. History: Stardust was born and raised in Canterlot to two ponies of fairly high status: Evening Star, an alumni of the School of Magic, and Shining Stardust, an astronomer of good reputation. Though she was interested in both, she leaned more heavily towards her father's discipline, magic. For every one book on the sky that she read, she read two or three on magic and its history. When her mother would take her to the observatory, Morning Glow always brought a book along to read while her mother aimed the telescope. Though she always had an affinity for magic and a heavy interest in it, she was always harder on herself than she needed to be, always focusing on her inability to cast spells perfectly instead of seeing how well she was really doing for a filly her age. Her father always complimented her on her efforts, and her mother praised her diligence, but their words fell on deaf ears. Even her younger brother Nebula Star had no positive effect on her self esteem despite his constant reminders of how much he admired her and wanted to be like her. She mostly just found him annoying. At school, she focused on getting her homework done in class so that she would have as much time to study as possible when she got home. As such, she made no friends, which didn't really bother her. In fact, she hardly thought about it. When some foals in her class approached her about joining their Cutie Mark Crusaders club they were forming (following in the footsteps of the real CMCs), she payed them little attention, barely looking up from her book to tell them "No thank you." It wasn't until she received her own cutie mark that her self esteem began to grow, and with her confidence, her magic abilities also flourished. She was accepted into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, where she determined to become the top of her class. Unfortunately, despite her grit and constant study, she was unable to achieve that goal. She was still a straight A student, but was always eclipsed by more talented unicorns. Her parents were delighted with her nonetheless. One day, however, her instructor asked her and her parents to visit outside of school hours. Her instructor told them that after counseling with the Princess herself, they had decided a new course of study would be better for Morning Glow. They said she had the potential to do so much more, but was holding herself back by isolating herself. The counselor strongly recommended transferring her to the School of Friendship outside Ponyville. Her parents reluctantly agreed, and arrangements were made. As they helped her onto the train, they tried to be optimistic, but she could tell they were disappointed in her. They told her to do her best and to learn all she could, but what she heard instead was, "Finish as fast as you can so you can get back to your studies," which was precisely what she intended to do. Character Personality: Slightly uptight from living in Canterlot and introverted, though not shy. She enjoys studying more than socialising and is not very happy to be at the School of Friendship. She feels she has better things to do, and at some level, feels none of the creatures attending there are worth her time. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor. Character Summary: Morning Glow is a studious, level-headed pony who loves books on magic and astronomy (the former more than the latter). She is talented with magic, though she can often sabotage herself by being overly hard on herself, causing her confidence to reduce. For this reason, her councilor at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns has sent her to study at the School of Friendship. She feels this will help Morning Glow excel better than any book. Morning Glow is, of course, not excited about the downgrade, and is determined to graduate as quickly as possible.
  4. Roleplay Type: WoE Name: Cloudfeather (Nicknames: Cloudy Feather, Cloudy) Gender: Female Age: Mare Species: Pegasus pony Eye colour: Light blue Coat: Deep blue Mane/Tail: Blonde-gold Physique: Average (pretty much the standard pony size from the FiM series) Residence: Cloudsdale Occupation: Cloud machine technician Cutie Mark: Three gears behind a cloud (like a “partly cloudy” symbol) Cloudfeather received her cutie mark on the living room floor of her house playing with a chemistry set she had been given for her birthday. She combined several ingredients which reacted aggressively. When the fog cleared, a small cumulonimbus cloud hovered in the middle of the room, charged and ready strike. Her parents yelled and dashed to save her from it, but before they could do anything, she dispersed it into the walls of the house. It was then that she realised her talent was weather creation and management. Unique Traits: She tends to wear goggles wherever she goes, either on her eyes or on her forehead. Though she currently works as a cloud machine technician, she has worked in the factory lab before and has been on weather management crews for events (she’s always said her favourite part about weather managing is unboxing clouds). She does tend to stay away from weather management, though, because she has had several unfortunate accidents while doing the job, including being struck by lightning multiple times, breaking a wing after being sucked into and then ejected from a thunderhead, and breaking her harm after colliding with a building that was concealed by some fog she was attempting to clear. When it comes to making thunderheads, fogs, or clouds, however, she’s the pony for the job! History: Cloudy was born in the spring in Cloudsdale to mother and father Raindancer and Marshmallow Breeze (respectively). She was enrolled in flight camp before she received her cutie mark, and while it took her a while to get the hang of it, once she started flying, she excelled quickly. She is an above-average flyer, but could never be expected to keep up with a Wonderbolts reserve. After receiving her cutie mark, she was known for getting in trouble for pulling weather-related pranks (lighting a storm cloud bomb during the inauguration of the mayor of Cloudsdale, setting off a tornado in class, etc.). She was also found multiple times in areas of the cloud factory restricted to the public. She was never allowed a real pet, so instead she made a pet cloud that she could shape however she wanted. The type of cloud he was reflected Cloudy’s mood at any given time (cumulonimbus when she was mad, cirrus when she was lonely, rain when sad, cumulus when happy, etc.). She named him Fluffy and still has him today. As soon as she was old enough, she started an internship at the cloud factory, and loved every minute of it. She was still an intern when Rainbow Dash wrecked the factory to prevent winter, and as such ended up on the cleanup crew for the damages that were caused. As a result, although she is a huge fan of the Wonderbolts, she is in no way a fan of Rainbow Dash. She worked in the chemistry lab for a while, and was sometimes called out to assess faulty clouds to see what needed corrected in the formulas. The lab was secluded and demanded long hours. It was tiring and usually isolated, but she loved the work and so continued to do it. During a brief time living in Canterlot for some post secondary schooling, she worked as a weather pony, but she got injured enough that she finally quit and moved back to Cloudsdale, where she returned to her isolated office in the labs. Eventually, her parents began to comment on the fact that although she was positive, energetic, and outgoing as a foal, working in the laboratory seemed to have killed that part of her. She never went out with friends (they weren’t sure she even had any), and she seemed to be gloomy every time they saw her. She realized that working the lab had isolated her from everypony she knew and loved, and so she applied for transfer to a different branch of the factory. The cloud machines came naturally to her, and though she had to conquer some social anxiety from suddenly working with multiple ponies all the time, she soon found friends in her fellow technicians and began to be positive and energetic once more. As part of her job, she was often called out to fix weather machines in towns around Equestria, including Canterlot, Manehatten, and more. Her best friend is another pegasus pony named Thunderwing. He’s cocky and often thinks he’s better at flying than he really is, resulting in some accidents on the job. The two of them work together often and share many of the same interests. Cloudy has no siblings, a fact that has always made her slightly sad. To compensate, she often plays with the fillies and colts around Cloudsdale and the other cities she is called to, making cloud balls and games to entertain them. Cloudy frequently visits home, eating dinner with her parents at least once a week, but lives on the other side of Cloudsdale. Her parents are kind and proud of their daughter. Though she loves her job, Cloudy hopes to one day become a supervisor at the factory, and possibly even the factory president if she’s lucky. For now, however, she is quite content with her job, and she has never told anyone of her ambitions. Character Personality: Cloudy is energetic and outgoing (though not on a Pinkie Pie level) and loves to make new friends. She relishes the opportunity to fix or service cloud machines beyond the factory, and is an avid sight seer. Any time she takes off work is spent traveling and touring (though she doesn’t take work off often). She is sometimes oblivious to obvious situations (she still hasn’t noticed Thunderwing’s many attempts to ask her out), and can be forgetful as well. To compensate, she makes lists so that she can be sure to pack everything she needs, follow all the steps, etc. Character Summary: Cloudfeather is a pegasus pony employed as a weather machine technician at the Cloudsdale weather factory. She is energetic and outgoing and loves to make new friends. She is always accompanied by her pet cloud, Fluffy. She usually has a list of some kind on hand (a habit she got into while working in the lab) because she is known to be forgetful and sometimes even a little clumsy. She lives in Cloudsdale but is not chained to the city; she is known to travel around Equestria. I don’t have an image for her yet, but i’ll add one once i do! edit: i changed some wording to make it sound better
  5. Roleplay Type: Canon Character Cast Name: Zecora Gender: Female Age: Mare Species: Zebra Eye colour: Dark Cyan Coat: A zebra coat is always black and white. Mane/Tail: The tail, no different, white and black. Physique: Walking a lot helps keep one trim, but plenty of good food can balance that out a bit. Residence: Ponyville, but not in the town. An old and large forest tree was hollowed out for a humble hut, which is where the story begins anew. Occupation: An herbalist by trade, a sage by requests for wisdom. Cutie Mark: The Healing Sun is a unique mark. Depicted by the grey spiral, for the solar orb, surrounded by small triangles, for it's rays. Jewelry: Golden rings around her foreleg. Golden Dzilla [dzeela] hoops around her neck. Large gold loops in her ears. Unique traits: Always speaking in rhyming couplets. It is a form of mental exercise to keep one's wit sharp, even into aging years. History: Not many know about the origins of Zebra in general, many often speculate that they came from the far south east but no one really knows for sure. All any know about Zecora is that she is from "a faraway land". If you would like to know more, she may just keep her secrets, but I'm sure the princess of friendship might know something. (See MLP:FIM S01E09 "Bridle Gossip") Character Personality: Not necessarily shy, but not very talkative, she speaks when she has something important to say. Thinking deeply about her next words helps her not say something she might regret. Taught from a young age to speak with purpose and clarity, she takes it to the next step and thinks through everything she says well enough to rhyme in couplets every time she says anything. Any creature in need of aid can expect this zebra glad to provide wisdom in how to solve things yourself, a listening ear to express yourself or simply a helping hoof, but do not mistake her kindness for weakness. Her strong heart and wise mind will always bring her to the best path she can follow. A leader of sorts, as a sage or a shaman. Learned in medicinal flora and concoctions therewith, she can often find a solution to most problems, whether they are of the body, heart or mind. Her mentors taught her to always listen to everything, for knowledge is the best tool for every situation. She takes this a step further and seems to often wait for everyone to be done talking before she shares her thoughts... In rhyming couplets. "It is best to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove any doubt". This was said many times to her when she spoke out of turn and didn't think her words through. Wisdom only comes from taking the time to understand. If you rush into things, you can not know them very well. Examine what is before you, connect it to things you know, learn about things you do not yet understand and grow from your new knowledge. She keeps to the paths of wisdom by taking the time to think of a rhyme, one that can display what she wants to say. Character Summary: While most are busy in town, she is hard at work, gathering ingredients and working on concoctions, whether they be potions or a tasty stew. Some visit for wisdom, others want to find some trouble's cure, but a new friend is what she will likely be looking for. She will happily listen, for that is an important thing, else you might not listen to the wisdom she'll offer. Let me know if you feel I forgot any important details about this well known character.

  8. Roleplay Type: Literate Name: Dream Weaver Sex: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Unicorn Eye colour: Fuschia Coat: Seafoam Green Mane/Tail: Long, with streaks of pastel yellow, pink, and blue, slightly curled at the ends Physique: Average Residence: Cradle Plaza/Canterlot Occupation: Dream Pony Cutie Mark: A stitched shooting star with a tail that matches her mane. It appeared halfway through her training when she snuck out to chase Forever Moor one night, almost falling off the balcony after slaying her first real nightmare. History: A long time ago, a plague of nightmares swept across all of Equestria. Unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies alike were hindered by constant visions and insomnia caused by this astounding phenomenon. The ponies lived in fear and unrest. Princess Celestia gathered together a group of “Dream Ponies” — specially-trained, magically-blessed ponies with the ability to enter dreams and combat nightmares — and sent them to be the force to successfully bring an end to the nightmares’ reign while Princess Luna was under the guise of 'Nightmare Moon'. Since then, fewer and fewer Dream Ponies have come about. Only two known Dream Ponies are known to currently exist. Dream Weaver was born and raised in Canterlot, brought up by her mother and father Maybelle and Atticus, respectively. She would go on to receive specialized training from the Royal Guard in order to perform her duty (as well as a magical blessing from the Princess herself) all while Canterlot searched for the second known Dream Pony. It was only after she graduated from training that she was told she'd be living on her own in Cradle Plaza, a platform that overlooks Canterlot. Although she had to leave her family in order to serve her duty, it was there that she met her apprentice and best friend, Copernicus. Once Princess Luna was reformed and returned to her duty cleaning up Equestria's nightmares in one fell swoop, it left Dream Weaver and Copernicus out of a job, forcing the two to live seperately in Canterlot. Around the time of Twilight Sparkle's coronation and the birth of Cadence's & Shining Armor's child, the princesses realized that there were more to their duties than they could fulfill alone. Luna personally assigned Dream Weaver and Copernicus back to Cradle Plaza to keep a watch out for Forever Moor, occasionally returning to Canterlot to report their findings. Now she uses her magic to fight her rival, Forever Moor, and prevent him from spreading a plague of nightmares across Equestria. Character Personality: Dream Weaver values duty and righteousness over all else. Her job comes first -- that is, when her friends aren't at risk. Since she doesn't get out much, it is sometimes difficult for her to make friends; however, she is trying hard to come out of her shell. It takes quite a while to earn her trust, and once you lose it, good luck getting it back! Character Summary: Dream Weaver is a nightmare-fighting unicorn who lives alongside her trusty apprentice in Cradle Plaza. When she's not engaging stubborn nightmares in hoof-to-hoof combat, she likes sewing, drinking flavored tea, and listening to relaxing music. She doesn't require or get much sleep at all, so it's easy for her to get sick. Using her magic too much causes her to suffer from chronic migraines, as well as short-term memory loss. She owns a pet goldfish named Leo.
  9. Roleplay Type: Free-for-all Name: Apple Stars Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Earth Pony Eye color: A bright baby blue Coat: Blonde with white freckles on his cheeks Mane/Tail: Dark brunette tied in a short spiked ponytail with an orange mane tie Physique: Skinny though with a bit of muscle to him. Residence: He tends to move around a lot due to his job. Mostly in Manehattan or Canterlot but he'll always come back to Appleloosa one way or another Occupation: Stars is a famous country-styled singer who often visits different places each week to sing for the ponies and other species of Equestria. Cutie Mark: A green apple with three stars flowing down the side of the apple Whilst on a trip with his father to help them bond and make up for lost time Apple had gotten back into secretly singing. It had always helped him calm himself when he was a foal. As they slowly started to bond over travel and discussions about the farm and life being famous the colt was confident enough to show his father his singing voice and when he did, things took a big turn. He felt it was for the better. After some convincing and encouragement, Cunning had set up a small show in Canterlot where all the primmest and proper ponies live. His son would be the star and show off his singing voice to the world but Apple didn't know if he was ready. In fact on the night of the show, he ran from it before it began, way too anxious to show other ponies his voice afraid of judgment and looks of disgust. He didn't feel like he could handle all those eyes on him and face those ponies head on. It was too much so he found a small alley way to hide in and stayed there for a few hours. Making sure he was hidden within his covers of old boxes and a dumpster. Of course, all too soon in his opinion one of his father's bodyguards found him and made him walk back to his father. Unable to handle the pressure Stars cried on Cunning's shoulder all while he comforted his son with soft words and praise. Telling him that there was no reason to be scared and that he was here for him. That was a moment in his life that became precious to him but he still didn't know what to sing and that's when the best thing his father has ever said to him came forth. "Sing about what you love" His farm, his family, that's what he loved the most. Suddenly finding lyrics in his head Stars got on that stage and paid no mind to the audience, only singing about what he loved. He soon heard cheering and hooves clapping together but continued to sing his heart out, feeling what his true passion was and what he was meant to be. Right then and there his cutie mark appeared. Unique Traits: The only earth pony in his immediate family who has an apple in his cutie mark History: Foal years - Born in the small town of Appleloosa to his mother Orange Cider and his father Cunning Shades, Apple Stars was named partly after his great, great grandfather who used to be part of the apple family making him a distant apple along with his mother. As a foal, he was a shy and timid thing. Always clinging to his mother and crying whenever she had to go to work on the farm. He was lonely most of the time due to his father always being out at shows and being a model around Canterlot. This is what sparked a creativeness in the young foal as he started making up his own games to play instead of crying all day. It included singing and pretending to farm like his mother. Colt years - As he grew up, Stars assumed he'd just be an apple farmer like his mother since he had given up on singing due to how shy he was around other ponies. He was perfectly fine with being an apple farmer however and grew close with his mother. Often remarked as mama's boy by his cousins. Of course, Orange was rather prideful of that name and would always call him that resulting in him feeling embarrassed most of the time. Though despite this, he was still a rather hard-working stallion and did his best to support his mother while working the front at a small little bar that Orange's family had owned for generations. . When his father came home there was always some uncomfortable distance between them. Since he was never around much of his life there had always been some sort of distance between them. Orange wasn't fond of the distance between her two boys and came up with a plan to bring them together and sent them off on a trip with each other to further their relationship having no idea that's what changed her son's life forever. After getting his cutie mark he excitedly went on the train the very next day and making sure to hug his father goodbye since he still had business in Canterlot. With a happy mind and heart Apple had made his way to Appleoosa where after he announced his cutie mark everyone celebrated the fact that he had become a small time celebrity and had gotten his cutie mark. After that celebration, nothing had ever been the same. When his father came back they both bonded a lot more and he felt happy to get to know his father along with going with him every time he left and starting up his career as a performer. He started singing in small towns at first like ponyvile and slowly over time worked himself up to be able to sing in front of millions of ponies and sign autographs. Stallion years (Where he is now) - Now living in manehattan and famous the stallion still does his best to visit his family and had gladly taken over his father's career when he retired only he sung. Sometimes he would model here and there for a promo of his new show but besides that life was good for him right now even with it being instantly busy. Although one thing had always been bothering him and that's his recent discovery of liking other stallions. Character Personality: Apple Stars is quite a shy stallion despite being famous. He still has a hard time speaking to ponies one on one though his fans rather think that's cute. He also has the personality of someone who wants to help ponies in bad situations. He's gentle and understanding and is willing to do anything to help somepony. Stars is also very soft-hearted. He'll always try to remain calm and collected in the face of confrontation even if he has plans to avoid it at all costs. With family and close friends: Gentle and caring, Apple Stars can be the best friend that may exist. In fact, he often put the needs of his friends in front of his needs. He is loyal, devoted, compassionate and whenever there is some problem in the family or among friends, he will do his best to resolve it. Stars is expressive and he will not hesitate to express his feelings to the ponies around him. He expects others to be open to him as he is. Communication with loved ones is very important for him. Character Summary: Just a country stallion who worked his way to fame but still has a soft heart and mind.

During one of her first days there, she meant a group of supposedly nice ponies, who did a complete 180 when they found out she wasn't from a noble house, calling her "that common bat pony criminal." However in a social setting, she is super outgoing, although she only sees a few others as close friends. Everyone else is just ponies she talks to sometimes. Most of the time she is perfectly willing to teach others about bat pony culture, but if she's working or if you said something offensive, Feather will glare at you until you leave. Even in her youth, the filly had proved to be a scholar in the making; Usually locking herself up in her room at night to fill her mind with the knowledge of all the books she would save up to buy through the weeks in her life. The books of stories collected from all across her land were always her favorites... and one of the things that drove her to begin her digs and searches for many of the lost treasures and traces of the stories and magnificent sights that made her favorite stories so fantastic. As She grew the mare proved to have a lust for knowledge and an ambition that had her land herself into a position among one of the many notable schools of education in Dufly. Thanks to her own ambition and assistance from her parents back down at the shores. Eventually though, this love of knowledge came to inspire her to explore her homeland further and much more intensely than others in her culture had before. Many exploratory and archaeological exploits all around the deserts, mountains and islands that make up her homeland on the maps. Through her many exploits she has made many discoveries that have been shared with the intellectual communities all across Saddle Arabia and even some beyond. Her discoveries in Saddle Arabia had already gained the attention of some Equestrian scholars as well; one of which having lead her to very interesting events; including two foals that have of this time left for Equestria to make their mark on the world there. Then came the time of Debate. The previous Sultan’s ten years were ending a new one was to be chosen unanimously by the most promising candidates in the land. Basira's accomplishments in various fields of study among the highest scholars in Dufly had brought her hear... that and the good will she had with other tribes across the land who had thought their tribes ancient history to be gone from them forever. The talks were incredibly intense, long winded debates that were almost as physically exhausting as it was mentally to speak of the future path of a land as great as Saddle Arabia. The Debate went on even longer than it's usual time thanks to the many promising candidates. Many stallions and mares grew heated and at some points lashed out which only made them realize how they were not ready for this position. It was in the end only Basira who proved both cool headed and knowledgeable about the cultures and histories of their land and had eaned the favor of almost all of the inhabitants in the land… it was decided that She would be the Sultan. Character Summary: Affable and wise is good way to Describe the Sultan. Her love of the knowledge and value of historical and cultural treasure are very well documented. The few times she has ever been known to lose her temper is when discoveries are damaged or broken by irresponsible behavior on anyone’s part… and doing so on purpose is enough to rapidly get you out of her favor. Besides her love of archaeology, She has proven to be fond of martial arts as well. But instead of those who practice it as a form of self defense, she does it primarily as a form of meditation to calm and focus her mind; with all the responsibilities she has been having thrust upon her since taking her place in Manephis it has proven to be incredibly helpful. Part of what has spurred her interest in archaeology since she was a small horse was the many legends passed around in her culture; A tale of one thousand and one nights of wonder. Because of where she grew up and where she was born (the shores and ports of Dubfly); The Sultan has a very VERY low opinion of pirates and many ships or airships that leave her shores tend to have extra protection. The town of Puerto Aguila is often monitored and watched often and any city near water or that has been plagued by sky pirates in the past is usually subject to entire walls covered by wanted posters that are updated daily. There are many things that Basira has learned to do in her life but some skills she seemed to be literally incapable of improving. Her lack of skill in this area being bad enough that she is unable to cook anything simpler than the simplest of sandwiches… one incident she doesn't talk about in the Dufly academy’s dining hall has made so that the cooks even she hired herself encourage her not to be near the food at any point during preparation. While Basira is very happy with her life she does occasionally feel slightly unfulfilled as one of the myths she had hoped to uncover since she was small has still never been found.. But she rarely speaks of what that myth was to anyone but her most trusted allies and advisers.
  13. Name: Aurora Gleam Gender: Female Age: Young Mare (just old enough to be considered a mare) Species: Unicorn Eye colour: Magenta Character colour: light purple-pink Mane/Tail/Other: Both mane and tail are wavy the color starting at a light pink on one side, transitioning to a dark pink about half way across, then changing to a light purple that transitions to a dark purple. Throughout her mane and tail are small star-like points that glow softly Physique: Nothing really abnormal about her physical appearance (other than previously mentioned regarding her mane and tail) Residence: Canterlot Occupation: Looking for a job after finishing her studies at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark covers her entire flank, and appears to be a starry night sky superimposed with an aurora Unique Traits: [Aurora focuses on using the least amount of magic necessary to leverage larger-than-expected results. This has led to her being very detail-oriented and, some might say, slightly OCD. History: Born and raised in Marelia, Aurora showed a strong potential for magic and magic theory at a young age. Her parents took her to Canterlot to see if she could gain entry into the prestigious School for Gifted Unicorns. Her knowledge and skill regarding minimum-effort magic truly impressed her proctors during her Unicorn Magic Aptitude Test, earning her place in the school. During her schooling, she heard stories of a rather exceptional unicorn that had done so well as to gain the personal attentions and instructions from a rather important pony. This lead to her desiring that kind of personal instruction and drove her to try even harder, in the hopes that she could one day become a stronger unicorn. Her natural inclination for magic and previous studies had resulted in being placed in advanced magic theory classes with fillies and colts fairly older than her. While most other students were either kind, or too busy with their own studies to interact, the fillies and colts her own age seemed to draw away from her. This wasn't out of any malice, but the lack of commonality between the group and her left little to bridge the gap that her schedule left her. After a few months of almost total isolation, Aurora realized that she needed to interact with somepony, whether she really cared to or not. Weeks of awkward attempts at interactions with other ponies, both in her classes and those closer to her age, left Aurora frustrated at her own social awkwardness. While heading back to her dorm one night after another uncomfortable attempt at conversation, she noticed a pony sitting alone on a bench. Looking closer, Aurora noticed that the filly seemed to be upset. All of her instincts told her to trot by, that this had nothing to do with her, that there was nothing she could do to help; instead, Aurora took a steadying breath and thought to herself " How would a strong and kind pony deal with thsi?". With that thought giving her perspective, she approached the sad pony and struck up a conversation. Velvet Crescent, as the pony identified herself, had traveled to Canterlot with a few of her friends for a vacation, but had been left behind after somepony in the group and turned out to be a bit more bully than friend. Aurora felt a pang of sympathy for the lone earth pony. She invited Velvet to join her in her dorm room for the night, and, with a little convincing, the sniffling pony accepted. Through the night, Aurora and Velvet talked as if they'd been the best of friends for years, sharing fears, hopes, and dreams. After several hours, the two fillies fell asleep. The next day Aurora escorted Velvet around Canterlot, showing her all the sights. Finally, they ended up at the train station, where Aurora purchased a ticket for Velvet. Following a heartfelt farewell, Velvet boarded the train and Aurora saw her make her way to a cabin and start to wave from behind the window. Aurora couldn't help but feel good after having helped somepony else the way she had. She noticed Velvet, pointing a hoof her way, grinning and shouting something. Confused, she looked herself over and quickly noticed the mark covering her flank; she grinned and waved enthusiastically at her departing friend, happy that she'd helped another pony, made a friend, and learned about herself in the process. Years later, she has just graduated and is still chasing her goal of her becoming the personal student of a powerful unicorn or maybe even an alicorn. Unfortunately she has no good ideas as to how she could impress anypony enough for them to want her as a personal student. Character Personality: Aurora is a very kind pony, and seems to exude an aura of calm; even animals tend to be calmer around her. She is typically somewhat reserved at first meeting, but wouldn't be considered shy. She isn't naive or ignorant to manipulation, but does try to always give the benefit of the doubt. Character Summary: Aurora is a motivated and talented unicorn that wants to do what she can to help everypony else. Her abilities in using small magics to elicit larger-than-expected effects has earned her the respect of some other unicorns that are aware of the difficulty in utilizing such methods, but to most, she is simply a weak unicorn that can sometimes perform some magics in odd ways. She is always ready to help a pony in need, but can sometimes take on too much responsibility for things that may be out of her control. Even so, she will often keep up a happy front for others, so it's difficult to think of her as anything but a happy, helpful pony.
  14. Name: Mira; she goes by this name even in her pony form. Gender: Female Age: Young mare Species: Changeling. She is a unicorn in pony form. Eye colour: Light blue, in both forms. Character colour: As a changeling, Mira is a dark grey, although lighter in colour than most changelings. Her fur is light grey in pony form. Mane/Tail/Other: Her mane and tail style are similar in both forms, although Mira's tail is somewhat shorter in her pony form. Her mane is long and messy, often in her face. It is a dull greenish blue in changeling form, and a bright teal in pony form. Physique: Average size for a changeling, although she is skinnier than most. Residence: Mira travels around Equestrian, in search for a place where she can truly belong. Occupation: She works odd jobs to earn bits, but is a hobby swordsmare. Cutie Mark: In her pony form, Mira's cutie mark Is a sword reflecting itself. History: Mira, like most changelings, was born into the hive. She was raised no differently than the others before the invasion of Canterlot: taught to worship and work for the Queen. However, Mira thought differently then the others. She didn't want to live like a changeling, even though her assigned role was simply guarding the outskirts of the hive. She knew feeding was something she had to do and couldn't avoid it, but why did they have to worship a queen? Mira was the introverted type, she would rather be alone than be part of a colony. When she tried to tell other changelings this, they made fun of her for it, calling her names such as a pony. It got worse and worse, and as it did Mira began to hate the their lifestyle even more. One day while walking alone around the hive, Mira was confronted. It was the usual group of bullies, only this time instead of insulting her with words, they been to shove her around. As she was pushed into a wall, she hit her head and fell to the ground. The others laughed, saying she deserved it for hating their lifestyle. However, instead of cowering and being weak, she looked up at then with anger in her eyes. She wouldn't take this torment anymore. Mira stood up, her head still throbbing, and slugged one of the bullies. He fell to the ground, and Mira hit him several more times before looking at the other two changelings that were still standing. They had stopped laughing, and were staring at her wide eyed before scrambling away. But it wasn't long before Mira came back to her senses. The changeling she had hit was unconscious. What had she done? Scared, Mira ran away from the scene. In fact, she ran until she was away from the hive. She didn't want to see those other changelings again. For days, Mira hid in the outskirts of Equestria, alone and afraid. She felt like a monster. It was only until she reached a small town out in the middle of nowhere where she saw pony lifestyle for the first time. It was a chance at a new life. And so Mira transformed into a pony for the first time. But just as she was about to enter the town she stumbled over something. It was a sword. Mira picked it up in her magic, swinging it around. And for the first time in a long time, Mira felt something she had longed for. She felt safe. No one could touch her, she was strong. And so, Mira entered the pony lifestyle with that sword almost always at her side. She belonged somewhere in Equestria, but she didn't know where. And so Mira travels to this day, searching for the one place she can truly belong in. Character Summary/Personality: Mira spends as much time as possible in her pony form. She believes it is her true self, who she's supposed to be. She's almost always serious and blunt, but she feels strong, and thats what's important. She has her sword, but will never hurt anyone with it without reason. When it comes to interacting with the other ponies, Mira has no problem. She feels like one of them in her unicorn form. However, at some point all changelings must be in their natural form, and Mira is no exception. But she is completely different in this form. She's shy, timid, and overall weak. Her natural form just reminds her of her past days in the hive, and her memories of the past often give her panic attacks. However, She may be much stronger and more alive in her pony form, but any huge reminder of her past is the one thing that'll break her tough pony shell. Overall, Mira can appear as a strong, serious pony, but the changeling on the inside is always holding her back.
  15. Name: Sapphire Blitz Gender: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Earth Pony Eye colour: Sapphire Blue Character colour: Smoky Grey Mane/Tail/Other: A mixture of different shades of blue, but not drastically so (like sky-blue versus sapphire blue). It falls lightly around her head and neck. Many who see it describe it as a waterfall. Physique: About average for a mare of her age, if a bit slimmer than most. Residence: Nowhere. Sapphire tends to travel from place to place when she can. She doesn't like to be in the same place for too long. Occupation: She does odd jobs for money, as opposed to working for any one pony. She isn't very picky about what she does. In her mind, anything that gets her her bits is good enough. Cutie Mark: Nothing more than a simple yin-yang symbol. It represents peace and being at-ease. Most importantly, however, it represents neutrality. Sapphire doesn't take sides, nor does she act unless provoked. Unique Traits: Sapphire can usually be seen with a saddle-bag on, as it is necessary for holding the things she needs for travel. Of course, it holds everything she absolutely needs and little more. She doesn't have the room for things she wants, because she isn't strong enough to pull a cart everywhere she travels to. Another thing she has become accustomed to during her travels is her hood. A light grey hood that she wears during her travels can sometimes be seen atop her head, simply due to the fact that she has forgotten to remove it. It is old and worn down, but she likes to think that it does the job that it is meant to, which is keep her head dry and the light out of her eyes. History: Sapphire began the journey of life in a small town known as Ponyville. Her parents were a pair of simple farmers by the names of Blue Gorge and Rose Water. They were often said to be inseparable, which was one of the clearest things anypony could see about the couple. So it was only natural that they should start a family together. The little filly they had was different from the start. She didn't cry, like most other newborns did, not even if she was hungry or tired. Sapphire didn't even cry when she felt she was in danger. Obviously, this worried her parents quite a bit. How would they know if anything was wrong or if she needed anything? The answer was simple enough; she would let them know. But not, of course, without attempting to fix the problem herself first. So many times they caught her climbing around the counters for milk or applesauce. A few years later, Sapphire was attending school like other fillies and colts her age were. She made decent grades, had some good friends, and even got a coltfriend! They were close, almost more so than Sapphire's parents were! They grew up together, attended each others' parties, played games together, along with anything else they could possibly do together. But this fantasy wouldn't last very long, as the colt found somepony else who he wanted to be with. It was the simple story of lost love. She wanted somepony to settle down with, but he didn't feel that way about her. So he left her for some other, older filly who he was "better suited" for. "It was probably for the better," she would say now. But now wasn't then, and then she was furious. They never fought, never argued, loved each other, and spent every day together. How could he have just thrown all of that away for some other filly? The anger bubbled, bubbled, toiled, and troubled until the cauldron couldn't hold it in any longer. She saw the two of them together one year on Nightmare Night, dressed up and lips locked. She lost it. All she could remember the following day was charging at the filly and then swinging her hooves for her face. Sapphire didn't care whether or not she won the fight, but the rest of town certainly seemed to. She had, apparently, hurt the filly's front leg in the fight, leaving her badly bruised and in serious pain. Nobody would speak to her, save for her parents, for a week. But that wasn't important. What was important was that she had gotten the anger out of her system and it could never hurt her again. But the damage was already done. Soon, Sapphire became a bit withdrawn from the world. She doesn't want anyone else to ever hurt her again, so she doesn't get too attached to anypony. She still talks and interacts with others, but she has difficulty forming any lasting relationships with any other ponies. So she left Ponyville. If she couldn't make any friends then what would be the point in staying in any one place for too long? She now travels across Equestria, searching for nothing in particular and meeting nopony, in her opinion, worth keeping in touch with. Cutie Mark Story: Following the events that took place on Nightmare Night, Sapphire became withdrawn from those around her. But she had gotten all of the anger out of her system, which was the important thing, as it helped her earn her cutie mark. Only a few days after the incident, Sapphire began to wander the roads of Ponyville as she used to. But, as the event was still in every pony's mind, she was shunned for her wrong-doings. However this time, Sapphire cared little of what the other ponies thought of her. She had come to terms with what she had done, and knew that it was wrong to have beaten the other filly up, even if she hadn't hurt her like she did. Sapphire understood that it was an act of jealousy, nothing more, nothing less. Why couldn't anypony else? After a couple of days of this same occurrence, Sapphire had become accustomed to this continuous routine. She didn't mind being ignored, so long as nopony bothered her. But, of course, there were always ponies who would mess with her, either in good ways or in bad. For example, one day during the week of solitude, another colt, of about her age, dashed up to her. He told her that she was brave for standing up for herself the way she did, that he thought she was cool for showing those couple of "lovers" that they couldn't get the best of her. Of course, a deed like that could only be rewarded. How? By thanking him and giving him a small gift, of course! After all, it made her entire week! The next day, she gave the young colt a small medallion she had been given by her ex-coltfriend. Though, this was mostly for the fact that she couldn't stand the sight of it anymore. But every nicety had it's own opposite, and her's came the following day. A group of bullies found her out for what she had done and gave her what, they thought, she deserved. They teased her, heckled her, and pushed her around for about an hour straight before they left her to her lonesome self again. Eventually, she returned the favor by setting a small booby-trap near the spot that the group had claimed, which succeeded, as the group of bullies were rushing home the following afternoon, covered in dripping dough. When she had arrived home after completing the repayments, she found that she had, in fact, discovered her calling. A yin-yang symbol had found its home on her flank. It symbolized her neutrality, her desire to be on neither side, but in the middle. Though, this wasn't to say that she would never do anything if provoked. By her previous doings, she had proven that she would act if swayed, no matter what she had to do to make things balanced once more. Character Personality: Sapphire is blunt and open. She does little in the way of keeping secrets of her own, but has no trouble keeping secrets of others. Most everything she says is straight-forward, and that isn't hard to figure out. She does have a bit of restraint when it comes to this, however. She isn't outright rude with what she says, but if she thinks a pony needs to know something, then he'll know it in a reasonable amount of time. She has little in the way of real emotion. Her eyes never open more than half-way and her lips never form more than a frown or smirk. If anypony has ever seen her truly happy or sad, then it is because she trusts them, which isn't necessarily a good thing. She has very few, if any, close friends. Of course, she has friends, but she believes that anypony can have friends. It takes something special to be a close friend, and she isn't very open to friendship as it is, so if you find yourself calling her one of your closest friends, you may want to rethink your opinion. Character Summary: Sapphire is a smoky grey-colored young mare with a mane and tail that closely resembles a waterfall. Her eyes are a deep-set color of blue and she tends to walk around with her saddle-bags on and hood up. She has a cutie mark of a yin-yang symbol, which represents her neutrality on almost any matter, though she will fight back if provoked. As of now, she isn't very open with how she feels or what she wants. She is often described as independent, but she does have friends. She has difficulty making new friends, which is simply due to the fact that she isn't very trusting of others because of her past with her ex-coltfriend. After a fight with another filly, she left Ponyville and began traveling Equestria because there would be no point in staying where she doesn't feel like she belongs.
  16. Roleplay Type: Canterlot Chronicles Name: Silverheart Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Unicorn Eye Colour: Bright green Coat: Bright Grey Mane/Tail: White and slightly curly with silver streaks. Both mane and tail about medium length Physique: Slender and on the short side. Can easily be mistaken for a mare. Residence: Born in Trottingham but after joining the Royal guard he is wherever they need him to be. Occupation: Lieutenant in the Royal Equestrian Army Cutie mark: A shield with a glowing gavel on top Ever since foalhood he seemed to have a strong desire to keep things orderly. At year one he began to stack and line up number and alphabet blocks and would make an incredible fuss anytime they got knocked over. Even as a colt he could never keep calm unless something was clean or neatly arranged in his classroom to the point he would interrupt his teacher to tell her she left the chalk on her desk and not on the chalkboard tray. His commitment to keeping things orderly was truly put to it's test when two new students arrived and would constantly make a mess of things in the classroom as well as make a lot of ponies feel bad. This was getting truly annoying for Silverheart because while he may have grated on other classmates he befriended with his quirk for order, one of the things he believed was supposed to be part of order was happiness. One day on a school sponsored scavenger hunt he was assigned to work with these two delinquents to find the designated objects on the list. They had shown up unkempt and were constantly playing pranks on other participants and eventually on him. The first "prank" was him getting splashed with water, the next was leading him into a deep pit of mud. As he sat their looking at how messy he'd become he realized he just couldn't deal with them anymore. He pulled himself out of the mud and went off on the two, giving them a long-winded and anger ridden speech that left them... speechless and wide eyed, then ... they were sorry. They had said they didn't know their pranks and horseplay was making other ponies miserable. Silverheart felt sorry for them and decided he would teach them how to better conduct themselves around other ponies... or at least understand when that sort of thing was acceptable. As they walked and talked all the way back to the teacher the two pointed out that Silverheart had his cutiemark. Unique Traits: Being part of a long line of talented magic using unicorns, Silver is incredibly magically inclined and is able to learn new spells very quickly and bears a great deal of magical power. His talent for thinking up strategies allows him a bit of creativity when applying them as well. Having been a exemplary student at the school for talented unicorns he is well versed in many different spells. While he is not very strong physically he makes up for it in terms of magical potency and a knack for thinking on his hooves, he is however physically fit as one would expect of a member of the REA and is decently versed in hoof to hoof combat as well as defending himself with a spear if necessary. A list of spells he can use: Is capable of using teleport to put a sizeable distance between him and his assailant, requires focus and can be used in rapid succession before requiring a short rest before he can use again. Exceptionally skilled user of telekinesis. Is able to lift extremely heavy objects with it but requires great concentration and no interruptions of any kind. Can summon up a barrier that is large enough to shield him and five others. He can divide up the shield to protect his teammates although he has to know exactly where they are in relation to him and they must be within his line of sight. Is capable of concentrating his magic into his horn to fire either several rapid bursts of magical attacks from his horn, or concentrating even longer to fire a large powerful blast that is capable of taking down walls if need be Can use some fire magic but since he considers fire to messy for combat he uses mostly as a utility spell to start campfires or other things Can fire a magical blast that immobilizes his target in his magic aura the maximum amount of assailants that can be frozen is three and even then it requires the blast actually hit and need silver's focus for the effect to remain Character History: Silverheart was born to a mare named Mythic shine and a stallion named Astral Dusk, a pair of rich nobleponies in Trottingham, both of them being rich nobleponies from a long line of talented magic using unicorns. Silverheart was named for his silvery grey coat and his rather tendency to whine whenever he saw somepony or some creature sad. When he went to school he was often confused for a filly to the point even teachers would make that mistake. Silverheart would often have difficulty making friends in school because of his fervent belief in keeping things orderly and that all things should be a certain way. After getting his cutie mark on his school Scavenger hunt and deducing it's meaning he spent a fair amount of time trying to figure a profession that would be the best suited for his talent. One day after seeing a guard in trottingham helping out the citizens and seeing how happy ponies were to receive his help he figured that was the job he should do. Due to his lineage and seemingly having a knack for learning spells quickly he was eventually chosen to attend the School for gifted unicorns in Canterlot. There he excelled at several subjects, with his most problematic subjects were healing magic and illusion spells. Despite his magical aptitude it never really made him happy as he didn't think magical skill alone was fitting for a guard, so when he had free time or was certain he didn't need to study he would often work out and try and make himself more fitting of how he thinks a guard should be. During their time together Silverheart was rather distant to his sister while still remaining close and keeping a watchful eye on her. Any problems they had were typically dealt with by her brother's potent magic even when Presteza was usually the one who dragged them into trouble. SIlverheart never really took the time to watch his sister paint, in his mind this was just a tedious chore he had to deal with and the sooner he got it over with the sooner he could apply to the guard. One night on a trip to the peaks of the northern mountains that bordered where the (now not so)mythical crystal kingdom he had one of the more sobering nights of his life. The biting cold of a blizzard had left both the sibling's tensions high which culminated in a fight. It didn't take him a less than a second to realize his mistake but he wasn't fast enough to apologize before sister shouted that if he felt that way he should just go home and leave her alone before she galloped into the storm all alone. Silverheart bolted after her but the snow covered her hoof-prints faster than he could track her down. The stallion could just kick himself, he really messed up, he had insulted his sister in a way he knew would get under her skin and he still had said it like it was an undeniable fact to a filly who had thought she found something that could make other ponies happy. After several hours that seemed like an eternity the stallion was just about ready to give up hope and have to wait until the storm ended but he needed shelter first. Lucky for him he found a cave that could keep him safe until the storm ended; he could only hope his sister had done the same. Once he came in from the cold he saw what could be the most relieving sight in his life. He saw his little sister crying and shivering. The stallion manage to calm his sister down a bit and explain that it was him and he was looking for her all night. He was about to apologize again when he was cut off by his little sister throwing herself against him and sobbing, saying how happy she was to see him. The night in the mountains had given silverheart a kind of revelation. While she spent most of his life believing that things had to be a certain way and any deviation from convention could be disatrous he realized that... sometimes an unsuspected change could be quite a good experience The day had finally come, his sister had grown up and now was strong enough to take care of herself... although he worried about her naivety. She was still pretty new to things outside of the Trottingham nobility. The siblings had decided to part ways at Dodge Junction's train station. The two have each other a farewell hug and Silverheart got on the train. As he took his seat he felt sad he didn't have anything he could give her to remember him by. As his eyes drifted to his favorite blue scarf he remember the night in the mountains and realized, it looked pretty good on her and quickly wrote down a note. Galloping to the caboose as the train's whistle blew he levitated the scarf over to his still waving sister's neck and wrapped it around her. He could tell she wanted to give it back but the train was already leaving and he felt his note explained enough. Upon getting back home he made his way to the closest barracks and applied. soon enough he was excepted although his looks once again came back to haunt him as he was mistaken for a mare multiple times during the application process. During the training process Silverheart performed admirably although his weak build caused quite a few problems, but his use of magic seemed to more than make up for it. After joining the guard he learned it was not nearly as exciting as he thought, so he tended to jump at the chance to help anypony who needed it. Since first joining he has come to accept that the job of a guard is to protect Equestria and help it's citizens and is considerably more laid back when it comes to his job. Every month he sends a letter back to his family in Trottingham, often asking how his sister is doing on the road... and worrying himself to death if the letter arrives later than usual. Character Summary: While Silverheart may appear rather annoying due to his insistence on cleanliness, he is actually very sweet and quite kind. due to his sheltered lifestyle he is still very naive about the lifestyle of common ponies to the point he could be considered thick headed, which isn't too far off. Silverheart is very prone to spacing out and daydreaming especially when bored. While he is a very magically inclined unicorn he was taught as a colt many times that those who have great gifts should not be prone to brag about them so he rarely mentions his magical aptitude or his time at the school for gifted unicorns to anypony and lets his skill speak for itself when the need arises;such as when somepony needs help or rescuing. While he does have a bit of pride due to his noble lineage, he does not subscribe to the thought that the upperclass is fundamentally better than the normal ponies that allow them to even maintain their normally lavish lifestyle. He understands that the commonponies are just as important to Equestria as the princesses are and is determined to treat them kindly but not tolerate those who misbehave. On his time off duty Silverheart often find himself either reading, knitting or sewing, the books series he often reads often include a lot of adventure stories such as a Daring do. When off duty he is often seen wearing a bright blue scarf that he made himself. Often his interactions with other ponies can be quite pleasant as long as they don't appear dirty or unkempt. His obsession with order often shows itself at it's worst when he sees a messy room or when a letter arrives late or if he misses an appointment to the point he will become borderline depressed and viewing himself as a failure, luckily he can be easily snapped out of it and will work very hard to fix any situation within his abilities. What does not help other ponies confusion between Silverheart's gender would be his very androgynous but leaning toward feminine sounding voice. Since he kept finding his mane would grow back very fast after cutting it he eventually relented and just let it grow out. While he still is occasionally bored by the lack of action in the guard he still believes Equestria needs to remain vigilant, especially with the attack on Canterlot during the royal wedding. His dream as of lately is to raise through the ranks of the R.E.A. and command his own mares and stallion's one day and bring as much order to the world as he can. When on duty he has to wear a smaller than average set of of armor that was designed for mares and often prefers to wear his scarf instead of his standard issue helmet. His time In the REA has earned him a small reputation among others members as being overly tidy and somewhat stoic, but genuinely kind and loyal to his friends. His interactions with his fellow member's of the REA who outrank him is often respectful but he is not afraid to point out if he thinks a plan is flawed. While his voice may still be very feminine he is more than capable of making himself sound intimidating if need be. In combat he is shone to be an extremely talented and powerful magic user, his voice and overall attitude can be described as almost an entirely different pony as he acts much colder and calculating and speaks in a calm monotone accompanied by a cold gaze.
  17. RP Type: Canterlot Chronicles (CC) Name: Flamewing Gender: Female Age: Mare Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Red Character colour: Black with orange muzzle Mane/Tail/Other: White (like derpy) Physique: A bit more skinny than average mare. Residence: Canterlot Occupation: N/A Cutie Mark: A wing with a flame color. She got this cutie mark when she was a filly. In her home town there was a little set of games for the children. It was just a bunch of races and obstacle courses. No pony expected her to come to take part in the games. She was a very shy pony back then. She hadn't plan to join the games but she gave it a shot. When she got there everyone stared at here as if she was some sort of alien. The games begun and she didn't win any of them. The last race of the games was about to start. She thought of quieting but she quickly changed her mind. The last race was the fastest pony wins. She was ready. The whistle blew and she had took off. At first she was behind, then she kept telling herself you can do this. Eventually, she picked up speed and starting passing all the other ponies. When the race finished she collapsed on the floor. Everyone was staring at her. She looked behind her to see if she crossed the finish line. She had won! After this her parents came over to her and pointed at her flank. She got her cutie mark. Unique Traits: Has a white bow in her hair. She normally wears it, not all the time. It was a bow her friend Starheart made for her. She also has 2 signature moves. One called the loop dive. She came up with this trick when flying downwards, sort of falling. Thats when she discovered her new move. Its when you make 2 loops in the air then dive downwards like in the name. It took her quite sometime to master this trick. For a long time, she would crash or go out of position. causing her to fall. When she finally mastered it she would still practice it like she didn't know how to do the trick, so she could practice and be more thorough. Her second signature move is called the Daredevil. Its a series of loops, dives and turns. When she first tries this she ran into clouds, buildings, and many more objects. The objective was to spell out her name in the sky. She could only to a O at the moment. Slowly, she got better and was able to spell FL. Then, FLAME, then FLAMEWING. Now, it has become one of her signature moves because of her name is in the sky when she does this trick. She can do many moves, not that complicated ones, but if you give her a trick to master, she won't stop until she does. History: Flamewing was born in Canterlot. Her mother and father were both wonderbolts. When she was a filly, she would watch her parents do amazing tricks in the air. She thought that she wanted to do this when she grew up. This was her dream and she lived up to it. She would always be racing her friends and she would always win but not all the time. When she was a filly, she was home-schooled most of the time. She didn't really have a lot of friends back then except for her friend Starheart which she still has to this very day. She wanted to be a wonderbolt but she was to young. She started getting interested in racing. She is not the best flyer but she still trains and works hard everyday to improve her flying skills as much as possible. When she was little, Flamewing thought you could be either smart or athletic. She wanted to be athletic. So, she focused all her time and effort to be athletic. Her grades started going down. Her parents got mad at her because they said grades are more important than being athletic is. You could get a job being a racer her parents said, but being a smart pony is very important also. This is when Flamewing realized that you could be both smart and very athletic. You don't have to choose between the two! When she started to mature she was always into the Wonderbolts. She wanted to become one so badly. She had posters all over her room of the Wonderbolts. Her biggest surprise was when she got to go see the Wonderbolts preform on her birthday (it was a coincidence.) Flamewing had a great time! Also, she was called flame when she was little because of her mane. When she was little her mane used to be red and orange. This is why they called the flame. Later on they added wing to it because of her talent for flying and her cutie mark. Her hair has changed from red and orange to white like derpy's. A little after that, when she was about a teen, she went into the everfree forest running after a ball. She hadn't noticed that she had gone in but she was all caught up with playing catch she went in. At first, she was super scared. She had never gone in the forest before. Even mares didn't go in the everfree forest! There were manticores. She went in just a little further until she heard a strange noise. It scared her so she ran back to her friend. Her friend (Icicle) asked her what happened. She said that the ball was in the everfree forest and she wasn't supposed to go inside it. Icicle said okay and they went back to get a cookie or something. Character Summary: Overall, Flamewing is just a super fun pony to be with. She loves hanging out with her friends. She is very hyper and fast. She is very kind and caring. She basicly never misses a party or anything that her friends host. She loves having fun but not as much as pinkie pie does. Her best friends are two ponies named Starheart and Icicle. She had moved from Cloudsdale to Canterlot about halfway through her life. Right now she lives in Canterlot with both her friends. Flamewing doesn't really have a house she shares with Starheart, Sometimes she goes to the hill to watch the stars at night. She finds the stars magnificent. Although Flamewing is more of a 'athletic' pony she is very intelligent and into fashion. For example, the bow in her hair was made by Starheart. She wears it all the time. Its sort of her lucky charm. On the other side, Icicle lives up in Cloudsdale studying. Icicle is the smart pony like twilight. Always knows the answer to every question. Of course she studies a lot but Starwing learned all he knowledge from school and Icicle! Flamewing has the tendency to steal sweets when people aren't looking. She just loves the taste of sweets. When she was little she would always go to a cake shop and her mom would get cake. It was her favorite. Now, she goes to sugarcube corner to get most of her cake and other sweets! Her personality is a mix of everything except bossy. She can be a little bit pushy sometimes but she doesn't like to be the leader. Unlike many athletic ponies, she was very kind and polite. She cared for every pony and animal. She is kind, caring, passionate, courageous, brave, funny and very polite. She loves nature like Fluttershy, but doesn't want to work with animals as her job/occupation. In her dreams, she dreams of being a wonderbolt. Flying high up in the air for lots of people to see. Although she is just a teeny bit stage frightened, she overall loves to preform for other people. Not for the joy of being a wonderbolt (partly that) but for the pleasure of other ponies watching her. In the end, Flamewing is a all around great friend and a great pony to have around. She always tries to fair to every pony no matter what. Some of her flaws is that she wants most things done her way. She doesn't push anyone about it but she just has a way of doing it. Sometimes she gets it her way, sometimes not. It depends on what she wanted her way. She also isn't patient at all. She hates waiting for ponies. If there is a long line to get something she wants, she just leaves. She finds it annoying when ponies take forever to do something or buy something. Thats why when she goes out to eat, she goes to the least popular place so she doesn't have to wait in line for anypony.
  18. Name: Aria "Aurelia" Elixir Gender: Female Age: Mare Species: Changeling Eye color: Lavender Character color:Dark grey Mane and tail: Light shade of Violet and long. Always appears wet even when dry and has relatively few holes. Physique: On the thin side but not gangly. Has a less weathered look compared to other changelings, such as having less holes in the legs and her wings looking shiny and pristine. has slightly longer than average horn. Residence: None in particular but was raised in Dodge Junction. Occupation: Traveling Singer Unique traits: *Typical changeling shape-shifting and illusion magic but can be dropped if she is sufficiently stressed or scared default disguise: "Aria" the daughter of two doctors in Dodge Junction. Has a long flowing and neatly kept red mane and white coat ,Bright and lively green eyes with freckles under them. *Has a lovely almost hypnotic singing voice to the point she made her cutie mark in her pony form a stylized treble clef with a heart in the lower loop. *Due to being raised by doctors she has some knowledge of healing and medical magic taught to her by her mother who was a unicorn. also knows about simple curative and herbal remedies taught to her by her father. History: Aurelia was born in the changeling hive years before the invasion of Equestria. Her caretaker, not approving of the current queens rule escaped the hive and ran to Equestria in the hopes of finding a better life for the both of them. Agents of the hive eventually tracked the caretaker down but not before he hid Aurelia in a cocoon in the Painted Pinto desert, bordering Roughrider Ridge. Eventually she was found by a pair of Traveling doctor Ponies named Elixir Cross and Golden Remedy and their foal named Mythic Salve. Their curiosity piqued they opened up the cocoon whereupon a filly sized changeling popped out, although seeing as these Equestrians hadn't seen a changeling before they were perplexed as to what she was. The couple were doctors, so they couldn't just leave a helpless creature like this on her own in the wilderness so they took her back to their home in Dodge Junction hidden in the various supplies in their chuck-wagon. Upon getting home the pair decided to name her after what they found her in, a chrysalis... although for some reason that sounded unoriginal to them so they settled on the name Aurelia which was a synonym for chrysalis. The little grey changeling was crying at first for a long time until it opened it's eyes and saw the ponies who found her. The young changeling spent a most of her time around the foal which was a bit worrying to the Foal's parents but the pair seemed to get along very nicely. It was Downright terrifying when one day the parents left them alone for a moment and suddenly they had twins! This was rather quickly resolved as they found their original daughter responded to her real name and the other one responded to the name they gave their discovery and daughter. While they couldn't go around telling everypony the origin of their other daughters name so the named her after hearing her sing along to one of their records, the name Aria seemed perfect. As a filly Aria was often very confused, when she was positive nopony was looking she would drop her spell and look at what she truly was. She'd discovered her true form during a haunted house event at her school on Nightmare Night winding up terrified and dropping the spell out of fear... luckily for her her schoolmates just thought it was some sort of magically applied costume that she cooked up for the event as a jump-scare,, this trait has stayed with her until marehood. A lot of her private time was spent in front of her mirror in wondering why she was like this, she was growing fangs, a horn, and even insect style wings with protective chitinous shell that shielded them when hidden, however she was able to hide them easily with her Illusion. She found it very fortunate she was a good singer and it turned out so was her sister to the point she gained a clef as a cutie mark which Aria wound up mimicking as well. During the events of the Canterlot wedding her family was there on vacation, Aria declined thinking it was best she stayed home and took the opportunity with her parents absence to go on a hunt for clues on her history. Looking in the local library didn't help much and any information she gathered was vague at best and even though she was angry at herself for doing so she went through her parents stuff. Not long after the event she welcomed her family back but they seemed somewhat distant for awhile. Eventually they opened up and told her about the events of the changeling invasion in great detail. She was at first hopeful when they told her they saw... creatures like her but her hopefulness faded when they described the rest. After a long sulk the changeling mare formed a theory that she was living proof of her theory, her kind didn't need to forcefully drain love from other creatures to survive she had to have been doing it passively her entire life. The mare told her family her theory and said she had to share it with any changelings she could find! Aria Character Summary: Aurelia or "Aria Elixir" in her pony form is usually cheerful and eager to meet ponies while she will admit she may have be subconsciously hunting for affections she does indeed try and befriend ponies for the sake of friendship. When she does establish a bond with another pony she is willing to with tooth and hoof to keep and protect this bond. While she is a strong as any normal changeling she prefers to try and negotiate her way out of a situation. Having grown up around her parent's medical books she knows a few good ways to incapacitate a creature her own size in self-defense if it comes down to it however as she is not exceptionally strong it isn't recommended. Her major faults would include some impatience as well as being a bit too nosy in things that don't concern her. Personality wise Aria is calm and cool headed with a bit of a mischievous streak, usually using illusion magic to mess with the heads of some ponies, particularly the ones who get on her nerves. While she has indeed been mimicking her sister's appearance all her life she has never really had to completely pretend to be her seeing as ponies throughout her life have referred to her as her own identity. While she does often try to think calmly and not overreact to a situation she does have a short temper when annoyed. The most sure fire way to get her upset would be to say she's a "Fake". Ever since leaving home however she has noticed she does feel a strange hard to define hunger rising up inside her when she isn't traveling with somepony who takes even the smallest liking to her. Oddly enough while she loves music and can sing beautifully she has is terrifyingly inept when attempting to play any instrument to the point that in music class in dodge junction classmates and teachers would beg her to stop playing. When not singing or searching for fellow changelings she is often seen looking for ingredients for curatives and attempting to befriend animals she either meets on the road or comes across... which usually ends very badly for her, typically getting bitten or scratched and even then it is extremely rare for even tame pets to openly like her. Despite being a changeling Aria is at heart an equestrian who loves her perceived homeland as much any pegasus, unicorn, or earth pony. Having passively absorbed love she has found has formed a theory that all changelings are capable of doing so and wishes to reform as many of them as she can. However since the invasion attempt made by the changelings and their queen she has been very careful in her search for other changelings so as to not reveal herself as one. If possible she hopes to show the changelings a peaceful co-existence with Equestria is possible and even better than all out conquest. While she understands her kind will not likely be forgiven anytime soon she encourages them to make friends and find ponies they believe that they can trust and only to reveal themselves if they are completely sure that this pony will not turn them into the guard. Seeing as she has a truly beautiful singing voice she originally made a career as a duo act with her sister, Myth. Her tastes in music cut a wide swath through many genres but she has seems to have a preference for some country oriented music due to her upbringing in dodge junction but loves many different types. While she sees herself as a happy mare she seems to have an affinity to sad almost mournful sounding love songs and ballads and always seems to get swept up in the feelings of her song as well as those of her audience and winds up crying. Seeing as she doesn't like appearing sad or making other ponies sad she typically sticks to energetic upbeat music and singing so she can spread happiness and love she can absorb. Back in Dodge Junction she was usually an energetic lounge singer who gained a fair bit of admiration from those who attended her and her sisters shows. Aria and myth would usually write their music together and were inseparable even as mares until Aria went off on her journey. While her future is uncertain Aria one day hopes to become a famous singer and a role model for other changelings, for her failure or being found out is not an option as Equestria is the only home she has ever known and is worried she wouldn't be able to survive anywhere else if anypony learned her secret.
