Motivation:

To become the next ruler of Equestria!! But as a fail safe, she is considering about going into theater with her twin brother, Dusk Nightfall.

She enjoys the light of day and warmth of the sun. Frolicking through the Canterlot Gardens every so often. She reads more than most fillies, having read many plays and poems by various bards.. She  also loves just about anything sweet and sugary.

She doesn't like the night much, she finds it has a chill and unsettling air to it, but it's still welcoming. She's not a fan of rude ponies that don't have any concern for anypony but themself.

Character Summary:

History –

Foal-hood:

Dawn Sunrise, born in Canterlot, has always felt she had had a special connection with the sun. Ever since she can remember, she felt the need that the sun was important in her life.  Even more important than just providing light and warmth. She hopes to grow up to be a mare that will one day watch over Equestria and raise the sun, but seeing how low the possibility of that is, she had partially taken up theater. She has become quite knowledgable in the art of pyrotechnics/fire and the art of theater, but still being a little filly she could always learn more, and has plenty of time. Besides, she needed to study for her entrance exam for Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. For the following few weeks, Dawn spent her time doing nothing but studying and practicing. Being only a filly, her magic was very limited though, and she didn't know what she would have to do to get into the school. The day of the exam was arriving quickly and the filly only had so much time to study.

The day before the exam, Dawn had stayed up all night studying, forgetting the entrance exam was the next morning. Dawn's parents got her ready while she half slept, barely conscious and unaware of what was going on. The next thing she knows, she finds herself being escorted to a room which contained her father and a few judges, the judges there, of course, to evaluate her performance.

A cart was wheeled into the room, with a block of ice slightly larger than Dawn and within the center of the ice block was a small sun emblem. The filly took careful note of the diagram on the side of cart which instructed  her to retrieve the emblem from the ice, with any type of spell relating to the fire element. Lucky for the filly, she had a broad knowledge of fire spells, but most of which she couldn't use due to her lack of energy. Her mind searched for spell while the judges began to start writing things down. She thought it would be best just up heat up the emblem, it's just a simple heating spell, she should be able to pull it off. Focusing on the emblem and heating it up, her horn lit up. The temperature of the entire room rose, the ice began melting quickly. Not much time had passed before the ice melted and evaporated, leaving the emblem isolated on the cart. Dawn had failed to notice, she was too focused and had her eyes shut. The temperature continued to rise until she fainted from exhaustion. Lucky for her though, she passed with flying colors and was told she has much potential. Also she was able to keep the sun emblem and she wears it as a necklace, rarely taking it off, even to this day. She mostly studies her magic nowadays, having mastered many spells relating to fire and she is beginning to learn basic levitation and teleportation. She's also learning about how magic works, like how unicorn magic is used.

Parents – Dawn's unicorn mother, Shiver, works at one of the many restaurants in Canterlot, while Dawn's earth pony father, Cinnamon Swirl, currently works within small but successful bakery. Both of Dawn's parents are more than proud with her, amazed by her magical abilities.

Flaws –

Though Dawn may come off great, she herself has some slight flaws. She tends to lock herself up away from other ponies while she studies, limiting the amount of friends she has. Even when she does play with her friends she can get side tracked and start to over think the smallest of things, unless of course she's having to much fun to even think.

Personality -

Dawn is your typical, happy go lucky filly. Always having tons of energy and seems to be ready and excited for anything. She loves making new friends and is very friendly, even towards ponies that may seem a little  inconsiderate towards her or other ponies. She is very loyal and will stick by her friends like glue. Oh, and she is also a leader, trying to lead others when ever she gets a chance.

So, not bad at all for a first app. Not bad at all.

As motivation you mention "becoming the next princess". The process of becoming a princess is something that we don't know anything about, and if it's supposed to be a joke, it shouldn't really be under motivations. Plus, it's not really clear what you mean by that. Do you mean being the next ruler of Equestria?

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Did I not say "To become the next Princess of Equestria"? Well I'm sorry if I didnt and I'm getting ready to fix it.

I get what you saying though(or at least I hope I do). But Dawn herself is just a little filly, and dreams of one day taking Celestia's spot on the throne when she grows older. She enjoys being a leader (think I may have left that out on accident and I'm about to fix it) and she feels she could be able to lead Equestria through many years of peace and prosperity.

As unlikely as this is though, this is also the reason she is studying various things relating to theater. As a contingency plan.

Hey there. Sorry for the delay.

So, after some input from other RP Helpers, we came to the conclusion that you can't have a mention of Shakespeare in the app. You will have to replace it with something else, either a more pony sounding name, or just say "famous writer".

Other then that, great looking app.
