This ghoulish haunted house is slick in a nearly audible atmosphere of malice, every edge of it designed to scare you away from venturing inside. If you can get past the macabre outside, you'll wish you hadn't- ponies dressed as monsters leap out at you, rooms designed as 'traps', and the sound of timberwolves closing in all around you. They say that Cerberus guards the Gates of Tartarus alone, but the moment you step into Iron Will's haunted house, you'll swear you've seen Tartarus in the flesh!

Candy +1, Vampire Costume

Greenshot had received a piece of candy from the Minotaur who seemed, nice, in a intimidating way. With just two places left to visit before the night was complete, Greenshot made his way out of Celestia's Mirror Maze and quickly decided to trot towards the Haunted House by Tartarus. Greenshot's horn began to grow a bit as he made his hat vanish, letting his light green and yellow mane flow more naturally. Just wearing his cloak and fake vamp teeth, Greenshot walked inside the very spooky entrance which was well designed and headed on inside, just behind another unicorn, like himself, that was purple with an ice blue tail and mane.

The events of Nightmare Night were winding down for Guiding Light. The colt had been to three places and received both scares and sweets. Now he faced the Gates of Tartus Haunted House, one that he heard was the scariest of all the houses. With a deep breath he made his way inside the house behind two other unicorns. The place was very creepy with sounds of laughter and screams combined with the howl of timberwolves in the distance. Everywhere he went he was afraid that somepony was going to jump out and scare him. This was after all a haunted house. At least he could see in this place even without his light magic, unlike the Changeling's Lair attraction.

Scout stumbled away from the horrors of The Changeling Lair, right into the Gates of Tartarus. Well, she wasn't going to be much better off in a haunted house than a haunted cave, but she wanted to get away from the dank and dark cave. She enjoyed the night life of Fillydelphia, staying out after dark as often as she liked. The dark night city didn't compare to the scariness of the Nightmare Night festivity.

But the haunted house wasn't much different. Well, most of the creatures within were those of myth, Scout soon realized. They were fakes, nothing to be afraid of. The Changeling attack had been real. She did her best to not be scared at anything that jumped out at her, instead examining what a thing was before deciding whether or not she would be scared of it. She even managed to pick up a few pieces of candy that various ponies had dropped along the way, immediately eating them, of course. She had already run into Nightmare Moon twice tonight. She didn't want to lose anymore candy, and the best way to do that was to consume it right away.

The appearance of the bizarre, mixed up creature with the dragon like body, Ardent Fate was left at a bit of a loss. She found herself with two candies, more than what her beloved sun princess had awarded her at the start, and yet somehow it didn't feel right. Fate's youth and naïvety told her that she shouldn't worry about it, but something in her compelled her to not stop there. That creature was not one who could be trusted. A true knight did not rely on trickery for her gains! She would press onward and acquire her candy by honest means.

Of course, she wasn't going to forfeit the candy the creature had left her with either. Nope. It was hers now. This delicious candy would stay with her and guide her forward to shining victory. Fate wasn't entirely sure that made sense, but she didn't care. What it all translated to for her, was staying in this Haunted House she had been exploring since the event's start even longer. She no longer had much fear. The minotaurs scolding stuck in the back of her mind, as did the encouragement of Celestia. After so long in this place she had adapted to its illusions and could now effectively see through them. She was confident that very soon she would conquer this dark place entirely.

With that in her mind, pushing her on, the young filly rushed past several frights on her path to glory

The colt at first thought that the figure approaching was a monster. Yet as it approached closer, he realized it was none other than Princess Luna! The colt bowed out of respect, happy to meet her again. He was rewarded with two pieces of candy and a sense of confidence that he had endured the haunted house.
