The foals of the town frequently leave candy offerings, and there is already a significant pile gathered. There is a rumor that, should anypony dare to take a piece from the foot of the statue, it will come to life, and consume the offending pony. More often than not, however, one of the locals will just jump out and scare whoever was trying to sneak a piece. But every since Princess Luna's return, someponies could swear there were more mysterious workings surrounding the monument.Engraved in the front of the statue:You dare to seek out Nightmare Moon? Ah'm back fer one last visit to th' monment before th' night is over fer us foals."[/colour]Regretfully, he dug into the store of unsorted sweets from visiting the homes of Ponyville and dumped a good portion in front of the statue.He was not going to dip into the sweets given by the Princesses if he could help it.In fact, just to make sure he still had those, he pulled out that bag and peeked [colour=#daa520]"4 candy? Whereas Discord had been both favorable and unfavorable the first two times, Teddy now found himself with half as much candy as before. With a sigh, he headed off to the next attraction, which brought him to Nightmare Moon's Monument again. Even though the statue was honoring the mare in the moon, he had run into Princess Celestia herself, rather than Luna.Well, he supposed that a second visit warranted another candy donation, right? Well, better to be safe than sorry. He made his offering and then stood around, looking for any babes that might be scared of the large shadow cast by the statue. But it seemed like the festivities were winding down for the night, and everypony was going home.
