Zecora stood in the center of Ponyville Town Hall where the meeting was to take place, the crew would meet up and get to know the others that were in their group and then they'd head to port a town or two over and set sail! She had spent months preparing this, sending letters to those that had applied

The Letter was as followed (And didn't rhyme)

"Thank you for your interest in our adventure! Please meet the group in the town of Ponyville in the Town Hall at (-insert date here-) To meet your fellow crewmates! Pack enough to last you the entire trip, it will be several months, but do not fear for there is plenty of precautions taken to make sure that this trip is safe and enjoyable"

With All Sincerity, Zecora"

The notes had been sent, there was nothing to do but wait, the hut had been locked down, Bright Eyes perched on Zecora's mane and nuzzled into her Mohawk, anxious to go on an adventure that would change everything! The air was alight with the adrenaline and excitement for the journey that lay before them all.

"I hope on the way they do not stray, I could not stand for this trip to delay" She muttered to Bright Eyes.

The fox just let out a content yawn and closed his eyes waiting for the others to arrive.

The flight had been long an arduous for Lyn. The dragon wasn't a particularly strong flier because of the hole in his wing, but he had the stamina of a hundred oxen, as long as the flight didn't require loop-de-loops the young dragon could handle it. Still though, a non-stop flight from Talonopolis to Ponyville was out of the question, requiring the trip to be taken in steps. Finally after three days of flight he finally passed over the peaks of the mountains overlooking the town of Ponyville.

"A quaint little town wouldn't you agree Inanna?" He said to his pet falcon.

The bird of prey responded with an excited caw as she kept pace with her owner.

Lyn didn't need to look at the letter to know what he was looking for, he remembered perfectly. Town Hall, he was looking for a building that seemed important it was probably at the center of town. Circling the city a few times he and Inanna spotted a large structure smack dab where he guessed it would be and apparently there was already a pony there.

As they descended Lyn got a better look at the pony, rather the Zebra that was already there. He started to piece together the purpose of the trip, even though he could just ask the mare when he landed he preferred to try and make a game of it. He came in for a landing and touched down jogging as not to ruin any of the grass or well maintained roads in Ponyville. The equipment in his knapsack jingled from the force of the landed. He held his arm out, giving Inanna the all clear to land on him.

He patted himself off and adjusted his bag. Cautiously, he approached the zebra that stood in front of the town hall. He could tell that the ponies in this town weren't use to seeing a creature his size by the stares he was receiving. Why wouldn't they stare? He was a dragon in a pony village.

He could also imagine that he didn't look very nice what with jet black scales, the spear-like tail, and the scares. His height nearly matched that of a diamond dog, so he resorted to walking on all fours, perhaps he looked just a little larger than a griffon the denizens of the town would relax.

"Um...Excuse me, are you Ze-cor-ra," he asked the zebra. His reading wasn't quite the best, so he sounded it out as best as he could. "I'm here for the trip."

The trip from Canterlot to Ponyville was quick and uneventful. Pocket Change had only ridden the oddly named 'Friendship Express" once before and was still pretty amused by the heavily themed passenger cars. They perfectly resembled what he though would be the insides of a toy train that would be found around an Hearth's Warming Eve tree. Then again, Ponyville would be the cute little toy town the toy train would ride around. While a relatively new village compared to most cities or towns he visited, it struck him as very old fashioned. It was a farming town, but for some reason Ponyville was probably one of the more exciting towns to live in. The unicorn knew Princess Celestia's Champion's, the bearer's of the Elements Of Harmony lived there, so excitement was probably going on at least once a week for them. Not like in Canterlot, as once he returned from his epic adventure in the north, things had been rather slow for him. Thankfully he received his letter from a Miss Zecora and gleefully replied back. He had never seen or met this mare before, but his cousin in Ponyville had mentioned her before. She was an well respected zebra-hermit who lived near the horrifying Everfree Forest. He pondered what trip would last several months, and then he went over a map. It would take several months in theory to go from Ponyville to the great zebra countries. Maybe she was on exile and was permitted back home, or maybe she was getting old and wanted to return to her land of birth before she passed on. Whatever her reasons were, he was bound to find adventure and excitement. He made sure to write to his cousin, Ginger Heart and her family ahead of time to make sure they got enough supplies for him and his trip, which he also sent money for.

Once in Ponyville, he met his cousins who helped push his cart of supplies towards the town hall, where he saw a rather young looking zebra, a few animals and what appeared to be a small dragon at her side. Could this be beautiful creature be the same Zecora that had written him the letter? Or maybe it was her granddaughter. And who was this dragon? Did the zebra own a dragon as a pet like another famous Ponyville resident? He was not a child like the other dragon, but maybe a teenager or young adult. His knowledge on dragons was next to nil. With very few exceptions he knew dragons were treasure crazed beasts, but he seemed calm. The two appeared to be talking. He waited. Once they were finished and his wagon was secure, the unicorn cantered closer to the two.

"Er. Miss Zecora?", he held up his letter, "I'm Pocket Change from the university in Canterlot. We had written.", He was surprised he was the first pony to find his way to her and he also hoped this zebra was Zecora. If not, she would show him the way. "I'm here for the trip."

Emerath

Emerath had received the letter, requesting his presence for an expedition. Normally just a timekeeper and director's son and assistant, he hadn't really expected another adventure quite this soon! Excitedly, he penned a response to the zebra, and the two exchanged letters over the course of a few days, until Emerath had come to understand his role in the crew. As helmspony and quartermaster of the Polar Star, he had gained quite a bit of experience manning a ship, and it appeared that he would do much the same on this upcoming voyage.

Excitedly he went and told his parents... who refused. His mother was worried enough on his previous expedition of her son never returning, and his father was tired of not having his son around to do most of the prop work and rehearsals. Not to mention, Emerath would be needed for upcoming social Canterlot events as one of the lead planners! His life simply didn't allow for all these adventures to be taken at a whim! Emerath would spend the rest of the evening arguing with his parents about how he's a grown stallion and can live his own life as he chooses, and his parents don't need to baby him anymore, etc etc etc. It wouldn't work, of course. His parents still refused to give their blessing on such a trip.

So, in his study that night above the theater, his burning desire to relive his adventures upon the Polar Star anew in a new land would not be extinguished! He packed up his books, his plays, and his writing utensils, as well as a few travelling clothes, and would escape into the night, wrapped in a cloak. The late night Canterlot residents would recognize him otherwise, of course, and he had no intention of them alerting his parents before he could make it to Ponyville and get on the ship!

And so he went, taking the Friendship Express to Ponyville overnight, and arriving the morning of the day Zecora had mentioned in her last letter to him. Slowly making his way through town, still wearing his cloak, he made his way to the town square. It wasn't all that hard to figure out where that was, considering there was a rather inconspicuous dragon right in the middle of the town. Then he saw Zecora and then his eyes continued to see an old friend, chatting with the zebra. Pocket Change! Pocket Change would be going on the trip?! This was going to be an even better adventure than he had imagined!

Upon seeing his friend, Emerath bounded over to the group as fast as he could with all the weight of his saddlebags slowing him down and skidded next to a halt next to Pocket Change. "H-hey!" he said, a bit nervous, as he threw back his head and the cloak hood fell upon his back, showing his face to the rest of the group. "Pocket Change! So good to see you!" he said, overjoyed, as he slid his bags onto the ground and gave the fellow unicorn a quick hug, before turning to Zecora and giving a light bow, "Hello there, Zecora! So very nice to see you again!"

Misty was so excited! As soon as she'd seen the advertisement for the expedition, she went about trying to find somepony that could write a letter for her. Being a Peryton, she was never taught how to write, and could only read the little bit that she had taught herself. Of course, most ponies were happy to oblige her requests, and eventually she was able to get a letter stamped and mailed.

Of course, that also meant she had to spend a few extra days in Canterlot, awaiting a reply. But the trip would be lengthy, certainly extending over a large area of land. Even if Snow wasn't in Unyasi, and she didn't find her along the way, it would be a fantastic story to tell when she met her. And perhaps someday, she could take her sister for a visit too.

Misty was both giddy and nervous. She tried to use the trip to Ponyville to calm her nerves, but it seemed to do little to help. She had never been outside of Equestria before, much less traveled such a distance. And what if nopony liked her? What if they thought she was weird because she was a Peryton? Oh, but she couldn't very well back out now, could she? Misty whimpered, feeling quite small in comparison to the big wide world.

She of course had to ask for directions once she'd made it into Ponyville, which of course made her uncomfortable that she couldn't even find her way. When she finally found her way to the group, she tried to pick out which one was 'Zecora'. There was a blue pony, and two gray ponies, one with dark stripes. There was also a large... black... Dragon...

Maybe that was just some other group of friends, out for an afternoon get together. Misty glanced around for a different group of ponies that was surely the one she was looking for. But maybe one of these ponies—or the Dragon—knew where this Zecora could be found.

So, putting on as brave of a face as she could muster, she approached the group. “Uhh, excuse me? Does anyone know where I could find Zecora?” she wanted to shrink back into nothingness, what with all the eyes that were on her at this moment. She wasn't the most social of creatures, being raised in the forest, but she'd survived the hustle and bustle other cities and towns before. This shouldn't be any different.

Huscarl placed the final book into his sack and released a quaint smile. Traveling was definitely a hassle for the teenage dragon, but a chance to travel to Unyasi? He would be a fool not to take up the opportunity, Just imagining the ancient scrolls that he could recover brought happiness to his heart. More to read, especially Zebra history, was to be a real treat to the inquisitive dragon.

Being somewhat well versed in traveling, he always considered traveling alone, though never had the motivation to make the journey. In a group? maybe things could be different, despite being a horrible conversationalist, especially when it came to ponies. Ponyville was always underneath Huscarl's radar, He knew little about the town itself, other than the fact that it had a direct train line connected with Canterlot. Regardless, He wasn't going to complain about the meeting point, it was the journey, after all, what was his main goal.

Tightening the bow on his sack and flinging it around his shoulder(what was filled with MANY books and spare gems), the large red scaled dragon left his home high up in the mountains to begin his journey to Ponyvile.

The flight was uneventful, Huscarl was more than capable at using his wings, long journeys would prove to be too much for him though, as he looked down below to Ponyvile. The charming town definitely was a nice sight to behold, with beautifully coloured houses being the most prominent as he closed in for a landing in the center of the town.

"Town hall.... Town Hall...." The dragon repeated to himself as he looked around to the stares of many ponies. The dragon was definitely not lacking in intelligence, common sense however, was an entirely different story. Approaching the Town Hall, the dragon repeated "Zecora.... Zecora..." to himself as he saw a large gathering of ponies.... and a DRAGON?!

What on Equestria was a dragon doing here?! Huscarl stopped dead in his tracks, this was the first dragon he had seen in many, many years. Was he part of the group? Was he friendly? What was his business here otherwise? A thousand questions raced through his head, though he quickly composed himself, and approached the group, assuming that they were the group, I mean really, what else could it be? Huscarl thought to himself, A parade?

"Zecora?" he asked curiously, though bluntly to the group, still bewildered by the appearance of another dragon.

Trekker, the camo coloured pony, was traveling between locations when a letter appeared, apparently coming from her parents. However it was from a zebra, known as Zecora. She was using her parents as an intermediary while corresponding with Zecora because she was almost always on the move. Trekker had applied to be a part of her party to go on an adventure to the zebra homeland Unyasi. She had never been there and figured it would be a great opportunity. She had never traveled with a party before though, and wasn't sure how it would work out. She usually just traveled with her pet fox Chrome. "Let's head to the nearest town Chrome, so we can prepare"

She quickly stopped by the nearest town of Appleoosa and loaded up some provisions after trading some gems she had found on her travel for bits. She didn't load too much, as she always preferred to forage with the help of Chrome. After traveling for so long, she learned not to over pack and keep her load light. However, Zecora suggested some previsions would be preferable. She took the train from the small, rather friendly, town to Ponyville. She made a note in her head to travel back to Appleoosa, as it would be a nice place to visit when she had the chance. The train ride was uneventful, and she arrived in Ponyville without a hitch. She levitated the letter out of her saddlebag and noticed that the location of the meeting was the town hall. She quickly broke into a gallop with Chrome following towards the town center. The town hall was pretty obvious, as she went in along with Chrome.

Upon entering she noticed several ponies...and "Dragons?!" she thought to herself. "I'll be traveling with dragons?!" Trekker was rather excited, she had always wanted to learn more about dragons. This should prove to be an interesting adventure, Trekker was pleased to have applied and been accepted. "Hopefully we'll be able to talk to them on the journey Chrome, would be great if I could tell my father I traveled and learned about actual dragons... from DRAGONS, even if they are only teenagers." she whispered to Chrome. She looked around a bit more and spotted the lone zebra.

She walked up to the zebra and gave a polite bow, "Zecora, I presume?" she spoke politely "My name is Trekker, thank you so much for accepting me into your party. Hopefully my abilities and experience will prove useful to you. I apologize in advance if I go off on my own or do something separately from the group, I'm not used to traveling with so many." Chrome jumped out from behind her and gave a yelp while she jumped over to a fox that was next to Zecora. The silver fox started sniffing the fox by Zecora. "Behave yourself Chrome!" she was worried Chrome would try to play rough with Zecora's fox. "Hopefully our foxes can get along." She said with a smile.

Trekker walked over to the rest of the group, rather nervously. She had experience with ponies, but was unsure of how the dragons would react to her, and she always went into new meetings with new creatures with caution. "Hello, my name is Trekker. I'm an traveler of sorts. Hope we can all get along." She looked away from the dragons, wanting to engage them, she waited to see their reactions before doing so.

Sierra smiled slightly as the familiar sight of Ponyville entered her vision. She knew this town. Everfree was one of her specialties, so it only made sense that she would be familiar with the major waypoints along its edge. It was a friendly enough little town from what they dragoness has observed. It was certainly not a location Sierra minded stopping off at, even if it was quite some distance from her home in Beakbreak. Her wings were getting tired from the long flight, she she imagined that the trip there would be well worth it in the end.

She was here in this little pony town to join a crew bound for Unyasi. Being a career explorer, Sierra was always on the look out for jobs like this. Sierra had an unbeatable sense of direction and the survival knowledge and skills that made her just the dragon you wanted at your side when venturing off to explore the less charted wilds. Unyasi wasn't a place she knew very well. She had studied some rudimentary maps of it and did some reading, but it wasn't like Everfree or the Badlands where it was all in her head. That's perhaps why this trip had her so excited. It would be new to her, and if she covered her ground well, she'd accrue valuable job experience.

The dragoness was actually pretty excited by the time she touched down on ground just in front of Ponyville Town Hall. A group was already gathered who she could only assume were the others in her crew. Almost immediately, she was stunned by what she saw. It was sort of unbelievable; not one, but two dragons were already standing there. Finding others of her kind in these parts was almost unheard of, and yet there two of them were. She studied them closely. Both were sky dragons and both were roughly her age, in their teens. Like her, they were not exceptionally large either. One was mostly black while the other was mostly red. The black one looked kind of cocky and reckless while the red had a more quiet and reserved expression. Sierra didn't know how to feel about seeing them there; most of the other teen dragons she had met had kinda been jerks, especially the male ones.

Around them were a collection of ponies-- or, well, three ponies a zebra and a peryton. She pried her eyes from the dragons to study the rest for a moment. The peryton was white and looked rather young; Sierra didn't know much about their kind, but she could only figure there was more to her than the innocent appearance would lead one to believe. The ponies seemed a diverse bunch from appearance, though each of them was a unicorn. The first was a light amber gray in colour and looked like the charming sort of stallion, the second a blue coated stallion who looked to be a quieter sort, while the third pony was the sole mare of the bunch and a distinctive camo green coat. Something about the last told Sierra they would probably relate.

Her eyes went last to the gray zebra mare. This was rather obviously going to be Zecora, the one who had issued the call for the job and sent a letter back to give this location. There was a certain wisdom in her eyes, yet she didn't seem over stiff. Looking at her there, the dragoness doubted this would be an unpleasant mare to work for. She gave a shrewd smile as she approached her first.

"Miss Zecora, a pleasure to finally meet you face to face," she said with an understated nod to the zebra. "It's Sierra. I'm the one who replied from Beakbreak. I look forward to our voyage."

She looked toward the others and gave another nod. "I'm an explorer, particularly skilled in navigation and survival in harsh terrains. I'm not generally accustomed to working in such large groups as this, but all the same I hope that we may get along," she said stiffly with a somewhat awkward smile.

Falco Kestrelson normally had very little business being in Ponyville. Nestled in the heart of Equestria, the idyllic town was of barely any interest to a rough-and-tumble griffon like Falco. Not only that, but everything round those parts seemed rather... artificial to the part-time adventurer. At least, everything other than the Everfree Forest that was.

On this day however, Mr. Kestrelson had a very exciting reason to fly over to the quaint settlement. Some time ago, word reached his attention that some character named Zecora was seeking out members to accompany her on a trip to the southern land of Unyasi. Ever seeking to conquer all known environments of a foreboding nature, Falco had by now accumulated a good range of hostile locales as part of his survivalist experience. Yet up until now, the pawn shop owner had not the means to make the journey by himself across the sea over to the legendary savannah realm of the zebra-folk.

Well now Falco would be getting one of his fondest wishes. As he struggled to remain airborne thanks to all the supplies and gear he brought with him, the middle-aged griffon spotted what appeared to be the town hall and all the people assembling down there. From his aerial vantage point, it appeared that he’d have plenty of interesting companions for this long-term expedition of Zecora’s. Aside from a few ponies, there appeared to be a zebra (very likely the ringleader, Falco deemed), one of those near-mythical perytons of all creatures, and three dragons. In fact, Mr. Kestrelson recognized one pinkish-red dragon almost immediately.

“SIERRA!” the griffon happily cried out as he touched down by Beakbreak’s resident dragoness, giving Sierra a playful punch with his claw; “I didn’t know you got roped into this party too, hahaha! So; you’re ready to take on all the beasts that Unyasi has to offer? Heh heh, I know I am!” Falco previously met the dragoness a while back when she ventured into Gems & Trinkets looking for a crystalline snack. True to his pawn shop’s name, the griffon had in fact a tasty morsel of a gem for her, thus sparking the formation of a bond of mutual respect that day between the two.

Now turning his attention to the zebra, the ex-soldier took an opportunity to introduce himself. “Ms. Zecora, I presume?” the griffon inquired, taking off his orange hat as a gesture of politeness; “Falco Kestrelson at your service. Sierra and I both come from Beakbreak City." Recalling that Zecora didn't really specify her reason for needing so many people to travel with her, the griffon proceeded to interrogate her; "Well now, I take it there’s a reason you’ve got all of us fine people here today?”

steven%20magnet%20copy.png

For a sea serpent such as Steven, the uncountable empty hours of swimming through freezing and filthily murky waters, even when the current was running starkly opposite to his direction, seemed of little issue for a well-travelled reptilian such as he. No, the real issue for a fashioniste such as Steven Magnet was deciding what to pack!

Unfortunately, hydrodynamics weren't very forgiving when it comes to wagonfuls of baggage - one containing sufficient necessities for the prescribed amount of time at sea on the letter, and the rest twenty-nine totally individual outfits -, so the night before today was long dead by the time Steven had come to an equivocal decision to pack *gasp* only three outfits! Oh, mixing and matching wouldn't help remove the stain of blah that would certainly befall it! With a hypothetical tear, Steven neatly packed the puny clothes (only the finest clawmade, of course) into also-custom saddlebags, which were not only designed to ebe big enough to securely befit his tail and protect the items inside from the raging waters, but to perfectly compliment his moustache. That was quite an accomplishment in his opinion!

The sea serpent was late, no doubt about it. It was odd, though, because Steven oft travelled this route, if not a longer one, but it would never take him this long to swim there. Surely the saddlebags had nothing to do with it... But anyways, Steven had taken off as soon as he had received the letter. And boy, was it hard to get mail when you're a sea serpent living in the middle of the Manebrush. Hey, maybe that's why he was late, only getting the letter by a very dishevelled-looking mailstallion (what was so scary about a manicured sea serpent!?)? No matter the purpose, Steven had at least gotten the letter.

The serpent could really only read exceptionally rudimentary sentences, owing to his distinct lack of equine education, but Steven certainly recognized the last word:

Zecora.

Ohhh, how that zebra had helped her! Mr. Magnet was more than eager to set off post-haste to help her back. Apparently, they were doing something in "Ooh-knee-yah-see", and Steven was sure it would be fabulously fun!

As the Everfree forest slowly crept into view, the scribbled note left at the bottom of the well-printed page - something about drinking a bottle at the edge of the river - crawled into the front of Steven's mind just for a moment.

Within minutes, Zecora's humble hut was in sight, and the serpent put his very tired tail into an exhausting full-throttle beeline for it, shamefully acknowledging his tardiness once more. In the afternoon sun, many of the strange instruments within the zebra's abode shone smartly - along with a little something on the riverbank, just as foretold; but with Steven panting and wheezing as he was after the journey, terra firma seemed to snickeringly shunt itself backwards as he slowly advanced, but finally his chin fainted upon grass, and Steven took a final breath. His journey was over! Zecora's signature stripes caught his attention through the window. Thing is, how was he to get inside...?

Whilst thinking on that, wandering claws subconsciously but gingerly grabbed a vial of some colourful, translucent fluid in a simple glass jar. Steven's mind was much too tired to consider the tackiness of the stuff's hue in the sunlight, so down the hatch it went. What would it do?

Just then, Steven's underside felt... odd to say the least. In the most dramatic way possible, Steven rolled over onto the shore, hoping to relieve any pressure befalling it. Ooh, it hurt so much it looked like it was bulging in a couple places - or was it? Oh no, oh no, this is bad, this is bad! What did Zecora do to him? Was it his guts, preparing to burst into a meaty firework of pain? Or were they...

Legs! Landworthy, walkable legs! How wonderful! With the pain gone, and the legs fully grown, Steven was fully inclined to give them their first test. With a mighty heave, Steven was on his feet. He noted that ponies often had to practice and put lots of effort into achieving their first steps, but somehow these new appendages felt natural. Sure, the first few shambles were rigid and odd, but by picturing ponies in his mind, he soon got into the groove. He'd be sure to thank Zecora for them - now he could talk with ponies all he liked! But, Steven noted, they would likely be temporary , seeing how he would need to swim.

"Yoo-hoo, Zecora! It's Steven!"

Qua-nabanner-1.jpg

Qua-na was the last to arrive and was rather surprised to see such a massive and diverse group there already! She just waved a slight greeting to the crowded zebra to let her know that she was here as well, her saddlebags properly packed for the trip, since she would be aiding Zecora with medicine and other such things on the trip! "My what a hodge-podge of ponies, dragons, and gryphons!" She exclaimed, snickering slightly and moved to flick her bangs out of her face for a moment...This was going to be quite the adventure, though she really didn't recognize anyone in the whole sea of people whatsoever!

Zecorafbanner.jpg

Zecora was pleased to see so many had come! "Welcome friends! I am so glad to see that you are here! It makes my heart glad to have you all so near!" She was grinning ear to ear, they were going to all see the rich wonderful land that she hailed from, her and Qua-na both really..it would be such a learning experience...

"Um...Excuse me, are you Ze-cor-ra,?"

A dragon asked, Zecora glanced at him and nodded "Yes yes, it is me My a dragon, an interesting sight to see!" She chuckled, he seemed like he would be good for the group, extra hands were always welcome! Especially since most of them DID have hooves..

"Er. Miss Zecora?", he held up his letter, "I'm Pocket Change from the university in Canterlot. We had written.",

Said a pony, one Zecora had written to before! "Why Pocket Change! It is so good that we are no longer estranged! It will be a pleasure I am sure, what fun encounters we will all endure! " She grinned, he was a pretty cute stallion that was for sure, not quite her type but hey!

"And you must be the lovely Zecora! So very nice to meet you in person."

The Unicorn received a light smile and a nod, but she didn't interrupt since Pocket Change and Emerath seemed to be good friends and wanted to catch up! That was very good! Close bonds would get everyone to work together and keep them safe to boot, nothing made you safer than sticking with a friend and a crew that was united was very VERY hard to top that was for sure.

“Uhh, excuse me? Does anyone know where I could find Zecora?

"Have no fear my dear, for Zecora is right here" She quipped at the Peryton! She honestly had never seen one before but they were absolutely beautiful creatures! With those soft wings and glossy coat Zecora wanted to learn more about them, she just gave the poor dear a smile since she could feel she felt out of sorts in this sea of faces! But thankfully this group was so diverse that she was sure they were all a very tolerant and thoughtful group.

"Zecora?" he asked curiously, though bluntly to the group, still bewildered by the appearance of another dragon.

Zecora nodded and smiled "Yes my dear, I am Zecora, I am standing right here.." She was surprised it was so hard to pick her out, since she had been there first after all!

Zecora returned the polite gesture, the two silver foxes sniffing each other curiously, Bright Eyes yipped playfully and wanted to play with the little fox right away! It had been so long since he had seen another silver fox! Oh how he was going to enjoy having a playmate on this trip! Zecora smiled softly "Oh there is no need to fret, the kits seem to be well met" She said "I am sure I will not be sorry, for having Miss Trekker in my Party" She replied giving the pony a soft wink, she was glad to have so many diverse talents that was for sure.

"Miss Zecora, a pleasure to finally meet you face to face," she said with an understated nod to the zebra. "It's Sierra. I'm the one who replied from Beakbreak. I look forward to our voyage."

She glanced at the two that arrived from BreakBeak and nodded "Yes I am looking foreward to sailing with you, another dragon on the crew will make sure adventure will ensue" She nodded glancing at Falco "My reason will be clear, once Everyone in the group is near" She explained, not wanting to go into detail and risk someone in the group missing out on it and making her have to repeat herself!

"Yoo-hoo, Zecora! It's Steven!"

And with that the last of the party arrived!"Steven my friend! I am so glad to see you! Do tell me those land legs suit you!" She had been hoping the brew would work and it DID! He would be able to join them on land and if all went according to plan? the SEA!

"The reason I have brought you here, is a reason to my heart most dear, Unyasi is my home, from it's shores, to loong I have roamed, I want to take you all there to see it's splendid and delicate beauty! To bring back bits and pieces here,to treasure! To spark curiosity beyond measure!" She raised a hoof in the air "This trip will be to learn this is all we wish to do, and ofcourse if we find some treasure along the way well" She giggled "That is fine too"

Lyn

"An interesting sight you say." He mused over the thought for a moment. Before remembering that most pony towns weren't on the fringe like like some griffon settlements so dragons were probably rare in Equestria. "That's quite the speech pattern you have there, I may not be the best reader, but the art of of rhyme is still beautiful to me." He was about to flash the zebra a grin, but then he remembered that his maw was full of razor sharp gem crushing teeth and flashing them probably wasn't the best idea. "The name's Lyn."

As they introduced themselves the other members of the little trip started to show up. First a unicorn. He introduced himself as Pocket Change. Heh, pony names never cease to amuse. Waiting until their introductions were over, he walked up to the pony and extended a claw in friendship. "Hello Pocket Change, my names Lyn. Nice to meet you." Before now he never really noticed how he towered over the ponies, but after talking to Zecora and turning to Pocket, he felt a bit to large. He decided to lower himself to all fours when addressing the ponies.

His falcon friend chose that particular moment to come and land on his shoulder. She gave the dragon an extremely flat look before making an annoyed squawk. "Urgh, you're the one who didn't want to sit still for a moment. Anyway, this is my friend and scout Inanna." she said as he presented the orange-breasted falcon.

Another unicorn came up to the group. Apparently he knew Pocket Change to some degree by the way he bounded over to the group and hugged the other stallion. "Oh, well that was touching." Hugging wasn't something he saw much between male griffons and seeing two guys hugging brought a chuckle up from his throat.

"By the broodmother, I've never seen a creature of your sort!" He said as he stared at the approaching Peryton. They were pretty much non existent where he came from and he'd seen or heard of them. "Oh, I am so sorry... "

The day was starting to get interesting because another dragon joined the party. He let him and Zecora have their introduction before looking The new dragon up and down. It was a bad habit that was born into him from his upbringing, it never really came into play since he didn't spend much time around other dragons. After sizing the newcomer up he simply nodded at him.

The next member of their party appeared. A mare with a silver fox as a pet. As the mare introduced herself to Zecora another fox leapt out of the zebra's mane. "Wait.. What?" He said as the two foxes started to play with each other. She apologized about going off, but that didn't matter much to him. "Eh, don't worry about it. I've got eyes above, as long as me and my Falcon can see ya it's all good."

Another dragon appear. and three makes a crowd. he said jokingly in his mind. This one was a female though. For a split second he was forced to put his face in his palms. He'd worked hard over the past year to put his draconic tendencies behind him. He hadn't been in society long, but he had adapted well. But just like that with the appearance of one other male and a female everything he had worked hard to suppress threatened to collapse in on itself. Nothing had even happened, yet he already felt the pangs of competition tugging at the back of his mind. NO! Bad Lyn! You are civil. He took a deep breath and listened to the dragoness introduce herself. "Ah, seem as like are skills will complement each other nicely than. My names Lyn. I'm a explorer, survivalist, and artifact procurer. Nice to have you with us."

"My word, a sea serpent. Now that's not something you see every phase." He commented.

This was all a bit too much for the young stallion. While he had imagined the usual motely crew of ponies and other odds and ends that normally made up the usual adventuring parties he had been with in the past, he was completely floored by the rather unique makeup of the group. Not only were there the usual ponies and griffons, there were actual, very alive dragons in this group. Not just one dragon, or even two, but three dragons here, in the little town. He started to worry if the Ponyville residents might take worry or offensive to such an intrusion. Thankfully the three seemed to be rather intelligent and friendly, not like the dragons that he had read about in the past. Generally they were seen as nearly beastly creatures barely capable of speech and only had one thing on their mind, which was the constant need to horde riches, but here he was staring at three impressive, but rather small dragons. It might have been his mind playing with him, but the pinkish-red one had a rather feminine look to her, far more so than the other two, and her voice nailed it. He also noticed the rather poor condition the young black scaled one was in. Pocket knew every old wound that marked the rather young creature probably had a story behind it, and the hole in his wing made the pony cringe. He wondered why he was unable to have the wound fixed as he knew the medical care in Equestria was second to none. He also took note of the red dragon and realized there probably would be very little that could get in their way with such an impressive show of strength this group had made up.

He also noted that the one griffon in their group was already familiar with the female dragon and was very comfortable in her presence. Considering how many dragons out there, he could never figure out why ponies knew so little about them, and here he was with three. He had so many questions to ask, and probably around ninety-five of it was not very appropriate, but he was still very curious. He wondered if they were true reptiles? How long were they capable of living? What were their families made up? Traditional like griffons and ponies? Did they marry? How he wished he studied more into the non-magical sciences in college.

Beyond the dragons, he noticed what he was very sure was an Peryton, a species he had only seen in old books and the rather impressive murals the northern griffons had kept in their fortress. He was rather sure they were extinct, but here she was, rather pretty and very small. Was she a child? What would such a young creature be doing with a gang of adventurers? He noted the ponies and griffons with a friendly smile, those were the usual creatures he generally associated with, however one pony did catch his eye. His old companion Emerath. He took the unicorn's hug with stride, "It's great to see you! It's a shame Ember Spark or the others are not here.". He had seen neither hide nor hair of the former crew-mates since the last voyage of the Polar Star, and had hoped to see the adorable little mare once again. While an earth pony, she showed an impressive amount of near-unicorn intelligence and creativity during their travels and had saved his hide more than a few times during the course of their adventures together.

"Interesting little crew we have this time? Have you ever seen so many different types of people coming together? This Zecora must be one very important pony..er zebra to gain such a following.", he muttered under his breath hoping he was not blushing after the rather beautiful creature had addressed him as she went through the small group of her future crew members. "Surprised there aren't any Diamond Dogs among us. They tend to be a little wild, but the females are generally mild tempered and rather attractive for very large canines...Oh wow."

He finally noticed the sea-serpent, but this rather fanciful creature was anywhere but the sea, but on land, with feet and all. "I didn't know sea serpents could walk on land, or had hair and er, facial hair..How bizarre.", he kept his voice low as he spoke with old friend as not to insult the rather impressive creature. He fiddled around with his saddle bag before realizing, "Ah pony-feathers. I forgot. The R.E.A still has my camera and all of its film. Might be too late to purchase a new camera.", he glanced around the town square, "Wonder where the residents are? You'd think such an odd grouping would alert the local populace. Was sort of hoping to run into Rainbow Dash. Saw her in a pub over in Canterlot. Beautiful creature and rather feisty. Or even Twilight Sparkle. Used to run into during her Canterlot days when she was attending the university up there. I'm actually in a guild with an old friend of hers. You should probably join one of these days."

Her inquiry as to which creature was their leader was soon answered, as more of the crew began to arrive. Quite a large group, in fact, and such variety. If Misty thought that she felt small around ponies, well, she was miniscule when compared to Dragons.

The first to arrive after her was a yellow Dragon, and not far behind came a green pony. It wasn't until a pink Dragon appeared that she finally found out who the host was. Misty had done her best to stay on the outskirts of the group, both to stay out of everyone's way, and because she wasn't the most fond of large groups as a whole.

Then Zecora introduced herself to the Peryton. “It's a pleasure to meet you.” Misty said meekly, struggling to be heard over all the others. Some seemed to be old friends, and were getting reacquainted, while others seemed to be meeting for the very first time, but still hitting it off very well. She still hung back, grateful to know who Zecora was, and thankful that she at least knew one person here, even if not very well.

Suddenly, a scaly body brushed against her, causing Misty to jump back with an “EEP!”, her wings flaring in surprise. She shuffled back nervously, straightening her feathers before clamping her wings back at her sides. They were a bit delicate, and she wanted to keep them intact, if possible.

(OOC: Anyone who wants can be the Dragon that just bumped into her.)

Huscarl was too mesmerized with the amazingly mixed variety of species that had made an appearance to notice that he had accidently brushed against Misty. As he stopped gazing around from dragon to sea serpent when broken out of his concentration at the notice of an 'EEP!'

Huscarl promptly dropped his sack, and quickly changed into a apologetic state. "Oh dear! I'm so sorry little pon...." He quickly stopped himself from finishing the sentence, as he noticed that he didn't actually brush against a pony, but rather, a Peryton. "A Peryton!?" He immediately realized "I've never seen one of you before.... I've read about your kind in books but I never thought...." Huscarl stopped himself again, and quickly looks downward towards the floor in shame. The dragon was clearly embarrassed, especially with the entire group today, as it is the most social contact that he has had with anything at all in a long, long time. He lifted his scaly head and smiled at Misty awkwardly to try to make the situation more comfortable. "Quite the.... fellowship we have here..... eh?" He quickly tried to change the subject, trying to mend the awkwardness of the situation.

Being a stranger himself to almost all of the group, he was suffering a similar feeling that Misty had. That feeling of being somewhat alone, and only knowing Zecora, albeit not very well at all.... In fact, he was going to introduce himself to Zecora, though the shy, intellectual dragon would definitely be against the idea of having any animosity or awkwardness with anypony in the group before even setting off on a journey for Unyasi, as he waited for a reply from Misty.

"Yes I am looking foreward to sailing with you, another dragon on the crew will make sure adventure will ensue"

Zecora replied in rhyme. How whimsical. Did all zebras do that? Sierra hadn't really met many zebras before. She wasn't sure how common it was. It was definitely interesting though. Zecora made a point of her not being the only dragon, which made her nod. it truly was alarming. To make matters stranger, another intriguing character soon appeared on the scene, this one a sea serpent. Sierra didn't know much about these creatures. As far as she was concerned they were just strange, long dragons that lived in the water. This one seemed kinda... odd somehow, but she supposed having such an able and powerful swimmer along would make the sea voyage smoother.

"Yes. Looking forward to it, Zecora," she said resolutely.

“SIERRA! I didn’t know you got roped into this party too, hahaha! So; you’re ready to take on all the beasts that Unyasi has to offer? Heh heh, I know I am!”

Sierra was taken aback to suddenly hear her name and receive a playful hit from an all too familiar face. It was Falco Kestrelson, another resident of Beakbreak city and someone she considered a friend. He ran a local pawn shop that she had, since discovering it, been frequenting to get gems to eat. She hadn't expected to find any familiar faces and yet here one was. Working in a group was staring to look better all the time. She smiled back at Falco, waiting for him to finish speaking to Zecora before opening her mouth.

"Falco!?" she began, surprised. "You're coming along? That's wonderful. I hadn't expected to find any familiar faces among the crew!" She gave an eager nod.

She gave a small chuckle and a nod. "Well, hearing some of your stories back at the shop, I have kinda been interested in traveling with you. Should be fun!"

She looked out at the others. "Though I do say this trip has attracted an... unusual crew..." she said, as she stared from griffon to zebra to peryton to dragon and to serpent. It wasn't often groups formed in Equestria where the ponies were so outnumbered.

Emerath

Emerath listened to his old friend, Pocket Change, go on about old and new times alike, nodding where necessary, but mostly just looking around at their group and taking in the party around them. Dragons! Griffons! Even a sea serpent! Emerath tried not to think too hard about the fact that the sea serpent was on land. He was sure, knowing Zecora, she had cooked something up special. Emerath was surprised to feel like a minority in this group, but it wasn't much different from how he ended up feeling when surrounded by Griffons during the voyage of the Polar Star. And he was certain in Unyasi he would feel much the same, in the homeland of the zebras. However, he looked forward to seeing the culture most of all. Zecora herself was a very interesting zebra, and he was curious of all zebras were like her or not. If they were, he was sure to have fun indeed!

When it seemed like Pocket Change had given pause in the conversation to allow Emerath to respond, he turned to the fellow unicorn and smiled. "It is indeed a shame that Ember Spark couldn't make it. I miss that inquisitive mare. She made things fun and cheerful all the time. Although I'm genuinely surprised she didn't find interest in such an interesting voyage! Perhaps next time an opportunity like this presents itself, we should contact her too!" Emerath couldn't even attempt to hold back the excitement in his voice. He was just too happy to be here, away from his nagging family and around all these wonderful fellow creatures of Equestria!

Emerath understood what drew people to Zecora and he he was certain that everyone, including himself, also had their own reasons for undertaking this adventure. "She is quite a wonderful zebra. I've only met her once before this, but she has this way about her that is simply... enchanting," Emerath said with a chuckle. "I don't think I've ever seen a Diamond Dog before," he continued, "aren't they the ones that live underground and hoard riches they find in their underground mines? Like dragons but furry." Emerath put a hoof up to his mouth and looked around in case any of the three dragons overheard him speaking. "I mean no offense, of course..."

Emerath hoped he didn't insult anyone, and continued conversing with his friend about the other topics he brought up, although Pocket Change's last comments prompted him to look around as well. "Perhaps everyone is intimidated by the group makeup we have here. I mean, we do have a very... diverse group makeup. Or they're off having adventures! Just like us! I hear something happens in this town quite often involving the lovely mares you mentioned." Emerath chuckled again, "But sure, you should introduce me to the college sometime. I'd love to learn more about magic. Although, convincing my parents to do anything besides lock me up in my study above the theatre upon my return home will be a feat."

“Well Sierra,” Falco Kestrelson started to jokingly explain; “I guess we live in a small world after all.” After chuckling for a couple seconds, the griffon continued conversing; “Haha, you had some very interesting stories of your own, if I remember right; I’d never thought I’d ever experience the pleasure of us working together, hah hah. To be honest though, practically all of my past adventures have been solo affairs with only me and my wits versus the ferocity of Nature in all its forms. Heh, it’ll be real interesting to see how this group works together.”

Finally hearing the zebra group organizer speak up, Mr. Kestrelson sure had a thing or two to say about her manner of speaking; “Well look at you; you’re one of them rhymers! I didn’t think people like you actually existed, ha ha ha! Say, how much effort does it take to come up with your rhymes?” Ignorant of Zecora’s method of combining her native tongue with that of the Common one, Falco just assumed that this Zecora simply liked to talk in verse.

At any rate, Falco followed instructions and scooted closer to the zebra ringleader so he could listen in as to why such a oddball crew had been assembled here today.....

Pathfinder.png

Pathfinder felt no real need to stay within Equestria, no pull that seemed to hobble would be adventures that kept them snug in their beds or content within the border. Now to be sure, Equestria was the greatest land in all of the...land...a fact she would throw some hooves up to defend if it came down to it, and she had done so once or twice when dealing with those rough-house griffons. A fun bunch, the whole lot of them. And it was also true that Equestria's long reach and stretch of history hosted such a grand number of artifacts, rumors, ruins and creatures that it afforded those with the drive and will a lifetime of good fortune in adventure. Pathfinder loved Equestria and Equestria certainly loved her, but she didn't feel bad about havig a fling with some other lands.

Especially one like Unyasi, the one land she cared to visit that she hadn't yet been to. The Crystal Empire was close behind it like a pegasi race at the highest levels, but it was freakin' cold up there and with so many warm weather options in front of her the vain portion of her brain made a decision. And it also didn't hurt that the meeting was in Ponyville, which wasn't too far from Canterlot, which is where she had been healing after yet another exciting outing in a city's sewer system had yielded, once again, foes with sharp objects. Her wings felt good enough, strong enough, for travel and after she escaped from the hospital rather than pay her entirely too high bill, she knew her next destination.

She came to town without worrying too much about who she was going to work with, how they were going to get there, or even why they were going. All she needed to know was Unyasi was the destination and nothing else needed to be said. One time she had agreed to a mining expedition in some old mountain with the belief it would lead to a rare gem. The whole thing had been a trap, of course, with Diamond Dogs ambushing the 'expedition' about four feet under the ground. The next several weeks had been her laboring and then staging an escape. After that, she had searched for the gem while being chased. Sure, she had eventually helped the others escape, but the true importance of that trip had been her finding that gem. It had quickly been given to her adorably adorable Snowfall after she had managed to avoid a cave-in, and that little adventure had been her definition of an excellent trip.

Ponyville. Town hall. A window was open. Pathfinder, slicing through the sky with more agility than speed, broke through the plane silently and she fluttered to the ground with a bunch of bozos and weirdos- just her types of ponies, griffons, and zebras- around.

"Hey there, sorry for being late! I was on my way from Canterlot but I thought I saw a cloud serpent. It was just aftereffects of medication, so no cloud serpents. Yet!" She ended hopefully, scratching her chin as she trotted up to the group.

Trekker

Trekker noticed that the two foxes seemed to be playing and getting along well. "Hm this might be good for Chrome, he hasn't been around another fox since I rescued him in the Whitetail Woods." Zecora's reply perfectly rhymed, which Trekker thought odd since none of her correspondence in her letters read like that. There was nary a rhyme to be found! Trekker smiled. "Thank you for the warm welcome. However, not to be rude, but... is there a reason you speak in verse? I only ask since your letters were not." Trekker asked inquisitively. She always liked learning about the customs of people, and if this was a feature of all zebra, well that would be an interesting turn of events.

A large sea serpent walked in... "Wait... Sea Serpents don't walk do they?" She quietly thought. Listening to the exchange while Trekker watched to two foxes play, she overheard Zecora talking about a brew. "Wow! You must be an exceptional potions brewer Zecora! I've never heard of any potion that can do such feats!" Trekker exclaimed, she only met a few alchemists in her day and none could do anything like that, she was truly impressed by this. "Well it does seem that we have an interesting...and diverse party... to say the least. I look forward to this adventure with you!"

Trekker's attention was drawn from Zecora by a distinct 'EEP! Which appeared to come from a...a... peryton!? She hadn't seen one since she was rescued in Whitetail Woods when she was just a filly! Was this Peryton from there? Would she know of the Peryton who helped her? Was SHE the one who helped her? She didn't remember them looking alike, but it could just be her memory not being clear. She approached and noticed a rather polite distinct silver teenaged dragon. She still didn't know how to approach dragons, but she felt inclined to, this dragon seemed sensible enough to not attack her though! "Uhm... excuse me mister dragon, sorry to interrupt, but I would like to ask the peryton a question or two about where she came from." She nervously interjected to the dragon. Turning to the peryton. "Excuse me... but... you wouldn't happen to be from the Whitetail woods... would you? I was helped by a peryton when I was just a filly and would very much like to meet them again, but I can't seem to find them. I was hoping you would be able to help me." She politely asked the peryton. She wasn't hoping for much, but maybe... just maybe, this peryton would know something!

It appeared however that she was the odd filly out. There was a dragon and a griffon that seemed to know each other quite well. For some reason she felt like the dragon was well traveled. If she was right, perhaps they could exchange stories! It is always good to get ideas of places from other travelers so as to be better prepared.

Suddenly a pegasus came through the window! Trekker did a double take! Was this pegasus Daring Do?! She walked over to the filly... "Uh... excuse me, but... are you Daring do?" Trekker was excited, even if the filly before her wasn't Daring do, she looked exactly like her! Chances are that she too was an adventurer like her! Not many know that it was the Daring do books that inspired her to see the world, most that knew her as a filly in Canterlot figure that it was the influence of her father.

 • 2 weeks later...

steven%20magnet%20copy.png

After an embarrassing fifteen minutes of screaming "Hello!?" at an empty hut, the sea serpent finally had the stroke of realization that not only could he get up and peer inside, but nopony was home in the first place. And that's not even to mention that Zecora's place wasn't the right place at all! To avoid such incidents in the future, Mr. Magnet promised himself he'd learn to read. At the very least, he was here now.

Despite having his eyes centrally trained on the one familiar zebra in the quickly-growing and ever-conversing travel party, Steven Magnet could practically feel the odd stares he was constantly receiving from the strangers. Sure, they had never met him before, let alone a legged sea-serpent, let alone a sea serpent...

But surely these ponies read the news! "Der Assistent" was rapidly approaching, and the top nine (Steven inclusive) had appeared for enough photoshoots together for him to figure that at least one had hit the Ponyvillian presses. Did these ponies know nothing of fashion? Fashion... Fashion...

Oh no! What if these ponies really did know about fashion, but local taste had put lavender hues out of style? Ooh, these ponies were gonna get it! Don't they know that a pony, and a sea serpent no less, couldn't change the colour of their scales? He needed a classy, yet assertive retort. Something that got his point across with a fashioniste's sass. Ah yes...

*snap* *snap*

*snap* *snap*

"IS IT 'CUZ I'M PURPLE!?"

Err... No, Steven. No. That was not assertive. That was just an overreaction to a non-existent insult, multiplied within itself with your overdramatic body language. Well done, Mr. Magnet. Well done at making everypony stare at you even more.

Blushing as much as a reptilian can, Steven curled himself into a bit of a coil (though keeping his moustache out of his tangly tail) and whispered to Zecora...

Oops...

The Peryton looked nervously at the big red beast before her. She did her best to stand her ground and hold her head high, when what she really wanted was to cower on the ground and cover her eyes. But surprisingly, he apologized. He didn't snap at her, he wasn't gruff, or vicious, or mean. His personality wasn't what Misty had imagined from looking at him. The menacing spines on his tail looked like they could take out a Peryton, or even a pony, in one swoop. Of course Misty was aware that she was among civilized—and thus, not likely to be dangerous—society, but that didn't make her any less apprehensive of everyone present.

“You read about us? Really?” she squeaked. She cleared her throat, not wanting to sound so small as she felt. “What is it you've heard?” she asked skeptically. Perytons were prone to staying in their forests, shying away from most of the modern world, and preferring the wilds to the cities. So if someone had actually met one, and been able to spend time with it enough to have a decent conversation, well, that was something.

“Yeah, it's quite a rabble.” Misty responded to his question. “Where is it you come from?” All these creatures were going to be her traveling companions, whether she liked it or not. So she may as well try to be friendly, and get to know them, seeing as they'd be spending a lot of time together in the near future.

At that moment, a green pony who had broken away from the group approached them. But Misty seemed confused by her question, shuffling her front hooves on the ground before she replied. “I'm... sorry to say, but I don't know.” she paused, still befuddled on how to answer. “Do ponies have names for the wood? Perytons don't really trifle with things like that. The trees are our home, and that's enough. Why bother giving the place a name? It's not like you're liable to see any other talking creature out there. In fact, I've never even seen another Peryton outside of my family.” she herself looked disappointed that she couldn't give a more satisfactory reply. But then something occurred to her. “Oh, but maybe it was one of my parents! I know I'm hardly more than what you would call a filly myself, but they're much older.” she smiled, glad that she could actually be of some service.

"I think I must of seen it in a book of legendary creatures or something..." Huscarl replied, as he inspected the Peryton, still in disbelief that one was in the group with him. "I didn't even believe your species even existed... Such a pleasant surprise!" Huscarl said, beaming with delight, seemingly removing all of his previously reclusive persona. "Had no idea you would be so small though...." Huscarl said, lowering his head down to the Peryton's level, "must be strange to live like this this all the time..." He said, losing concentration, talking to himself rather than talking to anybody present, He definitely was eccentric when becoming lost in the moment.

When the camo looking pony walked over to them, Huscarl looked over to her curiously, until she spoke to him

"Uhm... excuse me mister dragon, sorry to interrupt, but I would like to ask the peryton a question or two about where she came from."

"Oh, that is fine, Go ahead, really!" As Huscarl graciously moved to one side to allow her to talk to the Peryton. With the both of them engaged, Huscarl once again took to admiring the wide array of creatures that had turned up to this expedition. This sure was going to be one heck of a journey, even with his somewhat nervous and reclusive nature, his sense of adventure was convincing him that this would be more than worth it.

The unicorn's ears perked up the moment his old friend mentioned that he had met Zecora in the past, "Really? When things settle down a bit, you'll have to tell me all about it.", he let the stallion continue and quickly followed once he finished. "I've actually run into two of Princess Celestia's Champions so far. Before I traveled with you and the others on the Polar Star, and I also met another not that long ago.", he paused as he glanced past Emerath and shook his head in disbelief before returning his gaze back to the unicorn, "Ran into Rainbow Dash while hanging around an old watering hole in Canterlot. After my little group of shovel bums lost our dig site to a storm and a rather unpleasant gust of bureaucracy. I didn't get to say much to her, but I did buy her and her companions a round of drinks, which she did appreciate. Found her rather charming and surprisingly sweet. Definitely not the braggart and show-off that she's generally refereed to as being.", it was very obvious from the look on his face, that there was something behind Emerath that he was finding so distracting, " S-she was with a small group of Wonderbolts and it was rather enjoyable just being a little fly on the wall and getting to hear their rambunctious chattering. They did save more than a few lives that day and probably shouldn't have paid for any of their drinks. Also met Pinkie Pie during a little trip I had in the woods not that far from where we're standing. She's very unusual to say the least. The whole lot of us were nearly eaten alive by a horde of insects...oh...You've got to be kidding me..", his voice dropped down low. "Sorry Emerath, this is a bit too much. Look behind you.", he whispered, "Mare.", he motioned towards the direction of Pathfinder. "Just glance, don't stare.", the pony tried his best to look inconspicuous, something he was never very good at, "I know there was a Daring Do convention in Equestria, but I didn't know it was in Ponyville. Or maybe she just thinks she's the 'Do'"

He noticed another mare as she approached the possible Daring Do-cosplayer, "Leaping Luna, I know that girl.", he was still whispering and trying very hard not to get whisper-spit all over his friend, "That's Trekker. She saved my flank like ten times during that whole mess in the Whitetail Woods. With the bugs. And the Pinkie Pie.", his attention quickly fell upon the heroic unicorn, "Powerful spellcaster. Not a bad looker either.", he gave off a roguish grin and waved his front right hoof at the unicorn mare. He continued to chat with the stallion,"It's a shame you're still under your parents hooves. I escaped from my folks the second I turned the right age. Sister followed shortly after. Thankfully things have become a good deal better with the family since the whole mess we all faced during the whole 'royal wedding' in Canterlot. Then again, tragedies sometime become bonding experiences. Your folks are just going to have to realize that you're not a foal anymore and you're going to want to find your own place in this world. With or without them.", he added as he followed the others.

OOC: And sorry for taking so long on my post..Was waiting for Quicklime.

Zecora moved a hoof to lightly pet the Sea Serpent on the head to comfort him "Shh it is not you! They would not care even if you were blue" She assured him, letting the others chitchat for a bit, before letting out a shrill whistle! "Alright It is good to see you are all getting along! However We should get going for too long! Pack your bags and say your good byes! For we must sale under the bright blue skies!" She moved to get her own saddlebags on, the bulk of her supplies were already on the ship. "It is a short walk to where we must go, The sooner we get there the better dont'cha know"

With that the Zebra started off for the ship, confident the others would have the insight to follow her.

(Everyone do one wrap up post and then we'll set sail!)
