Cutie Mark Story: As a foal, she dreamed of being a grand stage performer, but time after time when she’d participate in school plays, the unicorn foal would suffer stagefright. Her classmates teased her about this unmercifully until one day, another foal took up for her. The foal’s name was Mighty Magic, son of Professor Merlin Magic. Mighty began encouraging Abracadabra, even offering her a chance to be on stage with him during the next school Talent Show. It was Mighty’s faith in her that inspired her to take the stage with him and help with his magic act. When she walked out on stage with him, the young unicorn was no longer afraid. The reason she lost her fear was she was having a crush on her partner! This helped her perform flawlessly and their magic act won First Prize. When the excited foal instinctively hugged Mighty Magic, her cutie mark appeared. Now she realized that her destiny was tied to both magic and performing as well!

History: Abracadabra was born in Canterlot of very well to do parents who gave her this name in hopes it would mark her for a lifetime mastery of magic. They had high hopes for their only daughter and immediately had her apply to Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t pass the entrance exam which was more a disappointment for her parents than for Abracadabra. The young foal was already in love with her classmate Mighty Magic, especially after he helped her gain confidence and they won a Talent Show first prize together. From that point forward, as time went by, the two became inseparable. Perhaps it was unusual for a filly to grow up to marry her school days ‘very special somepony,’ but that’s exactly what happened with Abracadabra. She and her husband’s magic act was a hit all over Equestria but especially in Canterlot. What made their act special was that it was a combination of true magic and slight-of-hoof illusions that proved to dazzle their audiences. Several years into their marriage, Abracadabra bore a daughter, one the young couple called Misty Magic. Often she would travel with her parents in the summer months during their performancing tours, but many times during the school year, Misty would be left with Mighty’s dad Merlin at other times they were touring. Even now after Misty Magic was fully grown and out on her own, Abracadabra and Mighty Magic are still touring together, but not as much as in the past.

Character Summary: Abracadabra is a kind, loving mother and wife who doesn’t mind doing household chores like cooking and cleaning. She tries to get along with everypony, even those who criticize their magic act or tries to give their daughter a hard time. Abracadabra main weaknesses are the fact she tries to hide her lack of higher end magical skills as well as the moments of stagefright that still haunt her from time to time when she finds herself on stage alone. Still, overall she is strongwilled and totally dedicated to her daughter and her husband’s magic act.
