Midnight was a filly when she got her mark, when she and her family was still living in Cloudsdale. It had been like any other day, with Midnight being frustrated about not getting her mark after winning an agility based race. On her way home, which was on the borders of the city, she was walking past a family of pegasi when a younger one, a foal tripped over and fell off the edge of the city, falling down towards Equestria. Midnight did the only thing that she could, without thinking, she dived off the edge of the city to see if the foal was ok. The foal tried to play its wings, but they were just too weak to hold its body up, as Midnight tried to go as fast as she could to catch it.

As they dived towards the grass below the city, she managed to grab the foal, only to realize she was going too fast, if she pulled up, she was sure she’d hurt her wings and crash on the ground. That’s when she spotted it, weather clouds. Flaring her wings out, with the wind pushing them up, she tried to glide to it. Despite the pain of it, it worked. She landed on the cloud and made sure the foal was ok, and thankfully it was. It took a mere minute before the family found them, where Midnight noticed her cutie mark had finally appeared.

History:

Midnight Blossom was born in Cloudsdale, and was the only child in her family. Her father was a mail pony for Cloudsdale and her mother helped organise the weather factories shipping manifest. Due to their busy work, when she was a filly, she often got used to looking after herself because her parents would often be home several hours after her when she returned from school. Despite a slight isolation from her parents, her social life was successful, she had friends from school who she saw daily and would spend the weekends mucking around with, leaving her happy as she grew up, she had strong friends she knew she could rely on, and friends that relied on her.

When she came of age, she left her home with Canterlot as her target home. Her family helped pay for her apartment and helped her finically as she started to get herself set in the city. But, she knew what she wanted, the guard. It was what she knew suited her; she wanted to help ponies that couldn’t always help themselves, and where else but the guard?

She got accepted, and after several years, has finished her training and has been allowed into active service, guarding the castle walls and observing the city for crime and the general public’s safety. Every day, she gets the feeling that she is helping the ponies, and that makes her feel like those years of training were worth it.

As for now, she is very happy with her current position, the only things that really occupy her thoughts are her next training session and to keep vigilant. The ponies of Canterlot or wherever she is deployed are looking at the guards for protection, and she had to deliver.

Character Summary:

Midnight Blossom loves flying, as most pegasi do, her smaller wings mean she is slower, but her agility is what she accels in, agility courses and tests are her domain. She tries her best to show all the qualities of a good guard, to follow her orders and do what she is ordered, but often she will act out of the fire in her heart, using that over the logic in her head. She tries to be friendly to strangers, and is very trusting of them.

Her biggest ambitions are to continue serving the Princess’s who she holds in the highest regards, and wants to prove how good she is, as both a guard and pony. Protecting the ponies of the kingdom, and offering comfort when they feel distraught, try to be the image that ponies remember. But, despite all the virtues she tries to display, she often can act and speak without thinking first. A burning passion that can easily cloud her judgement if she starts to get into things or worked up.

Midnight doesn’t like ponies that lie that is one of the top things she dislikes, liars. She see’s them as ponies who which to break the rules of their society, the rule of fairness and pure equality between ponies. Along with that, ponies who talk the talk, without the walk to back themselves up. Arrogence, over confidence, they annoy her because they are boosting about their own achievements, trying to make themselves feel superior to others.

When Midnight is not on duty, she often flies and admires the beauty of the city and its surrounding areas. A particular spot just outside the city, a hill overlooking a lake is her favriote spot to be. It brings her comfort and quiet, a place to be alone with her thoughts, to do as she wishes without society to bother her.

Midnight often will trust a pony shortly after meeting them, unless they are high in confidence or give out an aura that make her feel uncomfortable. She tries her best to be kind and respectful when interacting with any pony, trying to uphold the moral values of the guard. However, this is still susceptible to lose her temper if something is taking too long or boring her. She can often be brash, or too much to the point, and sometimes speaks without thinking, which can lead to very embarrassing situations.

Her actions before thinking have left her in many situations where she feels embarrassed or silly, also, she isn’t very strong with her words, and can easily be fool is somepony uses trick wording. She isn’t physically very strong, and is often missed because she seem small. Often this will cause her more annoyance, because she feels inadequate, her self confidence in her own abilities lack, because she feels like it’s bragging to talk about her achievement. She will try avoid anything she doesn’t believe she can do.

I just need to check up one thing that i had issues with last time involving the bat-winged Lunar Guards. I don't remember what was said, but i wanna relearn what it was before i make her ready

To add to QuickLime's reply, I'd keep her as a regular Pegasus pony as this will be acceptable.
