And for the first time ever the "Pink Lady Orchards" Have produced enough Apples this year for Lady's very first and very own Cider season! The young mare has sent out invitations to all her family members(as well as a few Locals) to her very first celebration/Sale!There will be a barn dance at night, and sweet Pink Lady Apple Cider to buy, drink, and enjoy! Several other delicious treats will be provided!Pink Lady was all a flutter! Her orchard had been so prosperous this year! Her bakery had worked overtime, as she did the work of two all by herself to bake, jam, and juice her way to enough snacks and cider to feed and wet her Kin! With plenty and plenty of jugs of the stuff stowed away to sell!Now that the food prep was out of the way she had painstakingly cleaned the entire barn from top to bottom! Setting out a dance floor, as well as tables and chairs for those who wanted to put up their hooves and rest after swing dancing! Everything was picture perfect and she was more than ready to-AGH! Lady eeped as she caught sight of her reflection in the mirror! She was filthy, sweaty, and her mane was a WRECK! She quickly bolted and took a shower, before styling her mane, applying just a touch of light green eyeshadow, and making sure she herself was spic and span!Once she was as radiant as ever she could only rest her hooves on the windows and wait for her kin to arrive. Bellosh Posted October 18, 2013 Report Share Posted October 18, 2013 The telltale sound of a high-speed dive over Pink Lady’s orchard alerted all in the know to the arrival of Sugar Apple. Cider season being in the air again, the Cloudsdale apple pony more than eagerly accepted the invitation to drop by the Solstice Heights. Fortunately, Sugar didn’t have to go work in the weather factory today, so nothing prevented her from attending. Once she set herself down on the ground right outside of the orchard, Miss Apple waved a foreleg and shouted out in greeting; “Howdy Lady, ah’m hyar!!!” Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
QuickLime Posted October 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 For a moment Lady had been afraid, afraid that her family had decided to not show up at all, she waved back at Sugar Apple and grinned "Sugar! Oh I am so glad to see you darling! Come in! Come in! Let me get you some refreshment after your flight you must be famished!" Sugar asked, smiling at the thought of cider sampling. But first though, she needed to offer Pink Apple her usual gift; "Oh, ah brought ya' a box of mah sugar apples too; on th' house!" Grinning even larger than before, the mare took a box from her saddlebag and proudly opened it up, revealing a whole package of apples coated in pink frosting; "Ah only ate a quarter of th' box on th' way hyar, this time.....!" The prettiest shade of pink this side of Equestria! "Yes it's the Cider but I made an assortment of other viddles to keep you going!" "Ah think ah saw some familiar faces headin' up th' road some ways back," reported the pegasus; "But ah reckon they won't be hyar fo' another thirty minutes. Ya' don't mind showin' off th' viddles now, do ya?" Sugar might as well drop off her box of frosting-coated apples too while she was at it; undoubtedly the other ponies arriving soon would appreciate having the sugar apples around..... She led her family member over to the table, motioning to it with her hoof "Help yourself Sugar! I got lots to go around!" She was so glad she was here! But now, another choice laid before the purple pegasus. Which snack should she try first? Seeking guidance, Sugar asked; "Hey Lady, which thin' ya' think ah should try first?" Gosh, there were so many darn things to choose from! Once Pink Lady helped pick a snack, then Sugar would begin some further chit-chat to pass the time.....
