Dr Whoof

Just thought I'd post the Doctor Whooves character I rp elsewhere here, though to avoid confusioin with the cast characters in WOE and CC I thought I'd rename him as Dr Whoof. This also allows me to do different incarnations of him, from the 1st dr whoof onward. If I understand how FFA works.

Name: Dr Whoof (though if a full name must be given he's not above using a made up name. He usually goes by Doctor or Dr Whoof, or whooves.)

Gender: Stallion

Age: He can look any age from young adult stallion to an elder stallion (He is far older then he looks though)

Species: Usualy an earth pony, but he has been a unicorn before more then once.

Eye colour: light blue (at least for a few regenerations) Some may look different.

Character colour: he has a light brown body with a darker brown main and tail. Though others may look totally different from this.

Mane/Tail/Other: With his lifestyle his mane and tail are not always neat. They can be quite messy at times.

Physique: Average, though he does do running at times. He is not unfit.

Residence:He has a home in Ponyville, also he has an upper class bachelor pad in Canterlot that his 3rd self bought, and left certain codephrases, passwords and such so his future regenerations can use, passing this off as friends or relatives who he is allowing to use his home while he is out and about. He also owns a private train car. Though this is not used to often. It was also purchased by his 3rd self who really liked gadgets and vehicles. He mainly lives in his tardis, though he usually has this hidden somewhere, like in a secret area of his ponyville basement or a secret spot near his Canterlot bacherlor pad.

Occupation: Usually wondering adventerer doogooder. In Ponyville he has often been a time keeper for certain events. In Canterlot he's been an upper class type, investor, ect.

Cutie Mark: His Cutie mark is that of an hour glass.

Unique Traits: Some of his clothes, hat, scarf, vest, saddlebags, have pockets and these pockets can hold more then one would think that they could normally hold. He also knows a wide variety of subjects, having picked up or learned a lot over the centuries he's been alive.

History: f the current regeneration looks like the tv Dr whooves he will visit & live in Ponyville, having a home there, with a basement where he hides his tardis. He leaves a diary here recording local events and special notes so when he spends a long time away he can read up on local events and act like the dr whooves they saw a day or so ago as if he were from a day or so ago, instead of this one being a different regeneration or he was back in his own universe for hundreds of years or longer. He has also spent some time in other cities when he comes to visit, if he looks like the tv dr whooves. If he looks different then he may visit Ponyville, but acts like a visitor, not like the same dr whooves. Since his appearance looks different.

So to some ponies in ponyville Dr whooves may act like different people. Since they are different regenerations, some future ones or past ones visiting at different times. So the dr whooves they see yesterday or last week may be a different regeneration then the one they saw and talked with last week. Maybe not a past regeneration. The one from last week or a few days ago may be a future regeneration then the one they'll encounter tomorrow. Time travel being what it is. He visits other cities at times. & does use the 3rd dr whoove's bachelor pad while in Canterlot, using the private train at times, or the private car, other times he'll travel by normal means, depending on various factors.

His pockets on his saddlebags, smoking jacket, and other things can hold more then one would then given the apparent size of their outward appearance. The tie he wears sometimes, has a small concealed pocket. The scarf he wears has some concealed pockets. Due to a few of his past selves having been unicorns he do some stuff like using his hoof like a hand to hold things like one could with a human hand, though as an earth pony he can't do unicorn type magic. It does mean he can more easily focus his earth pony magic for a few minor things like using the hoof as a hand thing.

Character Personality: Personality: He can be oddly positive at times, and at at times also quirky and unpredictable. He, at times, makes up odd techese, or making up a phrase or 2 to explain away things he doesn't want to explain. He cares about others, dislikes despots and others who prey on others, puts themselves first before and at the cost of anyone. He can act unpredictable at times. He also likes to sometimes wear something from one of his earlier selves, hat, scarf, smoking jacket, ect.

He respects most life, some lifeforms he does not respect and does his best to destroy, like daleks (except for the daleks that had the human factor), cybermen and others. He does his best so he can be underestimated by his foes, making it easier for him to get information. He prefers to outhink his opponents instead of using violence, though he does acknowledge that force and violence is needed at times, and if he gets mad, or sees no alternative. Though even with this he is more open about his companions using violence, where appropriate.

He likes to make new friends, and hates goodbyes. He likes to travel to new places, meet new friends and see new things and experience new experiences, as well as experiencing these through his friends who travel with him. He is also curious and enjoys discovering new things. He does care about others, liking and wanting to help others. visiting old friends and places is something he enjoys as well. He is intelligent, though not good at tests often. He has a broad range of knowledge in many areas. He has to pretend like he doesn't understand unicorn magic, even though a few of his past selves have been unicorns.

Character Summary: The first time he went to Equestria was shortly after he borrowed a tardis and fled from Gallefrey. He kept on the move to try to keep himself from being found. Then he found a way to get to another universe totally, a place where he could not be found. He used his time to repair the tardis as best as he could, and remove the means for his people to be able to track and find him. Unless they knew where he was. Thus he was able to remain in hiding and unfindable by his people till the end of War Games. While in Equestria he worked his way to the upper class, a position where he was in Gallifrey time lord society. Eventually he left Equestria to return to his universe. But not before attending an upper class party or 2 in Canterlot. He was an earth pony. He only partially managed to repair his tardis. The navigation circuits he was unable to repair. The chameleon circuit was still working during his stay in Equestria, not breaking till at a later time when he materialized in 76 Totters Lane.

The 2nd made a brief visit also, not by wanting to but by pure chance. He stayed, helping out with a local problem, drifting to a few spots of Equestrian history, and future times, and left the universe again, again by chance since he had no control over his tardis. Though as usual his appearances are unknown by historians. Jamie found this a bit strange at first, talking ponies, and the other strangeness, not half as strange as the time a dragon invited the doctor and his friends to tea. Then there was the sea serpent who seemed to know the doctor but the doctor said he had not met, not yet anyway. He did comment on he didn't know that ponies could change their appearance as easily as the doctor did, which the dragon commented he thought ponies tended to stick with just 1 look. With which they had a nice fried fish party, atended by the dragon as well. Though they had some more adventures more typical of the doctor usual ones.

The 3rd doctor, who was a unicorn, visited Equestria again. After Jo Grant got married, he shattered, He had to get away for a while. He thought of equestria. He was surprised to find himself a unicorn. He tought himself magic while doing other things. He worked his knowledge of a broad range in a number of subjects into making himself money. He also did some traveling around, like to the dragon and sea serpant friend, among other places.

He used these various investments to get a private train & train car so he could travel where he wanted. He kept it in storage and a certain password or code phrase identifies the person as a "friend or relative' of his who he is allowing to use it. He told the owner of storage area this as well as the crew of the train. The truth is so one of his future selves can use it if they wanted. He also got an upper class bachelor pad in Canterlot. He used certain code phrases and codes so his future selves could use the location to stay in since he knew he would regenerate sooner or later, as well as his various other properties and things he owned.

Most don't tap into this, except now and then. For one it does build up interest over time, for another if there is an alternative why use what is already there, though that is a valid alternative. Though they do use them, some regenerations more then others. Though some things like the private train & train car would not be ready immediately since the crew would have to be gathered and gotten ready as well as getting the train ready. Though some things like the upper class bachelor pad could be used immediately since the 3rd doctor set up things so a maid would come in periodically to clean. Restock certain things and so on. The current Dr Whooves doesn't need to go to Canterlot to use the private train & train car, he can send a message and get one back saying if the train is in use or how long it will be before it can arrive.

4th traveled there for a while, twice. The first time with Sara Jane Smith, 2nd time was with Romana. In both visits he toured around Equestria in using the local trains, boats and such, instead of the 3rd doctor's private locomotive and train car. since this would let him be around ponies.

5th goes to the Grand Gallaping Galla party. He spent most of his time away from canterlot, he used the 3rd dr's upper class bachelor pad while he was staying in canterlot. He spend some of his time in Equestria way from canterlot. He never really used the private train and car, except maybe for a few times.

6- onward. some have visited, some have not. spent time in various cities of equestria. Some regenerations have looked like the current drwhooves, most have looked totally different. Most were earth ponies, but a few were unicorns. To him sadly none have been a pegasus, as of yet.
