During a work he had to do in a class in his last. year in elemeentary school, he had decided to write a book, an idea his parents gave him. The book he decided to make was a fantasy story which took place in a old distant land. He spent all night working on it and once he was done, he realized he had aquired her cutie mark, refecting his writing skills and love for fictional things.

Unique Traits: He can easily come for ideas for new books to write and things to do, as well for new things to create in his free times, yet that skill had made him become a bit... nuts to say the least, yet that is just thanks to the way he is.

 

History: Arcana was born in a small house in the city of Manehatten, in the sub-urban area of the city. He spent most o fhis childhood living in the outskirts of the city itself, almost never going into the city during that time. He went to school and the teacher noticed he had a great intelect, managing to ace almost all tests and works the teacher made her students do, and he seemed to have a great imagination, constantly playing with other colts and fillies in imaginary worlds he created just for fun. He seemed like a really happy pony, but his mind was a complete mess. He was smart and creative, but crazy at the same time. He speaked too fast some times, talked nonsense that no pony his age would understand at all, or even know, and even created a seret lenguage he though only his best and closest friends, which was easy to learn and speak but hard to understand if you didn't knew what was going on.

 

His cleverness helped in school and was able to skip grades. During a work he had to do in a class in his last. year in elemeentary school, he had decided to write a book, an idea his parents gave him. He spent all night working on it and once he was done, he realized he had aquired his cutie mark, refecting his writing skills. He entered Highschool at an early age and graduated with high grades, being one of the bests in his classes, but as his inteligence grew, his crazyness did with him on a smaller scale. He started 'hearing voices' in his head and made imaginary friends even at an older age. This voices, however, started to help him later on to what would be his main hobby.

His paretns, starting to get worried, decided to take their colt to the doctor and see what he could do, yet the result the doctor gave them was that they should let him be. He made a few tests on him, and he managed to pass them all like any 'normal' pony would, and told them that it was not a mental problem, but rather how is personality grew. This was him.

 

He went to college at an early age as well, and after a few years graduated in sciences with honors thanks to his great understanding on everything related to that. Yet that didnt stoped him from writing books, which was his most favourite thing to do of all. Thanks to his new knowledge, he was able to start a new, and his first, series of books, depicting how ponykind would be in the future, with new technologies and something called a 'robot', a mechanical being that can act and look like pony, but made out of steel. It was a science fiction series that soon turned into a second series, then to a third, and into a forth one, even before the first series was published entirely.
His first book series became a success, making him publish his next series of books, which become also rather popular between ponies that liked this type of books.

Thanks to his growing success, he started gathering a rather considerable amount of money, which he used to buy a bigger home where he lived, where he could start doing his new hobby, inventing new and fascinating items, which most are still left in the dark and on paper, due to his lack of proper materials or technologies needed to make them.
So far, his newest invention was a machine that could do basic mathermatical problems, like adding and substacting numbers, up to even being able to solve several equations, with the help of a series of gears and other tools he used for.

Even though it was one his inventions, he rarely uses it and usually keeps it inside of his working space, since it can be helpful from time to time.

 

Time later, he decided to start a new series of books, starting with a fantasy one that takes place in an imaginary world, with great kingdoms and ancient evils, which also became popular over time. After this big success on this new book, he decided to keep up doing it but started to loose his inspiration with it.
He eventually decided to travel around equestria, looking for new inspirations for his new books in this fantasy serie he had crated.

 

Character Personality: Arcana ia a friendly and somewhat active pony, but he likes to spend most of his time either writing or seeing if he can invent something new that might become useful or creative. He is rather smart and is quite inteligent but he is nuts. He someties talks to himself or makes references to fictional characters or universes when speaking with other ponies. He as well tends to over think stuff or do the exact opposite, just say the first thing that comes to his mind.

Although many would say that he has a mental problem thaks to his crazyness, it is the exact opposite. He is completely helthy, and the way he usually acts is just his personality, not some kind of problem he has.

Character Summary:

Arcana is a hardworking writer and inventor that loves doing what would be tagged as 'nerdy stuff'. His main hobby is writing novels and eventually made it his job, writing several books that became really popular soon after they were published. His first series of books were science fiction, telling how ponykind would be in the future, and all this inspiration came from a few voices he heard on his head. This were his thoughts in reality, but since his mind as a mess, he didn't actually recognized them as his own thoughts.
He also made a few inventions in his life times, which changed to his new hobby rather than writing, which was now his job. He worked on them in his free times, as a distraction from working on his books, yet he usually takes his time with them.

Lately, he has been loosing inspiration over what to write for his books, so he had decided to go in a trip around Equestria, trying to find new inspirations for his latest series of books, a fantasy series he had just come up with.

Not quite ready, missing Character summary, but a review so far would be helpful! Maybe I didn't noticed something or made a few mistakes here and there.

We tend to not review until apps are complete... that said, I've looked over your app

 

generally it's looking fine, however we try to stay away from mental health problems with WoE characters. Perhaps taking out the part about his "craziness in the head" would be a good idea. It's ok for him to hear voices in his head sometimes, especially if it lends to his writing talent... however crazy just for the sake of crazy doesn't fit that well.
