Physique: As a teen Long he’s starting to look much like an adult in size and frame. But where most Long spend many years in study, meditation and learning Huǒ Xīn, has a extremely proactive lifestyle, he has a very well defined body as well as he looks very fit and strong compared to most other Long, even when compared to those that are much older than him. This is only helped by his harsh self imposed workouts.

 

Residence: Poloham, Neighpon.

 

Occupation: Goremu Master / Coach, he is a rather new face to the Dome and its battles but his sheer tenacity, drive and theatrics has won him a strong fan base in a short period of time amongst the lower ranks.

 

Unique Traits: An enchanted necklace from his mother, when worn it allows him to look like a Qilin that shares his overall looks and colors but on a Qilin body. Using this has allowed the fact he’s a Long to remain unknown. Something he favours as it made the school he went to far more easy due to not having the drama of him being a Long training to battle Goremu. Something he felt would just get in the way of his goals. But he does not plan on hiding the truth forever, he just wants the best time for maximum theatrics to show what he truly is.

 

History: His early life was truly nothing of note, born to a very loving mother and father he was there most prized gem. Amidst all this love he grew up like most his kin, but early on it started to show he was a rather different Serpent, a fact that grew with age. Outgoing, hot headed and having no care for studying or learning he took to battling whatever he found, much to the worry of his mother. Hoping it may feed his hunger to explore and make her son relax more, she took him on a grand journey. While this did feed his hunger to explore it only made his lust to break free from the mold grow even stronger. This wish to follow his own path came to it’s true head near the end of the year, the long journey at its last stop before going home. Neighpon.

 

It was here he watched the city of Poloham and all its wonders, but none stuck with him more than watching two Gladiatorial Golems of impressive size battling. Huǒ Xīn was hooked right then and there as all the small parts of what made him act so odd formed together in a blazing heart of passion so powerful his mother renamed him. He was to forever be Huǒ Xīn, Fire Heart. For five years after that day he asked his mother to let him take part in such things. In this time he learned of the schools, teams and more. Using his growing understanding to show his mother how much this meant to him. Finaly on the same day five years later, she gifted him a magic necklace to hide himself as a Qilin and then the paperwork he needed to join the most prestigious academy she had the power to sneak him into. Wasting no time and thanking both of his parents Huǒ Xīn left his home and moved to Poloham, Neighpon. Using gold from his family he settled in, enrolled in the academy using the papers and started his training.

 

While he struggled at first, never one for such boring things as reading and study, he soon took to it with that all powerful passion that raged inside of him. While he hated the work, it was the key to what he wanted. So with all the drive he had he pressed on into the work before him. His drive won him the favor of many teachers while his personality won the heart of his classmates. For him this was his first taste of fame and he loved it. Many a mare wanted to get noticed and many a stallion wanted to be in his group. As the years passed and graduation grew close Huǒ Xīn was the top of his class. This made many Training Centers start eyeing him up and drawing up offers to take on the Goremu Coach to battle in their name. Needing somewhere to start and lacking the funds to run a Goremu all by himself, he took an offer and joined the TC of Saususutoraiki (South strike) as they’d offer various services along with stables, training halls, golem care and most important, given him a low ranked Goremu to help get him get onto his hooves until he could take on more of that by himself and have a custom Goremu built.

 

With this done his dreams came ever closer and within the year Huǒ Xīn took his place in his very first match… And won. With nothing but a training Goremu own by the TC he cleared a path of glory in the low end Goremu training matches and soon grew a fanbase as many saw his skill and knew he was going to become something great as he gained the nickname “Unbeatable”. A name that lasted as he worked his way up the ranks and soon, out of the trainking brackets. Free from them the TC of Saususutoraiki gave him a real Gladiatorial Goremu. It was much smaller than what he wanted, as he had to start in the lightweight brackets.  

 

There he found his first loss, battling Goremu and Coaches that were not other trainers was a shock he was not ready for, but soon his chain of losses came to their end and he turned them back around with victories. While he can’t claim an unbeatable streak of games, he got to keep his nickname with the fans due to how he never gave up. No loss was too big, no matter too hard. He went at it like a starving tiger did and didn’t give up until he won. Within a years time he was in the top ranks of the lightweight brackets and started to face Coaches not part of a TC with custom Goremu and their own crews. Here Huǒ Xīn found his next wall to beat down as his Goremu was often outclassed. But even with most his winnings going to the TC, he saved up what he needed for his very own Goremu.

 

Taiyō Rakka (Solar Fall), a lightweight Goremu built out of brimstone it’s front half was that of a Qilin but it’s long body transformed into the rear end of a Long at its end. A flaming Serpent of stone and embers it was every part as unbreakable as it’s Coach and just as willful, battling to the utter and bitter end with unmatched ferocity. With this came a new nickname, ‘The Dragon’. But with his dream just starting, Huǒ Xīn did not sit on this. He was going to become the master of the lightweight ring and work his way up to the very top. For his dream was to become the best Coach to have ever lived and claim all the fame, glory and power that came with it.

 

Character Personality: Huǒ Xīn’s personality is one of his biggest selling points with his fans. Headstrong but smart, ruthless in battle yet sporting and compassionate outside the ring, prideful and egotistical but never shy to hang with his fans and treat them all with respect and love. For Huǒ Xīn is many things and has many shades and layers. But his drive for power, fame and riches is the powerful driving force in his life and something he will battle tooth and claw to gain more of. Sometimes this greedy side of him can rear its ugly head but many are willing to brush off such outbursts and often play them off as him fitting in to his new nickname.

 

Character Summary: A very odd Long with dreams of greatness, wealth and fame. Hiding as a Qilin he works hard to follow his dreams by becoming the champion of Neighponese gladiatorial golems. Acing past the schools and in real battles his personality, drive and sheer willpower to follow his dream has won him many fans as he works his way up. While a rather new face to the sport he has in a short period of time proven himself to many as a new face well worth watching. While he has yet to leave the training center he hired on with, he has his own Goremu and is looking to fully leave the center and have his own stable and crew.

Golem’s Name:Taiyō Rakka

 

Size: 2.5 ponies tall, 5 ponies long.

 

Shape: It’s front half is that of a Qilin male in looks but the rear half is very long and looks like the rear end of a Long.

 

Body Composition: Brimstone, Fire and stone.

 

Other Descriptive Features: Taiyō Rakka has a mane flowing fire that starts at his head and runs all the way down his tail. Due to a mix of fire and large number of smaller stones on its head, Taiyō Rakka is able to be rather expressive by moving them to copy the faces of a flesh and blood Qilin to some level.

 

Strengths: Taiyō Rakka is hardy, taking blows and giving them back without flinching along with using his fire and heat to wear down other Goremu. His trademark move is a powerful firebreath that jets out from his maw like a blowtorch and can even be used like one. It’s extremely effective against Goremu made out of materials that cannot handle extreme heat and keep their shape. Along with this Taiyō Rakka is extremely fast, using hit and run maneuvers as it tries to wear it’s prey down before moving in for a ‘killing blow’.

 

Weaknesses: Being so heavily tied to fire it’s no shock his weakness is water. As such Taiyō Rakka is spooked by water Goremu’s as attacking them puts his flames at risk. Do to this Huǒ Xīn is willing to toss in the white flag more easily in such battles for the sake of Taiyō Rakka if it gets to overwhelmed by the water.

 

Personality: Taiyō Rakka is much like his master and is something of a show off, hot headed and holding powerful willpower to hold on where most would give up. Often getting up after blows that would fell others only to rush back in like a flaming tiger of anger.  This has often landed Taiyō Rakka in hot water where he takes far more damage than needed. But after a battle is won, even if he can hardly stand Taiyō Rakka is never past showing off for the masses much like his master.
