Candy Corn

A young mare, barley out of school age stood at the front desk of the Grand Marerage Hotel. Receiving her key, she would give the desk clerk a soft smile. "Third Floor. Turn left off the elevator. I'm afraid that it's not much of a view however." "Thanks," Candy would say, a bit of nervousness in her voice. "If you have any questions, just ask. Your luggage should be up shortly...Excuses me Miss, but where is your luggage?" Candy bushed in embarrassment. "Right here," as she pointed to a rather worn wheeled suitcase and her own saddlebags. "I can-" "No Need to worry. We'll have it right up to your room. Now please, get to know the city. I'm sure it's quite a bit different from where your from...which is?" Candy would chime in. "Bittsburgh!" The clerk's facial expression said it all. The basic room, the run down luggage, and the name of the small town near Fillydelphia. The house wouldn't be making much on this guest. His expression grew even more dire as Candy levitated a coupon book. "Oh, Blue Two. That looks fun. We have a little amusement park near Bittsburgh with an old wooden one. I wonder how this one compares?" Candy would turn toward the elevator head to her room. "A quick nap first before exploring," she said with a yawn before boarding the elevator.

As Candy opened the door, she would sit on the bed and sigh. She had just one week in Las Pegasus. One week to enjoy her coming of age...and one week to try to find her biological father. All information she had gathered said he now lived here. She levitated a picture an old, wrinkled photo of her mother and him. That's all she had to go on. Closing her eyes, she would doze off for who knew how long before a knock would wake her. "Miss Corn, I have your bags," the bellpony said. Opening the door, she smiled. "Thank you so much. Just set them dawn over by the window."

As he left, she would make her way down stairs once more, guide map held in her orange aura. "Blue or food..." she mumbled to herself while walking...right into somepony. Looking up she would blush from embarrassment. "I am soooo sorry. I should have been paying attention to where I was walking. You must think I'm a real Jag...Wait a moment, your that pretty mare from the billboard

I saw outside, aren't you? Your famous!" Her eyes widened as she beamed a smile. "Um...Allow me to buy you lunch to make it up to you." as she brought out the coupon book once more.

So far this morning is was another beautiful Tuesday in Las Pegasus. Wind Dancer had just finished her weekly meeting with Golden Bit. She held open interviews every Tuesday for performances, but for Wind Dancer it was more of a formality thing. Wind Dancer already had a permanent contract with the Mareage for her weekly performances. She just mainly came to the Tuesday open-house meetings in order to let Golden know what routine she was planning on doing that week. This week she would be debuing a new routine aside from 'Flight of the Pegasus'. That was the only part of her weekly routine that she couldn't change because of the volcano. Everything else was new though and she hoped that the crowd would enjoy it.

As it was though, since she just finished her meeting she was now wandering through the casino floor taking in some of the tourist that might have been in the area. She want like most celebrity ponies and actually enjoyed mingling with what most in high nobility would call the "common folk". Such titles bothered her. There wasn't any one pony that was better than another. Well, that wasn't the complete truth. Sky Sailing was better than everypony else, be he was her special somepony so she had a bit of biased there. She couldn't help but giggle at the thought as she felt something bump into her backside making her eyes go wide for a moment.

She turned around and found a grey colored mare that was shaking her head a moment with a tri-colored mane and tail with a map laying next to her. She could instantly tell what had happened and smiled to the point that had bumped into her. She began vehemently apologizing for timing into her and she could tell from hey accent that she was from the north eastern parts of Equestria. When she realized who she was, saying that she was the mare from the billboard and that she was famous, she giggled. Looks like I'll have to tell them to take that down again... she thought to herself. It wasn't that she didn't love the attention, but more she never cared much for excessive amounts of spotlight. She did what she did for the enjoyment of others. The happiness that she got from the smiles was enough. She knew they they only did it so that she could make even more do so though. This pony was certainly excited.

"I am! My name is Wind Dancer," she said as the pony brought out a coupon book trying to find something she could use for the lunch that she offered. Wind smiled again. "Tell you what, how about we do lunch and you let me covert it for you. I can tell that you are on a budget so you shouldn't waste what you have buying me food just because you happened to literally bump into me. I appreciate the gesture though," she continued. "Is there a place here that you've been wanting to try? Anything you want, my treat," Wind finished extending a hoof to the mare.

Candy Corn

Candy was excited as she saw their was no ill will for her clumsiness as she returned Windy's hoofshake, though with a bit more vigor then probably was expected. "Nice to meet you Wind Dancer. I'm Candy Corn, though most just call me Candy." she said as she released. her grasp. "Really? You'll buy me to lunch?" Candy's smile would grow into a grin as she soon found herself hugging the pegasus mare, though quickly released it. "Hehe," she chuckled "My family is full hungers." Candy would back away a few steps to give the Windy some space before levitating the guide map back in front of her. "Let's see...restaurants, restaurants...Windy, Is it OK if I call ya Windy? Where do you suggest? I am a bit famished and haven't had anything since breakfast on the train. Hm...Anyplace around here have Spaghetti and Tuhmaytu sauce?"

As the young mare began to walk, she put the coupon book away. "I don't want to give off the impression I'm a moocher," she said with a half smile. "And I don't want to keep ya from your job if you need to get there for a rehearsal or something like that, or keep ya from any of your friends if yins ponies had plans. I'm sure you are in high demand being such a famous equine."

Wind Dancer could only giggle a bit as she heard Candy Corn first say her name and she seemed ecstatic about the fact that she was willing to buy her lunch instead of the reverse. She asked if she could call her Windy and Wind Dancer nodded. She confirmed that she hasn't had a lot to eat today and she began talking about not wanting to seem like a mooch and she didn't want to keep her if she had some important ponies she had to meet with. She shook her heard with a smile.

"Na, your not a mooch. Besides it doesn't count when I offer. Not to mention I've been in your hooves before. Before I got here and got a few breaks I was a traveling Showmare, and loved off of whatever ponies felt like giving me. As far as restaurants go that serve what you're looking for, we have plenty of Itailian restaurants here in Las Pegasus. One of the better ones here in the Mareage. If you wanna follow me, it's a bistro on the rooftop. Plus I'm not in high enough demand that I can't spend time with fans or make new friends," she finished with a smile, her down-to-earth side shining through.

Candy Corn

Candy would trot in place in excitement as she smiled to Windy. "The Rooftop?" her voice went up in pitch. "I bet there's some amazing views of Dawn Tawn from up there." The white unicorn would follow the pegasus mare to the elevator. "Makin' new friends," she was now beaming as the doors opened. "I'm always dawn to make a new friend."

The unicorn would step into the elevator and wait for Windy before pressing the button for the rooftop. "I'm actually in tawn for a week. This trip was a gift from my ma before I start my apprenticeship in Ponyville. Candy isn't just my name, it's my talent." With the soft orange glow of her horn she would give Wind Dancer a few pieces of candy corn. "So, where is your home tawn?" she would ask with quite a bit of inquisition in her voice. "Mine is Bittsburgh, though I bet you many have never heard of it. We get overshadowed by Filly..."

Wind couldn't help but giggle. "Well, the Mareage isn't the tallest of the casinos here, but the view is pretty nice regardless. And I never met anypony that didn't want to make a new friend!" Wind said with smile as they rode the elevator up. That was a lengthy trip though. After all, they were currently on the ground floor of the casino and the rooftop was thirty five floors above them. She watched as Candy pressed the button for the rooftop and she couldn't help but smile when she said that Candy wasn't just her name, but it was her talent as well. Wind graciously took the pieces of candy corn from the mare. While it wasn't' her favorite Candy, it was still a good kind, so she happily munched it down. "Wow, usually I'm not too much of a fan of the candy corn from around here, but this is really good! No pony here in LP can make it right and it just tastes like wax most of the time. This actually tastes like candy!" she said with a smile hoping the mare understood the obscure wording of her compliment.

When she started talking about hometowns though, her demeanor shifted a bit to a bit more sorrowful. She heard her talk about how she was from Bittsburgh,m but she probably wouldn't have heard of it cause Fillydelphia seems to outshine them in almost every way. "Well, I was born in Cloudsdale but I haven't really been back there in a while. I don't have very good memories of home. I've been meaning to make amends to that but I can't ever gather the courage to go back to that place," Wind Dancer said with a small shudder. Despite how far she had come since Golden Bit had fixed her wing completely and saved her career, there was still a part of her that tensed up every time she thought of Cloudsdale and how everything happened, and what could have been had her luck not had been as good as it was.

Candy Corn

Candy would blush when Windy complimented her own version of her namesake candy. “Thanks Windy. It’s the reason I landed my apprenticeship in Ponyville of all places. I know how to make a few other Nightmare Night staples as well but can’t wait to expand my...what’s the word, repertoire?”

The unicorn could sense Windy’s change in mood and almost without a second though found herself hugging the pegasus once more. “Yinz gotta look for the things that bring joy to you,” she said releasing the hug. “In Bittsburgh we take great pride in our sports teams. My family would leave the farm for a few hoofball games every year. I’m sure Cloudsdale has something that brought you joy, right?”

Candy’s eyes would look to the floor indicator as they climbed higher into the hotel. “This is one tall building, and it dose seem so much bigger on the inside,” she chuckled. “I’d bet it’s almost tall enough to touch the clouds itself.”

Wind was happy that the mare understood the compliment in her wordings. It saved her from the awkward experience of trying to explain what she meant to a mare that she barely knew and had just accidentally offended. She smiled when the mare said that she had landed am apprenticeship in Ponyville for her candy making. She said that she could make other Nightmare Night staples, but was eager to learn how to make more. "Well, given how good your Candy Corn is, I think that whatever you make otherwise would be equally as delicious... Unless you're making black licorice... I don't think anypony can make that stuff taste good. I don't even know how they call that candy, or food at all for that matter," Wind said shudders from the thought of the licorice.

When she heard the mare talk about looking to the things that brought her joy, while giving hey another hug in the process, Wind nodded and returned the hug. "We just recently got a hoofball team ourselves, but they suck. Well, here in Las Pegasus anyway. I don't know what Cloudsdale has. I haven't been there since well..." she said lifting her left wing. "A few years after this happened. Because of it, I was a very weak flyer up until a few years ago when everything in it finally got properly fixed. Which unfortunately, started off with them having to completely rebreak and then reset the bone, the tendons, and the muscle with plates and screws until they started healing properly. Thank Celestia they knocked me out for that," she answered explaining a bit why she didn't care much for where she was from without going into too much detail.

When the unicorn talked about the casino being bigger, and take than she thought, Wind giggled and shook her head. "Nah. The Mareage that tall compared to the others around her. She's not the shortest though. But she is old, and so are most of the elevators and the like, so that are a bit slower. It makes the casino seem taller than it is. If you were also a Pegasus I would have suggested flying as it would have been quicker," she laughed a bit as the elevator finally dinged. "Ah, we're here. Come! This is one of the best Itailian bistros in the city!" Wind said with excitement for her new friend.

Candy Corn

Candy would make a noticeable grimace as Windy described her operation. Medical things like that always made her queasy, and even though she didn’t have wings, she could imagine the pain. “Well, I’m glad they where able to get your wing fixed up. I couldn’t imagine—“

As the elevator doors opened, Candy had to hold back her excitement not to jump out. She looked to Windy, grinning from ear to ear. “Wow! This place looks amazing. Thank you.” The unicorn would extend a hoof for her friend to lead. She was the local celebrity after all. Candy was just a corn farmer. And the fact that her friend headlined at the hotel...that had to help too!

Wind nodded as Candy said that she was happy that they were able to get her wind fixed up. "Yeah, that was a major relief and I'm glad that it got fixed. I wouldn't be able to dance the way that I do if they weren't able to fix it. And the mare responsible for setting it through is none other than the mare that owns this casino. It is why almost all of my shows are done here on the volcano grounds," she said with a smile.

When the elevator door finally opened, Candy was ecstatic on how the place looked. "Yup! Looks like a little shop in Itaily would. They also serve the same hearty portions that they do from their homeland. If you leave this place hungry, it's your own fault," she giggled as she lead them in.

"Good afternoon miss Windy, table for two today I presume? Will Sky be joining you today as well?" The hostess asked.

Wind smiles and giggled a bit. "Sky is working in his studio today making sure his music is ready for his next performance. Right now, I'm just teasing a new friend of mine to lunch. Sometimes the most interesting things in a day can just randomly bump into you, or fall out of a tree," she said with a giggle.

Candy Corn

The young mare would look around, noting what Windy said about the theming in the restaurant. It was quite immersive and it looked accurate down to the minor details...or at least what she thought they would be.

As the unicorn followed the maître d’ she giggled, looking over to Windy. “So, who’s this Sky,” she said with the grin of a school filly about to hear the latest gossip. As she took her seat, she began to hold up her menu, hiding behind it as she read it over. “Is that the other pony in the billboard? If it is, he looks kinda cute. Is he just your partner or your partner,” Candy said with a bit of teasing.

“Ohh, the server angle hair. This place is truly knows how to treat a pony, or at least their stomach.”

Wind Dancer smiled and nodded to Candy Corn when she asked about Sky. "Yup that's Sky Sailing! He's me hopefully soon to be fiance. I have a few things in the works on how to proceed to him. It's going to be a huge surprise for everypony," she said with a smile as they were seated.

"Good afternoon madams, Miss Windy... Eet ees always eh pleasure to zee you. I see you brrrought a new frrriend yes? Would you be interested in a Marescati White? I can geet yu eh bottle on zee house," the owner asked as he came over to greet them. He over heard Windy's friend comment on the angel hair and he nodded with a small bow. "Yes ma'am, we do. All of me pastas are made in house and we serve every dish that can be found in zee homeland," the olive green colored stallion commented.

Candy couldn't help but giggle. "That's sweet that you found your special somepony and have such a close connection. Maybe someday I'll run into him in the lobby as well," as she lowered the menu. "As showponies, I bet you'll pop the question in front of a sold out show or something like that. You'll have to let me know when you plan to do it. I'd like to see that ending," she said, winking.

As the olive stallion approached, she smiled. "Then that's what I'm getting. I hope your portions are hearty cus I haven't eaten since I left Bittsburgh," she giggled. "Marescty? sounds good, but what kind of pop do yinz have? I haven't had wine before. Not to say I haven't had any of the harder stuff. Corn has other uses," she said with a rather sly grin and winked at Windy. "Oh and an order of garlic bread as well?" Candy looked to Windy, almost like a child would in anticipation waiting to see what she would order. "So, what is your favorite dish here?"

Wind Dancer could only sit there and gawk at the pony that she had only just met as she said what she said. She wasn't sure how, but this pony had read her like an open book and knew almost exactly what she was already planning to do... She had to shake her head for a moment before speaking. "Wait... How did you..." she started before looking around the room. She then looked back to Candy Corn. "Am I really making it that obvious... I want it to be a surprise for Sky... but if somepony that just met me can see it coming from a mile away..." she said thinking about it before being relieved that the waiter came over.

"I think we'll take the Marescato and I'll also take a Peach Bellini Iced tea for my non-alcoholic drink today," she said with a smile as The stallion turned to her companion. Apparently she'd never had wine before. Well then, she was in for a treat here.

The Stallion himself had to do a double take, both at the mention of pop, and... did she just say that she wanted every pasta that they served... surely she'd meant the angel hair... right? "Well, for zee Zoda... Zee got Root Beer, Lemon-lime, Grape, Strawberry, Caramel, and Ginger Ale. Otherwise, zee have Peach Tea, Mango Tea, Raspberry tea, Strawberry Tea, Tea with Lemon, and green tea... And to confirm, you wanted zee angel hair yes? You will not be disappointed with zee portions... We make Itaily proud," he said with a smile before writing down the angel hair and the garlic bread.

It was Wind Dancer's turn to order. "I'll have your super ultra sampler with extra lasagna and extra ziti, just how I always like it."

"Exxtrra Sauce?"

"You got it!" Wind said as he went to put their orders in once he got the drink order from the other mare.

Candy Corn

Candy perked up at the mention of Root Beer. “Oh yes, Root Beer sounds great, and yes, I’d like the angle hair please with your house tomato sauce.”

The young unicorn’s mouth would hang open as she heard Windy make her order. Her big, muscular cousins didn’t even eat that much after plowing a corn field. She would shake her head, trying to rattle the shock away. “I...um wow,” she said looking to Windy. “Yinz must burn a ton of carbs in your show.” Before the waiter left, Candy would chime in again. “Um... can you add a small side of Fettuccine Alfredo please?”

Wind Dancer saw the look that was on Candy Corns face when she ordered her meal and she couldn't help but chuckle a small bit. It was always funny to see the reactions of ponies that didn't know her see the amount of food that she actually ate. With her live-style, the dancing, the practices, the fine-tuning of routines, and sometimes the on the spot shows for a few of her fans, she burned a lot of calories. She heard her add a fettuccine alfredo to her order as well. "What?" She asked with a smile. "You didn't expect me to one of those dainty show ponies that go out and only order the smallest salad they can get. A mare's gotta eat to keep up with what I do," she said nodding in response when she heard Candy say that she must burn a lot of carbs in her shows.

"Shows, practices, shoot just traversing through Las Pegasus during the summer would burn off most of that plate as warm as it can get here at times. it is a desert after all, cloud city or not," she said with a smile. "Being a pegasus does help with that, cause I can just fly higher until it's cooler. That still burns more calories though," she said as she started taking a sip of her wine. "So, why don't you tell me about Bittsbergh a bit? I don't believe I ever got to make a visit there when I was a traveling dancer," she told Candy.

Candy Corn

Candy smiled to her pegasus friend when she asked about her home town. “Well, where to start,” she said before taking a sip of her root beer. “Well, it’s a growing town, though nothing the size of Manehatten of Filly. Our dawntawn is actually where two rivers meet to form a third. We call that the point. It’s a big park that’s actually built in the site of our towns namesake...Fort Bitt.” Candy tapped her chin as she continued to think of things that Windy may find interesting.

“Oh, we’re associated with Black ‘n Gold. We take pride in those colors,” she giggled. “We also have, what I think, is the best skyline in Equestria. From the top Mount Celestia the view is second to none...oh and we have an incline to take yinz up to the top.” Taking another drink, she would smile. “My family’s farm is to the east. We farm corn, popping corn to be precise.”

Wind Dancer listened as she heard Candy Corn tell her that Bittsburgh was a growing city, but it still wasn't anywhere close to the size of Filly or Manehatten. She talked about how the city was built on the fort of it's namesake Fort Bitt. She also commented about how the city's colors were black and gold. That concept alone intrigued her. She wasn't aware that most cities had their own... Colors persay, but she supposed that there would be a color that cities tended to use more often than others. Canterlot was very much a white based city. Almost every building in Canterlot were white or had white accents in them. Las Pegasus shared at least one of those colors. Gold was the color of wealth and this city was all about that. It was the easiest city to either win big or go broke. Unfortunately for many, the latter of those two options seemed to be the easiest. It still took a lot of hard work to get to the spots where she was in the city. The ones who were fake would get weeded out pretty quickly.

She was also interested about the talk about Mount Celestia and the view from the top of it. She imagined that it would probably be close to the view that she had from Canterlot when she was there not overly long ago. With it being located on a mountain, the view down to the valleys below were spectacular. Especially in the setting sun. The Corn farm also caught her attention. "Popping corn seems to be quite a popular treat here in Las Pegasus. With as many shows that are going on here, there's always ponies buying it. You should consider possibly setting up some business with some of the theaters here. I'm sure they would love to get their popcorn straight from one of the sources rather than paying the middle pony mark-up for it," Wind Dancer suggested. "Also it sounds like a nice homey place where you're from. It's definitely a far cry from what it's like here in LP."

Candy smiled. “It is. Us Yinzers are proud of the Burgh and how it grew up from that old fort all those years ago. Who would have thought the point, where the rivers come together would have been such a popular piece of land back then.”

“My favorite place in town though is the old amusement park. I been going there since I was a foal. My family provides the popcorn and got free tickets.”

She would smile as Windy mentioned supplying popcorn to Las Pegasus. “Oh that’s a great idea, though the whole family would have to get together to grow that much. Maybe just one theater to start out? Oh what about your theater?” She said with a huge grin though it quickly turned sour. “My father would need to make that deal though. Don’t want to be putting my corn where my mouth is.” She would finish off her root beer and hold her empty glass to to get the waiter’s attention ... or at least that’s what they did back home.

Wind Dancer nodded as she listened to Candy continue. She called herself a Yinzer, and while she wasn't entirely sure what that was, it didn't seem like a bad term or she didn't think that the mare would have used it. Still, she made a point. The place where two rivers come together could either be a hot spot, or a washout, in the literal sense of the word. She imagined that flooding could be a problem in the surrounding areas of the river basin, but as long as it was properly maintained she supposed it wouldn't be too bad, unless both rivers started flooding at the same time... then that would be bad. She also talked of an amusement park that she and her family provided the popcorn for, and as such they always had free tickets to get in. "That sounds quite lovely! I've never actually been to an amusement park before, but then again, this entire city is like an amusement park for those who don't live here, so I guess that counts?" she said as their food arrived, and boy were the portions hearty. Windy's own meal had to be brought out on two plates because of how much food there was.

"Oh that looks so good," she said with a smile wasting little time taking a bit of the lasagna and letting the melty cheese drip a bit as she bit down. Both of the plates that were in front of Candy were full as well. In fact, both the angel hair and the fettuccine were on the same sized plate and either the waiter pony didn't catch the small, or they simply didn't do small as both had noodles hanging off the sides of the plate. She nodded with her mouth full when she heard Candy said that it was a good idea to get a contract or two out here before asking about her show and the theater that she used. She had to shake her head at that one but smiled.

"For that one you would actually have to talk to all of the casinos in the area for because I don't do indoor shows anymore. The force of the winds that I generate in my shows have caused some structural instability in a few arenas before so I'd rather not put anypony in harms way for something that they are supposed to be enjoying. That being said, Golden Bit is the owner here at the Mareage and she has several theaters that other ponies use, and The Fire and Ice next door is also run by a pony that has a decent head on her shoulders. I would recommend talking to them about setting up supply contracts and they can probably get you a couple whole casinos to provide for," Wind Dancer said with a smile.

Candy was memorized by the food brought before them. Her mouth hung open in aw of the massive amounts of pasta. Looking up, she saw that Windy had already dove into her meal, cheese dripping down. Candy on the other hoof had to be a bit more...careful. Oh the problems of being a white coated mare with a love or red sauce. Carefully she used her utensils to quickly put away the angle hair, though the look in her eye was that of fullness. Quietly she attempted to hide a burp as it escaped before eyeing up the fettuccine. "Well, Pop Pop always said, you order it, you eat it..." as she slowly started to eat the second dish.

The unicorn would look up from her fettuccine when Windy said she had never visited an amusement park, but rather lived in one. Candy got a rather sinister glint in her eye as she finally finished her second dish and watched the pegasus pack away hers. "Perhaps Mom and Pop Pop can make a trip out her on their own. I'll try to remember Golden Bit, but perhaps we can send them a post card...in case I forget. In the meantime, what do you say we let our stomachs settle a bit with a glass of that wine. I think it might be best before the next thing on my list."

Candy could not stop thinking about riding Wild Blue Two...or Blue Two as Coaster Enthusiasts ponies that visited Bittsburgh would call it. Having it referred to as the closest thing that many would get to flying like a Wonderbolt...and best of all not having to worry about crashing, and the G-Forces where said to be the most powerful of any coaster in Equestria.

Being the show pony that she was, she always had a huge appetite. Sure she wasn't performing today, but she still burned off a lot of calories even in her day to day stuff, not to mention she was planning on doing a bit of practicing later for the new routine that she was working on. After all, as a performer you can't keep doing the same act all the time and expect ponies to keep coming. Ponies want variety, especially here in Las Pegasus. She knew that there were probably some that loved certain acts more than others, but that was why she was planning on rotating them as soon as she had enough to do so. Plus there was the fact that she would have to start including Sky in some of those as well. As it was now, their first actual live show was currently set for the Hearth's Warming Festival in Ponyville. She needed to practice for that a bit as well.

She smiled when the mare in front of her said that her pop told her that she ordered it, that she had to eat it. "Trust me," she said as she was already mostly finished with her extras and was working on the rest of the plate. Of course, the rest of the plate was still mostly half gone already. "Eating it won't be a problem. If it ends up being too much just slide it this way," she said with a giggle as she continued as Candy talked about how her Mon and Pop Pop could make their way our here themselves out as well. She definitely said that she would try to remember Golden Bit. "If you would like before we leave the Mareage I can take you to meet her. Golden and I are pretty close ourselves. She is the one that basically fixed my wing after all," she said with a smile. "That said letting a stomach settle that's not used to eating that much is good as well. That said, I think I might go for some desert today, anything sweet that you wanna try?" she asked her new friend.

The unicorn would slowly finish her second dish, a small burp escaping. “Excuse me,” she said only loud enough for Windy to here. After a few moments of watching her friend devour her meal, Candy would giggle. “You know, you eating could almost be a show of its own.”

She would swirl her wine glass with her aura as she listened to Wind talk about Golden Bit. She nodded, taking a drink. “Maybe...but today is about having fun and enjoying ourselves. The day I check out, I’ll make sure to swing by her office.”

As her friend asked about dessert, Candy shook her head. “I’m good with this wine.”

~~~Wind Dancer~~~
Wind Dancer couldn't help but blush a bit when Candy said that her eating could be a show in of itself. She honestly tried to not make herself too much of a spectacle while she was out and about, and she didn't like to think of herself a messy eater. Or at least she didn't think she was... she briefly checked around her to make sure she hadn't made a mess. She was starting to second guess desert as she became a bit more self-conscious about her eating habits. Still the mare across from her didn't seem to mean any ill by it, and when she heard the mare burp herself, she couldn't help but smile and feel a bit more relaxed.
When she said that she would consider the idea, but today was about having fun she nodded. Candy added that she would likely seek out Golden Bit on the last day that she was here. "The easiest way for anypony to get in contact with her is to drop by the Mareage on Tuesdays. Tuesday is open interviews for performers and the like. Otherwise, she can be anywhere inside the casino. I'll make sure to tell her to expect you though at some point," she said with a smile. "That being said, what were you thinking of doing next? There's a lot of places in LP that are worth visiting," she asked.
As Candy downed the last of the wine, a large grin would begin to form. As she levitated the guide map in front of her, she’d spin it around to show Windy the Wild Blue Yonder II, the improved and supposedly even more intense Coaster through the clouds. “Can we do this?” The young mare’s said with excitement. “I’m sure they may even give us front row with you being so famous here in Las Pegasus.”
The unicorn would also levitate a tourist guide she had picked up at the train station. “Ohh a wax museum, and a comedy show. So much to do.” Little did Candy know that the next page would feature a centerfold add for Windy and her special somepony’s act. Her mouth hung open for a moment before turning the page to face Windy. “Wow, you really are famous. I’ll have to have you sign this before I leave,” she giggled.
