At long last, she was finally here! Cloudfeather pressed her face to the window of the airship as the towering buildings and attractions of Los Pegasus came into view. Sure, it would have been cheaper and easier to fly herself, but then she would have missed out on the experience that all other ponies got when they made the journey to the most toured city in Equestria! Her wings flapped involuntarily out of excitement and anticipation as the airship crawled slowly towards the city. She gathered up her bags and items and prepared to exit the airship, though an attendant informed her it would be at least a half hour before they landed.

When at long last the doors opened and the platforms descended, Cloudfeather shot out of the ship like an arrow, flying as high as she good to get a perfect view of the city. It was amazing! Everything she ever could have hoped for! She saw eager tourists of all shape, size, and species wandering about, chatting excitedly! Flashing lights and sounds, a wide enough variety that it was liable to give a pony sensory overload! Buildings taller than she had ever seen! As quickly as she had bolted to the sky, she tore for the ground, landing quite ungracefully yet still maintaining a bounce in her step. Anypony else in her situation would be singing an improvised song, complete with self-harmonies, full instrumentation, and even some cool choreography right now, but Cloudfeather decided to keep the song in her heart and her head. Her coworkers tended to dislike it when she sang (something about being "tone-deaf"), and she doubted the Los Pegasus ponies were any different.

In any case, this did little to decrease the spring in her step as she jaunted to her hotel and got checked in. Oh the sights she would see! She tossed her bags onto the bed and then flew out the window, surveying the town to decide where she wanted to go first. After a few moments' deliberation, she decided on the building directly across the street. Down she dove and directly into the building, leaving the rotating door behind her spinning faster than the eye could detect.

The building was essentially what she had expected: an arcade full of ponies eager to trade their bits for the chance to win tickets. All sorts of entertainment floated between the machines, including performers, ads for shows, and of course, portraits of the owners, Flim and Flam. What to do first! She supposed she could see a show... Her wage as an engineer afforded her plenty of bits for the journey, so she didn't want to blow them all on the slot machines and arcades just yet... Looking around the room, she spotted a poster advertising "The Greatest Dancers in Equestria!" Now that was something she'd pay to see! She exchanged her bits for tickets and was entering the auditorium in no time at all.

Today was going to be interesting to say the least. It was going to be the first time in a while that Wind Dancer had done and indoor show. Most of her routines just didn't allow her to be confined anymore once she got used to doing open air performances. However, seeing that with the help of her fiance she'd gotten into the singing side of things as well, she knew that more indoor places would be wanting the two of them to perform. It was probably good that she was starting to tone things down just a bit. It has been a few months since that night of passion and while she hasn't had and if the major setbacks that came from carrying a little one she was easier to fatigue than normal.

Still, she made sure that she was prepped and ready to go. For the most part most wouldn't be able to tell that she was carrying a foal yet and that meant they were expecting her all. Today's performance was only a couple of songs today as today's performance was a charity event for the hospital. All of the proceeds were going straight to the critical wing to help patients that have suffered critical injures. She watched the crowd gather from behind the curtains before she looked up at everything once more. She was absolutely paranoid when it came to making sure the supports were stable.

Today's songs were simple for her and only one she felt could possibly do some damage. It was a fairly upbeat magicana song that was a great dance single, and then there was a classic song, and then one final one that she would sing. A few more minutes and the lights began to dim until it was pitch black in the hall. She then took her place in the center of the stage and waited for the cue.

Cloudfeather was practically jumping out of her seat as the lights dimmed until it was nearly pitch dark. Then a booming voice echoed throughout the auditorium, announcing the great Wind Dancer and her husband (the pony next to her had a coughing fit just then which caused her to miss his name)! She waited with baited breath, and then was awed as the stage lights came up on a beautiful lavender pegasus in a blue leotard. Not far into her first routine, her husband joined her onstage, just as regal and handsome as she was beautiful!

The pair were mesmerising! Up and down, around and over, in ways she thought impossible, even for a pegasus! Each move and song was more impressive than the last. Then, the grand finale! Not only was it impressive as far as feats of hoofwork and flexibility, there were several parts where the audience gasped, nervous that the dancers might be injured! But somehow, they both pulled through in the end, and spectacularly well! When the show at last ended, Cloudfeather burst into the air cheering and applauding, actually managing to hit her head on the ceiling in her excitement! She hoped she would be able to shake those ponies' hoofs at some point to congratulate the on such a job well done!

Wind's routine went by without a hitch. Dancing to Beethooven's Fifth was always fun for her and she managed to keep the wing gusts noticable to the crowd, but since they were indoors, making a hurricane like she did on the pond of the Mareage was out of the question. Not to mention she was sure that would probably too much for her right now anyway. Her doctors have been telling hey to take it easy again, but at least that's time there circumstances were much happier than missing a damaged wing back to health.

The performance was much shorter than she would usually do, but she wasn't there main attraction of the show tonight. Tonight's headliner was a new singer from Neighpon. She's heard good things about her and she sounded pretty good herself. She did the act as a opener to get ponies out to see. Of course everyone in Las Pegasus knew that she wasn't the primary show sure to how inflated the ticket prices were. Windy never let them get like that for her shows.

At the end of the show though, she couldn't help but wonder a bit as she saw an enthusiastic fan shoot from her seat only to pound straight into the ceiling. She seemed to be okay as she was still cheering and applauding. She wondered if she was any relation to Candy. Now that was a mare that had a lot of energy. See gave a gentle bow before she and her fiance departed from the stage and make their way into the crowd to watch the rest of the show. She's have to catch up with that pony after the show, if nothing else to make sure that she was okay. The lights dimmed for the final act. That would have to wait.

From her position above the crowd, Cloudfeather was able to spot the dancers' position in the audience as they left the stage. She made a mental not of where they were seated and then returned to her own (at request of the ushers). Soon followed the headliner of the night, a talented singer. Cloudy listened to her just as enthusiastically as she had watched the dancers, but the vocalist retreated backstage after the show, so there was no way she'd be able to meet her. Oh well, the dancers were still fantastic, and she actually knew where they were. As the lights of the auditorium slowly came back on, Cloudy bolted to where she had seen them sitting, but was still at the back of the crowd of ponies looking for autographs and photos.

Her camera! Of course she had forgotten something, and it happened to be one of the most important things on her list! She kicked herself for several moments for forgetting such a valuable item until without realising it, she had come face to face with the dancing duo. They caught her off guard. "I uh... Um..." she started nervously. "Hi! You, uh, were really amazing, and um, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your performance, and um... yeah" And with that, she turned to walk away, feeling extremely embarassed.

As the performance ended, she smiled as the crowd applauded. They seemed to have enjoyed her show and her voice was great. She bowed before making hey way back stage once more. She hoped that she would come back out at some point as it was considered poor taste among performers to ignore they're fans after a show. She herself had only ever done that once, and even then that wasn't entirely accurate. She just had her aunt's set on one very handsome fan that fell into her life from a tree only a couple weeks before.

Many ponies did take that opportunity to come see her though. She'd been to enough shows and done enough shows for security to know that she actually loved this part. Mingling with the crowds and seeing everypony happy was the best part about performing. The mare that she saw hot her head made her way to her and she was relieved. She seemed to stranger a bit as she got up to see her. This must have been the first show that she'd been to of hers. "Thank you, and it's good to see that you're doing okay as well. That was quite the knock on the noggin. My normal venue is outside so usually the only thing you have to worry about is getting wet, especially the first few rows of ponies," she giggled as the mare stammered a bit more. At this point everything else was starting to die down as well. "That said, you seem new here to LP. Would you like a basic tour? I don't have anything else planned for tonight," she smiled.

"Oh, haha, you, uh, saw that, huh? Yeah, I'm not used to really having anything over my head that isn't made of clouds haha..." Her eyes lit up as the pony mentioned the tour. "You - you're really offering to show me, a lowly factory pony, a tour of the city?? Oh no, I couldn't! I'm sure you have much more important ponies to see than me! I mean, I'm just your standard tourist! Hahaha" Cloudfeather was dying internally throughout this exchange. She hadn't been this nervous since she had gotten her Wonderbolts hat signed!

Wind Dancer couldn't help but smile at the statement that the pony in front of her wasn't used to places that weren't made entirely of cloud. "Well, I can be the first to tell you if that not all clouds are as soft as they seem, but most of the floor levels are pretty forgiving," she said with a smile. When the mare talked about hey being a lowly factory mare and that she probably had more important things to do than give her a tour.

"Nonsense. There's no such thing as a lowly anything. Didn't matter to me what a pony does for a loving as long as they are a friendly face! Besides without ponies working the factories the infrastructure of Equestria. You ponies keep the nation moving. I just help cheer them up now and then," Wind smiled. "This here is The Fire and Ice hotel and casino. One of the newest and most prosperous casinos that's opened up. One tower is set up as a Frozen mountain and the other set up as a volcano. It's a great asthetic," Windy said not waiting for a yes to start the tour.

"I... wow, thank you! You must be one of the kindest ponies here! My name's Cloudfeather, but you can call me Cloudy. I know I read your names in the program, but I've already forgotten them (Celestia, I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached to my shoulders!)!" Cloudy was doing little to contain her excitement over the prospect that she would be spending time with a bonafide celebrity (albeit one she didn't know existed until an hour ago, but a celebrity nonetheless)! She looked over the auditorium at the asthetic to which the dancer pointed, realising the decor for the first time since she arrived. She had been in such a rush that she had forgotten to look around!

(Sorry, wasn't feeling good for a lot of today. Oh, and Windy's fiancee is actually played by another player, so I can't really respond with him, )

~~~Wind Dancer~~~
Wind smiled to the mare. "Believe it or not there are a lot of nice ponies that are here. I know the owner of this place and the Mareage next door are two of the most down to earth ponies that I know. Other than my fiance that is," she smiled as the pony introduced herself. When she asked for their names, Windy blushed a bit from forgetting basic courtesy. "Oh, my apologies! I should have mentioned that sooner. My name is Wind Dancer, but most of my friends and family call my Windy. This is Sky Sailing, though he probably won't be able to join us for the tour. He's got to make sure the equipment gets home without getting damaged," she says with a smile as they exchanged his and he went on his way.
"So, Cloudy you said? What are some of the things you like? I presume you're here in vacation, so based on that I should be able to get you to ask the parts of Las Pegasus that you'll enjoy. There's a little bit of everything here, but you just have to know where to look," Wind said with a smile. They stepped out of the auditorium and into the lobby floor and immediately you could see the difference in the two sides, one hallway looked like an ice cave and the other a lava tube, both leading into a casino floor. Then you had the main lobby for the hotel and the central point of the casino that looked like a swirling storm of ice and fire. She would wait here before deciding anything else. It was pretty warm outside today so she wanted to enjoy the cool inside just a bit longer.
Cloudy was slightly disappointed that her fiancé wouldn't be able to join them, but was still excited nonetheless! As the dancer introduced herself, Cloudy began mentally repeating the name over and over in her head so she wouldn't forget it as easily as she had forgotten her camera (which she was still kicking herself for). They bid her fiancé goodbye and headed into the lobby, where the architecture she had somehow missed became apparent. It was like nothing she'd ever seen before! Blending fire and ice in exquisite structures, making clear the difference between the two environments. It was a marvel to behold, and she had to remind herself to close her mouth as they proceeded through (nopony needed to smell the snacks she'd eaten on the way here).
Entranced, Cloudy barely heard Windy's question. "Oh! Who, me? I like clouds! And foals! And adventure, flying, music, dancing (she gestured towards Windy as she said this), all sorts of things! But mostly clouds." She blushed a little at the last statement, knowing it was probably a little unusual for a pony to be obsessed with such trivial things as clouds. Then, she started, remembering her manners. "What about you? What are some of the things you like??"
(no worries! get feeling better soon! i totally understand. i'm pretty busy these days and so might not be able to respond super quickly :|||)
Wind Dancer could see the slight look is disappointment that Sky wouldn't be joining them, but his equipment was expensive. Normally she would help him make sure it got home okay, but there wasn't much for them to bring to this performance. They weren't the headliner, and being indoors meant they could use the amps and sounds systems that the casino had. That gave her more time afterwards for things like this. She could also see that the mare stood in awe of the decor now that she had the chance to take it in. She then started to answer her question about some of the things she liked. Clouds were apparently pretty high on that list. She also couldn't help but giggle when Cloudy motioned to get when she said dancing.
"Well, we do have the cloud district of Las Pegasus. All the buildings there are made from clouds, and I know they have a lot of Pegasus races up there. They are one of the betting staples up there," she smiled. "As far as what I like, dancing is pretty up they on the list, but my absolute favorite thing to him Equestria is to just see ponies smile and know that I was able to bring them some happiness, even if said happiness is only temporary. At the very least I can say I made their day just a bit brighter than it was. Unfortunately I'm going to have to put some of that on hold soon for a few months while I go through my second and third trimesters," she said with a smile.
Cloudy was still listening even though she was constantly looking around the room, distracted by each sound and light. She grew excited at the idea of seeing the cloud district, and thought it might be fun to watch a race or two. Maybe it'd be like watching a Wonderbolts derby!
She was prepared to give an, "Aww, that's so sweet!" to Windy's remark about making ponies happy, but then her jaw dropped when she finished with the implied news. "You're... You're... Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations!!! That's so exciting for you both! Do you know if it'll be a filly or a colt? Do you have any names in mind? *gasp* Wait, you did that entire dance routine with a foal??? Oh my goodness! You must be exhausted!! I'm so sorry! Here, let's sit down!" And with that, she immediately began searching for a bench or chair for the apparently-pregnant pony to be seated on.
Wind Dancer could see the mares excitement light up when she talked about the cloud district and the races and everything that was there. That would definitely be a stop for them then. What Wind Dancer wasn't prepared for though, was how Cloudy reacted to the news of her being pregnant. She wasn't sure why she wasn't prepared for that, as that had been the general reaction that she had gotten from everypony else that she'd told. She couldn't help but blush a bit from the excitement. "Thank you very much, but that won't be necessary. I'm not far enough along yet to where it's been inhibiting my shows. This was actually a rather tame show of mine because it's indoors. If you want to see a show where I can really go all out, come to the Mareage tomorrow night around 5 pm. My show doesn't start until 7, but trust me, you want to get there early. I've seen ponies waiting in line as early as 3 so they an get a seat right next to the water. I won't be able to push myself like this too much longer though. As you said, I'll have to conserve energy for the little one too," she said with a smile before she realized that she'd forgotten a question in there.
"And to answer the other question, no we don't know what it is yet, and we wanna keep it that way. We want it to be a surprise. We'll start thinking of names when it gets closer to time. I do know that right now we have a wedding that we're also planning, but it won't be until after I've had the foal. I don't want to be a living nightmare for the pony that's making my dress and having to redo the waist because I start to bulge," she giggled. "Now, how about that Cloud District?"
"You're doing another show?? Even more spectacular than that one?? Of course I'll be there!" She pulled out a piece of parchment and scribbled in "Marerage, 3:00" between two other checklist items. "Just please be careful... I've never been expecting, but I can't imagine its easy to pull off stunts like that with a foal around...." Cloudy was certainly no doctor, and admittedly had little knowledge of what it meant to carry a foal, but she still felt concern for the other pegasus. The last thing she wanted was to be a member of the audience for which Windy performed when she inadvertently killed her unborn child! She would feel personally responsible for even buying a ticket!
"How romantic!" Cloudy said aloud as Windy explained the couple's plans for the foal. "I'm sure she or he can't wait to be born to a mama as loving and tender-hearted as you!" She giggled and playfully inspected Windy's sides, then perked up at the mention of the Cloud District. "Oh yes! I'd love to see them! I wonder what kinds of clouds they used to build it! What formulas did they use? What if it's one I've never seen before? That would be so cool! Coming to Los Pegasus and learning about a new architectural cloud formula!" She turned back to Windy (for in her excitement she had lost visual contact with the other mare) excitedly. "Where is this Cloud District??"
Wind Dancer nodded to Cloudy's excitement. "Yeah, I do shows every Sunday night at sundown. Originally the show was just the Mareage's special street-side show with the erupting volcano, but with the addition of the Fire and Ice right here next to it, and the much larger volcano here, we decided to try to spice it up a bit more and we did a performance synchronized with myself and the erupting volcano and it's become one of the biggest shows in Las Pegasus. I go through a series of about 5 different routines so that each week is something different, but still revisiting so that ponies that liked a certain routine can plan on being there for it," Wind finished as she heard Cloudy caution her once again about making sure to take it easy. She was well aware and she heard it from her doctor several times already. Still she appreciated that there were still other ponies in Las Pegasus that would care about such things.
It was Wind's turn to blush a bit though when Cloudy started talking about the romantic aspects and how she was sure that the foal couldn't wait to be born to a mama as loving and tender hearted that she was. she perked up again at the mention of the cloud district and asked what kinds of clouds that they used for the construction.
"Well, they have a lot of Cloud pillars up there and they tried to model the asthetic after Cloudsdale for the most part with the LP twist that everything else has. I believe everything else is standard Cumulus though. Everything else tends to be a bit too unstable for building. They've tried using stratus and cirrus clouds before, but they dissipated quickly and were usually gone within a week," she said before she asked where the cloud district was. "It's right up this way! Follow me!"
When they got up to the Cloud District, it would be exactly as Windy had said. There were still several casinos and attractions on the cloud strip. "Alright, up here is another set of Casinos, the one of note being Hurricane Palace, modeled after the ancient pegasi from the Commander Hurricane Era. It has a lot of the ancient events that they used to do as well, like jousting and gladiatorial competitions. For show of course, no pony is ever actually hurt in these events... Well most of the time. There's always a risk of injury during performances and events like that but they are few and far in between and there are plenty of safety measure in place to try to mitigate some of those. The Races are held at the Las Pegasus Speedway which is right over here," she said leading her towards the track.
Cloudy listened intently as Windy described her routines. They sounded amazing! Nothing like she could ever do... She thought back to her multiple broken bones and wing injuries from being a sub-par flyer. Nope, she definitely could not do the kind of work Windy did! Not in a million years! But she could certainly go watch! And that was exactly what she intended to do! "Wow!! I can't wait to see it!!" Everything about Windy just seemed inviting and friendly. Cloudy was glad that of all the ponies she had bumped into, Wind Dancer had been the one.
Cloudy followed Wind Dancer up until they reached the cloud district, which, in all honesty, was slightly disappointing. She didn't know what she had expected, but it certainly wasn't a carbon copy of home. Sure, there were some aspects that were a little more historical than others, but in all honesty, it just felt like she was back in Cloudsdale. Her spirits scarcely had time to drop, however, before Windy started listing off the attractions that could be found in this neighborhood. Jousting?? Gladiatorial combat?? Those all sounded amazing!! She had, of course, read all about the Com. Hurricane Era in school, but never thought she'd get to witness re-enactments of the entertainment and culture! The speedway now seemed much less exciting. "Did you say jousting?? My friends and I used to play jousting when we were foals! We never got our hands on anything heavier than a cumulonimbus, of course, but wow! I've always wanted to see a real jousting competition!"
Windy smiled a bit as she stopped. She heard Cloudy start talking about the jousting matches. She mentioned that she and her friends used to play jousting all the time, but they never were able to get their home on anything heavier than cumulonimbus though. "That sounds like a blast! Believe it or not, I used to be quite the shut in, and I didn't get to do a lot of that stuff," she said before turning around to her left. "But I'm sure that would have been fun to play! I know they are fun to watch! I've been to a couple of them. They can get pretty exciting. I believe there should be one in a couple hours. If you'd like we can swing by the restaurant in the hurricane palace and then make our way to the Colosseum to catch the matches. I can even get us VIP seats right next to the ring," Wind said with a smile.
Cloudy was overwhelmed with excitement! She must be the luckiest pony in Equestria to be receiving a tour of one of the most famed cities from a showpony like Wind Dancer! "You've gotta be pulling my leg! A showpony as skilled as you? A shut in?? But you're so wonderful! How could ponies not adore you??" Cloudy asked playfully. With Windy's gentle manner, she supposed she could imagine her being shy once upon a time. Of course, she could never imagine her that way now! She was natural onstage! No way would she be able to shut herself in in her line of work! "Jousting is pretty fun, though! Cumulonimbus worked pretty well because you'd get a nice zap if you got struck!" She giggled remembering the electric feeling.
When Windy mentioned VIP seats, Cloudy's spirit exploded. "No. Way!!! You can get VIP tickets!? That's so amazing!! Well, I mean, of course you can! A pony as amazing as you, of course you'd have connections there! But you'd seriously do that for a pony like me!? I mean, we just barely met! I can't believe you're going so far out of your way for me! There has to be a way for me to repay you! Oh! I know! I'll buy your lunch! It's the very least I can do!!"
Wind Dancer nodded at Cloudy when she expressed her disbelief about Windy being a shut it. She talked about how wonderful she was and wondered how ponies could just not adore her. "I wasn't always this skilled. When I was a filly I could barely fly, and young ponies can be cruel so I just stayed home when I wasn't in school," she told her. Nevermind the fancy fact that the drop in skill was from a physical hindrance at the time, but that was then. Windy was most definitely not a shut in now. With everything that she did and all the ponies that looked up to her, she couldn't be. She did know that she would likely become unable to perform shows within the next couple months once again, but this time it was for much happier reasons.
Cloudy then sounded quite surprised when Windy said that she could get them VIP seats for the match. Saying that it was no surprise that she had the connections that she did but that she would use them for her or go as far out of the way for her as she did. "Bah, this isn't out of the way. This is fun! I enjoy meeting new ponies as much as the next pony does. That's the entire reason why we perform. To make other ponies smile, and if we can do that both on and off the stage... Then that makes things even more fun for everyone involved. Besides, who doesn't like making new friends!" She said before a pony approached them from behind.
"Hey Windy!" The voice said as another dark blue pegasus approached. Her main was just as bit lighter than her coat and when she caught up with them her cutie mark would become visible. A wing with the crackle of electricity around it. "Sorry for interrupting. I won't be long. Ice Storm just wanted to make absolutely sure that you were okay with your proceeds going to the medical center. She would have asked you herself but you had already left, and well she's a unicorn. Kinda hard for her to get up here without help."
"Absolutely. It's not as much as I usually donate I know, but I'm sure they have a few patients that could use a few happy endings. We'll be fine until tomorrow night. We just made a guest appearance for the singer tonight to give hey more of an audience and get her name out, all I'm perfectly okay with giving this to the hospital. When you get there tell them more is likely coming tomorrow," Wind Dancer smiled as the other unicorn nodded and then went back down to the Fire and Ice. "Sorry about that. I think lunch sounds good," she said holding the door open for Cloudy, doing so actually reminded her of something from earlier.
"Oh, while I'm remembering it. Please do be careful in these rotating doors. They are not friends of Pegasi and it's very easy and very painful to get your wing stuck in one. No surprise that just used a basic sliding door here," she said with a smile.
Cloudy definitely had a hard time believing that Windy hadn't been a talented flier as a filly, but reserved her comments. "I know I certainly do!" she said in response to Windy's remarks on friendship. She was going to say something else, but hadn't the chance to open her mouth before another pony flew up behind them, calling for Windy by name. Well, so much for that. But it was fun while it lasted! she though, presuming this pony had more important needs which Windy would then need to attend to. She was caught off guard by the pony's actual intentions. Cloudy couldn't believe this pony! Not only was she the sweetest pony to talk to, but she also donated all of her proceeds to charity!? After even this short time knowing her, Cloudy was convinced that Windy was the true Element of Generosity. She decided to withhold any comments on the situation, not wanting to tread on the topic of finances. "Lunch sounds great! Remind me the name of the restaurant?"
As they approached, Cloudy took Windy's advise seriously. She had gotten her wings stuck in all sorts of sticky situations, being an overly-confident flier. "Knowing me, I'd probably get to experience that firsthand without a warning! Hahaha" she said. Cloudy was an above-average flier when she focused, but the focusing was the hard part. Being as scatterbrained as she was, she often overestimated her abilities and landed herself (or rather crash-landed herself) in the least graceful ways. "You'd think in a cloud district they'd use more pegasi-friendly architecture! Not like any unicorns or earth ponies are going to come waltzing up here!"
Wind didn't need to hear Cloudy to get an idea of her reaction. The look on her face was good enough. Although that wasn't why she did things like this. She did it because it was the right thing to do. There were many ponies it there that needed bits a lot more than she did, and she was more than willing to give them to those ponies. When she heard her ask about the name of the restaurant, she smiled.
"The restaurant it's called Spirito di Pegatropolis. In honor of the ancient land that preceded Cloudsdale. Almost everything that they serve is done in the ancient method and is absolutely delicious. They even have a few fish platters from when they started including fish in their diet because of the food shortage caused by the windegoes. Not my thing personally, i think fish has a weird aftertaste... But if the ancient Pegasi did it I figured I'd try it once. I can also see how others would enjoy it, but it's just not my thing. I'll stick with those delicious Hurricane Salads any day," she said with a smile.
When Cloudy commented on the door, saying that she'd probably figured it out the hard way without the warning and thanks her for it. She also said that she would have figured that most of the cloud district up here would have architecture that was more pegasi-friendly. "That is definitely a hard lesson to learn. I learned it myself right after I finished recovering from my last surgery. It got very stick when a pony wasn't paying attention tried blowing through the door. It wasn't the worst pain I had been in, but it was still quite painful. Thankfully it didn't do any lasting damage," she smiled as she lead Cloudy inside and they made their way to the restaurant.
Cloudy crinkled her nose at the mention of fish. What kind of pony would eat fish? She supposed it made sense for malnourished ponies in danger of starvation, but for ponies today to carry on the tradition? It didn't make much sense. It also brought her memories of a seapony who had enlightened her to the fact that fish have thoughts and feelings just like any other animal. She didn't think she could stomach a fish, knowing what she knew now. "I think I'll hold off from the fish for now," she said. "Besides, who'd want a nasty little fish when they serve something that sounds as awesome as a Hurricane Salad??"
As they approached the door, Windy mentioned what sounded like a very painful experience with a revolving door she had. She tucked her wings in tightly as they went through, unfurling them only once they reached the other side. "Oh my goodness! That sounds awful! And right after surgery, too? Did you have to go in for another??" She looked concernedly at her own wings, thinking of what might have happened if she'd been more careless. She dared a poke towards the door with her wingtip and yelped slightly when it plucked a feather as it made its rounds. It didn't hurt, but it certainly startled her. "I see why you're afraid of those!" she said, backing away from it.
~~~Wind Dancer~~~

Wind Dancer shook her heard when Cloudy asked her if she's had to go back in after getting her wing stuck. "It did require some stitches but it didn't aggravate anything or cause the injury that they had just repaired to relapse. I'm not sure I would have been able to handle that news again. To finally get the chance to live my dreams only to be told that everything that has been fixed had been undone. At the he very least I knew it was no where near that bad once the adrenaline left and everything calmed down," she said as she watched Cloudy test her claim. She heard her yelp as the door took off a feather. She then said she understood why she was scared of them. "I wouldn't say scared, just wary and extra careful around them," she smile.

"And I one hundred percent agree. Most of the creatures that get the fish dishes anymore are griffons anyway. I just tried it once because I wanted a bit of the authentic culture. Not something I plan on doing again. The Hurricane Salad isn't even the best thing that they have on the menu though. It's their strawberry silk pie! That thing is an explosion of delicious," she giggled as they made their way towards the restaurant, following the smells.

Cloudy gave a sympathetic expression. "I'm super relieved to hear that. That sounds awful! I'm glad you got to live your dreams, though! If you hadn't, I wouldn't have gotten to see that spectacular performance!!"

Cloudy was glad to hear she wasn't the only one who found distaste at the idea of eating fish. She perked up at the mention of pie, though. "Strawberry. Silk. Pie??? Three of the most delicious sounding words combined into one meal?? Oh my goodness, that sounds amazing!! I can't wait to try it!" She trotted gleefully, following Windy's lead to the restaurant.
