Wind was happy to hear that Sky liked the idea of having the wedding in the park. He added that they would have to be careful though or it would turn into a much bigger wedding than they wanted it to. He also felt like using the park might be monopolizing it a bit. "It would kind of be, but it's not really any different than somepony using a ballroom for a wedding, or when they sell out the entire strip for a show. As far as it turning into a much larger crowd than we want, that's going to happen regardless of where we are. We're both celebrities, and that alone attracts a lot of attention. And the word is already out there," she said leaning in and giving him a kiss on his cheek. "We didn't exactly keep our proposals a secret from the world," she added with a giggled.

When he mentioned that he would trust her judgement on Icy, she nodded. "I wouldn't say that I've known her longer really. She's only been in Las Pegasus for a couple years. I am curious to know what she's doing though," she said. She felt another couple of kicks and had to adjust a bit before snuggling into Sky and letting the sunlight wash over her. "That's for another time though. For now, laying here with you is perfect," she added with a smile.

"So we are."  Sky replied, still bemused to his celebrity status.  It was just as well they were being left alone, or else the hidden cameras weren't using their flash.  He supposed they'd find out if their picture appeared in the tabloids.  As nosy at that would have seemed, it wasn't as if Sky was ashamed of his affection being so broadcast.  After all, like Windy said, their proposal had been about as public as you could get without literally staging it in Manehattan's Maredison Square Garden.

Snuggling together while they could, Sky enjoyed the time together in relative quiet, starting to hum a little tune that would turn into a song someday.  Something about companionable silence, the lack of need of any words when with the one you love.  Odd to write words about not needing words, but no one ever said the life of the lyricist was devoid of irony.

More times than not, when you were in the company of a pony that you loved, words were almost never needed. That was the case right now with Wind Dancer. She curled herself under his wing, and listened to the song that he was humming, occasionally echoing and harmonizing the rhythm a bit. She felt herself relax even more and with the warmth of the sun, and the coziness that was the wing of the pony that she would commit crimes of atrocity for if needed, she felt the safest she'd ever been and she couldn't help but push in a bit more and rest her head on his hooves, falling asleep for a short nap.

For a while, Sky Sailing just sat with his fiancee, letting her sleep, guarding her nap against the occasional fan that stopped by.  Almost all passers by remarked on how cute the scene was, and he had to agree!  All things must end eventually, however, as the baby within would finish their nap.  Therefore, Windy had to finish hers, as the activity spurred her awake.

"I think you've got a future dancer in there."  Sky chuckled.  "Certainly has the energy for it.  How much do you have, dear?  Because I was thinking I would like to take you out to a show if you feel up to it."

Wind Dancer didn't really know how long that she had fallen asleep for, but she knew when it was time to wake up. Or rather, the foal inside of her knew when she should wake up. She was never aware of the passer-biers herself, but she was sure that being an open park, there were plenty that spied them and tried to fancy a moment with them. No doubt just as many taking pictures with them in the background, but she didn't mind that. With a few more kicks, she was brought into the forefront, and the light in the sky was now well past what it was when they came to the park. She would jester to say that it was about mid-afternoon at this point. She would start to stir and nuzzle under Sky's head as he spoke, saying that there was a future dancer in there, and that they certainly had the energy for it. "That ain't no joke, sometimes a little bit too much energy," she said with a giggle before hearing Sky's proposition.

"You know, I think that is a wonderful idea. Especially since I can't perform myself right now, it would be in good taste to help support other upcoming artists by attending some of their shows. Plus it probably wouldn't hurt to stop by the Mareage and let everypony there know that I'm still alive," Wind said with a giggle. "What kind of show are you thinking tonight? Magic, music, Theater?" she inquired.

"I hadn't given any particular thought.  Let's just see what's on the marquee, and what tickets are left.  Though, there probably should be tickets left; I've never yet seen the Mareage have to turn away any audience member, though a few shows have had standing room."  He offered his hoof again to escort her down the street.  "I dunno if you'd be OK with standing for the duration of a show right now.  But we'll see if any posters catch our eye on the way."

Wind Dancer smiled with Sky's suggestion of walking around and seeing what was on the Marquee. He said that they should see what tickets for events are left and then head from there. He also added that he couldn't ever remember The Mareage turning away audience members, though a few shows were standing room only. "Oh, you mean like ours? At least, when I'm able to anyway," she smiled with a nuzzle. "But I agree. It's been a bit since I've been able to visit some of the venues. We should see what they have and what sounds interesting to the three of us," she smiled holding her tummy.

As the pair of them walked down the street, Sky Sailing saw something rather unfamiliar on the Marquee:

EWF Presents:

Showdown on the Strip!

Flying Brick vs. The Bootleg Baron

The Ponies' Pugilist faces down the Mafia Masters

The sign was so eye-catching as to be un-ignorable, but there was a style to it that also make it almost a work of art in and of itself.  In a combination of Art Deco and Stalliongrad poster art, it depicted a mare with defined musculature in the clothes of a working-class stalliongrad mare at the head of a mob, facing up against... well, the Mob.  Pinstripe suits and trilbies included.

Sky had never shown much interest in professional wrestling before; a pacifist by nature, the show pugilism of the ring saw little appeal for him.  But this... this just seemed too serendipitous.  Somepony here was really caring about how it looked, and really, this looked to be much more interesting than a mere slugfest.  "I've... never been to an EWF show before, have you Windy?"

The display on the sign as they were walking by for the EWF was very bright and bombastic. It looked like the very definition of a smoke and mirrors, but at the same time she did find herself intrigued about it. Sky pointed it out to her, and normally she might have suggested something else, but after a recentish encounter going to a jousting tournament with Cloudy when she was showing her the city a few months ago, she found herself rather enjoying such events. Naturally she wasn't want for seeing a pony get hurt by any means, but entertainment was just that. She was certain that just like at the jousting matches up in the cloud district, this would be heavily regulated and precautions taken to make sure that everything is safe. Well as safe as actual fighting can be.

"I haven't been to an EWF match before, but I have been to one of the Jousting Tournaments up in the Cloud District. I went with a pony that literally bumped into me after we did that show at Icy's a few months ago. I would have invited you to come with us, but I knew that you were working with a client that Golden had gotten for you after the show, so I didn't want to interrupt that," Wind stated. "That said, I found the jousting enjoyable, and while the thought of two ponies hurting each other doesn't interest me in the slightest, a regulated wrestling match meant for entertainment might be something that I can get behind. Plus, if we don't like it, we can always go see another show. It's not like the strip is lacking for them," she smiled.

A jousting tournament?  Sky Sailing would certainly not have expected that, but it certainly did increase his curiosity about what sort of things happened there.  "I guess there's something inherently interesting about any kind of contest.  Still don't know if I'd like it, but... well, it would be rude to blow something off without trying it, right?"  That decided it, the stallion took his place in the line to get tickets.  Looking around, he could see that the audience was mostly, but not exclusively, stallions and colts, many of the former obviously being the fathers of the latter.  It seemed to be something of a family affair, which made him slightly more confident that he would enjoy himself.

"So who was that fan?"  He asked, as the line crept up to the ticket stall.  "I would have liked to meet her, and I suspect she'll come around to this city again."
