Roleplay Type: WoE
Name: Flow
Gender: Female
Age: Mare
Species: Kelpie (as portrayed in the Season 10 IDW comics)
Eye colour: light blue (#22ccff). Her pupils are white and her eyeballs are black
Coat: watery blue (#0066ff or something similar) swirly stripes of dark blue (#000099)
Mane/Tail: same color as her stripes, but with some streaks of lighter blue in it. It is in a constant state of watery motion, swirling like curls as it tapers off, giving it a curled look (think similar to Apple Bumpkin)
Physique: Pretty standard pony physique, but always wet. Her legs features are sharper, with thin areas being thinner than in most ponies, making her hooves look a little larger than they are. She is perpetually standing in puddles and soaking wet.
Residence: She was born in a village in Farsi, but moved to Fillydelphia to become a firefighter
Occupation: Emergency responder
Cutie Mark: A fire-hydrant
Unique Traits: Flow can bend and shape her body like water, though she cannot change states. She can also separate, fuse, and regrow limbs at will, provided she is hydrated enough to replenish them. She uses this ability to dowse fires, literally shooting her arms or legs like a fire hose into the flames. She requires frequent quenching of thirst as her body evaporates with time. When she is getting low, she begins to look sickly and thin. She also gets very tired. Her job takes a lot out of her, but she loves the idea of saving lives. She has a unique edge in firefighting because unlike a firehose, she can move her streams to target flames, thus using less water.

As part of her firefighting training, she does have first aid experience. She is by no means a doctor, but she knows about as much as your average EMT.

History: Growing up in Farsi, it took Flow longer than her friends to get her cutie mark. She was a water creature obsessed with fire, and her parents urged her explore more interests. After all, there just wasn't much use for a kelpie whose only job was to build fires. Anypony could do that. However, when one of her mother's new recipes went horribly wrong and she was able to quickly prevent a grease fire from destroying their house (without using her water abilities, ironically), they understood. Her talent wasn't building fires, it was putting them out. She received her cutie mark that night.

As she grew older, however, it became apparent that her tiny village had no need for a kelpie who dowsed fires. There were no explosions or lightning strikes, no kitchen disasters, no... anything, really. That didn't stop her, however. She read books on firefighting and different methods used to extinguish different fires. Chemical fires, for instance, required more finesse than house fires. Some fires would be too hot for her to dowse with her own abilities. She also found that firefighters had to have knowledge in first aid in case they had to rescue someone. There, she found a niche in a larger village. After becoming an EMT, she was able to work with the local hospital as a first responder. She even got to put out a fire or two. But the village was small nonetheless, and she found it grew tiresome.

When trade began between Equestria and Farsi, Flow was on one of the first boats to the pony kingdom. She set down roots in the first large city she arrived in, quickly acquiring a job at the fire station, where she has remained ever since, a valuable member of the team.

Character Personality: Flow is positive and cheerful. She isn't super energetic, but she is fun and charismatic. Though she doesn't go out of her way to meet new ponies, she's not opposed to new ponies meeting her. She often uses her water abilities to comfort distressed ponies on the job, performing magic-show like tricks to cheer them, such as taking off her limbs and reattaching them, making her limbs fatter, etc. When she isn't working, she is usually in her apartment or with her friends. She is currently single but is looking for a partner. None of her co-workers are interested in her, so she has been going on blind dates at her friends' recommendations lately. She doesn't like it, but at this point she's starting to feel desperate.

She also loves adventure, which is part of the reason she enjoys her job so much. The riskier the better!
Character Summary: Flow is a positive and fun pony who loves adventure and danger. She uses her abilities as a kelpie to save lives fighting fires in Fillydelphia. Though she is single, she is on the lookout for a partner, tired of coming home every night to an empty apartment. She's given up on that partner being Farasian, though that was initially a priority. Now she's willing to give just about anyone a chance. She enjoys spending time with friends and dowsing fires.
