~~~Wind Dancer~~~
Wind Dancer could only roll her eyes at Sky before smirking and giving him a little bump with her flank. Now that they were officially married, she imagined that she had a wild night in store for her for the private consummation party that would be for the two of them. Though that did remind her that they would need to confirm that their parents were watching Glimmer tonight. The couldn't really engage in those kinds of activities with a little one present. Sure she wouldn't know what any of that stuff was, but sure enough every time they got warmed up Glimmer would start crying for something. That wasn't going to be important for a few hours though, but she couldn't say that she wasn't looking forward to it.
It was about that time that Sky's mom came over to them with Candy and Golden Bit. "Candy! Golden! Great to see you two! Glad you were able to make it out Candy! Hopefully it wasn't too short notice, I know it can take some time to get mail from here to Ponyville," she said with a smile before Scarlett mentioned it being almost time for the dances, and that Sky and Windy were up first. Wind Dancer smiled and gave a nod as Sky confirmed and mentioned them doing a special thing for the dance tonight. She didn't have much else to add, so she followed him out onto the dance floor, leaning in and giving him a kiss before they got started. "Thank you," she said in a whisper in his ear "For making me the happiest mare alive, and making this the happiest moment in my life," she smiled, leaning her head against his shoulders while they danced to the song that they sang.
~~~Ice Storm~~~

Ice Storm chuckled before giving the night alicorn a nod. "Running the casino, being the commanding of a paramilitary operation that turned into a fully funded and functioning branch of the Equestrian Military, both of which are way more hectic that a standard security detail. This makes me feel like I'm at the palace on patrol again," she responded. She gave another snirk when Luna mentioned to not mention the cake to Celestia. That they didn't need her crashing weddings for cake before Luna said that she was bowing out, not wanting to up stage the newlyweds. "I'll catch up with you when I get home," she finished.

After Luna teleported out, Ice sighed. So far everything seemed to be working just as planned, and there wasn't much a need for her security services at the moment. She hoped that things would stay that way for now as she settled down at the table and she started eating her salad. There wasn't a lot for her to do at the moment other than just enjoy the harmony in front of her. It gave her a sense of pride to know that she was part of what was responsible for allowing ponies to be like this. To be happy, carefree, and the only worry that they have is where and when their next show is coming. Not that Wind and Sky weren't friends, but it did feel a tad bit lonely here for her since Myth and Raven both were busy in the lab. They were close to perfecting the prosthetic horns. She just knew it. Still, she wished that they would take a break now and then to enjoy some of the smaller things in life. "Soon girls, this will be us soon."

~~~Golden Bit~~~
Golden Bit listened as Candy started regailing her with her own family's story after she finished explaining hers. After hearing Candy explain what happened with her and her mom, and that her dad was essentially a playcolt that would make ponies single parents... it honestly wasn't much better than what Golden Hoof was doing honestly. Though technically it was still better. True the mother may not have always been able to optimumly support the child, but there was a child, and that family was just that. It was family, and it stayed together. She felt her heart warm a bit when Candy talked about Pop Corn taking her in along with her mom. She actually said that was the reason that she had originally came to Las Pegasus to begin with. To try to find her actual father, but she found Windy instead and it just made her world all the better for it. Golden smiled, before hearing what Scarlett added about family. Sometimes you have to look for it, and other times it's with you the whole time.
"Yeah, Wind Dancer's always had a way of making ponies smile, and winning over their feelings. I can still remember the first time I saw her dancing. It was right here in this very park actually. It's kind of fitting that both of her life changing events happened in this one park. Well, two of her three life changing events, but definitely both of her good ones. She was doing a small skit to a short Betthooven song, and she was one of the most graceful dancers I'd ever seen. I sat and watched her for at least a good hour, watching her go through different songs, but I could very clearly tell that she was in pain, but she was pressing on, and I could also tell that she wasn't getting more than a few feet off the ground.  For a pegasi, that was a bit uncommon, especially since she was still generating wind. I walked up to her and started talking with her. We talked for a while and she was by far one of the nicest ponies I had met in Las Pegasus at that point. She wasn't trying to haggle, or do much. She was just doing what she loved to do, even if she couldn't do it as well as she would have liked to. After I found out what happened to her, I knew that I had to make things right for her. So I made sure that we got the best doctors available, and I completely covered all of the costs to repair the damage to her wing that kept her from being able to properly use it. Now, the mare is like the daughter I never had, and it makes me happy to be able to watch how far she's come in such a short time after. You truly have an amazing friend that will go to the ends of Equestria for you, so as long as you treat her right," Golden smiled, looking back to Candy. She then found herself going silent as the dancing started, finding herself content to sit back, relax, and just watch for now.
Candy smiled and hugged Windy's mom when was introduced. "I wouldn't have missed this if I had to walk here." She said with a smile. "You truly can get anything in Las Pegasus, though being friends with the famous bride helps." Looking back to Bit, she'd smile and nod at the words she said about her best friend. "I'm glad both yinz took good care of Windy. Now we gotta make sure that Sky dose as wel-" before she began to chuckle. "He'll take the best care of anypony took of anypony in the history of Equestria."
As Wind and Sky began their dance, Candy would watch beaming from ear to ear. Soon a tear drop would begin to form in her eye. "Snif- I didn't think you could smile and cry at the same time," she whispered just loud enough for Golden and Scarlett to hear.
This wasn't the first time that Scarlett had heard the story of how Golden Bit and Wind Dancer had met, but until now she'd always only heard it from Windy's perspective.  It was good to know that the goodness the younger mare perceived was assuredly demonstrated in the heart of the older patron.  As the bride's mother joined their little gaggle to fawn over the dancing of their all-grown-up foals, she spared a wing to give Candy a little handkerchief.  "It's alright.  Beautiful things can do that to a pony."  She said, aglow with maternal wisdom and emotion.
The song and dance concluded, to the applause of the spectating audience.  Each of them bowed to the reception in turn, before Sky winged his way over to his mother.  "We're next on the docket, after which is Windy and her father.  Sound alright?"
"Of course, son.  I've waited a long time for this moment... but please, not too sappy, alright?  My poor heart couldn't take it."
Sky did in fact have something more upbeat planned for this dance, at least in it's thumping drums that beat almost something like a country dance.  But the lyrics themselves were heartfelt expressions of a love for one's mother, that all the ponies around began to stomp their hooves to, and even a few join along to the chorus:
"She asked me son when I grow old,
Will you buy me a house of gold?
And when your father turns to stone,
Will you take care of me?
I will make you queen of everything you see!
I'll put you on the map, I'll cure you of disease!"
