Works at Mr. Cocoa's Candy CreationsCutie Mark: A round candy in a pink wrapper. Represents her talent for making candy. History:Sweet Surprise always seemed to have a sweet tooth and an ever sweeter personality. Her first word was in fact "candy," although she never had one yet at that time. At the bite of her first candy, she fell instantly in love and would test out different candies to see which she liked the best. Her parents, however, did not approve of her liking candy. They felt it was a waste of time and that candy was bad for a pony's health. They would often throw away any candy and forbid her from going even near a candy store. Secretly, however, she would buy candy and go to local candy stores in Manehattan to learn how to make candy. At last she knew her calling: to make and sell candy, which she got on advice from the owner of a shop she frequented in Manehattan. This in turn produced her cutie mark and gave her the inspiration to work at a store. Her parents realized upon seeing her mark that there was no use in persuading her against making candy. Swet Surprise then set off from manehattan to Canterlot to work at Mr. Cocoa's Candy Creations where she has been today making new candies and having fun. Character Summary: To say that Sweet is happy is an understatement. She seemed to be on a permanent hyperactive sugar high and doesn't seem to slow down, always running around. She is sweet, kind, generous, optimistic, and sometimes a little strange. When she gets excited, especially when talking about candy, her speech will go into a super fast form that some ponies may have trouble understanding. She has a great talent for creating candies, raising it to an art form She does get catatonic if she is yelled at or made fun of to a very extreme degree (think Pinkie pie from Party of one). This results in her isolating herself from everypony, rarely talking, and losing interest in things she loves like candy making. Basically it's the opposite of her normal hyperactive self. It takes her some time to recover from this state.Sweet Surprise is motivated by spreading her joy of candy to other ponies and making new friends along the way. Eventually she wants to own her own candy shop and deliver candy to most if not all of Equestria. Sweet Surprise has a grea Talents: Apart from her high energy and friendly personality, Sweet is very talented at creating candies and chocolates, constantly experimenting with new flavors. Fortunately with the help of his family and friends he was able to open up his shop where he has been selling sweet treats ever since. But the happiest day of his life was when he met Mrs. Cocoa, a pony who equally loved making candies. The two were married and tried to have children, but were unable to do so. Nevertheless they devoted their lives to making other children happy with their candies. It was almost as if every foal that wandered into the shop was treated like their own child.Sadly, Mrs. Cocoa passed away, leaving Mr. Cocoa distraught. He was thinking about closing down his store due to the painful memories when he met Sweet Surprise, a pony who shared an equal love of candy to him and his wife. This gave him new inspiration. He decided not to close down the store but to teach Sweet Surprise. He even had Sweet live in a room above the shop that was intended for a child they never had. Although Mr. Cocoa would never admit it, he somehow sees Sweet Surprise as the daughter he never was able to have. Sweet's Nightmare Despite her seemingly happy life, Sweet Surprise always had a fear that ponies would not appreciate her or her talents or worse only like her for her talents. This played out in a dream where she imagined hosting a party and having nopony come. This manifested in Sweet creating an alternate personality who encouraged the mare to be cold to others as all were interested in only what she made and not who she was. With the help of Princess Luna she learned to confront her fear and banish her negative self making her feel more confident in making friends and who she was.
