Role-play Type: Mane RP

Name: Steamy Do (Sometimes referred to as Baby Face)

Sex: Male

Age: Colt

Species: Pegasus

Eye Color: Azure blue

Coat Color: Light brown

Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: His mane and tail are a very standard yellow. He has a single braid pinned together with a small silver cylinder. He also sports two odd looking feathers in his mane. One a rainbow colored feather and the other, a light brown.

Physique: He has the physique of a standard colt, but looking closely at his face you can see he has the face of a cute, new born baby foal.

Cutie Mark: None

Origin/Residence: He's currently living in Hoofington, but he was born in Ponyville while his family was traveling the country on a sight seeing tour.

Occupation: Steamy Do is a steam engineer and part of the time works helping his parents aboard their airship: Ales Via. He helps with a multitude of chores, from swabbing the deck, to cooking, maintenance of the steam engine, and more. He's quite a well rounded pony.

Motivation: Steamy Do is motivated by his thirst for knowledge and love for steam based technology. He loves the smell of the evaporated water as he works with different cogs and levers to create the next life changing piece of machinery.

Likes: Flying and giving tours on his air ship, sweets especially sugar sticks, hanging out with the regulars at the Hoofington bar.

Dislikes: When ponies don't pay attention to him while he's talking, when ponies try and trick him, things that are to straight forward (he prefers to try and figure things out). His largest pet peeve is when some one calls him shrimp., due to his small stature and "baby face" like looks.

Character Summary:

History – Steamy is the son of two famous adventures. He never had a legitimate education and was home schooled while the trio family traveled from place to place in there air ship, the Ales Via.

Parents – It quite obvious to see where Steamy gets his adventurous streak from! His parents for a majority of their adult and child lives were adventures themselves. Both of Steamy Do's parents are Earth ponies. His mother, Rolly Thundermane and father, Flint Ironstag knew each other since they were little foals and have been adventuring together ever since. Its not surprise that they're child would join their adventures. Once Steamy was born the two settled down on their adventurous streak, but still moving around quite a bit.

Cutie Mark Story - He doesn't have a cutie mark yet, but little by little he feels he getting ever closer to it! Its not his first priority like some ponies.

Flaws – His personality is is practically his biggest flaw. He's dorky, sometimes going overboard when talking about the rather complex nature of his steam works with other ponies. He's completely oblivious to the feelings of other whether on purpose or accident, that is unknown. He expects everyone to be as steely in the feeling department as him. He doesn't make emotional attachments with ponies very easily, knowing that he may have to leave on his travels sooner or later, nor does he think about how others may react to what he says, which makes it hard for others to try and get close to him.

Personality - Dorky, loud, and possibly the most cocky colt you will ever have the pleasure to lay your eyes on. He's a dork in the sense that everything is an invention to him. The clothes on a pony's back, a building, a train, everything. He loves to tinker with the bits and pieces that make up the world around him. He's an inventor and his style of dress greatly reflects that as well as his personality. He can be fickle at times his interest in technologies constantly changing, but still related to steam. Its safe to say that he's one to judge, if a pony doesn't meet his expectations (which are known to only him) he can sometimes (and most likely will) not be to happy about becoming friends! He's cocky about his skills as an engineer which can some times put off other ponies from wanting to become friends with him, but he has a reason for such outlandish behavior that he prefers to keep secret from other ponies.

Well I can see no issues with him living his life mainly aboard an airship, my one question though is his occupation where it says he captains the ship (at least part of the time). That seems a bit far-fetched for a pre-cutie mark young colt to do, especially given that there are adults aboard (at least his parents). I can see being a captain as an ambition for the colt, but actually running of a ship may be a bit too much, especially if he hasn't figured out his special talent yet (doesn't mean he can't have *any* job on the ship though).
