Star couldn't help but smile at the two little foals, they were just too cute! "Ok this first one is pretty simple but it keeps your reflexes sharp and you can go as fast or as slow as you need to! zig zag through trees, the straighter the line of trees the better. Go only as fast as you can while still being totally in control, this one isn't so much about speed as it is coordination but you'll go faster and faster as you practice! And Starlight you can do this one on the ground, I'll do it with you if you want" She said smiling to the little pegsaus, practice on the ground would be good for him. She looked around and saw a nice not quite a line of trees that would be good for this. "We're going to use those trees over there" With that she started to head over hoping the two little ones would follow her.

Watching the adult who would be their teacher for the day, or for as long as the mare would have them both and Starlight felt a brimming of excitement that had the foal's tiny tail ticking away like some excited metronome before Lucky put up a very important question. Technically he couldn't see -well-...but he could still see...kind of. Smiling he nodded towards the filly, that jostled his helm slightly, the straps that would still be too loose if they were attached flapping like a beagle's ears before he followed after Star Chaser.

Zig zagging through trees sounded like a good practice, but on the ground? His brow furrowed weakly, good practice or not he wished he could've used his wings. Staring up at the trees and their accusingly ridiculous height he still followed in high spirits and looked over the line.

He then glanced curiously up at Star Chaser, to see what they'd have to do next.

Lucky pumped her wings to hover in midair as she followed the others towards the trees. But after only a couple of seconds, she grounded herself. The young foal just didn't have the strength to stay in the air for very long. How am I going to pull this off? she thought, slightly worried. Even though Star Chaser was incredibly kind, it still made Lucky nervous that she was performing in the presence of a Wonderbolt. Starlight made her nervous too; she didn't want to fail miserably in front of one of her peers. Lucky shook a little due to her nerves. She tried not to let it bother her, but it did, and her enthusiasm wasn't as great as it was a minute ago.

The young pegasus followed Star Chaseron the ground, in order to catch her breath in preparation for the trick she was about to attempt.

Looking over at Lucky, Star realized that it might be better for both of them to just zig zag through the trees on the ground with her. Not wanting to embarrass the little foal she said "Hey Lucky I'm sorry I forgot, for this training it's better if everypony starts just jogging... since it's more about coordination anyway". It was easy to see that Lucky was too tired to fly very much, but because the little pegasus pulled off that last trick without looking tired Star just assumed Lucky had more stamina. She looked back at the two little ones and said "Follow me!" with a smile and started jogging through the trees in a zig zag. Star wasn't going very fast at all because if she actually tried she'd leave the two of them far behind, so she kept a slow pace that she thought would have the two foals right behind her.

Helmet readied. Tail twirling away. He stomped his tiny feet as he prepared himself before watching as the adult jogged off at an easy pace and for a moment he froze up...was he supposed to go? He thought he was suppose to go...yeah he'd better go. Scrambling the little foal scampered after Star Chaser with a lopey little run, so small his feet were so close together so he had to run quite speedily.

Looking more like a puppy being coaxed on by a treat.

He wanted to fly. he really did. And if this helped he was gonna put everything that he was into doing this, his little wings flapping softly as he ran behind Star Chaser.

Lucky Breeze internally let out a sigh of relief; she figured that the trick couldn't be too hard to pull off on the ground, but she knew she'd have difficulty with it in midair. Besides, she didn't want to be insensitive; it almost didn't seem fair that she could fly and the other ponies couldn't.

As Star Chaser asked the foals to follow her, Lucky picked up her hooves and pursued the Wonderbolt. She didn't have any trouble keeping up, but the manuevers were a little difficult for her. She slowed down a little to keep pace with Star Chaser not too far behind. When she was sure she had the hang of it, Lucky looked over her shoulder at Starlight. Seeing the foal trying so hard to keep up and flapping his wings as fast as he could, it put a smile on her face. She remembered that stage in her life; of course, she was quite a bit younger then...

Not paying attention to the obstacles in front of her, Lucky stumbled a little, but quickly regained her balance. She figured that it was probably best if she kept her concentration completely on the trick, but it worried her that Starlight wouldn't be able to keep up, with his awkward way of galloping. So she slowed her speed a little to let the young foal catch up. It also made the maneuvers much easier for Lucky. At least she was getting some practice in this department; she used to think flying was all about speed, but learning with a Wonderbolt as a mentor showed that coordination was just as important.
