It looked like a win was going to be tough, as his strength lay in endurance, something that wasn't very useful in such a short race.He was proven correct as he watched the other pony begin to gain the lead. Still, that was no reason to give up, and the two pegasi above him helped him push onward.Page looked at the path ahead. They were fast coming up to the part of the pathway that traveled down a nice downhill slope. Page quickly reviewed he situation in his head. He had the advantage of living with a wagon behind him, so maybe a few tricks could come in handy. Page wasn't going to resort to anything dirty, but if he could cut down on his opponents lead, then he would be able to use the gravity of the cart for the downhill run. Carts were hard to control at high speeds, especially ones with such a high center of gravity due to all the snow. Hopefully the extra boost provided by the gravity would be able to cause the green pony some trouble.
