He was low enough to be within earshot, but far enough so he didn't take the heads of passerby's. Furled out the springy, bouncy chimeric puzzle of creatures held a comic in paw, leisurely reading. From the pink, puffy cloud the occasional marshmallow would pop from its pink fluff, whenever his tail would beat against it. It had left quite the trail, a lovely mess for another to come upon. Beyond that he was on his leisure day so had no reason to actually do anything besides letting the wind drag him along. It was not until an unquestionable clamor of noisy ponies filled his folded ears, the crimps of flesh twitching against the offending commotion. And it had been such a quiet day too. A spirit of Chaos he may be but he did enjoy the rare downtime. Books didn't read or eat themselves. Having been lying on his back he would have to move to look at what was below. Rolling his dual colored eyes he would lean to pop his head through the cloud to see quite the rabble below. Ho, ho, what was this? His curiosity was piqued. Popping off his cloud he would appear down below. What madness was this? What was everypony on a line for? Were they waiting for? The spirit was no sheep... but perhaps there was something interesting at the very end. Looking to the left than to the right he would lower to a levitating float nearer the ground so he was a bit more level with what was going on. He leaned back and opened his paw, summoning his comic back to his grip. "Well.. this is riveting." He drifted along, almost automatically, and waited to see what in the hay was going on up ahead. tacobob Posted January 21, 2017 Report Share Posted January 21, 2017 Frazzlin dadgummit! The line sure moved awfully quick! Fast Track nearly leaped out out of little horse-shoes. After scooping out the right amount of bits from a pouch, he managed to blurt out as he face turned a dark shade of red, "If you got any Honeycrisps, I'll take that.", he had planned to make some fun candy apples with his friends. They managed to snag all the correct ingredients from Sugar Cube Corner, with the exception of the best apples in the world. "L-lady Applejack.", he scooted up close so he would whisper into her ears, "You're super pretty and all, but I was w-wondering if I could give my kiss to your sis....", he asked, "She's the same age as me and she's really cute...But if you don't want to, I can still get a kiss from you, or do I give you a kiss..I sort of forgot the rules.", he squeaked. Applejack wasn't sure why ponies got all tongue tied and twittered when they were around pretty mares or stallions, colts or fillies, age and preferences allowed. Equestria was a land full of beauty and wonder and why shouldn't that drip on down into the smiling facades of her generous and friendly citizens? Of course she had to admit to a little bit of a drum beat of her heart around certain ponies but she tried to never allow herself to let it show. Honestly, she looked at it as a bit disrespectful to all involved if she did that. Didn't hold others to that same standard, as Applejack had to try and be a spokesmare and symbol even if it rubbed her the wrong way sometimes. That was the beauty of youth, being able to make a fool of yourself and it still be charming. “Well of course we have Honeycrisps Sugarcube! One nice ol' bushel comin' right on out for ya,” she said excitedly, pulling out the basket and opening up the apple partition that kept the various apple types separate. She pulled out Honeycrisps by the hooffull and started stuffing the bushel full. She was gonna make sure everypony got their fair share and as the day drew long her apples were getting in shorter supply, but she'd be darned if she gave anypony less than they deserved for five bits. But that was not all. He didn't want a kiss from Applejack. That was fine, her lips could still use a break. Instead it was time for another Apple to pull her weight. “Aww, she is a cutie, ain't she? Of course ya can get a kiss from her! Hey, Apple Bloom! This little fella wants ta get a smooch from ya!” Apple Bloom's head snapped over to the stand. She had been busy makin' her calls to ensure that each and every pony in Equestria was told of this historically important event. But she figured it was only right for her to end that and get to helping the booth all proper like. She trotted on over. “He wants a what now?” “He wants ta get his case from you,” Applejack responded as she collected the bits and put the bushel on the counter. Yep, it was the right amount. Apple Bloom looked at Fast Track and smiled. “Well, that sounds like it'd be a good idea! Ah'm ready when you are!” She said excitedly, readying herself for what was sure to be a might smack on the lips or cheeks or wherever. It was automatic, instinctual, the movement of the herd carrying them like the drumline carries a song. The musician Sky Sailing had been carried along by this tide unthinkingly, lost in his own head and humming inaudible notes, until his hoof stumbled, jolting his mental record needle off its groove into a sudden moment of clarity. He blinked, momentarily unsure whether he'd woken up in, or out of, a dream. "Apples." The sky-blue pegasus said, as if he had never heard of such a fruit before, and had just been introduced to it. From this point in the line, the smell of apples from all the bushels for sale hung in the air like ambient noise. The atmosphere was something completely new for the former sky-dweller, too unfamiliar to be real, but too vivid to not be actual. He would one day write a song about this, but his creative processes were stilled for now under the weight of sensation and wonder alone. It lasted for a minute, but then his wings got a little restless. He shook them off, breaking the spell as he looked back over his shoulder to see who else was in line- Was that a draconeqqus? The wonder returned in almost all its glory. "Chaotic apples... fruits of anarchy... there's the phrase, but are apples grown chaotically?" The creative process, when said aloud, is usually uninspiring nonsense, if it isn't dull minutiae. Big Sister had no problems with his switched smooch, nor did Little Sister. He assumed the elder Apple pony would have just laughed it off, gave him a quick peck on the cheek and sent him away with his apples. But nope. She had given her full permission to do the deed. Holy Socks! He knew he was blushing now. Like a Five Alarm. His skin must be burning up. He was not even annoyed a being called a little fella'. He turned to Fire Walker for advice. “Um.” The red mare managed to stifle a chuckle. This was serious business for the colt! She could not dare laugh in his face. That would be disastrous to whatever confidence he had left. She hand to stand tall. She had to walk hard! “Well, first.”, she whispered, “You might want to take a few breaths before you pass out. Also, you’ll be kissing her cheek. Right or left, it doesn’t matter. Lips are for older ponies who really like each other. So none of that, or Miss Jack might think you’re a tree meant for buck’n.” The colt did as he was asked and turned to face the filly. While still a bit on the red side, he quickly made his way towards Apple Bloom and got up real close. She did smell really good! Sort of like an Apple Cobbler with extra cinnamon! SteelEagle Posted January 29, 2017 Report Share Posted January 29, 2017 Apple Bloom waited a bit for the shy colt to lay a peck on her cheek but he eventually didn't disappoint, the little fella going in all sorts of slow and simple. She had to withhold a bit of a chuckle at how out of sorts this fella was. It was just a little kiss, why be all hung up on it? He'd be kissin' lots of mares and stallions when he was older. Better get experienced now! He delivered on his end, so Apple Bloom made sure to deliver on her part. She pulled him in close after he did the kiss and she laid a wet one right on his cheek, accompanied by a strong hug. "Thanks for comin' ta tha First Annual Apple Kiss! Hope ya had fun, and have even more fun eatin' all tha awesome apples! Yay!" She reared up excitedly after she patted him on the back, trotting back to what she was doing before. Applejack didn't much watch the kiss as she was busy mentally going over the inventory for the day. No doubt they had enough to get them through the rest of the event but they were gonna start running low on certain varieties soon enough. By the end it would be a big ol' grab bag variety bushel of apples. Could she make that work? Probably, though she had some confidence that the red delicious would see them through to the end. If not- well, there were worst fates than an amazing grab bushel of apples! She put the bits away and got the apples all dressed up in their bushel, her eye catching the tenative kiss that elicited a smirk from Applejack. Little colts really were super bashful these days! How could he look like an sophisticated young stallion if he was going to turn red every time a pretty gal gave him a kiss! He seriously doubted his awesome Uncle Thunderbyrd got all tingly when his mare-friend started with the smooches. This was the sleepover all over again! Thankfully Apple Bloom was not kissing to tease, but to thank. And while there was a zillion things in the young pony's mind, a sturdy, earth pony hug promptly brought him back to the real world. "Thanks Apple Bloom!", the colt nearly dropped his bag of apples as they were hoofed over to him. His legs felt like jelly! But he could feel the heat from his cheeks slowly disperse. Maybe a few more kisses would help....He turned and nearly ran right into the mare. "Guess it's your turn!" he winked at the Pegasus pony. The red mare had no intention on buying apples. She had a long trip back to her home in Fillydelphia, but maybe her folks could use a bag? There was Granny Smith apples for baking. Newtown Pippin for cider. And even a few apples for salads...But knowing her family's poor record when it came to cooking, she simply shrugged, "Well, I was here looking after the little fella here." She managed to avoid the nasty look the colt gave her for calling him 'little'. "He has his bag for making candy apples, and while I did not plan on getting any myself, these all look really good.", she studied the assortment of apples that were laid out for the event. "As for apples....I dunno, whatever's not selling. I'll take a bag of that." She had asked for what wasn't selling but the truth was it was a harder question to answer than Fire may have believed if she was looking to just not cause a hassle. The straight answer was Fuji, they hadn't sold many of those apples just yet. But they also didn't have many of them and were considered a bit on the premium side. They didn't make much of a profit on anything they were selling today (excepting the kisses, she tended to give those for free) but the Fujis were being sold at a loss. But you know what? Today wasn't gonna be about fudging numbers. She asked what was being sold the least so far? Well she would get it, even if they were at a premium! Applejack responded quickly, getting the bushel filled with Fujis before Fire could say scrumptious. "Well, Ah think this'll work out just fine. Some delicious Fujis for ya! Prince Lee-Ann of tha Long Guo is some sorta pen pals with Apple Bloom over there and gave us a fast growing tree that gives us Fujis. Pretty rare in Equestria, ya know?" Applejack said proudly. "Ah think yer gonna love 'em. That'll be five bits, Sugarcube," Applejack said, pushing the bushel forward. This was an exciting day. So many more to go but she still had some kisses left in her. Fire Walker definitely deserved one. An REA mare who upheld the sort of values and traditions that were important and a pony you could trust when everything was going pear shaped. She had recently helped Applejack in the Everfree and this was a nice type of return. So much so that Applejack had put a few more apples than needed in the bushel. Was she named after the apple, or was the apple named off of her? Also, her birth name couldn’t possibly be ‘Granny Smith’. That would be an odd name to give a baby. She wondered what it really was. Apple Smith? Smith Apple? She had what she assumed was an apple pie for her marking. Was her name Apple Pie? Would she then have any blood relationship with Pinkie? That would be interesting to say the least. “That’s really sweet.” The cute little filly sister of hers was pen pals with one of those dragon-deer-pony-people. She had seen a few of them before and they were all absolutely gorgeous. It reminded her while she had been all over Equestria, there was still a great big world out there that she had yet to step her hooves in. There were still a ton of people of many different races out there she had yet to meet. Like three hundred and thirty bits, give or take some? It had been a pretty good success even when you took out what they could have been doing or the costs of Apple Bloom's shenanigans. She was more than certain that she'd have to do this again, probably next year, purely on account of all the money it was making. Sweet Apple Acres turned a profit, after everything else, of about fifty bits a day. They were gonna right on double that, not to mention all the savings due to disposal and re-harvesting for orders. It had been a lot of fun too and no doubt it would be the talk of the town for a few days, which would boost business again. All in all a great little idea from the little apple, who had not so secretly turned a shade of red at the Prince's mention and slinked off somewhere to get the blush out. Leaving her with Fire Walker, who seemed all about the kiss. Good, less insecure and scared ponies. She didn't mind sharing her love but she felt bad at times when she had to coax them into such a simple exchange. Fire was into doing this, even if she wasn't all that talkative. "One kiss, comin' right on up!" Applejack said with a chuckle, pulling her friend in for a warm, friendly kiss that lingered a moment or three longer than she had intended. Kinda hard not to give in to such friendliness though! Applejack pulled away, beaming all the same. She sighed. "Ya know, Ah wish everypony was like you and didn't freak out so much about kisses. Why, Ah think Ah've seen some ponies faint! Why, over little ol' me?" Applejack asked rhetorically, taking no small amount of pride in it. She waved to her friend. "Have a good'n, Sugarcube. Good... morning?" The pegasus took a brief look up to the sky, trying to determine the position of the sun, flight goggles tipping back on his head. "Well, it's morning somewhere, I suppose. Some distant islands far beyond where pony eyes can see..." He trailed off, his voice beginning to lilt as if in preparation to sing, but he shook his head again, dislodging his goggles, which he scrambled to catch. "Sorry, daydreaming. Thinking of a song to write. Um, yes, apples..." He looked over the bushels, a little bemused at the variety before him. "Um... do you have any mixed bushels? Fella spent so long pondering the vague nature of day and night and time that Applejack found herself momentarily lost in the thought as well, wondering where exactly in the world it was morning. Them Griffon lands to the west, Saddle Arabia- definitely Maretonia, right? What was breakfast like there anyway? They didn't have much farming going on due to the fierce weather. Just like him she had a bit of a far away look until she snapped out of it, giving him a friendly chuckle in the process. "Well, Ah figure yer right on that account, Sugarcube. Always dawn somewhere, always dusk somewhere! Ah'm Applejack. What's yer name, fella?" She asked, thinking his goggles were awfully fetching. Wait, he wrote songs? Quick change of topic. Apples. Apples apples apples, which was something she could get behind. Songwritin' was nopony's business besides the ponies writing it. Rara taught her that and Applejack wasn't about to disrupt a creative process. Sky went about asking for a bushel of mixed up apples. That was no trouble, none at all. She had plenty left to give after all! It would still be mostly from the larger varieties first, but he would get himself a nice bushel of variety Sweet Apple Acres, the juiciest, freshest apples this side of the Orchard! Because the other side was due for a harvest, you see. A little Apple joke about apples, you see. "Oh, that's no problem Sugarcube! Here, a nice variety bushel for ya!" She said, getting to work. In just over...maybe ten seconds he had a full bushel with six different types of apples. "There we go. A nice collection of tha best apples in Equestria! The farmer would be able to see among them what looked like a sculpture of a sailing ship, drifting among the fluffy white surroundings. "That's my house right up there; I was just going to stock up on food before moving on." Pegasi architecture was a wonder, for sure, but this was probably the first time Ponyville had been introduced to their concept of a 'mobile home.' "It's my recording studio too, but anyway..." Returning to the business at hoof, Sky dug through his pockets... and mane... and tail to scrounge up the required five bits. "Heh, dunno how those all got there." He didn't have the look of a pony with many bits to spare; but then, his chosen career would take some time to really bring in any kind of money. Dropping them all on the counter, he paused. Pegasi of any sort of skill or stature seemed to be able to afford the basics for any sort of home they wanted to build, imagination being the only real barrier. Rainbow Dash's house was a monster of a beaut! It was like some sort of sky-mansion and this fella looked like he was ready to go sailing the sky. Hey- that made sense, his name was Sky Sailing! He was a bit of a sly devil with the house choice, wasn't he? "Happy to meet you, Sky Sailing. Say, how'd ya get yer house like that? Mah fillyfriend's got herself a bit of a sky-mansion herself, but it doesn't have any sorta movement. How y'all keeping it all anchored down?" Applejack said, honestly curious how Pegasi managed to keep it all under control. Probably had something to do with their weather control. He scrounged up the bits which Applejack took reluctantly, if still with a smile. He really was a bit scatterbrained, wasn't he? She supposed that self-styled 'artists' could get caught up in daydreams and disorganization. Heck, Rarity was the greatest Artiste in the world but when she was in the creative flurry that characterized her greastest succeses her room was a pigsty. Nonetheless she took the bits and put them away, pushing the bushel towards him. "Thank you muchly! Here is yer bushel. As fer the kiss- well, now that you have paid yer bits and yer bushel is all ready for ya, y'all get a nice kiss from me! Now come here you silly little songwriter!" Sky looked proudly back at his home, remembering the rather exciting day when he finally 'spread his wings,' so to speak. "I used to live in Cloudsdale, so there were a lot of ponies around who knew how to do that kind of work. Usually, it can't move unless I'm in it; that's what keeps any of our houses from just blowing away. On really windy days, though, I use a rope." It was an obvious clue to his heritage that, despite not being directly connected to weather or cloudmaking, his mind was considerably less scattershot when talking about such matters. One might say that it was in his bones. Hearing that he was permitted to kiss Applejack, merely by buying her apples, Sky blinked in surprise, but then smiled, leaning over himself to lock lips with her. He was short, gentle, and sweet, and the soft and dreamy look was back in his eyes as he pulled away. "Clear as the notes that I heard on the breeze... sweet as the apples which fall from your trees..." He smiled. "I think I know what my next song is going to be about. Thank you!" She didn't much alow him to longer if only because she noticed him getting sort of lost in it, that dreamy-eyed look that signaled somepony was getting caught up in the moment. She chuckled slightly when she first pulled back, then listened to him pull off some rather corny song lyrics. She liked corny song lyrics which was evident thanks to the blush she wore when she spoke. Heck, Applejack'd be the first to admit that it felt darn good to send ponies off into a tizzy because of your affections. It was affirming in some way, that you were considered so good that your attentions and intimacy even when it was clearly not intimate could drive ponies in such ways. Rarity would be far more overt about it and sought it. Applejack never really sought it, but- well she guessed today she did, but it wasn't the point. She was lost in that train of thought and was just staring st Sky Sailing before realizing how weird that was and shaking her head. "Haha! Well, yer gonna have one heck of a song written in no time. Have a good'n Sky Sailing!" She said, waving away the humming pegasus as he flew away. Well, it was rare to have somepony so willing and excited! Applejack got a nice mug of water and drank it deep and down. Her moisture was starting to go south on her. She also pulled out a toothbrush, some tooth paste, and got to business to ensure the next kiss was as fresh as could be. She was through sixty-nine kisses! Only thirty-one left. If you had asked her yesterday if she would have been kissing sixty-nine ponies she would have told you that The Watering Hole needed a ten drink maximum. It seemed that in getting caught up in the idle chit chat with the ponies in line around him did indeed speed up the process. Kinda. On the one paw it felt like it took ages! Months! But on the other paw it really was only a few minutes. Time was always a weird concept, but this wasn't the place to be contemplating time! Nope, Gideon was a hungry dog and he was sure that no one would appreciate him holding up the line, least of all his stomach! "Sounds like I'm up, 'scuse me!" he said to his conversational partners before making his way up to the booth with a whistle. Coming up on Applejack's booth, Gideon politely grinned and waved in greeting. "Hey there, hi there miss! Looks like business is really boomin with this kissing booth innit?" he wondered just what this pony's reaction would be. After hoards of ponies in line to get a smooch and some apples, the sudden diamond dog thrown in the mix likely would be a bit of a shock! Hopefully a humorous one at the very least. They simply had very little positive interaction with ponies. Kidnapping her friends to search for Gems, stealing from her orchards, roughing ponies up when the going got tough- a whole litany of little insults. Luckily in recent years a few Diamond Dogs had settled into Ponyville all proper like and while they had their own tics and acts which were on the vexing side, they were no different from ponies in that regard and Applejack liked them all much the same. This fella seemed to be popular enough in the line so she was plum happy to have him on board! "Howdy there partner! Y'all don't have ta call me miss. Ah'm Applejack. What's yer name, fella?" She asked, already feeling like this Dog was gonna be a friendly sort. "Yeppers! Ah'd say this booth's been a big ol' success so far. And we still have so far ta go too! No worries though, Ah still have plenty of Apples aaaaaaannnndddd plenty of kisses!" She waggled her eyebrows with zero sensuality. "So, whatcher wantin' today, Sugarcube?" Applejack cheerily asked, motioning to her many, many apples. Inside the wagon was a pony, a Unicorn to be exact who had come to see what the line was about. When he had heard about the "Apple Kiss" that Applejack was offering, if some pony bought apples that made him curious. Could he convince her to let him test a creation of his on her Granny, Granny Smith? While it was not a miracle cure, it was a pain reliever. Sighing, he stepped into position in the line, wearing saddle bags that held some bits in them, but also a pain reliever potion that he had made hours earlier. Good to see that having to swap spit with so many ponies today hadn't hampered this mare's spirits any. "Nice to meet you, Applejack. The name's Gideon, Giddy for short if you like! Pack leader and traveling merchant!" he said proudly, but now obviously wasn't the time to go into a sales pitch, his grumbling hungry stomach attested to that. Gideon rubbed his chin and glanced over the selection of fruit. Truth be told he'd not be able to tell one apple from another. "Well, I can't say I'm too much of an apple connoisseur so I suppose a trio of mixed bushels would do the trick if that's fine with you." with a small hum he began to dig through the pockets of his jacket to pull out the required bits. "Plan on taking them home with me to my pack." his stomach growled loudly once again, causing him to blush a little. "...Well most of em anyway." Allowed her to even out the distribution and lessened the possibility of running out of any one variety. She took out another bushel and started going through her apples. One of this and that and then two or three of others, a variety of tastes, textures, and colors that were sure to delight both this Diamond Dog and the pony who was increasingly feeling comfortable with the quick pace of the day's events. All in all it was turning out mighty fun. And to think she had been so reticent at the start! It had turned out to be a whole bushel of fun! Hehehe, now she was thinking like Apple Bloom. That'd be a corny enough catchphrase for next year's event (assuming they had one), or whatever else they did to ensure that this success was replicated. "Pack leader, huh? Ah guess that means that all that Dogs around ya listen ta ya, right? How many ta a pack are there, anyway?" Applejack mused. It always seemed like there were far too many Diamond Dogs to a pack when things were bad and not enough to a pack when things were good. She had always assumed it was just that the bad ones ran around with their like-minded fellows while the good pups were more likely to form smaller groups, though many more packs like that probably existed. Of course she could be completely wrong on all accounts. She was smart enough to know her ignorance was pretty blatant on the topic and curious enough to ask so it wouldn't eat away at the back of her mind next time she saw a Diamond Dog. Poor photographer was distracted by a really rare birds while waiting for a train in Trottingham. Taking pictures of this uncommon specimen proved to be so engaging, that Snapshot was lost in the passage of time. Predictably, it let to areion missing her ride, and she was forced to fly to her next stop on her journey - Ponyville. Problem was, there were Nimbus Lakes in the way. And she couldn't soar over water like she usually did. As such Snapshot had to put some effort in her flight. An endeavour that left her very very VERY hungry, thanks to that big wing of hers. Thank Harmony that Ponyville was already in sight. Snappy doubted she could fly any longer otherwise, without at least a snack. "Oh gosh, oh gosh...." ecru mare panted as she landed on town outskirts in very ungraceful way. Her flight muscles were burning from the strain of flight. Maybe if she just lay still for a moment... But no, loud rumbling in her stomach reminded her it was no time to doze off. She needed fuel. She need SUGAR! "Ok Snappy, you can do it. Just a little more..." areion attempted to give herself a pep talk, struggling onto her hooves. The camera that hanged from her neck could very well be ten ton boulder right now. "Just a little more and you can buy yourself a nice filling, tasty dinner and..." photographer stopped abruptly. This smell...she knew this smell! The rich sweet aroma...it could be only one thing. The very, very beautiful thing. "A...a-a-a-app...." Snappy mumbled, drooling. Her hooves moved on her own, guided by this unresistable aroma - uncaring that he half-dragged her massive appendages. Soon the object of her desire appeared in Snapshot view. A sale, an apple sale! Delicious, juicy crimson apples! There's about fifty of us in the pack, we live under the deserts near Appleloosa." he said with a proud grin as he pulled the bits from his jacket and laid them on the table. "Oh a bit of this and that. We dig up gems and minerals and relics and sell them across Equestria. Sometime I'm around Ponyville you're free to come and take a look at my wares!" Gideon nodded over his shoulder at his cart. "I won't hold you up any longer for now, it looks like you've still got a lot of apples to sell." With a little smile, Gideon leaned in and placed a gentle paw under her chin as they met for a smooch! Tender and sweet but only a moment. Pulling back he grinned and winks. "Mm, minty fresh, ten out of ten! Ahaha. Thanks Applejack, you have a great day!" She had objected to her AJ being smooched by the general population of Ponyville and beyond at first but the came to the conclusion that it wasn't a big deal. AJ had pledged her heart to the rainbow maned mare and she had nothing to worry about. That was the good thing about being with the element of honesty. She trusted her partner absolutely on all matters, including this one. "What do you think Zappers?" She questioned the tiny bundle strapped to her back between her wings. "Your mama kissin' all these other ponies? Do we object to that?" She came upon the scene right as a diamond dog planted a soft kiss on the muzzle of the orange mare. "Can't believe I'm gonna have to wait my turn to kiss my mare!" She chuckled lightly to herself. She knew she had Applejack all to herself whenever she wanted at home. Of course, like a dog, it was far too wet for her taste but what were you gonna do? Wasn't like the fella had that much control! Truth be told she was far more worried about how Winona'd act about it later that night when she cuddled up for bed. She'd smell this strange other dog smell lickin' up on her owner's face and be all sorts of freaked out. She'd bark and look confused and betrayed and then Applejack would pat her on the head and pull her in and she'd forget all about it. Winona was one heck of a dog, not much of a genius. "Thanks a lot, Gideon. Good luck with them apples and that pack o' yers!" She yelled after him, sighing when he left. Now that was a Diamond Dog she'd be happy to have around! She went about cleaning up the slobber quickly. Time was of the essence and all that jazz but most importantly she wanted to be clean. Wasn't like she was worried about ponies gtelling their friends and family that she was a bad kisser or somesuch, nopony'd really cae about that now that Applejack was in deep with Rainbow. But being unclean? Well, she was a proper businessmare who ran a business that dealt with fruit. Being unclean wasn't just bad business, it could lead to bad health! She always made sure to clean up as well as possible, and it'd be a shame if the word that got around was she unclean. She did her job quick and clean and took a deep breath, a gulp of water, and looked on out. They were getting there! Yeeee-hawww!
