Marble Hornets! YES!!

I ADORE creepypasta and anything scary! Because I don't get scared :D You see, in my life the trauma has been a maximum, so I'm a fearless person now. Well. Actually I'm scared of lots of things, but just to give you a perspective:

Love Grimdark, Slender Man, The Rake, Discluded Episodes, Conspiracy Theories, and I've downloaded and played all five Luna Games! As for horror movies, I've seen too many :halo:

As a side note...Cheerilee's Garden is the only story to ever make me shake, cry, and puke. :sniff:

Scary movies dont get to me XD Infact if anything their my faveourtie genre. Though you dont get good horrors like you used to. Alot of horror now adays is ghosts :L Like Paranormal Activity. That must of been the worst movie I've ever seen. Well aside from Tommy Wiseau's The Room. That movie makes me shiver in fear at its sheer badness.

Horror movies kind of suck nowadays, theres just hauntings and thats it. Seriously, what happened to all the good ideas? These people need to start surfing the internet. Jeff The Killer could have his own movie (THAT would be scary :D )

There's different levels of scared. Well, I think there is.

I voted sometimes anywho...

There's being scared in a safe environment. IE, creepypasta, movies, Etc.

And there's being scared in an un-safe environment. IE, walking home in the dark, walking through a rough part of town, Etc.

I personally enjoy browsing /r/paranormal on Reddit. There are interesting stories/experiences/questions there. Not really scary, but can be a bit creepy. Eh, creepy-pastas I enjoy. SOME scary films: I prefer stuff that makes you jump, than say something like the SAW series.

Out of everything, I think movies based on things that seem naturey and sort of come under the 'could happen' genre, like Volcano and such.

Also, Post apocalyptic things... I was watching I Am Legend one evening, it was on TV and around midnight, it was starting to get creepy so I freaked out and went to bed XD I was the only one awake so .__. ...but I did eventually find and watch it all during the day! Haha. :P

Saw ain't scary.

This is the part where you look at me weird for liking it.

Although it does prove that there is now a fine line between 'horror' and 'torture porn'.

Something like the woman in black I would call horror. (Not scary though)

But I am one of the people who finds horror games scaryer that movies.

Im going throgh lone survivor at the moment. It's getting...trippy.

I don't blame you for having to look up the creepy ending for Super Filly Adventure. The requirements to trigger that ending are EXTREMELY pinpoint, down to REAL-TIME and simply talking to certain characters... :-|

Also, Birdemic ftw. I watched that movie at 4 in the morning a while ago, and by the end of it I was in tears from laughter. It's honestly the closest anyone will get to Ed Wood quality entertainment in this day and age...

Search up A guy named "Jontron"'s review of it. to put it simply, he has this reaction:

srsly.gif

That wasn't edited at all, he actually put that in the video.

Well, this didn't scare me per se, but I like suspense movies like Cloverfield and the Blair Witch Project that are kind of like documentaries. Cloverfield scared the crap out of one of my friends, but I just thought it was kind of cool. I've never seen the Blair Witch Project, but I like that kind of supernatural, paranormal stuff. I think it's more interesting than scary. Paranormal Activity was just stupid though. I only saw the first one and I thought it was the dumbest movie I'd ever seen.

Signs freaked me out a little bit, I will admit. Alien movies tend to do that to me. It was a good movie though...made better by the fact that I was eating an awesome sandwich while watching it. :P

Here's my opinion on scary movies:

Psychological: Stuff like twighlight zone and HP Lovecrat (not technically movies, but you get the idea). I just LOVE stuff like this, and I have no clue why. For all you doctor who fans out there, the empty child does fall into this catagory (I watched that episode at two in the morning and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night).

Gorey Gross Out: Excessive gore doesn't bother me too much, but I think it's a cheap way to scare people. If there's too much gore, I consider the film to have low production values.

La da da OH MY GOD HE'S BEHIND YOU WITH A KNIFE!: I think that horror movies that rely mainly on surprise (such a paranormal activity) to scare you are cheap and stupid. That said, they scare the living #@$% out of me and I don't like watching them. Alien is the one exception to this, because Ridley Scott is a genius.

I think realisim in horror can be a defining factor. The whole this could happen to you element is something that will make people place themselves in that scenario. When you see something that could happen to you and you identidy with a character (say because they remind you of how you would act) and they die. That can scare folk XD Though after seeing way to many movies the effect of horror sadly starts to just become null :L D:

I have read creepypasta for a long time, and I have to admit, Cupcakes made me feel a little icky, not sick just, kinda like you have a stomach ache. Sweet apple massacre made my jaw drop, to be honest it was disgusting to another level. Ew. I have also read a few other small ones like, friendship is magic.exe. I am now going to watch happy animes for the next month to clean out my head. I would read rainbow factory but, I'm still settling down from sweet apple massacre. Big M wouldn't act like that  I didn't really mind Cupcakes though.
