I really like Mudbug's characters, so here's a soft, not meant to be highly detailed app for Strawberry Dumpling, Yu Lianhua's mother

Eye Color: Kelly Green to Fuschia ombre

 

Coat: Bubblegum Pink, with Pale Green scales and dark green horns

 

Mane/Tail: Magenta twist with bright green and forest green horizontal streaks

 

Occupation: Works at her parents' Dumpling shop, or at her and her husband's Noodle and Dumpling shop (rp depending)

 

Cutie Mark: A strawberry half covered by a dumpling with two leaves on top and two pink sparkles on either side of it

It was an extremely busy night, and the customers were almost overwhelming to the family of five. Strawberry was in the kitchen cooking up dumplings as quickly as she could, filling orders as fast as they came in. It was tough, but by the end of the hour, she had filled 20 entire orders, and finally, she got a break. As she started some of the dishes, she felt pleased at how she had managed herself, as well as reveling in her passion and joy at discovering her steady pace. It was then that her cutie mark appeared on her flank, a symbol of her hard work and love of cooking.

 

(Brief) History: Dumpling's parents were Lemon Grass (mother) and Wheat Dough (father) they owned a restaurant that SPECIALIZED in dumplings to the point that Strawberry and her two sisters got named after them, respectfully: Strawberry Dumpling, Mango Dumpling, and Lemon Dumpling. They all worked at the restaurant alongside their parents, learning the culinary art of making dumplings as well as the skills needed to work and run a restaurant.

She met Soft Noodle, the stallion to become her husband, when she was actually sent to work in another restaurant to expand her skills, where she and Soft Noodle worked together. Though they didn't agree at first, they both noticed each other's passion for cooking and it just clicked after a good month of working together and becoming friends. They grew closer and were married later.
